He is a GREAT teacher from what I have seen so far!

He is a great teacher! Before each test, he gives you a practice test with answers. The practice tests are pretty much the same as the actual tests. Very easy going and ALWAYS willing to help. He extends the deadlines for homework and gives extra credit opporunities!

He is sort of scatter brained and hard to keep up with. Nice guy, I recommend if you are not very good at math not to take him.

He is so funny, yes a little scattered brained at times but i would recommend him. The tests are exactly what you do in class and he is always willing to help. I would take him again if I could!

I would recommend him. He was very easy going and always willing to help. His class was not very hard at all and his practice tests go right along with the test. He only tests over things he shows in class.

Best math prof. I've ever had. I suck at math and might even get an A for his class. He's fun and interesting and U can tell he loves his job. His tests can be a bit long and U might get pushed for time but their fair. Go everyday and do the homework and all will be good with him.

Take him, you won't regret it. He's helpful, and does a great job teaching. He makes sure you understand the material.

So nice. I would recommend taking him. He is so helpful and responds to any questions you have via email. He is willing to do whatever it takes for you to understand the material.

He's such a sweet older man. I dont see how anyone could say anything negative about him. He's so enthusiastica bout his job, he explains things so well and makes sure everyone is clear on it before he moves on. His test are long, but he gives you a review sheet so you can be prepared and will always be there to answe questions. Take him!!

I loved his class!!! There are 3 projects. Very thorough in teaching. I made an A, so it shouldn't be that hard....

I'm not quite finished with this class yet, but I'm going to get a solid B. I SUCK at math. He explains everything so clearly and makes funny little jokes to keep your attention. If you're not good at math, take him!! He will make sure you understand the concepts!!! I'm so glad I got into this class.

He is so helpful and makes corny jokes but they make you laugh. He's always there to answer questions and the tests are easy!

TAKE HIM!!! One of the best professors I've ever had. SO nice and incredibly helpful. The class is so easy.. daily quizzes but we can ask him questions and work with other people. A good amount of homework but that just means more grades so I didn't mind it. I highly recommend him!

I would definetly reccommend him. He tries his best to make sure you understand. If your good at math you'll get an A with no problem. He does take attendance and gives out exit problems most of the time that count towrds your grade. His tests are almost identical to the study guide so just do that and you'll do good on the tests.

He has an amazing talent for explaining math in a way that is easily understoon. He's a gifted, and patient teacher.

He's very good at starting you from the basics if you have no idea what you're doing. He also really LOVES teaching math and adds his personality to it-- all of his powerpoints have cute little animated pictures that he's just so proud of, and you can't help but laugh.

Take him! He is so good at explaining things and refreshing memories! He understands that we have a life outside of school and gives minimal homework! A very nice guy too!

I've never been good at math but he has been so helpful. He's an amazing teacher. Hw in book and online, but not hard if you pay attention in class. Gives exit tickets (quizzes) sometimes but lets you ask him questions and work with other people. His practice tests are almost exactly like his exams, so do them. If you suck at math TAKE HIM!

Very easy class. If you could pass algebra in high school, this class will be a breeze. Koppelman is a really good teacher. He explains everything well and in depth and gives good study guides. I made A's on all the tests thus far and studied the morning of usually.

Made an otherwise blah class an absolute joy. I took the class with my husband (who hadn't had a math class in over 6 years) and we both made A's. He's very fun, extremely clear and very helpful. I really enjoyed his class.

Great Professor. Made everything crystal clear. His tests are pretty much the same as the study guide, which he gives you a week in advance and then teaches you the answers in the following class. :) Great at keeping the class involved. TAkE HIM.

Very entertaining and helpful! You can tell he loves teaching. Math is not my strongest subject but I enjoyed going to his class and found the tests easy. He does everything he can to relate the subject matter to everyday life and get a good laugh. I highly recommend him!

TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU ARE HORRIBLE AT MATH LIKE ME! Even if you don't understand, he WILL help you. Just ask! Very nice nice too. He tries really hard to make it interesting. His tests are pretty much exactly like his practice tests that he gives out a week before the test. So easy.

K-man is a great teacher who is passionate about what he does. He relates everything to real world scenarios. He will help with any problem. He does get frustrated with people who do not ask questions and make stupid mistakes because of it. He will help you pass and give a few laughs along the way.

Mr. Koppleman is great. The fact that he gives the study guide out so far in advance, and that his tests are almost exactly like it helps a lot. He has a lot of energy, and tries very hard to connect with each individual. If you act like an adult, he treats you with the utmost respect.

Definitely take him! He gives you a study guide that is pretty much identical to the test and he really cares about his students and subject. The only thing is, he's really particular about how you word your answers. Other than that, I would definitely recommend him, especially if you're bad at math.

Loves math. Gets way too excited about it. You don't turn in homework until the day of every test. But he gives you the even number homework problems, odd answers are in book. Practice test handed out before each test. Very easy teacher if you come to class and be attentive. His eye twitches which is distracting the first week or two.

Mr.K is awesome. He is very friendly and loves what he does. He makes sure everyone understands a topic before he moves on. He makes complex math problems very simple and relates everything to real world examples. He has a good sense of humor and is always willing to help. If you suck at math, take Kman!

I have not had a math class since dinosaurs roamed the earth and even then I barely made a passing grade. Mr. K is AWESOME. He makes this math easy to understand. Sit on the first row, ask as many questions as you want, go to the extra math labs he offers and you will be fine. He's funny too. You'll love him. Promise.

Probably the easiest class I have ever taken in my whole life. Didn't study at all for any of the tests and got high As on all of them. You have to go to class for the exit tickets and he gives really good examples. VERY easy! TAKE HIM!

He is an awesome professor! I wish they let him teach higher level courses so I could take him AGAIN! He gives study guides for EVERY test except the final but those are just like the other tests. His tests are exactly like the study guides. I loved this class, it was an easy A especially since the final project is SUPER easy!

This guy was my favorite teacher last semester because he was hilarious. He's Jewish so you get all of the random Hebrew holidays off of class. Pay attention, if you don't you will sink. Do the homework and make sure you get good partners for the final group project.

He's the nicest professor I've ever had, math or otherwise. The class is a JOKE. And I've always been bad at math. It's ridiculously easy and he's an awesome teacher. He'll do anything to help you. I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you're not a math person.

I hated math before this man. I couldnt even get an A in highschool math and I got an A in this class- TAKE HIM!!! He is AWESOME!!!!!!

Koppelman is my favorite professor ever. He's VERY VERY thorough with his teaching so he makes for an excellent math professor. He makes sure everyone understands the lessons. Exit tickets are a buzz kill. Curves online HW. The practice tests are basically the tests just with different numbers. Absolutely would take again in a heartbeat!!

He is really helpful and puts everything on Power Points, which is step-by-step. He also posts his Power Points online if you happen to be absent. Great teacher for a college math class.

He is really funny and if you don't understand anything, he will explain until you do. Don't be afraid to ask questions or use Supplemental Instruction. He makes math easy to understand and I am not very good at math.

He is hilarious! The material is very easy to understand in this class and he is very thorough in explaining. I hate math, but he makes it a lot better... Take this class! :)

BEST DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE. Everything this man does it to clarify material, and make life easier for you. He gives little quizzes at the end of most class days to help boost you points, always gives practice tests that are basically the same as the tests, powerpoints are so clear and he offers all the help you could want! AMAZING

He was a great teacher , very corny , but you actually do learn and its very easy to pass ! He gives exit tickets at the end of class so you should definitely go but he loves his job and he loves math !

He is funny in the cheesy way I prefer! He knows his stuff and explains thoroughly. I was never great at math, but he has made me understand it in a way other math teachers could never do. I think he's a miracle sent by the math gods. If you want an excellent professor, get Koppelman!

Professor Koppelman was one of the most helpful teachers I've had at KSU. I've had bad experiences with Math but he makes this course very easy to understand. It turned out to be my favorite class. Plus, attendance is not mandatory! I highly recommend this class!

AMAZING TEACHER! I wish I could take him again! Really nice guy and extremely helpful. Makes in depth powerpoints so you can go home and review everything. Homework is mostly online and he gives a review for every test and goes over it in class. Really pasionate about teaching and making sure his students benefit from the class.

I'd take him again. It's three tests and a final exam. You have textbook homework and webassign homework, but only the online hw is graded. I never even opened my textbook. No quizzes, but you do get 2-5 question "exit tickets" that you turn in as you leave daily that review that day's lesson. Also one final group project. He posts all notes online

LOVED taking from Koppelman. I absolutely hate math, but he made it fun (yes, fun) and easy to get through. He is extremely helpful and fair.

Math is not my strongest subject, but Prof K does a wonderful job at explaining the material and offering additional help. Test reviews are awesome, and attendance is a must because of exit tickets. Best professor ever. Easy A!

LOVE HIM!! He uses real life situations that could occur instead of ridiculous word problems. Always there to help! Also the class has a SI ( supplemental instruction) tutoring twice a week, SUPER EASY. One group project

This man is the best math teacher I have ever had! He is very easy to understand and makes everything so simple! His tests are easy if you pay attention. GO TO CLASS! Great Professor! Explains everything very well and tries to make class as fun as he can. Class isn't mandatory, but if you miss you might get lost in the next class. Homework isn't bad and tests are easy if you study the practice test. Wish i could have this professor for all my math classes! Try to take him if you can! You won't regret it!

Koppelman made the class easy and enjoyable. I've attempted 1101 before but his class made it a breeze. He's really thorough and his examples made the material easy to understand. Homework is due before night before tests on Webassign. Rarely used the book since his power points/notes were more than enough.

AMAZING! Top 2 best professors I have had while at KSU. I loathe algebra and was terrified of taking it in college. He made it as easy as he could. Wasn't looking to trick us. He enjoys what he does and wants us to understand. KSU should have more professors like this man.

The grade this professor received is obviously a result of those who didn't bother to do the work. He is an exceptional instructor and deserves the respect he gives all his students.

Koppelman is passionate about what he does and want to see his students succeed. He is not trying to trick you or set you up for failure. Lectures are clear and the work was fairly easy. Lots of Webassigns that I suggest not waiting until last minute to get done. My favorite teacher so far at KSU.

I love this class because I can keep up even though I loathe math. He does a simple and straight-forward Powerpoint on every section and you have to take WebAssign quizzes for every section. You can try up to 6 or 7 times on a question for WebAssign and his Powerpoints are available online. He doesn't teach you anything you don't need to know.

Was the best math teacher I have ever had. Loves to teach and is passionate about subject. Knows what he is teaching and knows how to teach it in a way that is so clear and understandable. Wants you to learn but also to succeed in his class. If he was available for all the math courses I have to take I would definitely choose him again.

Professor Koppelman was probably the best math teacher I've ever had. He was very clear with describing how to do everything in the class and I never had any actual problems with him. The class as a whole was pretty easy anyway but Proffesor Koppelman made it a lot more fun and enjoyable. He assigns homework every class but its never graded.

You'd have to be a very unintelligent being to fail. Seriously. Koppelman is a cute little funny old man who knows his stuff. But here's the thing, I did say old. Which means that when you ask a question you HAVE to be clear or else he'll look at you funny & say "I don't know what you're saying." Study guides are JUST like tests!

I hate math, and he makes it so easy. He only tells you what you absolutely need to know, and he's got your back if he knows you're trying. If you sit in the front, he'll immediately respect you. Homework is daily, but he doesn't check it. Overall great teacher, and good person.

He makes everything really clear and easy. There are tests and then the online homework. That's it. Come to class and take notes, you'll pass no problem.

He is honestly the best math prof I have ever had! He is very helpful, ALWAYS willing to help. He basically runs around his room walking to everyone who has a question. Literally the best math teacher ever! He is so knowledgeable about what he is teaching and is very funny. I would take him every year if I could. He teaches exactly what you need to know for tests, and breaks everything down so it is super simple to understand. Definitely take him if you get a chance! You won't regret it. :)

He's one of the best math teachers I've ever had. He's enthusiastic and funny, and he makes everything clear and easy to understand. Practice tests prepare you for the real tests 100%. He is an adorable old man, so if you mutter an answer he will not hear you. He's great. Up until the end of the semester he doesn't take up homework.

I am terrible at math, and this is by far the easiest math class I have ever taken. Dr. Koppelman is such a sweet man, and it's obvious he really cares about student's while also knowing his material, and how to teach it to student's in the easiest way possible. I loved his class, and I wish I could take it again!

The exams are too long. I must of the time I felt like rushing the entire semester. On the E ticket I scored a good grade, as well as the group project, on homework assignments I did pretty good, WebAssign which is Math Lab I scored on average of 98. However, none of this does not count if you don't pass three exams plus a final. My GPA 3.76

Professor Koppelman posts all his power points online which was very helpful, but I still recommend going to class everyday because it is easier to understand. This class was pretty easy, even though I got a B. He is a good teacher but goes too fast sometimes.

He's the nicest and cutest old man. He know's what he's teaching and asks if you understand a lot which is good. There's online homework assignments aren't hard & he gives practice tests 2 days before the test. The practice tests are almost exactly the same as the actual test. His tests can get tricky & the final replaces your lowest test grade.

I would advise to anyone to attend class. He gives exit tickets which are short quizzes that apply to your grade and attendance. Also, do your homework, it will help with webassign, the problems are almost identical. If you keep up with the work you should pass this class, no matter if you are good in math or not. Best math teacher I've ever had.

Definitely take this class if you're not good at math!! I got a B, but probably could have gotten an A if I studied harder and didn't skip class a few times. He explains stuff really well and goes over all homework each day in class. he also gives practice tests that are very similar to the tests. Great math professor and really knows how to teach!

I thought his class was not to difficult, but you do have to study and pay attention in class to do well. The midterm and the final and very important to do good on, and both do require studying for. On the final he let us use whatever notes we wanted, so that helped a lot. He is a reasonable and great math professor. I would take him again.

I took him for the lowest level math you can take. I'm not great at math, but he made it sooooooooo easy. He is also really funny. I loved going to his class, because you really do learn. He wants you to learn and pass but if you don't come or pay attention he doesn't care about you at all. Just show up and pay attention and you'll be fine.

TAKE HIM FOR INTRO! He is willing to help you if you dont fully grasp a concept and is open to questions during class. He loves his job, and he is honestly one of my favorite professors at KSU.
