His class discussions are awesome and tells you how it is meaning he doesn't sugar coat things the way that most professors do! He is very honest and has been around in the real world!

This cat changed my life. Him and Richard Jackson brought me out of the dark about how our US system of government works. I learned alot about the society in which we live in, and how it enables our government to work that way. I've been enraged ever since

I think he had some interesting comments and ideas about the world as he knows it. I could see how some could call these comments and ideas conspiracy theories.

I took his course last summer. He makes you think about our way of life but he was always negative about American values. His leanings politically were too socialist. There was not a good balance of what is good in our country. Charles Angellti tries to indoctrinate rather than teach.

He's an amazing teacher! He's not afraid to challenge you mentally. I would recommend reading the books he assigns because it helps you understand topics that people never discuss. This class really helps expands your way of thinking and makes you want to figure things out for yourself instead of listening to what other people tell you.

Dr. Angeletti was responsible for motivating me to finish college. This class exposed so many of us suburbs kids to the real world. It was an engaging, interactive, eye opening class. I recommend it to all Metro students.

Great class for discussion. No tests, lots of interactive exercises. Not for everyone though. Very opinionated teacher, but still challenges you to think differently.

I give him an A+ because he'll give you an A+ you won't learn anything AT ALL about anything AT ALL but you'll get an A. tests are a joke. No brainers no studying required ever his less than intelligent teacher assistants do most of the work. If you show up and can manage to stay awake he'll give you an A. raise your GPA take the class!!!!!!!

Easy class, but he assumes that every student is ignorant in terms of social inequalities. His lectures were irrelavent to the class, He's good at showing just how horrible the world is.

I have Angeletti this semester for american civ. and I love his class, he's not like those professors who stand up and lecture lecture lecture and have you memorize what he says. In my opinion he's teaches things that are useful even after school.

Charles was an interesting character. I had him for American Civilization and I gotta say the class was intense. He has an outright passion for what he teaches along with an unorthodox method to his madness of what he calls class, but it gets the message across. All in all, an excellent teacher and an overall fun class. I recommend it for history.

He is the man. He makes you wish all professors taught the way he does. He inspires and challenges you. His attendance is mandatory, but don't worry after a couple of classes you won't wanna miss it anyway.

Charles has such a passion for teaching. He really cares about his students. He is great at soliciting interaction between students, and facilitating critical thinking. He is engaging and I always look forward to his class.

This was one of my favorite classes. He's crotchety, funny and intelligent. Classes are interesting, and speakers are interesting, though usually cover civil activism and the like. But it can be a painful class if you're not into being tough by someone who spent most of his life being a civil activist. I loved him, but he's not your average teacher

Angeletti,the best teacher of all time.His methods are not like any other teachers, he makes you see the world for what it really is not rainbows and unicorns. NO WORK, NO QUIZZES.Class is educational and your not learning off of power points like the rest of the other bs classes

I took every class he offered, even the summer classes. This professor is fantastic. He truly helps you understand the real world the situations in it. His classes focus on challenging topics and push your thinking. Thank you, Charles Angeletti! I graduated eight years ago and I still think of how you helped shape the way I think of the world.

Great teacher. He is a complete character and will more than likely offend you if you don't have a sense of humor. Seems like a tough class at the beginning but it's not that bad. Take home final. Love his style of teaching - this class will take you for a trip but Charles is great!

Like the rest of the comments before me, this teacher is super easy! We did not do much besides talk about current news and every once in awhile watched documentaries. No notes, no homework. EASY A!

This professor is amazing both in and out of class. He focuses on current events and has guest speakers in frequently. If you take your time to meet him out of class he can be very helpful and resourceful. My college experience would have sucked without his help!

Class is all over the place, but super easy A, it's entertaining since he's kinda crazy, but if you interact be ready to argue with them (him and his T.A.'s) take it if you want an easy A, and you do learn a bit, he's also against pretty much everything to do with America.

All this teacher does is ask what is on your mind at the start of every class and that is how class is run everyday based on what students say. The only reason I got a B is because I hardly showed up to that class because it was so pointless. All he does is argue with everything you say and you are always wrong. Didn't learn anything.

Charles is the best professor at MSU Denver. Not only will he change your perspective of the world but he will encourage you to become an independent thinker, challenge your own beliefs and become your own person. Unlike other professors he cares about his students wellbeing! Don't wait another minute to enroll in any of his classes!!

Charles is a great professor. I was recommended to his class and I am grateful I took it. He makes the material interesting and uses a wide variety of resources to teach. I was mostly impressed by his guest lecturers.

If you are a liberal, you will like him. He encourages you to speak out and voice your opinion... Unless of course, you are a republican. I got an A on all of his assignments and always went to class, but got a B because "your grade is based upon his opinion of you." Guess he didn't like all of my comments that made him look stupid. Ten year!

Charles is a goofball. If you want to enjoy a purely socialist worldview then climb aboard. He is helpful and pretty standard wrt grading, but occupies another planet when it comes to approach and clarity of lecture.

Delivers his own jaded and poorly informed agenda disguised as educational transmission. An attempt to twist and distort historical reality not teach. Perhaps this professor is capable of excellent work , but it is certainly not in education and he should seek another career. The most generous comment I can make concerning his ability is useless.

Charles Angelettis class was the best class I have ever taken. He might be a little stranger but who isn't. He is always there for students who need him! He is always willing to help students with anything! His class has taught me more about life and myself then any other classes I have ever taken. Take his class you won't regret it!BEST CLASSS!!!!

Professor Angeletti is definitely the best professor at this school. He doesn't only teach his students about REAL problems in America, but he gives us advice on how to beat these problems. He gives us a realistic view and perception on this country. He may not follow the "standard" teaching ways, but it's what makes the class fun and interesting.

Dismisses opinions that don't mesh with his. Perpetuates the ongoing issues of racial inequality that continue to plague our country. Judges students not on the content of their character, but on the color of their skin. That being said, he's not the brightest bulb on the tree, so his class is a cakewalk.

The only thing I liked about his class were the guest speakers. He knows a lot of interesting people that give great presentations. The teacher, however, is a different story. If you're not an extreme liberal, this class is a drag. The midterms are subjective, but if you don't write something that he agrees upon you are docked points.

This professor is the most arrogant flaming liberal and anti American teacher I've ever had. The class is all discussion and beat down of America and everything that is wrong with it. I left every class nascious and depressed. Other than that it's a cake walk class.

He is outstanding! The people who don't like him, don't get him. He's completely open-minded, just committed to his beliefs, without forcing them. He isn't your average history teacher nor is it your average history class. It makes you view America on every level from every perspective. There's a method to his "madness" and you NEED to take him.

People like him because he hands out As and Bs just for showing up but the way he conducts his class is unbelievably awful. Perhaps in his younger years of teaching something valuable came from his lectures, but his 2015 multicultural course was nonsensical at best.

Charles is a man of his word. He is strong willed and won't back down on his point of view which is very valuable in this day and age. He is controversial in his teaching style and material but that is what makes him so sought after. Forces privileged kids to view the world differently than we have before (by being spoon fed the lies of america)

Professor Angeletti is a rare breed of instructor. Bringing students the tools they need to understand the history of the many groups of people in this country is foremost in his goals. The second is encouraging free speech, open communication between those with opposing views, and a facilitation of a helping and communal classroom environment.

Any of his classes are a MUST!! He is phenomenal. Forcing young people like us (who more often than not have a hard time seeing multiple perspectives) to look at societal issues from other peoples point of view. He makes controversial topics able to grasp and hit home. He is wise and an amazing man to get to know.

Prof angelletti teaches the way he wants to and there is no rhyme or rhythm. He is the best in the game. Been teaching for 40 some years and knows exactly how to get to young people. The moral of his story is just know your stuff. Which I wish more teachers taught us. Its not all on them. We gotta step up and charles preaches that. he knows best

A real kind professor. He is real and uncut. He supports his students and is there for you. Gives out his home phone number and always answers. students can call him anytime of day. Cares about education/ young people. He used to force us to ask him 3 questions at the end of class before we could leave. About anything at all. thought that was cool

Angeletti is a rare professor, his class relates to big issues going on in all student's lives, he uses these issues to talk about larger dilemmas in world and how to approach them. He has strong beliefs, but always encourages students to disagree because he values student perspective. The work is easy and open, and allows unique self-discovery.

Wow, what a horrible experience. Talk about promoting mediocrity. It is tragic that some people look up to this guy. He rambles on about problems in America, suggesting that there is NO hope, and whether or not you agree with him WILL affect your grade. Believe it or not, it IS good to have a positive outlook when trying to promote change, sheesh!

Quite simply one of the best professors I have had to date. He truly is one of those extraordinarily rare finds in the world of higher education. Angeletti has spent the last 50 years meticulously designing this course and I personally consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to be a part of it. Do yourself a favor and take his class!!

This class with Pr. Angeletti was one of the most educational classes I've ever taken. Everything that was discussed is used in our everyday lives. This is not your typical history class, you will learn much more than you think. Professor respects everyone's opinion even if it's different from his own. Attendance and participation-mandatory.

Excellent. The class is unconventional and designed to make students think and analyze real world conflicts. Racism, classism, and homophobia are all discussed. I would highly recommend this class.

Charles is one of the best professors that MSUD is luckily enough to have. His methodology is unique but authentic and based on reality. The college classroom is meant to be a place where we are opened to new ideas, challenged and tasked to think critically. Charles has been doing this for 50 years. I hope future students can experience his class.

I took Charles class nearly 10 years ago as an undergrad. I've long since graduated at another University, but Angeletti was by far the most profound professor I've ever had. His lessons had a strong impact, and positively changed my outlook in so many regards. Without doubt the most important and life changing character I've met. Do not miss.

This guy was great! he made you think and kept you on your toes about a lot of things. Though his topics are touchy and the way he delivers it may not be favored you can honestly learn a lot from this man, he has a lot to offer!

Prepare to learn absolutely nothing. You'll watch documentaries on Youtube or Netflix and he'll tell you his political views every day (which are occasionally radical). We talked a lot about gun violence, which did not pertain to the concept of "Multicultural America". Despite this I am glad he graded me nicely despite my strong disagreements w/him
