Test can be difficult, must study Ta's can either be very good and easy or difficult and hard to understand. Dr. Booth is very helpful keeps material as interesting as possible

Lectures are not necessary, tests are fairly hard, lab and discussion are really easy and help your grade alot. Huge curve at the end of the semester. Final is the exact questions from test throughout the semester. you will get a good grade in the end

Make sure you do the homework problem as they help you with the discussion quizzes. Final is problems from previous exams with a few changes. Total of 6 exams during the semester. If you have trouble, talk to him from the beginning.

I wouldnt say he's a good teacher at all. Laughed my ass off during lectures though, hes VERY comical but doesnt mean to be. I didnt even study for the final. got an A- in the class.

lectures were extremely boring, so I stopped going to class about half way through the semester....nonetheless, I still got an A...easy class

I hated physics until I had him as a teacher. He makes class interesting and easy. His tests are challenging, but if you study the practice tests you will do fine. He is a funny guy, really nice, and is always willing to help you out.

Boothy is a funny guy. His lectures could use some spicing up and his test could reflect his lectures some more. But he helps you out when he curves stuff. Read the text. Do the practice problems. Those are what he uses as test questions.

Dr Booth likes to talk about fishing and he treats his class like his grandkids. Class is easy, labs are a joke, if you dont get a B or higher in this class enroll at DelTech.

Went to class TWO times the whole sem, got Ds on every exam, A in lab and disc, and A on final b/c its cut and paste of past exams. B in the class, easy class

Test are weird, but lab, discussion, and final really pad your grade. Final is cut a paste. He is really helpful. You can definitly get a B even if you fail all the tests.

Lab is key-read lab before class and take a quick quiz. Never went to class. Tests are weird--failed them all but still got a B. The final is so simple (its all the old tests!) Just read your old tests for the finals(but get the right answers first!)

Nice old man. Boring as hell but nice. Material is easy and so are the exams. Never payed attention in lectures or discussion never read the book and still got a C on the test. Go to lab and discussion and you'll be fine.

One of the most helpful professors if you seek it. He's always willing to do a one-on-one review session, which is awesome considering he has almost 400 students. The info can be tricky if you don't pay attention, but go to labs and discussions and you'll be fine. He's the coolest old guy i know.

If anyone has taken high school physics and did somewhat decent will get atleast a B in this class. He treats everyone like his grandkids. You get 5 extra points on every exam if you can bubble in your name, social security #, and discussion section. I HIGHLY recommend taking Boothy.

WAY too much work for a 100-level class.. boring lectures, TAs don't speak English, lab is completely and utterly useless, and the exams aren't worth studying for because nothing you study will be on them. pick another group d lab, kiddies!

Do not take this class. No matter how much time you put into studying, you will not do well. Between the reading, exercises, discussion, and labs this class took up all of my time. The teacher is very helpful if you go see him and there is a good curve, but overall, its not worth it.

He was a great teacher and is a nice guy. I had never had any experiences with the material before and didn't have to study that hard for the tests. If you go to class life will be so much easier. Just beware of his T.A.'s all are foreigners and only a couple can speak English proficiently.

Take at your own risk! Study the captions and any other fine print in the book! Chances are you won't do well anyway! WAY too hard for a 101!

Dr. Booth was such a great teacher. He is the sweetest and nicest guy. I wish he was my grandpa. defenitly go to lab and discussion, it raises your grade ALOT, even though the TAs are kinda bad.

Dr. Booth is a very nice guy. I fell asleep in a few classes, but not all the material was bad. Many poeple are complaining, but in my section of 200+ people, avg of 50 pple a day. GO TO CLASS! It helps so much. He has 10 t/f ?s (2pts) on a 30 question exam (other 20 =4pts). 5EC pts offered eachtest

overall pretty easy course. Just go to class, lab, and discussion and you will get a B or better. Hard not to do worse. The fastest way to do bad is not go to discussion or lab.

He gives u ur exams on a silver platter basically The t/f ?s come straight from the checkpts in the book and the mc is off of the practice exams and the problems in the book. Labs are easy and discussion help bring up your grade if you just show up.Booth was very fair and made a lot of jokes in lect

Class is boring, you really don't need to go to the lectures No one does, there not that helpful. READ on your own. With lab/disscussion you'll be fine. He curves everything even the final (and I think final grade as well) I stopped going to lecture in 6 weeks in, failled 2 exams and still got a B.

I really really enjoyed his class. I barely did any of the readings but always did well on the exams and ended up with an A. I had never taken any physics or anything before. If you just go to class and pay attention you'll be fine. Prof Booth was soo nice. I loved him!

He was a great professor n a really nice guy. He def treated the class as if we were his grandkids. He is a really easy A-B. His final is copy n paste n even tho exams can be tricky theyre all multiple choice and theyre all curved. Just go to class n do the homework u will be fine.

Really, really, really boring...but not that hard. you don't need to go class, it really doesn't help. this years final was not cut and paste totally, don't be tricked. some of the questions were the same but with numbers changed. the labs are really easy. you can't take this class as a p/f but you only need a 54 to pass it

Exams test for your understanding of the concepts, not memorization of materials, so you must know your stuff. Lecture quizzes come from chapter exercises and problems so if you do them you'll be fine. Lab quizes aren't hard either since you're allowed to use a lab notebook. Overall a great professor with somewhat difficult exams for a 101 class.

He gives you a sample test, and really, the test has the same questions, some of them with different numbers. The final is just questions from all the tests put together Sometimes he has a hard time understanding your questions, but once he gets it, he usually explains it pretty well.

Teacher is a joke! He doesnt teach well but helps out well. Exams questions are chapter checkpoints. Final is copy & paste from prev. 3 exams. Class is easy but HARD to take serious!

although booth can be a bit boring sometimes, i would definitely recommend this class. if you put a little time into it it's an easy A. highly recommended to read the textbook and make sure you understand the problems. this class really is not very difficult at all. tests are 10 T F 10 multiple choice and 10 problems.

People saying this is a terrible class are just ppl who wanted a do-nothing easy A. THIS CLASS IS EASY, you just have to care a little. I never read textbook, I never did homework, just went to all labs/disc and went thru the problems/exercises in the text (that he gives you the answers to). Exam is 90% straight from those probs. Take if you CARE
