Boatang is crazy and really funny at the same time. His class is fun and interesting and all you have to do is show up and you pass, never mind taking the tests although they are hard. Took his class as an elective and didnt regret it.

Professor Boateng is hilarious, smart, and racially orientated. He loves to make fun of different ethnicities but its great. He makes class fun with his stand up comedy routines. He is easy as hell. Gives alot of notes but his tests are simple and you don't use any of the books. It's all from his notes. Definitely an easy free elective!!!

WOW! What a great professor his notes are clear but with a strong accent. He even admits that his accent is not very good but he will take the time to spell it out for you if needed. His test are 80% from lector notes so if you pay attention and write your notes, you will pass. Very Funny and you will definately have fun in this class.

Dr. Boateng is the funniest professor I've ever met; although he would be joking half of the period but make sure you pay attention when he's giving notes and understand them because his test can be very tricky. Charles Boateng is the man, hands down. Anyone with an attention span of a goldfish can get an A. He tells you exactly what to write down. His accent is funny and he loves to tell stories and throw you his wisdom. He's very considerate, and and near-perfect attendance is insurance for a bad exam grade for his class. Best teacher ever.

I cry every time I go to his class from laughing so hard. The guy is a genius, not just at making class interesting, but also education wise. At times he can be tough to understand, but he'll repeat what he said if you him too, and then he'll make fun of his own accent. If you want an awesome experience, take Boateng. He's the man!

Great Professor. Probably one of the funniest and nicest guys you'll ever come across. It may take a couple classes to get used to how things work but you will love him once you do. Dr. Boateng is a brilliant professor! He likes to joke a lot, but he takes too much time from actually teaching anything. His tests are difficult, you must take notes and study! He does offer extra credit. You must attend every class, he does move fast when he begins to lecture. I do recommend Dr. B., however you do have to study a lot of notes.

While Dr. Boateng was very humorous with his jokes, it often took time away from him discussing info that was on the 2 midterm tests and the final exam. What usually happened was that he would be lecturing about a topic when suddenly he made some jokes. Then he'd either return to the topic or forget what it was and move on to something else.

I was very scared of this class at first because I hate anything about politics but this professor really made me enjoy this class. Please take him. He's always optimistic and full of energy. He's so funny too. You won't regret! I promise.

You only have three exams and he grades attendance. Easy course if you study, also he tells you everything you need to know for the test! He's hilarious too, I just don't like how he can get off topic for a long time but it's better than being in a boring class.

Professor B. is one of the best you can take at Kean. I actually looked forward to going to his class. Lectures are never boring, he keeps things interesting by adding his hilarious humor during notes. Over all you have 3 exams, multiple choice/true-false/ & one open ended question. Left with an A.

This guy is a great professor. Very friendly and intellectual. You will never experience a boring class with him, despite it being lecture heavy. He teaches from memory and integrates jokes and interactions with his students to make your class experience fun. His tests aren't too difficult too.

****If you are going to take one of his junior or senior level classes DON'T focus on the comments from those who took his freshmen or sophomore level classes because the advanced classes are way harder. You must take a lot of notes from his lectures. Although he has an amazing personality Dr. Boateng goes off topic quite often.

In the Seminar in International Politics class I learned about the problems inherent in diplomatic negotiations, possible armed confrontation after preventive efforts failed, and techniques of conflict resolution. The 3 tests are somewhat difficult & there's a long term paper. President Trump should take this class bc he isn't much of a negotiator!

Dr. Boateng's theme for Senior Seminar was the theory and pratice of diplomacy. At the end of the semester the students orally presented and submitted a term paper which had to be 15-20 pages long. The term paper was worth 40% of the final grade! His 4000 level classes are not as easy as his introductory poli sci classes!!!

If you like to take notes with a pen and paper then prepare for the worst hand cramps of your life. His lecture style is he'll give you all the notes, but they are paragraphs long and some times he's hard to interpret. But this guy is definitely one of the funniest professors in the Poli Sci department. 10/10 would totally take again. USE A LAPTOP

For every lecture, he would crack jokes the majority of the time and spend the remaining time actually lecturing. If you are looking for a fun elective, this class is for you.

He's a great professor. He always makes jokes in class keeping the environment chill. I would suggest to take all the notes he says or befriend somebody who takes the notes. There are 3 tests your grade is based off of, each are worth 30% and 10% for attendance and participation. I mainly just watched Netflix in his class and still got a B.

This man has been the best professor I've had so far. Dr. Boateng the most intelligent and hilarious man I've met. He gives you exactly what to write for the notes but make sure you study them. No homework but few tests, so make sure you attend the lectures for the notes. He wants learning to be fun, and he has for sure done that!

He's super funny and it makes the lectures more interesting. Pay attention to what he says because if you miss it you miss the notes. He says everything straight from memory (no slides) so if you are absent make sure someone an take notes for you.

I absolutely loved Professor B, he has a heavy accent so if you are not good with it, I do not recommend him. I was scared I would not understand him well, but I did and he works with us to pronounce words how Americans do so we understand. He's funny! PAY ATTENTION AND GO TO CLASS. He let us have cheat sheets (front & back). Don't have one? OOF.

Professor Boateng is super cool and a very great teacher! He cares a lot about your grade and gives you many opportunities to turn in your assignments. Show up for class and take down all the notes. You do this, you will pass his tests. Super nice guy. The grades are dependent on the midterm, a 3/4 test, and a final. Attendance is factored in as well. There are no other assignments, no projects, no papers, just take down the notes and study them for the test.

Dr. B is one of those professors that genuinely cares about his students. He is HILARIOUS and wants all of his students to succeed. I have never had a teacher who cared enough to help me as much as him. Hes intelligent and inspirational to say the least. I truly cant recommend him enough.
