Everyone knows that Calc is hard, but Widener tries to make it as easy as possible, plus hw is worth 30% of your grade which is very benefitial.
He is a very easy teacher. You can ask as many homework problems in clas and he explains how to do them and gives you the answers. His tests and quizes are really easy too.
Great teacher. Very helpful. I strongly recommend this class. Tests are easy. Once he gave us chance to make up for missed questions on a quiz. Just ask and he'll be glad to help if you don't understand something.
Calculus is definately a very hard subject but this professor tries to make it as easy as possible. Sometimes test questions are tricky but he really helps you out with points if you attempt a problem. He is very helpful outside of the classroom and very approachable. He is a really nice guy if you need anything all you have to do is ask.
The class is really easy. The tests and quizzes are very basic. Theres extra credit on almost all tests, and its over concepts that you already know. He misses a lot of key ideas in Calculus, and from having taken Calc before, hes not that great of a teacher... you might get the A, but learning somethings is another thing.
As far as a calculus class goes, its good. Dont take this class with him if you really want to LEARN calculus. Tests and quizzes arent that tough. Do homework! It saves you if you do badly.
one of my favorite professor. very nice and understanding. hated math until i took him acouple years ago for college algebra and afterwards i loved it. got an A in precalc also with him. do all the hw and you'll get a good grade. highly reccomended.
Professor Widener is amazing! I absolutely hate math with a passion and his teaching has made it easier for me to learn. I love being in class because he helps with ANY problem and he's definitely a fun guy :) His homework is easy and if you don't understand anything, just ask! The tests & quizzes can be confusing but its def. possible to get an A
He is the best math teacher I have ever had. I HATE math...with a strong passion and he helped me so much. If you struggle with math take him, hes so helpful!
He's a really laid back kind of guy! If you need any help on the material he's always willing to help! The class is not as hard as most Calc classes can be...which if you don't plan on taking anymore math afterwards is probably a good thing! He goes over only the essentials and doesn't bother with the rest.
Great teacher, very clear and concise as to what he expects of students. would definitely recommend!
omg, he's soooo cool. this class was really easy and he helped out a lot. I'm taking him again for suree!
So easy. He gives short quizes every week that you dont need to study for as long as u showed up for class and did the hw. His test are just like hw problems and he usually has a bonus question at the end of the exam. Such a nice guy, i would def. recommend taking any class he offers.
If you are not good at math and need a easy grade take him! quizzes every week, but very easy. He goes over exactly what you need to know before each quiz and the tests aren't too bad either...attendance is not required, but HW is. I am trying to take him for every math class possible...He's awesome
The book is miserable and a waste of money (aka it doesn't really do anything). The homework program that goes with it takes some getting used to. If you have a calc background it's easy. The topics I hadn't covered in my calc class weren't well explained but that was just 2 small ones you could easily do without. I was bored but it was easy.
He is a great teacher and really wants his students to understand the material. Very fair grader. If you fail one test and do better on your midterm, he will replace you grade on your test for your midterm grade. Same with the final. Recommend!
He's a cool guy because it feels like its your dad teaching you. Everything he assigns is clear. The tests;however, are a little challenge because he puts things on there that you don't cover. You can easily succeed in this class if you are consistent with the work and grasp whatever he teaches.
Awesome guy! 20% grade are homework and quizzes, both are really easy. Any questions, go during office hours, there is always a ton of people, but he'll solve problems for you! If you mess up on test, will change it if you do better on midterm! Makes math a breeze!
As long as you can multiply all that jazz out and get things done without gumming up the works and laboring too much, you're golden! Chuck's the best!
Awesome guy. very helpful in class, will go over anything you want. He is always willing to help you during office hours. The subject is tough but he wants you to do well and to get the basic concepts. wonderful guy
Widner is a nice prof. but his exams are NOT easy, especially if you never took calc before. He puts questions that don’t reflect the homework or problems that we did in class. What's worse, he does not give A- so a 90% is a B+. He also does not give out partial credit on final exam. It's VERY hard to get an A. Take someone else if you can
I actually was interested in this calculus class before i took it and i still am because i have to take 132 but he is a good teacher and he is helpful. test are a lil hard but all you ahve to do is study
Calculus was a breeze. Attendance not mandatory. Grades based on homework which is usually 1-2 per week. Then there's 3 tests plus a final. He literally makes it impossible not to get an A, and you have to be an idiot to not take advantage of what he says in class. Just take him, he's definitely worth it if you put in your best effort.
He was ok... but beware his tests are really hard since problems are not that similar to the hw. Final exam m.c so no partial credit. He has a questionable grading scale (why doesn't he give an A- ?). He was helpful though.
Chuck was an Inspiration! He was nice, helpful, and always ready to crack a joke! His tests are hard and homework is mandatory. However, if you do the homework the test grades don't really matter. He will just take your test grades too, if you perfer taking tests. He is willing to work with you! Take him!
Widener is AWESOME. I struggle with math, so I was really scared of Calculus, but his system really works. He grades homework, which is easy points and also makes you keep up with the material. He is always willing to help you, and the exams are not tough as long as you've understood the homework. Getting an A is definitely possible.
This was a very easy class for me probably because I took Calc in High School. His quizzes are really easy and his tests are a little bit harder. He'll answer any questions you have in class and is really nice.
He's the best! Quizes are weekly and if you did the homework you will get an A and if you're having a bad week he drops two! He's the type of teacher that will answer any question and just really wants you to learn and will even give partial credit on the exams. Put time to do homework and study and you will get an A+! I wish I could take him again
Prof. Charles is awesome. Quizzes every week, 3 tests and a final. Quizzes are similar problems based on Hw. Even though HW is not mandatory if u do them u will get an A+ in all quizes and test including midterm. He is very helpful- clears all your doubts in class and alsoduring his office hours. He is very helpful. He is a GR8 prof.
SUCH a nice man. Great prof! weekly quizzes, 2 tests, and a final. If I ever had to take math again, I would def take it with him. He's very clear and is always happy to help and answer questions. I strongly recommend him!
I LOVE WIDENER!! He is a great teacher. I am not a fan of math but he is awesome and makes you interested. The tests are not hard so long as you do the homework. He is very patient and will help you. If he taught more math I would take him.
widener is an AMAZING teacher, so helpful and nice. easy homework but its never turned in, problems are on quizes and tests, he feels bad is people so badly and just wants everyone to do well. he has 8 quizes but drops the lowest 2. 2 tests and a final. TAKE HIM. he's fun.
He is very nice and helpful. You learn a lot from him. His class is fairly easy. Do well on the quizzes because they are much easier compared to the exams.
He is literally the nicest teacher i have ever had in my life...he is exactly like professor lupin. he doesn't grade homework and gives 5 question quizes every wed. plus a couple tests. he only tests you on what he has taught...extremely straigh forward, passionate and clear....TAKE HIS CLASS!!
This guys definently awesome. He is always willing to help his students. Homework isn't graded but helps, b/c he takes his questions right off it! Doesn't take attendence, weekly quiz(10) drops lowest 2, 2 tests, midterm, final, VERY SIMPLE!
Everything people have said about Widener is true! He is a really nice guy. I have taken Algebra before, but his class was totally different because he teaches you WHY you do things one way or another, not just how to do the steps, which really helps you make sense of the material. TAKE HIM! I'm signed up with him again next semester again.
Prof. Widener is such a great teacher. I am terrible at math, but this class was one of my best this semester. He's very knowledgeable and funny. Listen for his interesting little comments during class, they're great. He's always willing to help, and knows exactly how to explain things. Take his class!!
Great guy. Crystal clear with directions--very helpful will go over and over things until you get it. HW quizzes every week so do the hw they're directly from it. same with the tests and they are MC.
Widener is the sweetest dude at this school. His class is easy, it would be more boring, if he didn't make it fun. Constantly making stupid jokes that are great. Was once described to me as "avuncular." Look it up, because it's true. Makes math easy, and if you don't get it, then you shouldn't have been allowed in this school.
Fulfills Quantitative core req. Such a great and helpful professor. He will go over things as many times as you need. wants you to succeed. Think about the best high school math teacher you can think of and then put him in the college setting. It would be hard to not do well in this class.
Avuncular indeed. He'll review concepts over and over until everyone gets it (and he's incredibly patient if you don't). Homework & attendance isn't necessary, but quiz & test questions are directly copied from homework. Boring material, but an entertaining and just generally awesome dude.
great if you took calc in highschool. attendance not mandatory. quizzes are based on homework (homework is not mandatory to do). 2 exams, final and midterm. if you miss a quiz or exam you can make it up...
pretty good teacher. class was mandatory so i didn't care too much about it but he picks out all of the material he thinks is useful to real life and teaches only that, which is nice. couldn't care less if you show up to class except for tests/quizzes. he posts all hw and notes are from the book so you really don't have to go.
Easiest math class ever. Teaches only what you need to know for the quiz & problems come straight from the HW. I once went to his office to make up a quiz and before i turned it in he told me to recheck problem A and fix a mistake. awesome? i think so.
Great professor, usually doesn't teach this high of a math class. Usually teaches low 100-level classes, which is what made this class so easy. He knows how to explain math to students who don't get it. Attendance isn't mandatory, but really helps considering he basically gives you the answers to the quiz questions in class.
Explained math very well. Very patient teacher who seems to care if you get the concept or not. Don't have to go to class if you don't want to, treats students like adults. Quizzes and test were not extremely difficult and did not contain 'trick' questions.
Widener is the best math teacher I've ever had. He makes things clear. I am terrible at Math, but it's really hard to fail this class. Take him for an easy math core.
FABULOUS professor. His teaching style is clear and he is SO helpful. If math isn't normally your thing, take Widener. He will teach something as many different ways as he needs to so that everyone has a clear understanding. Best math professor I've ever had, just wish he was teaching 132!
Great teacher. I never took calculus before but he made it easy and helped a lot. Definitely take!
Usually he doesn't teach this high of a level math course but he was absolutely great! He has a quiz each week, two tests, one midterm, and a final which aren't hard. If you do the homework (which i highly recommend) along with the supplemental problems you'll definetly ace this course!
He was a good, helpful teacher. He was very easy throughout the semester and I got A's on all of the tests and quizzes, but then he surprised us with a difficult final. I spent 2 1/2 hours on it (he gave us extra time so that was nice.) I did end up getting a 96 on it (pretty sure he gave a generous curve,) and I got an A in the class.
Even if you've never taken calculus before, Professor Widener is very thorough, easy and helpful! Quizzes are the supplemental problems he gives you in class!
Awesome teacher! Easy to understand, wil help you if needed. Lots of proofs, but tests and quizes are straight forward and based on homework and what he shows in class. Best math teacher at Loyola.
Best math teacher at Loyola. If you want to actually learn something and get a good grade take him. Easy A for anyone decent in math. He teaches so well, very easy to understand, quizzes are right off the homework, exams mirror the homework and quizzes. He is very generous with points and always willing to help and he's a funny guy.
He is very helpful and the class is relatively easy if you really do all the homework. Quizzes once a week, two tests, a midterm, and a final. Homework assignments once or twice a week...but they're pretty easy. He's very helpful but he can be a bit boring when he does long proofs.
He is a nice, intelligent man who is easy to understand and will prepare students well for higher level math. Doing homework is essential in this class, but easy for those who attend class. He MAY be a little difficult to handle early in the morning, as he is very monotone, and I personally had difficulty staying awake often. Otherwise, great guy!
Absolutely Terrible! Stay Away! Tests were insanely hard. Didn't let us even drop an exam. Homework didn't help. His examples in class dont reflect what's on the exam. Final was almost impossible!
TERRIBLE... he is boring and a terrible teacher. His weekly quizzes are easy and the tests were relatively easy. Then he gave the hardest final known to man. OF the people I know, nobody did well
WORST teacher I've had a Loyola. He's boring and does nothing but confuse students. Tests do not reflect the homework at all. There were ALWAYS problems I had never seen before on tests and quizzes. He will talk and talk just to fill time. Take someone else!
Ok, if you're a math snob, this guy is not your guy. He's a little all over the place which might set off nit picky students. But as a math hating person, I LOVE this class. He's super helpful with questions, the homework (which you have to do anyway) teaches the material on its own and he's a super nice guy, albeit a little nerdy.
Previously taken Precal in high school, Widner's teaching is all over the place, but he tries to really simplify it for you. He's a sadistic and funny guy, but can get a little monotone. Overall, he cares about simplicity!! Easy grader (quiz every week, 3 tests, and final) which are not too bad.
I had him last semester for precalc (which I got an A- in) and now I have him for calc 1. He understands that most people dont particularily like math, so he doesn't make it too hard. He's always willing to help when you need it and he wants his students to do well. Definitely recommend him!
Prof. Widener is such a nice guy! He really is willing to help you, and does make it pretty clear about what he finds important. If you do all the homework you will be fine!! I recommend!
You practically have to teach yourself. His teaching techniques are awful because he doesn't test on what he teaches. The tests are more from the book more than anything. The homework isn't relevant to what he tests on so you have no idea what type of questions you'll be seeing on the exam. He's no longer good. I would say to avoid him!!!
This guy is great! He is great with explaining and will stop and explain it to you if you need him to. He tends to go a bit fast but is willing to help anyway he can. If he offered the next class I would take it in a heartbeat! Recommend completely!
He's a great professor, I loved it, I never did any of the homework since some students ask questions regarding it in class and he'll go over them. Kind of like high school math. You use the quizzes to study for the tests and final, super easy, he gave us a study guide for the final since I asked for one, he's a definite take.
Best math teacher I've ever had. He explains things incredibly clearly. You will never see something on an exam that we didn't do in class. His office hours are helpful too. He's a pretty funny guy and really approachable. Really enjoyed his class. But attending class is totally mandatory otherwise you'll be completely lost! Never used the textbook
BEST BEST BEST TEACHER EVER!He tells you what you need to know, and doesn't add all the useless fluff other teachers add to confuse you. Clear, straight forward, and the nicest person ever. He is not judgmental if you don't know the answer and he loves to help you and explain things. He's funny and treats you with respect and friendliness!Take him!
AMAZING professor! Super easy going and very willing to help you out! You don't need to go to class, just do the online homework and the quizzes will be easy! Quiz every week and he drops the lowest 3! Definitely take him! Super easy!
He's a really nice guy. Explains everything well. His quizzes come from the homework and he drops the lowest grade. His tests are easy as well. Overall, you can get an easy grade. Take him especially if you don't like math that much.
Widener is the easiest teacher ever. "me with the bad hearing". Charles GOAT
He is a very experienced professor for this simple math class. It is strictly practical math that he tries to explain why we would ever need to use it. There is either a quiz or a test every wednesday but he is more than willing to help you out if you need help. If you go to class and look over hw before the quiztest you'll be fine.
The best professor I've had at Loyola. Laid back, very clear, takes things slowly and goes through lots of examples. Never did the homework and got a B, if you actually utilize the book it will be an easy A
I thought this was a very challenging class. Lots of Homework and will spend many hours on it feeling confused.
currently taking and its a very hard subject. Not sure if professor is the best I've heard others are better. I'd look around.
Look above for beginning. Right now Calc is supposed to be easy but it is very difficult everything is based off the book and you have to teach yourself My upperclassman friends say hes no longer the teacher he was back in the day dont believe outdated reviews Take Emmanuel Barron or Guanyama I ended up with a B- and im in premed.
Widener is a grat math professor at least for me. She makes sure he explains the topic well. The only thing I don't like is that he assigns math homework that is so irrelevant when we take the test/quiz because he makes up his own problems but makes us do weird problems out of the book. He sometimes spends the whole class deriving formulas.
AMAZING teacher! Made calculus so easy for me! Just do homework problems and you will pass! He goes over the homework and goes over quiz questions before he gives the quiz. God bless him
This professor is probably one of the best I have ever had. He's clear in his lectures. He seems to be aware that the stuff in the book is tough, but don't worry, the tests are much easier than what's in the book. Just listen to his lectures and you're set. He also gives you the equations so no need to memorize those. Definitely recommend.
Easy teacher for a math class. Presents material in a clear manner and curves tests if students do bad. Really wants the class to succeed and offers make up quizzes and throws out questions. Attendance is not mandatory but homework is due once a week. Hw questions on quiz and quiz questions on the test.
The tests were much easier than the homework quizzes. Great teacher, especially for a difficult subject like Calculus. Gives generous partial credit.
Helped make a difficult subject like calculus easier to understand. Homework and homework quizzes were hard, but tests were pretty easy. Study for the final.
Professor Widener is a very good instructor. He has a tendency to get a little dry, especially when he is deriving equations, but he presents material in a very straightforward, easy to grasp way. He cares very much about his students, and is very much invested in their success. Highly recommended, especially if you struggle in math.
Fabulous math teacher. My only regret is that I didnt get him for 132. He is very clear, very patient, and makes goofy jokes about his hearing. I absolutely adored him. Tests are super easy as long as you keep up with homework and take the quizzes. Drops lowest 3 quizzes.
Great professor, very clear and understanding of students and what they need to succeed. Teaches the important stuff you will need later for further classes without thinking every student is a math major. Tests and quizes are exactly like example problems. He is definitely there to help you whenever you need it and keeps lectures interesting.
Widener assigns little homework, and what he does assign always shows up on quizes, and the quizes make up the tests. If you do the homework, and understand how to do those problems, you will do fine. I failed out of calc 1 last year, and ended up last semester with a 98 with Widener. Amazing guy, and tells a lot of "bad" dad jokes.
Dr. Widener is perfect for someone who needs the credit for core or for a small part of their major like biology or chemistry. His class is very easy and he doesn't test you on the tough questions. He is funny, available, and an easy grader. Although if you are a math or physics major I would say this class wouldn't teach you all you need to know.
Such a great professor, took this class with another professor and ended up failing because i couldn't understand the material, with Widener i hardly had to study to get good grades. Quizzes almost every other class with about 3 questions, quizzes are the best study guides and basically make up the exam. He is sometimes unorganized but still great
Widener was an excellent calc professor &a great guy. Lectures aren't mandatory but I went to all of them & found them very clear and helpful for quizzes and tests. We had a quiz almost every week but they were super easy and he drops three of them. Tests are identical to quizzes, not hard at all. Got an A and barely studied. TAKE HIM!
He's a great math professor. Math is not my strength but he made the material easy to understand. He will help you on quizzes and uses the problems from the 'homework'. He's definitely not a hard grader and tries to assign as many points as possible. He provided a study guide for the finals and is very available outside of class for questions.
Don't take any other math professor besides Widener! He goes over the homework with the whole class. Then the quizzes resemble the homeworks. Tests resemble the quizzes. And he teaches it so clearly. Makes math doable
This class is "real world math" you will never use, which Prof. Widener knows, so he tries to make class interesting. All around, he's a nice and funny guy. He requests you sign in, but doesn't care if you show up. You take 10 quizzes and three tests, and he drops the 3 lowest quiz grades. He makes this class tolerable, take him if you can!
He's gotten hard recently (took him in 2016) compared to his last couple years. He's not the blow-off professor he once was, but is far better and easier than any other math professor on campus. Tests are repeated homework questions with different numbers, but messing up even slightly on tests hurts your grade.
Professor Widener is the BEST math professor I've had in my whole life. He is clearly well versed in this subject and helps students understand it with simple analogies.
Great guy! Very knowledgeable about his subject and very open to questions. He does tend to work pretty quickly, so it can be a little hard to keep up, but you can usually ask him to clarify and he will. Very personable- he will actually remember your name and face, especially if it's a smaller class. He's also fairly open to extending assignments.
He is a GREAT professor! His lectures are super clear and if you still need clarification outside of class he is very accessible during his office hours. Goes through most of the homework in class and tests and quizzes are to the point and never of any surprise. I highly recommend taking him !!
Really nice prof and helps you learn the concepts. Sometimes he wont allow you to use calculator but if you do the homework you should do fine.
Widener is one of the best professors at Loyola. Always willing to help and many students get extra help at office hours. He teaches the basics and never tricks you, a straight up class. Great guy, super funny and cool.
Straight forward, explains material well. Very available and generous w/ office hours. I struggle with math and he helped me because I came for help after classes. Great about answering questions and explaining concepts. Very honest about what will be on quizzes and tests.
99% ratings on here are fake news. Took this professor because of his good ratings, only to find out that he lectures way too quickly and you don't even have time to process any info. During assessments he'll say petty things like "only 20 minutes on your 15 min test..I mean QUIZ" if you take your time. Avoid if you want that A
Prof. Widener is a good choice if you're not so good at math like me. He explains everything clearly and works on the Webassign homework in class. He has some quizzes every other week, but if you review the homework you'll do fine. Three exams which were easy.
Professor Widener may come across as a bit harsh at times when he is upset that a quiz or test didn't go so well, but it's out of his care for his students. He believes that everyone can learn the subject matter if they put in the time and work. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class!
He is a good professor and knows what he is teaching. He can come off as rude sometimes when he gets frustrated with his students. He is accessible outside of class. He has easy tests so if you pay attention in class you should be fine. Lots of homework. But if you study for the test, do the homework, and pay attention in class you should do fine
Hands down the best math professor on campus! He explains everything in a way that everyone will understand. He only gives you problems to practice that he knows he will put on the exams and quizzes. Helps explain homework problems in class and is always making sure everyone has a genuine understanding for the material! I HIGHLY recommend!!!
widener is the best math professor I've ever had!! lectures are short and he goes over everything multiple times. weekly quizzes and he drops the 2 lowest scores and only have to do 60% of the assigned homework (he does most of the problems for you in class). get ready for a lot of sassy remarks and dad jokes he loves them.
I loved Professor Widener, but his lectures can get difficult to understand because of how fast he goes, which was especially difficult at 8 am. Attendance isn't mandatory but he does take attendance every day and uses it as a factor when bumping your grade. Quizzes generally once a week (sometimes he skips a week), 3 exams, homework and a final.
Mr. Widener is hands down the best professor I have ever had at Loyola. I have been in 4 maths in the 2 years I have been at LUC. He gives weekly quizzes that you can study from the practices he uploads on Sakai. Three exams (you can study from the quizzes) and a final.
HE IS ONE OF LOYOLA'S BEST MATH TEACHERS. Take Him! Graded by weekly quizzes , 2 of the lowest are dropped. There are only 4 exams, but study hard for them because there is no homework grade. He uploads all homework, quiz, and exam solutions to sakai. He is supper funny, explains problems easily and cares for the class. Highly recommend!
I took Prof. Widener for four semesters straight because I enjoyed him as a teacher that much. He is happy to help his students both inside and outside of class, but the class tends to move quickly and every class is a lecture. He usually has about ten quizzes and four tests during the semester. He grades fairly and gives a lot of partial credit.
I would definitely take this class again. His tests and quizzes are pretty easy. He really wants you to know the calc part of the problems so you usually don't have to evaluate problems on the test just show you know how to set it up the calc way. If you have a question he is good at trying to make sure you understand it.
TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT AN EASY MATH CLASS. I am so bad at math and this class is easy for me. Easiest professor ever. Attendance not mandatory, easy quiz every week (he tells you exactly what it's on), and a few easy tests (he gives a study guide identical to the test). Great GPA booster! Easy going class. TAKE HIM!
I suck at math and this class was the easiest math class ever. Widener gives the most basic problems on the tests and quizzes, so they're really easy. The homework he gives is optional but I recommend doing it to study. 9 quizzes (lowest 2 are dropped), 3 midterms, and a cumulative final. If math isn't your strength, take this guy and it'll be easy
Professor Widener is an amazing teacher. His class was very difficult, but it was doable. If you did the homework and understood it then there are no surprises on quizzes and tests. Most test questions he will do as an example throughout his lectures so pay attention. He really cares about his students, so if you make an effort, he will help you.
He is such a great math professor! Truly cares about his students and let me go back and study more to retake a math quiz when I was struggling. His homework isn't graded and can be used for practice. Quizzes are based on the homework and tests are based on the quizzes. Overall a great choice!
Take him!! Three major tests plus a final. No midterm. Quizzes almost every week, but if you do the homework and go to class they should be easy.
He is such a great professor. He is funny and he cares so much about his student. His tests are quite easy if you pay attention in class and do the homework. There is a quiz once a week and it is based off of homework. It is easy to succeed in this class if you put the work in, pay attention in class, and do the homework. Highly recommend.
Professor Widener is the best math instructor I have ever had. He clearly explains topics, and prepares you extremely well for tests and quizzes.
This was hands down the easiest math class I've ever taken. He canceled our midterm because he kept teaching the same thing over and over so that everyone in the class understood. Honestly, if you show up to class, pay attention, and take notes, it's nearly impossible to get a grade lower than an A. It's child's play.
I hate math and I took two of Prof. Widener's classes back in 2018 and 2019, Math 100 and Math 118 and I just want to say that he is the best math professor I have ever taken and he needs to come back to Loyola! I want to take Math 131 with him :(
MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR EVER!!! If you need math you take him. Quizzes and exams are on Sakai/wileyplus. Not monitored and gives you enough time to finish everything. Really caring and will move things around for you. 3 exams all on wileyplus. 9 quizzes, drops lowest 2. Gave us all 5% Bc he made a typo in syllabus. Love him.
Professor Widener is very nice! He really explains concepts well to make sure you understand! If you need help he will always stay longer on zoom to help! There is like 4 tests and a final. Homework due every week. But tests make more of your grade so get better grades on tests!
Prof Widener is amazing. His lectures are really easy to follow. really cares about his students, and will extend HW.
