she expects you to know about the subject already. Her midterm had only 4 Q's so if you mess one up..hmm. She's lazy,no extra credit(believe me you'll NEED extra credit),and she gves no hw so that means your entire grade depends upon 3 quizes & 2 tests.
Very good professor- I took her and got an A her research paper is somewhat easy, make sure and study for the midterm
She is a lady on a powertrip, she expects you to have an intrinsic knowledge(know a lot about)pol.sci. before you even set foot into the classroom. She is a teacher out to prove that she knows more than you from the beginning of the class.
Professor Williams is a tough professor. To get an A in her class, read the textbook and take good notes. She is also very helpful and willing to answer questions in during her office hours. There are no free-bes with her, you get what you earn.

She isn't too tough of a professor. The quizzes,midterm/final are short answers and essay questions. She gives a take home redemption quiz. Only 1 paper to write for class. You aren't expected to know about Poli Sci before you take the class.
Lets be honest here.... if you don't want to learn anything then don't take her. she is really help full i got a B. and i was absent... get on her good side and listen and pay attention and it will be a breeze
Not the easiest... but certainly an expert in her field. I think she is probably most irritated by the ignorance of students/Americans regarding politics. She has a lot to teach you so be prepared. She is a good soul.

She knows alot about her subject. One has to be intrested in international politics in order to enjoy her class. I WOULD NOT MISS HER CLASS. I also had her pol sci1 and got C very interesting and not easy.

She seems tough at first so hang in there!!! Her lectures are interesting and fun. She probably makes you think and do a bit more work than other poliscie professors but she's very understanding, helpful and a great teacher. Extra Credit & Curve provided.
Great teacher...she LOVES to talk but there is a midterm and an essay and those arent easy...you will come out knowing a bit more about whats goin on today after her class...great class and i would def. reccommend it
She was so indimdating during the first half of the semester. I hated her class but later on she lightened up on us and we actually came to like her.
Rarely any homework, but you have to sit through her lectures and keep up with "notes". She likes going on tangents, and she's very liberal for those Republicans who base their teachers on that pretentious notion. But you do learn a bunch
Her lectures are disorganized but taking notes and using them in the midterm/final will help. For those who know nothing about polysci, her class will be hard. Those who have a background on this subject will appreciate her vast knowledge.
Shes a diffcult teacher to take if u want to breeze on by college. Her testes are based on her class lectures and her in class dicussion tend to get off subject sometime so u end up not really knowing what to study on.

Averall, she is a good teacher, I did learn something. Her tests are not too easy, but if you listen in class and take notes, then you shouldn't have any problem with passing her class. She's pretty fun though and talks alot!
for a political science teacher, you could say that she is good. although her lectures are super boring that will make you sleepy(literally!) her tests are all essays that is mostly from her lecture... so if you plan to sleep, get a tape recorder!!!
Sooooo opinionated. If you argue, or make even a slight point against her, don't think she'll let you off easy. If you're as liberal as her, you'll probably like the class.
I dont know why everyone complains so much. She is not a HARD teacher. I didnt study at all for the final OR midterm and pulled A's. All you have to do is go to class and pay attention. Read what she tells you to read. Shes not the Easiest but not HARD.
Great teacher! Smart, funny, realistic and honest! Gave smart, straight-forward lectures and told you things no in the book. No multiple choice! 5 pg research paper on federal policy! You have to read a lot! CAUTION! Have to buy 3 books! Tough on attend.
She's a teacher that likes to go off and talk and talk and talk forever. Go to class! She knows her stuff and is a great teacher overall. Her quizzes are HARD! Man, even I had trouble with those but did well on the paper, midterm and final = no sweat.

She's tough but forces you to think and learn. I actually had her 6 years ago, but it says something that I still remember her. Work hard and do what she says and you'll be fine.
She knows her stuff. All you have to do is listen to her in class and know whats going on. She does tend to talk about random things. Get the 9/11 Commission Report, you can bet it is going to be on her final. MAKE SURE YOU TURN IN ALL ESSAY'S GIVEN!!!!!!
I wasn't looking forward to this class, but it turned out to be one of my favorites. I learned so much. Her stories are great! I love hearing teachers' real-world experiences. She's always willing to discuss a topic with you. It's a challenging class. I loved it!
she is a funny woman. i ended up dropping her class, but only because of the topic. it was on foreign policy of the us with other countries. i was bored out of my mind, but only from the content of the class. shes a great proffesor. AWESOME STORIES OF HER EXPERIENCE!
Well,if I had known her test were never based on lectures,then I would have gotten an A.She doesn't teach,she just BLABS.She is nice to people,though.I took this class while I was in High school so I was a "baby" when it comes to political terms.You MUST know ALot b4 taking this class.

An ok teacher.if you are a slacker, dont expect to pass even though she hardly gives homework...MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR PAPERS or else AUTOMATIC FAIL...shouldnt be hard if you do that..studying for quizzes can be confusing at times cuz she doesnt always specify what to study. funny but sarcastic too
This woman has the abilty to digress and talk about nonsense like no other. I didn't learn one thing in her class because her lectures suck. She wants you to learn from the book and doesn't even specify what to read. There's no hw but you have to do the papers.
I do admit that she can get a little bit boring, but she's fair and easy. I didn't read her books and got a good grade in her class, you just need to get on her good side
She knows her stuff, test are short answer, NOT multiple choice. Difficult at the beginning, tests are based mainly on definitions from the book, also with minimal information from the lectures. Assignments are not hard, but you have to WORK to get an A. Not a class for slackers.
She's not an easy teacher, but as long as you take GOOD notes, you'll do fine on the quizzes. Quizzes are based on lecture and Final is based on Book. Both are short answer and essay on selected reading material. Not Easy, but work hard and you'll get an A.
i often wondered while sitting in this womans class how may time she had told each of her stories, well she told each one at least 3 times, i dont know if see did so to drive the point home (doubtfull) or if she simply didnt realize she had already told us. my recomendation is take another teacher
My family member took her when she first started and was not permanent. She is now permanent and her attitude has changed.Ms. Williams suffers from an egotistical problem. So sorry that people get in the door and then the real them come out. Beware of this class.
BEWARE OF THE LECTURES IN THIS CLASS. It was a rare thing for her to actually talk about relivant issues to the material. Although she herself is a nice person, she needs to work on her teaching skills. Patience is a must in this class.

She knows her stuff, she actually made policy (unlike most of her fellow PS teachers, who have basically just taught all their lives). I back her.
Here's the routine: She woddles into class with an evil grin on her face, plops herself down behind the desk, and then gives a meandering and aimless lecture that has nothing to do with what she'll test you on. Then you'll spend the rest of the semester complaining to your friends about how bad her class sucks.
Some material given in this class was helpful.But you almost have to read her mind to find out what she wants on your term paper. Even if you participate she is still a hard grader.She loves to hear herself lecture!
Dr. Williams had to be one of the best teachers I have ever had. She taught me so many theories that will be useful at UCLA. I highly recommend you take her, she is brilliant. I mean she’s worked in the state department and all other facets of political arena….PCC is very lucky to have her because she is overqualified to be teaching at a JC leve
Horrible!!! She doesn't talk about what is on the test. She talks about her own life. She forces her political views on everyone. You have to study the book cuz she won't tell you. It's so boring!!!!
She doesn't teach in class. She talks about her own experiences. She wants you to use the knowledge to apply to the real world. Study all the terms in the textbook you should be fine. For Spr05, She asked us to read 911report but she didn't mention it later on. The week before final she told us that we would have a paper on it. Tricky.

She's a fair grader and very knowledgeable! Highly recommended!
She enters the class and sits down and rarely moves. So she is always teaching from her desk, which is cool if you want to do sth else in class. This is the perfect class for those who has to take pol sci as a requirement, but does not want to study it as a career. She rarely gives homework which is pretty easy and she just talks about whats going on right now which sometimes can be cool cause its more interesting. She is nice and funny or tries to make it that way.
okay..first of all, whoever says shes boring...YOU ARE BORING!!! I mean who doesn't want to learn about current events and have her explain to you the significance of it and still manage to teach you about political science?Honestly...do you really want a stiff teacher whos all notes??! A great subject, just not with this teacher. She goes off on tangents for most of the class period and does not organize the semester very well. Easy grader though, but if you want to learn something don't take her.

Okay, so she may go off on tangents sometimes, but the class is easy. All you have to do is memorize a few key terms and pay attention to half of her lecture. Skim the book and you'll be fine. If she offers extra credit, take it. She may not have been that interesting, but the material is.

I highly recommend this class to anyone who loves cuckoo birds because the first time I saw her (and every single time after that, actually) she just had the most amazing resemblence. If not, you will basically learn nothing and sit through torture I MEAN boring lectures.
she was not a really good teacher. boring, unclear, and to much reading. the only best thing about this teacher is that you can sleep really peacefully and she wont wake you up. the students who wrote good comments about this teacher were prolly nerds or majoring in this subject
her lecture is hard to undrstant cuz she talks a lot about the current news.the tests/quizzes arnt hard as long as u know the main concept and voca about the book.
i took her class over a year ago & i still talk about how horrible it was.I learned what kind of car drove how she drove how her parents died, where she went on vacation & how many great things she did in politics but i didnt learn a thing about political science and she actually scoffed at us when we asked what we should study for on the midterm!
Exams are very difficult and almost all of the questions are based on the book. Lectures don't really cover much of the exam material. She is very difficult, however you can learn a lot about political science, due to her background.
Well, she's a talker, and sometimes goes on and on. On the other side, she's got a lot of expertise in government which she brings into her teaching. I found that fascinating, and she's helpful one on one.
Worst teacher i've had at PCC so far. Do not take poli sci 6 unless you are majoring in it, and don't even take her if you can. She gives literally zero preparation for the tests. She assigns 4 books. Horribly boring, annoying, unfunny. But she has lots of experience, which is useful for majors.
She is a really hard teacher, her and I didnt get along. She practically never uses the book and her tests/midterm was horrible...i didnt stay for the final...had to drop....she knows her stuff thats true so if your really into polotics she could be ok... but i dont reccomend her

I thought she'd be incredibly tough. She wasn't. I admit, we never used the book, and she didn't tell us anything about the test beforehand. I failed the midterm, probably got a D on the Final. Did the essay's I had to, and did pretty decent on the project. I got a B. She's not bad at all. I recommend her, for sure.
Don't use the book much. It's a college course! You're supposed to read the books on your own, and discuss it during discussion. This class is mainly aimed at PoliSci majors. This professor is full of knowledge, take advantage of her!
HORRIBLE TEACHER! i did not learn a single thing in her class..all she talked about was her vacation trips and personal life stories when she shouldve been teaching POLSCI! no syllabus given..midterm is based on the reading of the 911 book which is ridicously a lotttt of pages. if you take her..be prepared to study independently..very unclear and u
She's a very sweet little lady with a bunch of knowledge! The class is hard only because she doesn't make it clear what's on the exams, and questions in the tests are not really that much from the textbook; more current politics and issues. She really stresses thinking on your own - which is great!

williams is easy..dont have to read 9/11 book..have to write a short paper on a chapter...2 quizzes and 2 tests..must come to class..if you''re going to be out i recommend you let her know. she wont mark you absent..her tests and quizzes are short answers..class is mainly discussion, hardly gives out homework..very easy class if you pay attention.

Williams is definately one of the most well informed teachers I have ever had. She is enthusiastic about her subject and has a lot of interesting insights into comparative politics. She can be intimidating but once you get to know her and ask her for help she is really nice.
This woman can talk! her lectures digress off subject almost every class meeting, but i did learn alot from this class.
DR. W rocks! Totally fair teacher. She considers a student's overall performance in grading. I took her (Political Science 1) and I learned a tremendous amount about our country. Although, my knowledge was not reflected in my test-taking, I still achieved a good grade. Dr. Williams just wants to know you are willing to put the effort in.
She is great! Easy to talk, if your grade between a borderline, she will curve it up.
She is a very good professor. She knows how to teach us by using different methods. Her teaching style is unique. The only thing you should concern that it is she sometimes do not give a clear indication for what the test will covered, however, her tests are no very easy. Be prepared!

Williams is a crystal, she can make a so boring couse becomes most brilliant! There are so many students do not intereste in Political science, even some of them only think this is only a worst GE class to serve for UC or Cal State system. I think students should change their previuos opinions after taking Williams class! Best professor forever!
This clas sisnt class, if you study and try, then you get A. If you just finish her assignment that she gives you, you can at least get a B. She is a good person, sometimes moody and sacrastic. I enjoyed enough and got a strong A with 96.7%.Recommended!

DO NOT take her! She sits in her chair the whole time and talks about stuff that isnt related to the topic. You dont know anything that is going to be on the test! for the final i had to review my quiz to try to get something off it. BUT i didnt buy the book and i got a A. 2 take home tests and all tests are short answer. One 3 page paper

She seemed to dislike me in class, outside of class she was very kind. Goes off topic a lot, I really wish she had a lecture plan. I don't know how I did on the final, I would like an A, I learned a lot about the Constitution, but I don't think she taught anyone in the class enough to truly deserve one.

This is the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. She was late everyday, only brought a binder to class, and taught us more about her personal life and dog than anything else. Not only did I learn absolutely nothing, my 4.0 average was completely ruined by her. DO NOT TAKE HER!! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!
You pretty much teach yourself in this class. She doesn't have a lesson plan & talks about anything (like Uncle Ben's rice, snakes, blenders, IBM, etc.), hardly teaches about the subject, & expects you to know everything for the test. The most learning I did was when we had to redo our midterms using the book. Our class average was a 57 out of 120.
If you let her talk about herself and pretend you're interested in what she's saying, she'll be in a good mood. She's actually a pretty cool lady, but doesn't talk about polisci at all. Only her personal experiences, how she knew 9/11 was gonna happen, she met Bill Clinton, etc. She let us have a donut party in class one day though, which was chill
More concerned about telling stories of her life than teaching political science. I know all about her life and her career but literally nothing about government or how it works. If I had FAILED the class I would have taken it again, but with another teacher. Do not take her class unless you have an interest in learning about her.
If you want to learn polisci don't take her. She discusses her opinion on current events and thinks she's the end all authority on it. That's mostly it. If you ask a question that actually pertains to PoliSci she'll trail off and avoid it. +She actually says MMkay like Mr. Mackey from southpark..

Talks for the whole 2 hours of class, mainly about current events and her life. Very boring. Her lectures are somewhat about the chapters in the book but ALWAYS trails-off and talks about her experiences. Assignments- quiz, paper, midterm, and final. Nice teacher , hard test.
After taking this class I realized that this teacher tries to bring out the intelligence of her students the hard way. Take this class only if you like to sit for 2 hours and listen to a prof talk about her experiences and her life. The tests are hard unless you can memorize a whole book in a semester, or if you know a lot about polsc.
Williams is the worst professor I've ever had. Class consisted of her talking about her dog and Somalia, like I care about either. Then she assigns like 10 chapters of HW to do in 2 weeks, with no tests or extra credit, just a final. Plus her lectures are extremely boring. If you value your GPA and sanity, DO NOT TAKE!!!
Amazing Prof. shes funny and i like that she wraps political science around current events. You DO have to read the book but isnt that what we are in school for, to read and learn and not have a prof feed us answers. I got an A and I think shes a good prof.

Doesn't teach! Doesn't cover ANYTHING for the tests. Treated classtime as her social hour. Briefly mentions things in book and thinks her job is done. Not fair since her tests are overly thorough! Yes you're in college and should read on your own, but it's the teacher's job to enhance the reading. Class was a COMPLETE waste of time! Why go if the tests have nothing to do with what is "taught"? she means well but this is academia not social hour at the ritz carlton. i actually felt dumber leaving her class than entering it. her books were extremely interesting but the class didnt have a structure and i ended up reading one chapter for the final. midterm and finals are take home..thank god

Lenient in grading tests and open to test suggestions like open book or take home. Read the book on your own to pass the test, few tests and even less HW. Class is used for talking about current events, barely any correlation to tests or your grades.

Williams knows politics from every angle, and teaches from her real world experiences from working in several different offices in DC. You will need to keep up with current events, I suggest using twitter to keep up with the NY times, and LA times, might want to add in Washington post as well.
Possibly one of the most boring teachers at PCC. With that said, this class is super easy. 3 tests - all open book/notes. She requires one trip to the Japanese American National Museum and a 3-5 page write up of it. Easy class, but super boring. She goes off topic A LOT, which makes it worse. Williams is an interesting person because her past leaves her with many stories to tell. Knee issues render her unable to move about a lot. Not clear about what is taught, usually just goes off on an interesting rant. Wish she had a class structure, as I'm so confused as to what to study. Final is a potluck/paper. Not for poli sci majors, EASY A.

I took this class in 2005.The 9/11 report was released.Ms. Williams seemed nice enough.But it was far from true.She made us read the BS report and write obscene reviews of it.She took out her liberal angst on me for defending a housing development in Altadena that she hated.Maybe she is jaded now after seeing how awful our gov. really is.A D?! This teacher seems interesting, but maybe she thinks so by herself. the lectures are off topic. the mid term and final are all take home test. and the constitution quiz is open book.Also needs to go to a Japanese-Amereican meusem to write a reflection paper. If anybody has anything to say negative about Williams you shouldnt be in college. She is by far the easiest professor, in the sense she doesn't drown you in useless homework. You learn if you're willing to. Don't forget, poli Sci IS a current event topic. So obviously she's going to discuss such things.
She's a great professor!! She's really easy if you take notes. She makes it easy for us students to understand. You have 3 exams (all take home) constitution quiz, midterm, and final. And a paper based off of the Japanese musem you visit. If you get to know her, you'll find out what a sweet person she really is.
Best teacher I have had at PCC, extremely straight forward in lecture. No busy work at all. What she talks about is what is on the test no frills. It does require some critical thinking but this is college get use to it. Very sweet, she always remembers you once you've taken a class and consistently will greet you in the hall if she sees you.

It's a little boring and her test questions are kinda tricky but she's a nice lady and the stuff is all take-home (no homework, only tests and a paper) We need more professors like her to teach GE courses! I don't see how you could fail her class if you do the work.

PRO: tests are take home, tests are all from lecture+textbook, she's funny and nice, she's very intelligent and has many experiences to share, open to questions and discussions, doesn't mind tardiness or phones, you will learn a lot. CON: class consists of long lectures that could bore you even if what she's saying is interesting
For our class, exams were not take home, and she takes forever to give back papers. Very hard to get a good grade in this class. Take Uranga instead if you want an "A".

Not an easy class. If you're looking for an easy A just drop it now. Challenging course but very interesting, not long either and she tends to be a few minutes late. Passed this class with an A. All tests are take home, but she does not believe in multiple choice.. So you actually get to use your brain! Recommend her for pol sci majors and if you value your education!
Take her and enjoy yourself during the semester. She is super knowledgeable and super nice person!!!!!! I was so scared at the beginning cuz I was worried I will not do well. However, all you need to do is to write very limited quantity papers and write them with your very own view. She loves to teach anybody who wants to learn. She rocks!!!!!!!!!!

Extremely easy class. There's no homework, only three TAKE-HOME exams and two papers. Lectures tend to get a little boring, but she is well versed in the subject she teaches. She's very kind and approachable. Take her if you want an A.
EASY!Take home tests, papers and final. I did not buy the books. I went to the library, spent 4-5 hours, and finished the quizzes/tests there. She talks a lot about her self and her experiences, might get boring. She will remember you if you participate. Take some notes here and there. TAKE HER :)
Hard class, requires a lot of writing. Tough on the grading and not very generous with the grades.
One of the most intellectual Professor I've had the pleasure of meeting. Pushes students to think. Reading is required and very well worth it. If you're a poli sci major, this is the professor to take before going to the big leagues.
She was late to many of the class sessions and made no preparations for class. Easy A, but I learned absolutely nothing from her class because she did not bother teach the material; she talked about her life instead. There was virtually no class lecture. This is by far the worst class I have ever had.
i never knew what was true that came out of this prof's mouth. she tells a lot of stories of her life that have nothing to do with polisci. it felt like she was piggy backing on my afr. amer. history class but got most of the facts wrong. avoid this teacher.
SOoooooooOOOoooOOOOoOOo boring! Yes, she has 4 take home quizzes and that is it. She is very easy but SOOO insanly boring that I remember the exact layout of the classroom and every position of everything ever AHHH. If you want to have th eeasy boring class TAKE HER, she is too preachy for me.

Prof. Williams is very, very nice. I took her for PoliSci 1 and enjoyed it a lot, her subjects and tests were pretty easy so I thought it would be the same for 6 - I thought wrong. There are no tests. Just executive summaries and they are extremely confusing, especially when her TA grades them all. Overall, I like her, didn't like the class.
This class is SOOOOO boring, even math seem more interesting to me now. The professor talk mostly about stories happened in her life, and THINK we are interested. Took during summer session and didn't bother to buy the book. Went to the library and search certain words in the glossary section, then just read certain pages.
Very bored class if you take with this teacher; easy for some students with taken home test. Take a pillow.
Not as hard of a class as everyone says. All the work is done at home, including tests/quizzes. VERY CLEAR with what she wants turned in. Don't follow her instructions and she'll mark you down and ask you why you even bothered with such answers. Lectures are hit or miss, usually boring. She's very intelligent however.
teacher doesnt teach the material. She doesnt even go over the syllabus the first day. She mainly just talks about her life and expects you to read the material and take quizzes home. She will give you some attitude if you misinterpret the directions and dont pront the cover sheet right. I wish I could switch teachers.
The most boring class I have ever taken in my life. She just talks for hours about history in such a monotone voice, I could not handle it dude. Easy A, because all of the quizzes and tests even finals are take home but do me a favor and save yourself from the boredom.
Professor Williams is a really nice lady. Her class was so easy. Every class was just lecture and notes. Yes, her lectures were a bit was boring however, there is no homework and all of her exams are take home. Get the exam off of canvas, do it, print it out and bring it to class when it's due. Easiest class to pass!

Stuff?? Avoid if you hate reading boring textbooks because that's what you'll be doing to be able to cite answers in the "easy" take home tests.
Nice person but not as a professor. You always don't know what she wants for the paper, she expects you to know all of what she wants. So you won't know how to do it in the right way. LOL no kidding Orz.. Also, you will know you mid-term grade a week before final. Good luck if you take her..
She's a good teacher, but gets side tracked easily. She loves Veterans, so if you're a Veteran student take her. We only had 3 test, but they were all pretty simple clear and easy.
She gives you a few online tests. Thats all. Pretty much no Homework or anything like that. You can ask questions but because she lectures without a slideshow or anything, you need to either record her speaking or take very quick notes. She is very nice when it comes to answering questions, though.
Professor Williams has no idea what shes doing as a professor. The lectures are long, and she spends most of her time talking about her own personal experiences rather than actually going over the material in the material. Constantly missing class, and constantly late. Don't waste your time with her class.
Boring lectures, and when I say boring I mean BORING. Other than that everything was online, it was a midterm, final, and one paper. You need the book!!!!

I am a polisci major and I highly recommend you do not take this course. You only learn how to do an executive summary in the worst possible way. She returned midterms class meeting before final, didn't explain final, lectured off topic, graded as she pleased. Need textbooks for assignments but won't discuss material. Not worth it.
Lacks objectivity when it comes to the material and grading. She pushes Power Transitions theory without EVER exposing students to the three main paradigms in International Relations. What's the point of taking an intro class if students aren't exposed to the basics? If you want to actually learn, look elsewhere. No, I'm not exaggerating.
unorganized teacher. did not record student's score in the canvas database and the student suffer for a lower grade even tho the student deserved a higher grade. talk about herself all the time. waste of time. don't take this class, you're not even learning. if you take her, know that you risk of missing a test score in overall grade
All three tests were take homeopen book. We didn't get our grades on the first two before we had to take the third. One paper was assigned. I had an A in the class from the first two assignments. Our final gades came out a month after the college's due date. She gave me c's on the last two, giving me a b- in the class. I am going to contest.
She missed more than several classes, and the days she did show up she was always late. She came on time TWICE, no joke. I was so disappointed with this class; I didn't learn anything from it. She just rambles about non-polisci stuff. The highest grade in the class according to the Canvas was a "B." I'm going to appeal my grade and so should you.
Nice lady but I could've passed wo having ever gone to class since lectures had NOTHING to do with tests. You MUST HAVE BOOK to pass as all take home tests material comes from it. Boring, yes but extremely knowledgable and I learned a lot by listening to her. Wouldn't take if PoliSci is major though. Overall easy A is you read book and write well
Okay this teacher has very long lectures that has nothing to do with the tests. The tests are take home which is AWESOME. Gives only two papers, and expects you to go to a field trip to a museum which was fun. Basically if you want an easy class, she's the one. Yes, you won't learn anything but you can get over this general Ed class easily.
Her lectures didn't have much to do with the material, but there's no homework and we had a take home final that consisted of 2 essays that were pretty easy (6 pages). I enjoyed her lectures regardless and had her for 2 classes.
Prof williams is a nice person. But did i really learn anything this semester? Not really. All you have to do is show up, sit, and listen to her talk for an hour about random stuff. So it wasn't a hard class at least since the tests were take home. So if you want an easy A or B take her class.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ANYTHING ABOUT POLITICAL SCIENCE. By far the worst professor I've had yet. She doesn't teach; she lectures about her personal life and tries to push her beliefs and views on you. On the "bright" side this was the easiest class I've ever taken. 4 open book take home exams, no homework. Terrible teacher.
She was trying to sale an ideology she believes is the best, just bias. Must read the book in order to pass your take home tests, google will not help fyi. Never missed a class due to the fact i was scared to miss something, but overall she is a really nice professor!
Professor Williams was by far had the easiest class I have taken at PCC. She would show up to late and then just talk about her life most of class. No homework, doesn't take attendance, and 3 take home tests. All you need is the book and to turn in your test on time and you'll get an easy A!
Professor Williams is pretty laid back. She rambles the whole class so you don't learn much, but her class is pretty easy. Had her during the election and we had interesting conversations about that. 3 take home tests so just get the book and its an easy grade.
took this class & was amazed at how much she wont stop talking about herself... thats all the in class portion is. BUT the homework: she only ended up assigning 2 things, which was chill(1 midterm 1 final), but it was complex & SUPER tedious, and i ended up pulling all-nighters because of the lack of instructions & she only gives you like 48 hours

EASY A FOR POLITICAL SCIENCE 1. ALL TEST/FINAL/PAPERS/MIDTERM ARE TAKE HOME. EASY GRADER. I HAVE 97% AND I PUT LITTLE EFFORT. DOESNT TAKE ATTENDANCE. (: SHE DOES TALK ABOUT RANDOM STUFF BUT IF YOURE JUST TAKING TO FILL A REQUIREMENT ITS SUPER EASY.
She rambles about many different things. I didn't learn anything about politics. She mostly just tells stories. However, it was an easy A.. Everything was take home. 1 Quiz on the constitution (all questions googlable), 1 Mid-term, 1 three page assignment on the Japanese American Museum (Didn't actually have to go), and the final was take home.
This class is an easy A. Teacher just sits and talk about herself. No PowerPoint, textbooks or anything. Super boring but so easy. She never takes roll either. There was a total of 4 assignments. All take home, including midterm and final. She also accepts late wok at the end of the semester. Ended with 102% because of her extra credit.
I got an A on her class for Fall 2017 Semester. All you have to do is show up or not show up to class (she literally wont check attendance, only in the beginning), finish the assignments/midterm/final online using the internet to help, and youll be fine. Easy A, super boring class but shes very interesting if you listen to her lectures
She's sweet. We were only graded by a quiz, midterm, paper and final. So try your best on these few things even tho the class doesn't require much effort. No homework. Her lectures tend to go off topic many times, but she has many interesting stories that she tries to compare to upcoming assignments.
Horrible professor, among one of the worst I've ever taken at PCC. If you're a student who cares little for their education and need to get this class over with, this is the perfect professor for you. Be ready to have your time wasted and to fall asleep in class. I don't have my overall grade but all grades above a B and I've been to class 4 times
I took charlotte Williams for political science in the spring and she is very easy. Take home tests making it easy just to find a group of people and work on it together. We also only had to do one paper that involved us going to the Japanese American museum. Doesn't really take role after the first week and it's a chill course. I got an A
This class was so boring. She does not have powerpoints but she just talks all class just reading out of the textbook, be prepare to bring something to do to pass the time. Her tests are all take home so they're very easy. The final is take home as well. Definitely an easy A if you have patience. She does not take attendance.
If you want to learn, make an effort to pay attention in class and complete the readings. It will help you beyond this class.
Prof. Williams is really into her politics and is great at explaining them. She does not have power points and barely writes on the board but that been said her exams were not hard at all! Its honestly just a quick search online & a quick reading its not hard! 2 exams were written and one reseach paper. Take her class she's not hard she's fair!
The easiest class Ive ever taken in my entire life. She took roll for the first couple of weeks, then never again. I skipped class for over two weeks and passed with an A. Midterm and final exams are take home, you know what that means. One paper on Jap. Am. museum that I never went to, received an A. Take her and get it over with.
She 's an extremely educated and experienced professor. She makes learning very easy and interesting. There is a lot of studying, this is a heavy subject.
Easy class! She took all my late work and is super understanding! She is funny and tells stories about herself and her political career for the first few weeks. She is retiring this year as far as I know, but I am so glad I got to take her class and learn from her in her last semester.
