this guy is not only difficult to understand but makes you feel like an idiot when you question him. He made my dislike for having to take algebra an absolute disgust. Hate him.

i would not recommend you taking him he doesn't teach you anything everything is mathlab and your teaching yourself. don't ask question he will not help you. the entire class time he would explain 4 problems on board that's it then tell us to work on mathlab. after 6 weeks he decided to pull down the projector screen for 10 minutes .

This guy is so freaking strict, If you're not willing to dedicate a lot of your personal time, DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Horrible!! The textbook and the HW were all different from the in class PPT so you had to learn how to do problems over again in a new way. He is very unorganized and kept putting off our tests causing us to fall behind. The tests are nothing like the PPT or the HW! He is rude and doesnt respond to emails. He barely teaches, you need the textbook.

The Professor is HORRIBLE, he doesn't answer your direct questions for help he says read the book or google it or look at the powerpoints which still doesn't help. Online Homework does not match what he teaches. Must complete all homework before test and homework must have 80 or higher to even take the test. Doesn't fully explain problems as well.

After a mnth of attending the 2015 Fall S I have learned entirely on my own with the help of the mandatory online hmk I can agree with all of the pre entries, that this pro is not willing to help He continuously says if you don't understand review the text google your problem The class was not allowed to test due to incompleted hmwk

He is horrible. If you care about your GPA do not take this man. He called me on my cell phone when I reported him to the Math chair. He is not helpful and admits Math should not be taken online. For that reason he tries to make the students suffer. You have been warned!!!!!!

I don't know who these ratings below are about but Mr. Gabi is NOT A GOOD TEACHER!!! he does not teach he sends you home to do loads of homework in impossible deadlines. So basically you are self teaching. If you don't need help in math I guess this would be the class for you. For people that need assistance you will not get it here.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! I took his class online, but it was a mistake picking him. I had to drop. As I studied the power points with the book. His power points had the wrong answer on them!!! and he didn't mind to fix it. He is so lazy, does not contact back in time. Save your money go with someone else.

If you want to learn statistics, DO NOT take Charles Gabi. He is just a PowerPoint reader. If you ask him a question he will refer you to the textbook. But if you don't understand the teaching from the professor how can you understand the book. He doesn't make his explanations or example clear enough for you to understand. Worst I ever encountered

If you want an F or a D and not learn any material then just take this professor and you will achieve just that. The absolute worst. If there are any good remarks on his rating, trust me HE wrote them.

For me, he didn't help at all. He does have power points, but he believes that by him reading it you UNDERSTAND. He said if you don't understand talk to him after class. So, I did and nothing happen he basically said figure it out. I thought he was good at the beginning but NO. Don't fall for it.

You have to keep up with the hw to pass and get ready to do hw for over 50hrs. I did not like how unorganized his online class was - He stated in his syllabus that we would have 5pt extra credit opportunities for each test and we only had 1. You never knew what your grade for the class was and we never had access to any of the practice tests posted

Worst professor Ever! Do not take him at all for any of the class. I took his class online, he never explained a single lesson, wants everyone to learn on mymathlab. Test Reviews are not helpful at all so please save your money and choose a good teacher. He is not reachable and never replies to a single email. WORST, WORST, WORST Professor ever!!

If you can, avoid taking this professor. I took this class online for the summer and it was horrible. He doesnt respond back to messages or engage in the class that much. He also changes dates on assignments randomly so beware of that.

REVIEWSareTEST, EXCEPT FOR FINAL. Syllabus is ONLY correct about when the test are. ALL HE DID was give us access to ConnectMath and open up the test. Site's great, its a lot of content & the questions there are similar to the test. Plus its all due on the same day, DOIT. terrible professor you have to make a 80 on each homework assignment on connect math or he will not let you take the test he is very lazy and he expects you to understand just because he understands the test is online the reveiws doesnt really help much if you take this class be prepared to self teach.

If you are thinking about taking this professor don't do it, he does not engage in the class. Its hard when you have to be guessing whats next he doesn't use the calendar for due dates, he gave us a review two days before the test. The first two weeks of the class we didn't hear from him.

I wish I could say something positive but I honestly have nothing. Took forever to respond to emails. Nothing was clear in the syllabus or provided any kind of feedback when questions were asked. A project was pulled out of the blue the last week of class. I would recommend you find a different professor.

I NEVER rate a professor, but I will today. This professor is terrible. There is no organization and last minute assignments are going to happen. He did not even take the time to update any dates on canvas and his syllabus. The syllabus was out of date. You had to wait for him to post when something was due. Will never take him again!

Gabi is a really unorganized professor. He does not update the due dates on canvas and the ones in the syllabus are wrong. He gave one last assignment without informing us and since it was not under the "assignments" there was no notification for it. The review for the final is NOT at all like the exam, so good luck on knowing what to study.

For your own sake, DO NOT TAKE HIM. Does NOT EVER responds to emails. He only cares about his teacher feedbacks. 4 Tests, the second one was on campus, final exam was just nothing like the review. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! It may seem a lot but it really helps. And lastly, if you take him, good luck y'all.

I got my grade because of beyond hard work, I taught myself basically. If you're really good at math, this is not the class for you RUN! you will feel confused and lost. If math isn't your favorite subject and you have no other option, advice from me take the course next semester with other options. I feel bad but I have warn you for the GPA's sake

This was the worst professor I have ever had. Be prepared to teach yourself the material and do lots of hw. He thinks just by giving us PowerPoints we will automatically understand. He never replies to emails and doesnt even bother changing the dates on canvas. If you can avoid him, please do. If you have no choice but to take him, good luck!

I dropped his class, so this may be innacurate for the whole year. The HW is mostly videos that do nothing to help you learn, while also having innacurate due dates. His lessons involve him not helping anyone, while also getting upset because he doesn't know how to use MS paint properly, and is using his mouse to draw the problems. Not worth it

This professor gives you a surprise project 3 days before it's due. It's not even part of math, you have to provide a 10 min video of you teaching a classroom by using the government based lesson plan. This is not even included in the syllabus.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER !!!! DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I emailed him because my whole family had covid to give me a day to finish a test. Ignored my email and failed me. This is my 2nd time taking him and he failed me. I took another professor and got an A. He doesnt care! Also very rude . Does not deserve to be an educator!

I am currently taking this class, he makes things very difficult and he can be very rude. Ive never struggled this much in a math class.

Class was hard and he hardly replies email.

If you don't finish required homework on time you will not be able to take the ch. test. If you don't participate in class you will be marked absent, Be prepared to teach yourself, If you have questions they have to be relevant enough to get a response If you need help his only advise is to go back and read the ch. it's definitely language barrier.

This was by far the worse class and it is because of the professor. He teaches you one thing and tests you on the opposite. Do not expect help from him, all he will say is to "go find tutoring." He is very unhelpful. If you dont understand he will get upset and fail you. All of my homework was a 100 and he still failed me with a 55. Worst ever.

He was awful. He never posted any announcements on Canvas, he graded an assignment and never responded when I asked a question. The class itself wasn't bad but I had to teach myself everything because he never posted a lecture or offered any help or easy ways to get in touch with him.

He makes you fail. He made us take a quiz on a chapter he failed to cover. He doesn't know how to spell and yelled at us for not helping him spell " Los Angeles." When he literally never helps us and tells us he doesn't care that we're struggling and to "pay better attention next time." How can we when he's forgetting chapters?

If you want to pass do not take this professor he does not answer emails nor calls, he doesn't help in anyway form or fashion, ho doesn't teach, you are actually on your own me the whole class did not like this professor, I don't know why and or how he is still teaching, worse professor ever.

I repeat do not take this course with this professor. It is so hard to understand him and he is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this class with this professor.

Professor was very hard to communicate with and extremely disorganized. We had assignment due dates unavailable and we weren't able to make them up. I have never been so disappointed in a professor before but this was ridiculous. I would not recommend this class, at all.

Crammed us students with assignments the week before class ends. Chap 8,9 and 10, PLUS assignments he added. Stressful. Learned in the beginning then went downhill. Tough grader, you take a test once and if its a bad grade, U ARE COOKED. Can be a good professor if he were more patient and extented grace to students

Most STRESSFUL class experience ever! Professor Gabi was rude and inpatient towards us students on multiple occasions but always said, "Don't be afraid to ask questions!" He was reluctant to extend us grace when we didn't understand topics, and was VERY unorganized with the course. Didn't explain topics well, so you basically self teach. Avoid!

Just take that W or swap immediately. I was bamboozled into taking his class, I chose another professor, but they changed to him last minute. He's extremely unorganized and frustrating, don't do it ya'll.

10/10 would NOT recommend. He usually says don't be afraid to ask for help, yet when you do, he seems to get irritated and makes you question why you don't understand. Be ready to do assignments in every class, and have lots of miscommunication and misunderstandings too. He's rude, inconsistent and not what you look for in a college professor.

Very unorganized course. Assignment instructions and due dates were changed last minute, communication was poor and never response. Minimal instruction was provided, so we teach ourselves. I would NOT recommend this class, protect your GPA and avoid unnecessary stress. He is by far the worst professor EVER!
