Easy teacher. All his notes are online so you really don't need to go to class. Old tests are online too. As long as you study the old tests and go over notes online you should be fine. Going to class can sometimes help though cause he does hint at times for what questions he will put on the exams.

Although he is funny, and friendly I would not recommend Mallery if you have never taken a Biology class before or have taken one very recently. When he explains things he jumps straight to the conclusion, and never mentions on how you got there. This poses a serious problem for students who have no formal background.

First off the guy below is clearly an idiot. His tests are not that difficult and usually cover 6 chapters at the most. I miss quite a few lectures, I study a couple nights before the test, first test was a C+, second was an A. Tests are worded a little weird sometimes but overall Mallery is a great professor.

Overall, Dr. Mallery is a good professor. He really wants his students to succeed. The class is tought by Mallery 1/3 of the term, and by Glaser 2/3 of the term.
