Professor Keeler is a great teacher. She is very relaxed and a very nice, but quite politically liberal. Work consists of three essays, a book to read, and some journals. I would recommend this professor. Take her if you can.

Very good professor, easy to comprehend concepts and assignments. Her papers are a bit hard due to her meticulous emphasis on grammar, but alright. Very cool and relatively easy if you apply yourself. We also got to watch South Park!

Easiest and nicest professor I've ever had.

She is such a down to earth professor and she acted like she was one of the students. She didn't even want to come to class. As long as you know how to write and are clear you will get an A. You write about fun stuff and she is hilarious.

Nice teacher and extremely helpful especially with the conferences. Lots of writing though so be prepared for that. Packets can be kind of a bit too much so be prepared to stay up all night if you're planning to complete the packet the last minute.

She can be viewed as intimidatingly smart and unreachable while being simultaneously funny and approachable, and her deep philosophical and artistic qualities make her outstanding - sort of like a female Kurt Cobain/Sylvia Plath figure. Everyone wants to know her. I wish I could marry her. Instead, I left her cryptic flowers.

She's a great teacher. Whoever wrote they didn't learn anything should remember the class is only 6 weeks long for people failing EWP many times. She helped me. I don't understand what your expecting. But I know who you are. I sat behind you. You: lazy, late all the time, plagiarized a journal. Stupid.

I can not believe I got an A in this class considering I was not that good at writing essays. She is very good at helping you if you need it. Always listen to what she says b/c that will get you a better grade. She a very easy going teacher. She lets you do class discussions in class which are realy fun.

I came into her class not knowing how to write papers but left with such a vast improvement in my technique. The class is challenging and there is a lot of work: journals are once a week (kind of a pain) and you have 6 essays total but, they're interesting topics. She hilarious and acually knows what she is talking about. Plus we watch Donnie Darko

She has a great sense of humor and makes an attempt to connect with her students. Assignments are weekly and painful. I passed the class with a C and I'm happy.

She's super sarcastic and funny which makes the class fun. A lot of essays! Once you turn one in the next one is assigned, and the topics become increasingly harder but her comments are very helpful. My writing improved greatly throughout the semester. About 2/3 short stories to read a week, which weren't too bad/long Class is definitely passable

In my opinion, she's a great teacher. She's very friendly, available if you need help, and aims toward your improvement as a writer. Although the essay's may be tough at first, the key is to not procrastinate. You will improve as a writer in this class, and really that's what your graded on. Give in all your effort, and you'll come out with an A.

Awesome professor! All the assignments are related to the next essay topic which helps a lot. She will help if you ask for it. Easy to contact. Some essay topics may be difficult, but you can ask for help, which it can improve your grade. You learn a lot from her too. You'll miss out a lot of info if you skip class. Besides, it's interesting. =]

Probably the best class I have taken and will take. Read every assignment and do not leave essays for the last minute. She will treat you as a friend if you let her and that will work for you benefit. Come to class as muuuuch as possible, if you miss email her and she will help you out. She is a great professor and person.

She is super funny and is always cracking jokes in class. There are 3 out of class essays and 2 in class essays although you are always writing in that class the topics assigned are interesting. Before we start and essay we always read material that will help us in writing our essay!And there are days she lets you leave 15-20min early.

If you are taking any English course and this teacher is available, TAKE HER CLASS! I had her for my first semester in Eng101 and she was incredibly fun. She's a woman of few words, however she makes hellarious comments and tells you informative things. A-personality and very lenient. Tough grader but will make you a better writer.

Keeler's a really funny and down-to-earth kind of woman. I got an A. you do 5 essays: 3 take home and 2 inclass. she tells you exactly what she wants. she cancelled class the last month and a project because she felt like it. Class was always very talkative and fun, which made you want to go to class. fair grader and interesting short stories.

super fun class, best class of my semester, if you are a great essay writer this class is going to be a piece of cake if not its going to be a little tough she really doesnt teach just talk about the readings still a great fun class

She is a very fun teacher. I really enjoyed being in her class. She's helpful & actually gives you an answer that will help you on essays. There's 3 essays that you do, some homework that is not hard at all, and you have to go to the writing center 3 times by the end of the semester. I'm gonna miss her class, she's very funny.

Awesome teacher! Easy class, 3 essays and one is a photo essay which just has pictures, you can do online in about a half hour. 10 journals almost every week. really easy 1 page double spaced on reading done previous night. She's funny and easy to talk to. I would definitely take her again. Not an easy A, but an easy B. haha

Professor is extremely nice, and she's hot. Her sarcastic tone makes class interesting, and her easily amused computer antics lightens the day. Great class, great teacher, and I want her to grade all my essays.

SUPER HARSH GRADER. The class theme was happiness and you learn so much about yourself doing the assignments so I really enjoyed the class. Thank god for the extra credit opportunity or I wouldn't have gotten an A. I feel like she needs to understand that 301 is not for English majors, so our writing may not be as good as she hopes.

Professor Keeler is exactly what you would expect of an English teacher. After all it is Advanced College Writing. There are a total of 5 essays. That makes up the majority of the grade. There are some weekly assignments to be done, but it is predominantly essays. She clearly defines what she wants out of the students and gives good feedback.

What I hated about English is the fact that each reading is usually different and hardly connects with one another. This teacher was rad in that she kept everything singular and even though we had multiple readings they all connected to the same subject. This made papers & research fairly easy. She's pretty laidback and is totally relatable.

One of the hardest classes I had this semester. I had to work really hard to get an A. Make sure to go above and beyond for assignments, read her prompt carefully, and ask her for help! She's tough but she's was always willing to help. In the end, there a small extra credit assignment that will boost your grade. Goodluck!

This English class changed my life! I chose to take it online, and it was the best decision I ever made! Professor Keeler is the BEST English professor out there!!! Her expectations are very clear in her syllabus, and the work load is very manageable. She responds very quickly to emails and gives amazing feedback on essays! Please take her!!!!!

This class has made me a better writer. Prof Keeler constructed this class in a way that made me think critically of my life & the world around me, all the while forcing me to express those thoughts into fluent and organized words in the form of essays. She's one of the best professors ever. This is one of the hardest classes. Take her. Be inspired

This is my favorite class by far. Professor Keeler is amazing and she helped me become a better writer. We wrote about 4 essays but they were fairly easy and she set up one on one conferences. I can tell she really cares about her students. The class is super laid back, we watch videos a lot and have group discussions.

I loved keeler. At first she was scary to be honest and she comes off that way - but at the semester goes along you will love her. She's very straightforward. Her classes were very interesting we often watched videos and movies. She's a really cool person to talk to and extremely intelligent.

Easy prof. Her grading criteria is very clear. However, get ready to read because she has 4 books on her syllabus. We had 4 papers and 1 group project. Her comments are a bit off-putting though. She literally has no filter, so sometimes the class would legit gasp at some of the comments she made. I don't think she has bad intentions though.

Shes an ok professor. Has an interesting sense of humor. Sort of difficult to see during office hours. Papers arent bad either, pretty typical of an English class.

It was a writing class, so obviously there are a few papers, 4 I think? There are very few tests and quizzes. Make sure to actually read what she assigns, you won't be able to wing it in the discussions. She is really impressed when you volunteer to give an answer, especially in a shy class. Overall, super chill but you still have to try hard.

Also gives out detailed feedback when asked :) Very understanding and will work with you! Wide range of types of papers, but overall enjoyed her class. Incorporated diff. assignments to cater to everyone!

The class consists of 5 discussions, 3 essays, an annotated bibliography and other easy assignments. She is a nice teacher. She makes us turn in rough draft, but I never got my feedback for my final draft. Other students peer review them. She answered my emails days later after the assignment I had a question on was due.

class is really easy, especially for an upper div grad requirement. very lenient in late work; as long as you request an extension w/ a semi-valid reason she will grant it. only problem is that she rarely replies to emails.

Very easy class, grades almost every assignment with a 100 as long as you turn it in on time and have decent writing skills. 1 google slide presentation, 4 papers and some group work. all very easy and understandable directions.

I took this class online and it was a very easy class. 4 total essays and 1 PowerPoint slide. I dread writing but this class was manageable. As long as you turn in your essays and have decent writing you will get an A. she is an easy grader!

Met only once a week. Very easy class. Sometimes lectures would last less than a hour. 3 essays 1 presentation. Make sure you ask all questions during class because she never answers emails or takes very long to. She is very chill and jokes around

Overall, a great professor, loves cracking jokes. She is very clear and wants everyone to pass. Attendance is mandatory, but again, a very chill and laid-back professor should be the easiest A you'll get. Has about 3 papers and 1 presentation. She helps you out along the way as long as you ask during class.
