He is the Best professor I ever had since High School! The course wasn't easy, but he made it VERY understandable and simple. It's sad that this class ended. I'll miss it. It was fun to be there.

one of my favorite teachers!! he is very personable and silly.. he has a lot of experience in the medical field and i loved hearing all of his stories... powerpoints are straight forward..tests were not bad either... so nice and will help you if you have any questions.. you will definately stay awake in class... and hes pretty cute too!!

pRepared me for 1552 and nursing school, and was 100% on the mark with test-lecture correlation. used textbook alot--so got my money's worth and more--he is hilarious. excellent. take him if u wanna learn

Top quality study guides and tests graded fairly. I learned all the objctives & more. Stays on book 90%. Absent students asked 4da study guides they missed -and he accommodated. Well organized: Emails powerpoints,too. He works hard to teach and works hard too please da rotten ones: usu teaches FAR beyond the book making it fun&uses WWW when needed

Study guides are excellent. (That is all I needed.) First test was WAY too hard but the rest were okay. Got better each time. Used books just the right ammount. Definitely knows 98% of the material inside out. Pleasant person.

he is great!!! one of my fav. teachers ever! he keeps your attention, and if he doesnt know the answer he will tell you strait out and then fing out for you. he gives you study guides and lecture notes. very helpful!

BEST TEACHER EVER!!! You have to work for an A but Dr.Darkarian gives you all possibilities to get one. A&P2 is a very hard in depth class but with him you feel comfortable and you actually learn something! He makes class interesting!! Make him clarify his tests though they can be tricky but he gives you extra points!!! A+++ for him!!!

Chuck is probably my favorite professor at COD (besides Bolyanatz). Hes absolutely the hilarious, laid back, and caring teacher i have met. He will go out of his way to help you with any questions and he provides lots of materials to help you study. Hes pretty laid back with attendance and he creates an easygoing environment to learn in.

He is probably one of the best teacher I have ever had! very helpful, and you learn ALOT from being in his class, about the material and real life medical experiences. I recommend him to everyone!

He is a good teacher, but his lectures are disjointed. His thoughts are all over the board, but that keeps your attention. He supplies lots of power points and notes you can print as well as helpful study guides. If you study, you will do well in his class.

This teacher is amazing. He is very consciencious and explains exactly what he excepts of his students. He is always there to help. I would advise anybody willing to learn and excel definitly enroll in this teachers class. Awesome guy- he is hysterical!!! Only the slow student would ever say anything negative about him... there WE said it!

Excellent teacher. I just finished A&P1 (1571) (Spring 09). Unfortunately he wasn't offered to teach A&P2 1572 in Fall, and I can't imagine taking it without him. Attend class, do your work, and you will go far. I got an A, but I did work for it.

He is the best teacher I have had at COD. This is already a hard class and he makes it easier. He teaches you at the level you need to be taught and does it so clearly and well The class also goes my really fast and he is very understandable about everything. I wish that he was teaching 1572.His powerpoints that he posts on blackboard helps so much

Took Summer 09 as a condensed class. He covered a ton of material but stayed focus and on track in short period of time. Slides and hands on helpful. Class attendance a must to keep up. Study guides and reviews are great! He's a great Prof - available and sincere. You have to make the effort. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

Great teacher. I wanted to take him for A & P 2 but it filled up. His tests are hard but if you study you will do good. He cares about the students and is willing to help after class.

If you are here and reading this take him register RIGHT NOW with him. You do need to study it's A&P we are talking about, but he is one of the best teachers at COD I garantee you, I took A&B before with other teachers I had to retake it again and I got and A with him. He is so clear, he knows his stuff, and grades fairly. TAKE HIMMMM

This is an awesome prof. He made a&p fun and down to earth. He gave xtra credit often. You can get an A with no problem if you put in at least 70% effort. Register now his class fills quick.

He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He cares about his students and wants them to get good grades. He is hilarious and made me laugh all during class. Tests are hard but he works with his students and if you study you will do good. I love him :o) and I'm telling you now sign up for his class you will not regret it :o)

Chuck is the best!He truly cares about his students getting a good grade and learning something.While staying on topic,he informs about the different diseases that are related to the systems in the body in which you are learning about.Gives extra credit and explains material well.Very helpful.I honestly barely used the large txt book. GET LAB BOOK.

BEST TEACHER IVE EVER HAD! Gives you old tests to study from, has a quiz every friday and gives your the exact material that will be on it. He keeps class fun, lots of points offered I got an A in the class and Im not a person that studies very much! I recommend him to everyone!

I took A & P I with Dr. Dakarian, MD. Dr.Dakarian has an excellent balance of both seriousness and humor. He makes a tedious subject tolerable. I am in PA school now and my anatomy course was a breeze because Dr. Dakarian knew what to focus on. He is an excellent instructor. He will do his part if you do your's.

The professor's lectures are really interesting. He gives real life examples/short stories pertaining to the topic you're learning. Also, he's clear on the what's going to be on the quiz and exams. He's really nice. Definitely recommended.

This teacher was the best! He was super helpful and he explained things perfectly and told us exactly what was going to be on the tests. He is a very nice guy and makes class fun! I suggest you come to every class but he doesn't take attendance. TAKE HIM FOR A and P and you will not be sorry.

Chuck is frickin' hilarious! He relates his clinical knowledge and personal experience in almost everything we learn. He is understanding, a fair grader, makes it very clear what's going to be on the test and very easy going. I HIGHLY recommend Chuck for your A&P class...or any class for that matter! Chuck is a diamond in the rough!!

Mr. Dakarian is a really good teacher. You will have to try for this class and its not an easy one but it is doable. His tests are multiple choice questions, essays and identification. Good luck!

He didn't just teach the textbook, he taught you stuff that you're going to remember in nursing school. He connects the material to his experience from being a MD. Test questions are based on applied physiology - not just stuff out the text. But this is better because it makes you and learn to apply the concept to real life. He is amazing!

Very clear, explained in such a way that you will remember. Very funny and a great personality. I do not regret picking him.

Definately top 10 of the Teachers I have had. He is an M.D. so his lectures are practical. His lectures may seem to go off on tangents but that is just his was of trying to get you to remember,it works if you listen with intrest. Smart, fair,hardworking to his students,strong(anti-cheat)policy, even easy on the eyes. Grade is mostly test based.A+++

Professor Dakarian made this class easy and every day I was excited to go to class! I thought I would fall asleep (6 hour classes in the summer) and not once did I even come close. He has a lot of stories but relates them to the topic which makes you understand better. I wish he was teaching the second A&P2! :(

OMG! I loved this teacher. He has no issues helping people out. He spent whatever time needed to personally help anyone! He gets back to you ASAP and is an overall amazing teacher. I LOVE HIS CLASS! Best teacher ever!! I didn't like him at first, his teaching style isn't what I was used to. I didn't think I was learning anything, I hardly took notes at first. He's sort of all over the place but he tells you what you need to know for the tests. Stick it out until the first test and I'm sure you'll love him too. He also has great stories!

chuck is AWESOME. i took him for AP 1&2. i lucked out so hard, all i hear are horror stories about other teachers. this guy is friendly, intelligent, clear, concise, and tells you EXACTLY what you need to know. he even helped us come up with phonetic tricks to help memorize the tricky stuff. i can't stress enough how much you will love this guy.

I first found Dr. D through this site. I was prepared to do the work & expecting a difficult-strict instructor. But so far the class is a breeze. Yes you have to put in the work, but if you show up & take interest you WILL LEARN! Chuck Dakarian cares about his students' grades, will make learning not a task but "fun". Most fun, engaging, entertaining professor I've ever had. I was scared to take this class but he made it fun and easy to understand. I never studied and got an A. I took this instructor for Anatomy and Physiology I at Waubonsee and Im super bummed that he doesnt teach A&PII, I would surely have taken him again. He makes class fun and interesting, keeps class engaged, passionate about the subject and also uses mnemonics to help you remember things. Enjoyed his class, two thumbs up for sure! :)

EXTREMELY funny, his lectures are kind of all over the place but it helps you learn how to handle different teaching styles, life is not always set up like a classroom. This subject is hard so he does his best to help you learn all the material. Willing to give you e.c. and as much help as possible. VERY smart guy. Take him. need to study!

Dr. Dakarian is one of the BEST professors at COD. AP1552 is not easy subject, but he makes it somehow easy, understandable and fun. His lectures are real gems!!! I wish he would teach Pathophysiology in Nursing!!!

Mr. Dakarian was a wonderful teacher, he has so much knowledge on not only what he teaches but real world issues and addresses them. His lectures are so fun to attend and he really makes you want to learn. His teaching style is different but he does make you learn. Tests are fairly easy and he is just a great guy.

Dr. Chuck is the best ANAT teacher ever. I wish that he should teach each subject so that we can get him as a professor. He makes anatomy so much fun and it makes us easy to understand. He gives so many examples by which we can understand easily. He gives so many extra credits. He also gives papers and it helped a lot in exam. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

one of the best! ANT. is not an easy class but he makes he seem entertaining. He gives alot of extra credit so take advantage of it because it's big points and its really easy, just don't be lazy. He really does try to help you, he does videos of what you have to learn for the lab. He has a good dry sense of humor. My class agrees, will take again!

He is an AMAZING Teacher! This is a very hard class but he makes it much easier. He will drop your lowest test and let you retake any tests or quizzes if you get a low grade. He is very understanding and does not want you to fail. If you study his study guides you will pass without a problem! He does get off of topic a lot though....

Dr. Dakarian is by far the best Professor at College of DuPage. He brings real world examples to the classroom, and explains thoroughly. A major plus is his humor! Further, you will leave this class with a great deal of knowledge ! # Artificial Sweeteners ( You will come to learn about this)

I took Professor Dakarian during the summer of 2018 and so it was an 8 week class instead of a 16 week. And honestly, he made this class easy and fun! He used a lot of examples and would help you if needed it/seek help. He gives a lot of guides and tips to be prepared for the exams! 10/10 would recommend taking him!

Dr. Dakarian is a very passionate and knowledgeable professor! His expectations were a little foggy but still an overall easy class. Test were based heavily on previous tests he has given other semesters, sometimes verbatim. He can be a little scatter brained and more of a stand up comedian at times but made for an entertaining class!

This professor has really grown on me. He can be somewhat disorganized and half the time you may not understand what is going on in the class. But with that said, he is a really nice professor who goes above and beyond to help his students succeed in the course. You do have to work for the grade you want which includes studying. It is Anatomy.

Dr. Dakarian made this class really fun and is always cracking funny jokes. He will help you if you need it and provides study guides for each exam. One of the best professors at COD!

If there was a higher rating I'd give it to Dr. D. What an amazing teacher he is! I really looked forward every morning to go to class, and for sure he made my day by cracking his jokes. Very easy grader, tons of EC, and gives study guides for tests and exams. Just make sure you study the guides and you'll get your A. He's one of a kind! COD best!

I'm guessing he's better at teaching on-site classes as most professors are, but yeah overall he's a really good teacher and I wish I got the chance to take him on-site face to face, but oh well. Most of the grade depends on HW which is a good thing, plus he's funny

Such a sweet teacher!! You can tell her really cares about his students. Hes very understanding of missing homework. Gives you lots of time to complete your homework and any other assignments. So glad I took him this year!

One of my favorite professors so far. Very understanding and always wants to make sure every one of his students pass. He has due dates but if you are in contact with him and have an issue, he will always work around you. One of your lowest quiz grades will be dropped, youll almost always get an A on quizzes and tests tho.

u can tell he loves what he teaches bc of how passionate he is. He's v accommodating in terms of due dates, his exams are exactly what we learn in class, and he makes u love learning abt the material. Also, really funny/entertaining guy. In our class, the extra credit was naming the anatomy and phys on a mannequin. I got like 50 points extra.

He was super sweet. You can tell he wants to make his students pass. Gives no homework. Pay attention on the lectures bc that's what will be on the test. On text days we would study for half of the class and take the test for the other half of the time. Would recommend, love his class and his style of teaching!

Honestly the best professor ever! He will make sure to teach exactly what will be on the test but you have to pay attention and study. He will give you all the resources you need so there is no excuse not to pass his class. He cares for his students and wants to see them succeed, you just gotta meet him half way.

Extremely lenient grader, class is almost too easy. He is extremely funny, gives a ton of information. Lecture can lack structure, quizzes and test are easy if you put in the work, gives extra credit. If you want to see the cadavers, or learn A+P maybe take another professor. His class is way too easy if you study a little bit, he has study guides.

Dr. Dakarian is an amazing professor! He's also an Internal Medicine doctor. The course was challenging but fair with 4 lecture+lab, 5WILEY, 5lab pages for every unit, and 15 quizzes (but only the best 10 count). He genuinely wants his students to succeed. He's always willing to answer questions and provides lots of helpful resources

You have to take Dr. Dakarian for A & P. One of the best professors, very knowledgeable and caring. Even though I started class a week late, I was able to catch up. Pay attention in class and memorize at home, and you'll be fine.
