MR.Westbrooks was a cool teacher! he has a lot of great stories from american airlines that are pretty interesting. he loves the union! i was able to get a taste of what the airline industry is like. if you get a chance take his class.

Prof. Wesbrooks is definately one of ERAU's finest teachers. He always comes up with inventive and creative ways to teach his classes and really cares about all his students. He should get the teacher of the year award!

Great professor really knows his stuff. Funny as all hell. He makes any class fun, and you acutally wont mind going. I will take another class with him.

Westbrooks is awesome! But his tests are not so awesome. He makes you do a partner paper/presentation and it has to be 10 pages. Way too much to do with someone you don't even know.

He is a really funny guy, extremely nice, and his class is very interesting. However, his tests are very tricky, sometimes not even making sense. Should be an easy A if you study.

overall he is fun and knows his stuffs, but takes too much points away from the attendance. my score was very close to an A, but he gave me a C because i was absent four times. my friend had 81 and got a B and i had 89 and got a C. what's up with that&#63

This guy is awesome, he's very forgiving, he knows the right amount of work you have to do, which means it's a whole lot less stressful,and will make you laugh most of the times. Even though some jokes are a bit strange ;)I recommend this class to everyone. By Far the one of best Prof. I have had.

Great teacher with real-life experience. He has many interesting stories from his past years as an American Airlines F/O and Military pilot. He is a hardcore Republican so don't let him know that you're a Democrat, if infact you are one.

A teacher who genuinely cares about the student! His real world experience makes him the best teacher you could take for this course. Finally a teacher at Riddle that understands the BIG PICTURE and is not arogant or caught up in his own agendas. Highly recommended! Keep up the good work Wes!

Funny guy, loved the class. Instead of E-Nav, me and my friends call it E-Nap. But only because we had it right after eating props. Wish all teachers were like Westbrooks. I guess they just make you appreciate teachers like Westbrooks.

Very nice guy seems like he really cares wether you understand or not. Very fair also, test aren't too bad if you study his slides but make sure you take notes. he tests on things he says during the lecture not just on the slides

PRETTY EASY CLASS. NICE GUY, EASY TESTS, FAIR GRADING. HIS TEACHING IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. BUT DONT LET HIS THICK SOUTHERN ACCENT FOOL YOU.. HE'S KINDA TOUGH AND STUBBORN BENEATH THE SURFACE.

Great teacher. Funny, smart, and fair. His class isn't very tough if you pay attention (like you should), study a bit, and participate in class. You'll learn a lot here and do well if you deserve it. If you sleep in his class, you'll get the crappy grade you deserve.

Avoinics is a useless class, but westbrooks is an amazing teacher. Class is a blast, although tests are difficult be sure to go ask him for help and he'll point you in the right direction.

AMAZING PROFESSOR. The easiest classes you will ever take at Riddle. Tests are often tricky, some questions are less than valid, but he is extremely fair and curves the tests to make up for it. You actually learn stuff in his class too. Took him for AS 402 and AS 435.

Awesome teacher. Really cares about his students. Tells alot of irrelevant stories, but most of them are pretty good. Very little homework (2 one page papers) and the tests are prtty easy, and usually throws out 2-3 questions from the test

Pretty easy class. No homework,just tests and a one page paper. While the class isn't demanding, Professor Westbrooks has some very useful (and entertaining) stories. He's apparently an environmentalist Republican, if that makes any sense. Take him if you can - you'll have fun and get some good advice for the airlines as well.

I could write a book on how much I respect and enjoy Prof Westbrooks classes. Take him for anything that you can!

Westbrooks is probably the one of the best AS professors we have at ERAU. He makes 'BANK"!

FMS was an easy class. No books needed (he doesn't like it) and he'll supply you with everything you need to ace the tests. He's a great guy and you can go to him if you need anything.

Westbrooks is awesome. He has a whole lot of interesting stories, and alot of good information. The most interesting class I took last term. Grading is easy, just review the powerpoints and take the test, easy. You have to go to class everyday, but you will enjoy going. Also his political fews are awesome. He's a liberal republican!

The best class @ ERAU w/ Mr. Westbrooks. Super friendly, EASY, very open class discussions all the time. A certain "A". This man brings professionalism and experience AND laughter out in this class bringing out the passion within to be an airline pilot. Certainly, I wish I could take this class every single term. This is the best. class. ever.

I have never left a classroom learning so much, and wishing every class could be taught, handled, relaxed, and easy as this Airline Ops. was. Credit goes to Mr. Westbrooks for making this the most enjoyable class ever -- I wish I had him for every class -- Id have a 4.00 EASY.

Easy class. Professor tells a tn of stories from personal experience but those stories rarely pertain to what you will be tested on. Class doesn't usually start until 30-40 minutes into an hour long course. Good life lessons to be learned if you intend to go commercial. No real lessons for others.

Very logical and easy class if you are interested in aviation... Professor tells a lot of stories about his experiences in the airline world which are usually helpful and always humorous... Westbrooks' is a must take teacher for airline Ops!!!

I enjoyed Captain Westbrooks very much, and learned a great deal of useful knowledge that I will take with me for the rest of my career. Mr. Westbrooks is awesome. He is so knowledgeable about the airlines and wants his students to succeed. There is absolutely no reason to not get an A in this class. Tests are simple. You will WANT to go to this class every day. Recommended for everyone who wants to go into the airlines.

Professor Westbrooks is one of the best and most personable professors ive had. if you are taking AS402, you have to try to get anything less than an A, and im not a good student. His stories are hilarious. Ask him why you need to keep a sewing needle in your flight bag.

Great professor. Does tend to side track a little, but it's usually a story/topic you can learn from. Speaks from experience and actually knows what he is talking about. I enjoyed the class.

Fantastic Professor! He was very clear with the course material. He is very witty and funny. He gives practical advise about the material. Sometimes, he strays and talks about life, but his stories do relate to the course. His tests are very detailed, but if you show up everyday, pay attention, and practice, it's very easy.

Great professor! Easy to work with, classes are really about the real world information and not straight out of a textbook. (No text needed for AS 402) You can pass with just his PPT's and he gives a great study review already typed out! No brainer to pass. If you study any at all you should get an A.

His classes are hilarious. He always has a bunch of stories to tell the class, which are all linked to the subject. He has a lot of experience in the field and makes sure to give us his experiences. Don't skip class, he hates that. Tests are kinda of hard, but fine Take this class, one of my favorites so far! Never cross the picket line!

Professor Westbrooks has insightful and hilarious lectures that pull from his days as a Boeing 727 and Fokker 100 pilot for American Airlines (a.k.a. "Anonymous Airlines" in his class). He inspires you to know the industry and plan for a prosperous career. Do the few homework assignments and study a bit for the exams and an A is easy!

He knows his information on the industry. He gives 2 tests and 2 papers both very easy A's. I would recommend before anyone else. Very personable and can relate with you as a pilot.

He tends to talk about a lot of stories but it is relevant to the class he teaches. His tests are easy and strait forward. I said attendance wasn't mandatory but he does take attendance every once and a while, doesn't care if you miss as long as you tell him. Has a southern accent as well.

Knows his material. He has lots of experience in the field. Really nothing bad I can say about him. Would take again.

He is a fun professor. I didn't learn as much about airline management as I had hoped, but I felt like I got a lot out of the class regardless.

Amazing lectures and amazing dude. You know everything you need for tests and nothing is too difficult. Uses his experiences to teach as well. Definitely recommend for 402, it is nothing too difficult if you listen a bit.

Good Professor that brings a lot of airline experience to the table. His son now flies for Delta, so be ready to hear a lot about Delta and American. Havent had any homework and theres not a lot of material covered on each test. Overall a great class with a lot of feedback as to what to expect when becoming a professional airline pilot.

this class has only easy assignments that are fairly graded to help you achieve the A, unlike other professors that act like they care about your career and give you C. Enroll in this one and thank me later.

What an amazing person. honestly, he is awesome. just show up and listen with respect and you will get an A. 2 online "open book" exams 15 min presentation with videos allowed do them and you are guaranteed 100% an A. also, he is not one of those professors that cry when you work on something else on your phone or laptop.

Class activities and assignments are extremely easy. Only gripe about him is that he sometimes goes off on tangents or tells stories that take up a lot of class time, and sometimes those tangents involve politics that I don't care for.

Professor Westbrooks share many of his experience in aviation with the class. He often make connections with the real world and share his take on a subject. Overall the class is just a story telling time and is one of my favorite class in the afternoon. Pay attention in class you will learn a lot before you even step foot in the airline industry.

Easily one of the best professors at ERAU. He will teach you more about real life ops and his own experiences / stories than any other class. Easy A as long as you read over the test study guides.

Prof Westbrooks brings a lot of experience to the table, evident through stories that he tells in class. The course itself was based on some quizzes and a final presentation. The only qualm I had was that we didn't really know our grades until the very end of the semester, but the class is easy and very engaging. Westbrooks is great - take him!

Westbrooks is an AMAZING guy. He is the classic old-fashioned airline pilot who wants his students to succeed in the real world. He could care less about memorizing FARs and #s (even though you have to for the tests) and instead gives the students career advice for the entire semester. He can get political but is very respectful when presenting.

He was a very good professor. He related everything to real-world events and made sure we weren't just talking about old stuff. Class is an easy A if you look over the study guides. One thing is if you don't do good with conservative views, you may not like him, but if you do, you will love him.
