Dr. Jeffreys is very fun to listen to in class and smart - that I cannot deny. However, I really had a hard time in his class. I didn't cleary know my scores clearly & you'll only know your grade if you go ask him because he was still working on learning Canvas. The tests were heavy too. But he was nice to let me do a pres. for extra credit.

Professor Jeffrys has great energy, and is very passionate about Psychology. He lectures straight from the book, with the addition of extremely outdated videos. He does not take attendance, so being present isn't mandatory as long as you keep up with the reading and show up for the tests. Tests every 2 weeks, no homework, and no grades on canvas.

He is a very intelligent and great person. Be ready if you are a person who likes to organize and plans everything. He might wonder you, very unpredictable person, but nice and kind. So, his online class is very organic, he might change everything at the last minute.

Quizzes were formatted and worded horribly in that the wording was vague and confusing, questions would be repeated, and it seemed as if he typed everything up last-minute. Content was outdated, with videos/lectures having no transcripts/captioning, PowerPoints were also subpar. Never replied to any email I sent out either.

Theres a test every other week and the questions can be quite confusing due to his wording. As long as you read the textbook and do the weekly writing assignment then youre fine. I never watched the lectures and still passed just by reading the book! Its a straightforward class.

Take notes, lots of them. I passed but if you ask me to even mention one of the concepts I couldn't. Nevertheless, he is a nice guy and genuinely cares for his students. He wants his students to excel. Professor Jeffreys is a nice teacher, but I wouldn't take his class again.

Charles is an amazing teacher, and I would very much recommend him for an easy and laid-back class. 1 assignment per week and its usually a quiz or essay, which can be completed in less than 1 hour. Only thing negative I would say is that he is not Canvas savvy, and that his assignments are posted on fridays, so you have to do them over the weekend
