I thought Mrs. Jones was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the material. Does teach from the book but isn't that what the books are for? I knew what was on the test by what she taught from the book instead of some teachers interpretation of what would be on the test. Hope to get her again as I advance in classes.

I think that Charity Jones is an exceptional instructor. She always tries to make sure everyone understanding the material and she always offers to stay after class if there is any confusion. She makes sure you are prepared for the tests; which is unique among the math instructors at Weber. I would definately recommend her to anyone.

I struggled with math to begin with. I was really nervous. She went through each section and made sure everyone understood before moving on. She would stay after class and help anyone that asked for it. I connected with her style of teaching. I will take every math class I can with her. She is AWESOME!!!!

I really struggled at first and thought she was hard to understand, but attending every class helped me to get to know her teaching style. If you show the effort she goes out of her way to be helpful. She has good ways to help you remember things and she is humorous and entertaining. Do all homework and attend class and you will pass, no problem.

Excellent teacher! She was fun, happy, the most knowledgeable math professor I have ever met. She would come up with saying that were funny and fun, and I used them all throughout the semester, and will for the rest of my life. I have already enrolled in class for the next semester.

Charity is so nice and helpful. Class was a little difficult to understand because she moves fast, but she was very helpful. Homework was easy and allowed infinite attempts. Wish I hadn't had to drop this class. I do suggest you show up everyday for class. Though it can be done all online, it's easier to understand if you go to class.

It's a really great class, she's willing to work with your schedule in case you miss class. Make sure to have your homework and notes always done and you should be fine, she's always willing to help and she'll make sure you pass. Just don't give up!

She is really nice! Although she goes off topic at times and takes a whole class period to explain one math question, she does a lot better at explaining thing if it's between you and her. She gives you a various amounts of attempts on tests and quizzes if you haven't finished them on time. Definitely recommend her but definitely go to class.

She is super patient, really easy to understand and great at explaining material. I had her for the new flipped class and loved it. If you were behind on anything she had no problem opening it back up and working with you to make sure you got a passing grade. Definitely take her if you hate the term math.

She was an amazing teacher. She explains things easy enough so that I could understand. She also worked with me to get things done. In addition I took this class as a flipped class, and a block class. The class would meet 4/week for 2 hours. I thought two hours was too much, but it went by quick.

Charity was my math professor when I took Math 950, 990, and 1010. She's a great teacher . . . extremely nice, patient, caring, intelligent, and always happy to help. There are 10 quizzes, 4 comprehensive tests, and a final. You can retake any quiz/test, and only your best score is used to calculate your grade. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking her class.

The class is pretty tough if you don't keep up with the homework or deadlines. I was in the flipped block class, meaning you attend the class 4 days a week for 2 hours and have about half a semester to finish everything.

Online class which was very easy. You are allowed to re-take any math quiz or test until you get the score you like. The tests do require a certain grade to move on. Professor Jones was very helpful and nice. I would definitely take a class from her again.

Very helpful in making sure that you understand the principles. Is there to make sure that you are comprehending what your learning. So grateful to have her for my math Teacher.. Would recommend her to any student that is struggling.

I still hate math, but this math class was as good as it gets. You can take your quizzes and tests a multiple times which means you can study what you get wrong and retake for a better score. Plus Prof. Jones is really good about replying to emails and that helps a lot. They provide an online textbook that I barely used so don't get the hard copy.

Professor Jones is an excellent contributor at the Developmental Math Department at Weber State University. I took 1010 Online with her. The class itself is super-hard. She answered any questions I had and helped me to pass the class. She was able to explain the math problems to me in a way that I could understand.

Shes very great at explaining everything. made math really worth going to. shes very willing to help you develop and move on to the next class.. ill take all my math classes from her.

Professor Jones is the best math teacher I have ever had. She is very careful to teach concepts and gives great ideas on how to remember them. LOTS Of homework. An assignment each class period. Go to class, fill out the notes, do the homework, do the quizzes and tests, and you'll pass. I had an A all semester and didn't study for the final very well so I got a B+, but if you study and put effort in you'll get a good grade. She was fair. Loved her class. Easy to understand. Would do again.

A great math professor. She specializes in remedial math so her 1050 classes are taught in the mindset that the book isn't always the best way to do things, which is incredibly helpful. Plus she is very hot.

She really takes the time to make sure everyone understands everything and if you don't, she is always willing to answer questions in her office. If you struggle with math, take it from Charity. I will say that I wish I wouldn't have bought the book as I barely used it.

The teacher is awesome, but the class is hard. Prepare for a TON of studying, homework, quizzes and hard tests. If you are a full time student like me, I suggest either this be the only class you take or take easy and light homework classes. Expect to spend 15 hrs+ a week on studying and homework. I ended up dropping because I couldn't keep up.

Professor Jones is one of the best math teachers I've ever had! She is very patient and diligent when teaching all of her students. She goes to extreme lengths to make sure her students understand. It is important to go to class to get your questions answered. Just jump through all of the hoops, easy A class!

Charity is such a sweet lady. She genuinely cares about her students and their understanding in the class. She'll go out of her way to explain a concept if you don't understand it. There are tons of assignments you can redo as many times as you want which is great to cushion your grade. Tests are easy if you know how to do the exam review.

Charity is AMAZING. I failed 1050 last semester and she's been so helpful at trying to help all her students pass this class. She truly cares about your learning and is willing to be flexible on situations and change assignment dates! No text book, only online math and quizzes! Plus 3 tests and a final! Would take her again!

I took Math 1010 this semester and I'm certainly glad I took it with Prof. Jones. She was incredibly helpful and is very caring towards her students. She does all she can to help you understand the material and pass the class. I highly recommend her!!!

Charity is wonderful. This was my 2nd shot at 1050 and she was fantastic. Don't worry about the class being at the West Center, it's worth it! Plus, she is easy on the eyes.

I thought Charity was a prime example of an excellent teacher. She made sure her students understood the subject, and cheered them on. Only problems is the large amount of homework she assigns, but whats new. Be careful about registering, unless your okay with driving to the West Center in Roy to go to class

Dr. Jones is a great teacher, she is dedicated to her job and loves teaching math. She cares that you understand why and how math works. She is willing to meet during office hours if you need extra help. Attendance is necessary, it is a math class and if you miss you will get behind. If you study and work hard you will pass.

She was great, checked in with us usually weekly to keep us up to date with the schedule of when stuff was do etc... Offered help a lot. Honestly she was fine, but Weber States math program with math 950,990, and 1010 isn't that great. You basically have to teach yourself.

I took 1010 and 1050 from Charity. I struggle with math, but Charity took the time to explain and to answer any questions I had. In 1050 She allows you to re-take quizzes and re-do homework until you get 100%. She gives 4 test each worth 15% of your grade, the final is 25% of your grade. Homework is a must or you wont be prepared for her tests.

Charity is a really nice lady. My only complaint is she tends to spend a lot of time explaining things that are simple (adding and subtracting), and then we'd run out of time for the more difficult concepts. 4 tests, online homework, book work, and a final. Overall an easy class, you can tell she wants to help anyone learn. Take her class!

I took a "REAL" math 1010 class, where you work in groups a lot. She was reasonable with the homework and there were 4 tests that you were well-prepared for and a final. She is always willing to stay after and help you with anything you need. Sometimes not a step-by-step teacher, but if you ask questions, she'll always break it down.

One of my favorite professors to date. She really puts her heart and soul into her work. She wrote handouts for every day of class and they were so much easier to understand than the textbook (which I did not use or buy). Homework is online, I liked it. Show up to class and you will pass, she is open to questions and explains material well

Amazing! I really lucked out because I didn't have time to look up my professors before signing up for classes but Charity is terrific. Since it was online I was pretty much on my own. She did give me many opportunities to retake quizzes which I appreciated but she does not work on the main campus so I couldn't get personal help in person. She gave me extra points on quizzes when I was marked wrong on the computer but clarified that I was right to her.

Im in my new math class now, and its SO much easier for me because she truly makes sure you understand the steps you need to be successful in future math classes. I have always hated math classes, but after taking this math 1010 class with her I have been doing really well and she is always willing to help out. most of class time is reviewing/preparing for homework or tests which is super nice. she is willing to do problems you dont know and will help you as much as she can!! She's always available after class to talk, and if you bring up any issues you have with test scores she'll help resolve it. "Mandatory" attendance, but if you're putting in the work, she'll wave it. Lectures are repetitive, but also spends time on the homework in class. You'll probably want to take notes while doing the hw or it can take hours.

Charity is by far the most caring and respectful professor that I have ever had. That being said, she is one for which I have great respect as well. She knew I was not only having a hard time in class but that I was having an incredibly difficult time with things outside of class. She has been so helpful and willing and kind and patient.

I really struggled with the material in this class, but Professor Jones made sure that I could make up the work I missed. She is super forgiving and a great teacher, just be sure to pay attention because the material goes by very quickly

best math teacher i have ever had, took her for 1010/1050. she really cares about you passing and helping you. sometimes she gets off topic but she stays to the schedule and will push stuff back so everyone is prepared. you have quizzes and hw and you can retake those and the exams. for real loved this teacher and ive always hated math.

Charity was incredibly kind. if you show up to class, do the homework, do the quizzes she is willing to work with you. she let me retake a math test 3 times. she really wants to see her students succeed, she's not here to fail you. you would have to try to fail Ms. jones class.

Overall I am glad I took this class.

I took Math 1010 two different times. She teaches how to do the equations in class, making doing the assignments easier. Doing the test for this class was great, too. After you finish a test, she'll review it, and usually, if a question was marked wrong, but it's correct, she'll bump up the score. Take this professor if you're taking math 1010.

She was always willing to meet to discuss homework questions, or missed test questions. I failed math 1050 before, and ended up getting an A the second time because of her! You can take each test twice, and the quizzes as many times as needed. She wants you to do well in this class, and is easy to pay attention to in class. She makes math fun!

TAKE THIS CLASS!! I failed it before with a different professor, and I did awful! I never give any math classes a 2 difficulty, but this was so darn easy. She is so nice, organized, caring, funny and understanding. 2 Attempts on tests(Testing center), daily quizzes (you can practice or just look up the answers for them), and an Sig Assignment.

Professor Jones is so kind and wants her students to succeed! However, I do not recommend taking this class online. I love the professor, but I don't like how all of the 0950 classes are in general. Expect a lot of homework and quizzes. Professor Jones does anything she can to help you pass this course! She's very motivational.

This class was little difficult and it was very fast paced but professor was very nice and willing to help her students. I would absolutely take another class with her.

Took her 1010 class before her 1050 and she was so good, helped me when I needed help. About 3-4 homework assignments a week and 4 tests and a final with a retake.

I loved this class. It's almost impossible to fail because you can't move onto the next assignment until you get a specific grade on the previous one, even exams. Charity and her TA answer messages very quickly and are very nice.

All grades were based off of the homework and quizzes/tests. There was something due everyday, but she was great, and if issues came up she was willing to work with you. I would take a class with her again. I was hoping she would be teaching my next math class as well, but she wasn't. Great Teacher! Just get ready to work!

Great professor!! I took an online class and she was very responsive and accommodating. One Lecture a day, each module ending with an at home quiz, and every few ended with an exam at the testing center.

Charity is an amazing professor and I would highly recommend taking her classes for any math. She is a great teacher and her lessons in class are very easy to understand. The homework is through Knewton Alta and she is very understanding and helpful in regard to testing, always willing to make sure you understand the material.
