Dr. Feldstein is AMAZING!! He is super easy and is the sweetest guy EVER! Got a 105% in ENC1101 (easiest class in my life) and like a 91% in LIT2000... what can I say some of the short stories were a lil boring...just do the notebook in the class and you'll get an "A". Would so take him again if I could!

Mr. Feldstein is cool. He is a bit of a filabusterer in that he can't stay on the subject. We talked about commas for 5 weeks. It's a bit ridiculous. Although it is a drag, he will teach you things that are important that you never knew. You will improve your writing very much for ENC1102. Personally, I would not take him again. He eats my time.

If you definitely want to get an A while having some fun take Dr. Feldstein. The first class or two he'll act like a hard a.ss but he's really cool. I'm going to take him for LIT2000. He's funny and nice. He's a must have teacher!

Dr. Felstein is a cool professor..he is great if you're coming strait out of high school! He has a bit of an odd sense of humor though, but it is good to take someone who will joke around with you! I'd take him for ENC 1101 again. He is fairly easy as long as you do your writings.(all but one are in class)

I hated English but he was really good. I made a B and I didn't put much effort into his class at all. The entire semester we only wrote about 5 paper and then we had a research paper, but it was a group project. I recommend his class he is great.

As far as learning LIT, forget it, but if you want to become a much better writer, I DEFINITELY recommend him!!! He knows his stuff and is more than willing to help you. His sense of humor is witty and he is a nice man. Take him!

Dr. Feldstein is an enthusiastic professor with a good sense of humor. He really can sharpen up your grammar during this class; taking it corrected several bad writing habits of mine - which was a huge help for enc1102. If Dr. Feldstein had been teaching 1102 this semester, I'd have taken him again without a doubt.

Dr. Feildstein is one of the best english teachers i have had yet. He is entertaining and willing to help ANYONE who asks for it. He makes sure that you understand the material and will go over as many times as needed. I wasn't that great of a writer, and turned me into an A writer! LOVE HIM... Fantastic english teacher. Very personable, good sense of humor in class. Must attend class, grade will be dropped if you miss more than the alloted days. Very helpful, very clear with assignments. Critiques papers and lets you fix them before they're due. If you love english he will make you a better writer. An asset to any college!

I'm just finishing his class this week. He is very helpful and seems to genuinely care if you pass or fail and he definitely wants you to learn the subject. His humor also makes the class more interesting. Imo, he's one of the best around.

On the real, he is mad cool. Papers were one page, 14 font. Total of 5 or 6 papers? He stresses about grammar, but he helps you many times to correct your paper till its graded. Poems were really interesting, esp. when he read them. He is awesome. He will surely be missed.

Feldstein Rocks! He is the greatest out there. Just come to class and u will pass. Little classwork and no homework. There is maybe three writing assignments, and one group research paper which is totally easy. The class time goes by fast due to the many of jokes he tell. Remember commas are for cool people!

He is super quirky but it grew on me and I really liked him. You have to write a lot of papers but its okay if you aren't a good writer or don't like it. Just get it over with, you'll get credit and he'll make you better. Take him, it's an easy A and it will end up being one of the classes in your schedule that you can actually bear.

Excellent professor. You learn a lot about the proper grammatical structure of a paper (he'll revise your paper prior to turning it in) & if you're not getting the grade you aimed for on his papers, he offers a TON of extra credit. Whether you love to write or writing is not your strong point, this is your class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

He was a great professor. Gives you extra credit opportunities. It's hard to not get an A. He helps you with everything you write, and most papers are short and in class. We had homework one time, and he never checked it. I highly recommend taking him. You get extra points for going to every class, and lose points for missing more than 2.

Professor has a very dry humor that I found kind of offensive. Emailed him once to say I couldnt go to one class, and he called me back to critique my 3 sentence email and basically yell at me over the phone. Gave me a C- on a paper that even other professors thought was at least a B. But overall good TEACHER if you can handle his rude personality.

I found Dr. Feldstein to be an interesting professor. He's one of those professors who's sense of humor you have to open up to. Overall, I enjoyed the class.

Super easy. He's an interesting man, albeit a total grammar nazi. EXTRA CREDIT. Like you wouldn't believe. Quizzes aren't detrimental, and most writing assignments aren't either. They count for extra credit. And the Feldstein scale? (A++, A+, A, A-, A--, B++...) Need I say more? He's great. Recommend.

Dr. Feldstein has a lot of teaching experience and it shows. He is very helpful and makes sure you understand everything. He is really rough on proper grammar and grades papers on tht only but he grades really easy wit a ++ + - -- scale. It's hard to stay awake it class but he is really funny if you listen to him. Overall, he was a good teacher.

Show up, do the grammar and vocab sheets in the communications lab, He tires to be funny but well that doesnt really work. He is an old man he loves to talk, and well if you have him or want to take him... SHOW UP do not miss more than 2 classes. Don't used comma splices!!!!

he is very helpful on proofreading papers and even stays after class to help. it was a bit of work but it was easy. he required to complete a lab outside of class, which i didn't do, that's why i think i got a B. but he's a good professor w/a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR i laughed so hard i cried a few times.

He is the best English teacher I have had since high school. If you have good attendance,you get extra credit. If you complete excercises in the communications lab,you get extra credit. 85% of the work is in class. Papers are not longer than 2-3 pages. He's very helpful and pretty funny! I'm taking his LIT2000 next semester!

Dr. Feldstein is a fantastic instructor. His grading is tough when it comes to written work. He gives every opportunity to succeed by going over papers before they are due so that corrections can be made; to include going over them on the day it is due and allow for corrections to be made in pen and still not have it affect the overall grade.

I hate English. It's one of my worst subjects, but Dr. Feldstein makes you understand English to the fullest extent. He is extremely helpful and reviews your paper as many times as possible to ensure you a good grade. He's not a rough grader, but does take grammar very seriously. He also gives a lot of extra credit that will help you in the future.

Fairly easy to pass. He has a lot of random tidbits that are interesting. I definitely enjoyed going to class considering I'm not good at english. The book helped me a lot, so I would definitely buy it. Some people shared books but it's easier if you have your own. A couple 1-2pg essays. Offers extra credit. I didn't do any EC and made a B.

Great professor, he makes sure you understand grammar in the beginning to prepare you for your later assignments. He will check your work as many times as you'd like before the assignment is due, and he offers credit at the beginning to ensure you pass. It's really hard to fail this class if you're doing everything.

He's pretty funny, but you need to learn how to write the way he writes in order to get a good grade. He is pretty helpful and will go over every paper. After going over papers with him, you strengthen your paper...therefore, getting a better grade.

He cares about his students showing up to class. It is not just a check for him. I learned things in this class I should have learned in 1101. He takes his time out to teach and not just hand out assignment. It is true, this class is an easy A. You just need to show up and do the work which is not hard. He is funny too. As every other review will prove, Dr. Feldstein is one of the best English teachers available. Take him if you have the chance. His grading is extremely lenient, and his efforts to teach you the subject manner are second to none. His character and personality are the real draws, though, as he has a sense of humor surpassing that of most comedians.
