Very nice professor. have to go to class to give notes and the lectures are kind of long but will give you a study guide before the test that gives all the topics that will be on the test. easy extra credit opportunities. would definitely recommend her.
Professor Adams is wonderful. She is a very sweet and understanding woman who wants to see everyone do well. I dropped LGS 200 last semester when I took it Turner, but Adams gives super useful study guides (the test questions come off the study guide verbatim) and easy extra credit opportunities. TAKE HER CLASS! Best LGS 200 teacher, hands down.
She is a great teacher. She makes the class interesting, even though the material sometimes isn't. She gives great examples of the concepts she's teaching in class. The class is not easy, and she does move quickly, but if you have any questions about the tougher concepts she's always willing to explain it more in a different way. GO TO CLASS
This was my best class this semester. She's a super helpful teacher, and explains the material well. You have excellent extra credit opportunities, so take advantage! I would take her again if I could. Tests are exactly like the study guide.
Ms. Adams is one of my favorite teachers ive had at UA. Her lectures are very clear and easy to understand. Not to mention that the study guides are EXACTLY like the exams. She doesnt try to trick students, which makes her so respected. She also gives tons of extra credit. I would 100% take her class again if I could. I recommend taking her class!!
Best LGS 200 teacher out there. Highly recommend taking her if you can. She's very helpful and actually cares about how well you do. Offers a lot of extra credit as well. I would highly recommend going to class everyday as she'll give extra points there too.
Really great teacher and clearly presents the material that can sometimes be pretty boring. Tests come straight from the study guide, study it, and you'll make an A
She's the best legal studies prof out there. Study guides are given each of the 4 tests including final (which isn't cumulative) and the tests are pretty much copy and pasted. She also gives extra credit. She tries to make class interesting and knows what she is talking about. Without a doubt take her for this class.
EVERYTHING on Adams's tests is covered in the in-class notes, which she also posts to blackboard! Be careful about the homework, which is all due at the end of the semester, but even if you procrastinate it's no biggie because it's all very brief and easy! Show up to class, take notes, and I'll be shocked if you don't get an A.
SOOOOO easy. Homework is a joke, I did the entire semester's worth in an hour using the free 14 day trial-aka save your money and don't buy the code. You don't need the textbook. Gave 75 extra credit points while I had her. She posts study guides that are exactly the test. If you take any notes in class, simply write down the examples.
Great teacher, really makes legal studies interesting. She takes attendance everyday so show up. Also, gives lots of extra credit opportunities and homework is super easy. As long as you show up and spend some time studying for her tests its an easy A.
Lectures can be long but taking her class is well worth it. The class before a test she reads off the test and tells you everything that's on it. I didn't pay attention very much on normal class days, but thanks to the review days I knew the answers on the test basically word-for-word. She makes it clear and easy, doesn't require much work.
I thought she was cool. The lectures weren't bad. She occasionally cracks a good joke or two. The homework is very easy and you have all semester to finish it.
Loved her!! She is so sweet, funny, down to earth, and will help you if need be. She gives out plenty of extra credit opportunities and always lets you out early. She's a really awesome professor and I hope I get to take another class with her!! Chose her!
Material is very easy and boring. This is just a very easy and boring class. Charlye is very knowledgable and helpful, and will work with you on anything. She offered bonus for attendance and she gives study guides for each exam.
Great teacher! Tests are clear cut from the study guides, homework is easy, and isn't due until end of semester. Requires you to attend a trial at the County Courthouse, but it's actually a really cool experience. If you do the little amount of work, and study, you'll make an A easily. Not to mention you can get a ton of extra credit
Love Ms. Adams. Her experience and personality (former Chi-O) make her a professor whose class you'll want to go to. Be sure to study for the tests and do the homework to the fullest extent. You need to learn the subject, but if you struggle the extra credit can completely save your grade.
Took her for LGS200. Super nice woman and the easiest class I've taken at UA. If you look over the study guides and go to class a few times each module you'll get an A in the class.
SUPER AWESOME. She teaches well off of the PowerPoint and then posts them a week before each test. The study guides she provides are incredible in regards to the test. The class itself is not difficult and going to trials is interesting.
I took this class in the summer. She made the material interesting. The tests are very similar to the study guide, and lots of extra credit is given (even for attendance). I definitely recommend to take her class!
She is an amazing teacher and human being. She understands this is an intro class and treats the content as such. Easy A.
Interesting class and so easy. Mrs. Adams gives so many extra credit opportunities that it is hard to not get an a in this class. I just listened to the lectures and didn't take notes, studied the study guides and got a's and high b's on all of the tests. Easy final
Honestly one of the best classes I've taken at UA. Attendance counts toward your grade so show up, but you honestly don't have to pay attention and she lets you out early. She literally reads the test out loud the the day before so go. Use the trial period to do your hw instead of buying the code, the hw and tests aren't related. Take her!!!!
You only have 6 grades for her class: 4 VERY EASY tests, attendance and online homework that you can finish in an hour. She deliberately makes the class very easy but requires you to still show up to class. For the exams, just study the study guide and go to the review session and you WILL get an A+. TAKE IT HONORS IF YOU CAN
Its a boring topic but she knows what shes talking about and does a good job of explaining things. Print off the slides before class and you life will be much easier, although that won't mean you don't have to go to class
She is a really great professor. There are 3 tests as well as a final. There is also online homework; all the answers are online. So, do not buy the textbook. Just do the homework with the free trial. Go to class. Attendance is taken as a grade. There are 5 extra credit opportunities for 5 points each. The subject is boring.. just go to class.
The overall class was okay, but she is a great professor! Study the study guides, do the homework (answers are online), and do the extra credit. Class is mandatory but sometimes she lets class out a little early. Don't buy the book. If you want to do the free trial homework it'll save you a lot of money (wish I would of done that).
Extremely easy class. 4 total tests for 400 points, online homework for 100 points, and attendance for 50 points. Class is out of 550 points with multiple bonus opportunities. She also gives you a study guide before every test with ALL the answers. Not to mention she does touch on interesting things. Super easy but also learned a lot.
Mrs. Adams is great! There material can get boring, but she always includes funny stories to explain it better.
I love this woman so much. She sends a roll sheet around each class so you can just have someone sign you in. She's really funny and gives random extra credit for attendance and up to 25 points of extra credit for writing one page papers. Before the test, she gives a review that is the same exact thing as the test. Take her! So easy!
Great teacher! Though she lectures, there are always entertaining stories and she is very knowledgeable about the subject. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities to ensure you get an A. I would definitely recommend.
I absolutely loved Ms. Adams! She has been one of my favorite professors here at UA so far. She does a review day before each exam, where she tells you exactly what to review for the exam. Lots of extra credit opportunities, too. I took her honors section and the only difference was our class had to go to the court house and watch a case.
Ms. Adams is an amazing teacher. As long as you show up and listen you should get an easy A. The 32 points of extra credit should help too... But while she does make class easy you also learn a lot. Ms. Adams really knows this material well and barely uses the powerpoint slides to teach. Class was always interesting and I feel like I learned a lot.
I love this woman! I would take her for every business class if I could. She is real with her students and cares about them. She explains complicated legal matter in a simple and concise way. If you have to take legal, dont take it with anyone but Mrs. Adams
The class only consists of 4 tests, attendance and online homework. You only have to pay attention the class before the test because she will tell you exactly what you have to know to do well. She also gives out so much extra credit because she wants her students to do well and realizes that this class is not supposed to be hard. 10/10 recommend
Professor Adams wants you to do well, attend lecture and study for the exams and you should have no problem getting an A!
She is a GREAT professor! She really cares about the student passing and gives so much extra credit. If you show up you get rewarded as well.
She's an AMAZING instructor. Tons of information but she makes it easy to understand. She's so knowledgeable and really cares that her students get the information. She's inspired me to start looking into law school. I'd take the class again just cause she made it so interesting with her own stories about her law experience.
Good choice. Lectures are pretty decent. She does a good job lightening up the material. If you show up and listen, you should get As on the tests. The class before the test she reads out a list of topics you need to know. Definitely write this down and study it. Tests are mostly definition. There is extra credit for attendance and other things.
Show up to class for attendance but that is it. Pay attention day before tests as you are given the test in order of questions. Easy and funny teacher.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO READ ANY OTHER COMMENTS JUST TAKE HER CLASS. GO AHEAD. No seriously she gives a ton of extra credit, she basically wants you to pass. She practically is handing an A+ to you throughout the entire semester. Take her class you won't regret it!
Professor Adams is the BEST professor at UA!!! She makes the class interesting and simplifies the material so it is easy to understand. 4 tests during the semester and the lowest one gets dropped, but I get A+ on each test because the day before the test she tells you EXACTLY what will be on it. TAKE PROFESSOR ADAMS SHE IS THE BEST!!!
She is an awesome teacher and makes the content really interesting. As long as you go to class, you will know everything for the test, and she does a review the class before a test.
I loved this class! SOOO easy. No reason not to make an A+. Didn't have to buy the book; everything is from her lecture. She does a review before every test and tells you the exact questions that will be on the test. I made a 100 on every test. She lets you drop a test so I chose to not take the final; I didn't have to go to class after March
Professor Adams is amazing, she really cares abt what she's teaching bc she is a lawyer. Her lectures are great because she includes stories from her time as a lawyer and keeps the class interesting. The class before the test she'll go through the exact test and tell you everything you need to know for the test. Definitely take her class!!!
C.A. is a great professor. Her class isn't that difficult, but I definitely have learned a lot. The class is just tests and attendance points. If you take it honors, you have to go watch a court proceeding - a SUPER easy honors A+
I took her for honors LGS200 and I didn't even know it was honors until halfway through the class. There is no homework outside of class, just study a few days before the tests. She lets you drop one class and if you pick to drop the final, you don't have to come to class anymore after the 3rd test. She is a great prof would totally recommend
Super easy class. Tests are very straightforward. Attendance is mandatory until the third test (out of four) but she lets out early nearly every day. Tons of opportunities for extra credit as well.
Amazing teacher! She gives great examples and is a wonderful teacher. Attendance is taken every day but if you do that, then you'll pass. The class is generally easy if you pay attention. Also, she gives extra credit, lets everyone out early each class time, and no homework. I would absolutely have her as a teacher again! Take her class!!
Professor Adams was a really good professor. None of the material was that hard as long as you review before the exams. She really knows what she's talking about and wants all her students to succeed. Take this course!
Professor Adams was amazing. She is very friendly and interesting. The honors section was graded on four tests, one paper, and attendance. If you showed up every day you got a ton of extra credit and she basically told you exactly what you needed to know for the test. The honors section had to witness an actual court case and write a one-page paper
Take her if you can! She is very clear about what she expects. She makes her lectures very interesting when the topics could be boring. Respects her students and very easy to work with. Easy A+!
3 of the tests are online and there is a noncumulative final. Tests are super easy and most answers can probably be found online. Attendance isn't mandatory but she often gives extra credit on days when people don't show up. She is so amazing.
Loved her! You don't have any homework and tests are online. Before every test she does a review and pretty much tells you everything you need to know. Attendance isn't mandatory and slides are online. Your grade is based off of the four tests (final isn't cumulative) but she gives out plenty of extra credit so it's not bad at all!
She is outright amazing. Tests are not too hard. Review covers the test. Extra credit everywhere. She is the best.
If you can take this class, do it. Seriously. Professor Adams is so cool and her lectures usually don't take the whole class. She's to the point and gives you what you need to know. The tests are online and the only thing you're graded on. There's only 3 including the final and I made a 98 on all of them. Best class ever
Adams is the best, take her!! lectures get out early, sometimes gives extra credit for attendance. You learn a ton even though the class is very chill and not difficult. Test were all online, dont need textbook
I LOVE Charlye !! All exams were taken online, lectures were let out early just about every single time. She offers extra credit attendance and lots of other alternatives for extra credit. Definitely one of my favorites !
Great teacher, Easy A+
Charlye Adams is the BEST! Everything is online as well. Easy A!
Mrs. Adams did her best to make the class interesting, despite dry material. She's straightforward, tells you what you need to know for the tests, and she's pretty funny. I'd recommend showing up, because she'll sometimes give extra credit for attendance, which is helpful because these are the only grades you can get aside from tests.
All slides are uploaded online, attendance optional, all tests are given online, the only class grades are the test There was random extra credit given out some days if you attended class, and you should show up the day before tests for the review, but otherwise the class is super easy and you can get an A+ even if you skip 20-30% of the classes
Charlye is a must take to get rid of the LGS requirement. There are 4 exams in this class, each being worth 25% of your grade. The final exam is not cumulative, which is nice. The lectures are interesting, but never mandatory. She posts all the notes online. The best part is that all the exams are taken online, so you can use notes/internet.
Great teacher who really cares about her students and how they do in her class. No homework and she gives extra credit points sometimes for attendance.
If you're taking LGS200, you NEED to take Adams' class. Her exams are online, she loves to give extra credit if you go to class, and she doesn't use the massive textbook that the other professors do. In lectures, she tells you what is on the exam. She makes it easy to be successful and everyone ends up with good grades in her class. Take Adams!!
Only graded on tests, but they are online and open book and can be taken anywhere. Material is only based on the slides she uses in class, which she provides (she does move very quickly through these slides). She likes to make up special examples for the different scenarios, and these are important to remember for the test. EC if you go to class
Easy A+!! Grading is based solely on 4 *AT-HOME* online exams (50 MC on each). 2 extra credit points for attendance given on days when the classroom is too hot, too empty, after an exam, etc. so I got 10 free points total! Also, Charlye is super chill and nice. 100% recommend Charleye if you want to easily finish the LGS 200 requirement.
This class had 4 tests online by yourself. That was it, you didn't really have to go to class, but you want to. She is a great teacher and you will actually learn things in her class. She gives extra credit sometimes in class just for showing up. She's so sweet and will always talk to you if you want.
Charlye truly cares about students and makes the class as easy as possible so everyone succeeds. All the notes are online so you don't have to go to class, but her real-world examples help because the test questions are scenarios. Lectures are quick and she always lets out early.
Charlye is so sweet! She gives extra credit if you show up and always goes over what will be on the test. Go to class and you will do well!
Mrs. Adams is the best professor I've had. She wants you to succeed. She teaches you only what is important and what she thinks you need, despite what traditional curriculum may provide. She tells you what will be on the exam, offers extra credit, gives useful lectures, and is always available to help you. I don't know how she could be any better!
Professor Adams is such a boss lady. She knows the material like the back of her hand, but she does not expect you to also know the material that well. I loved going to her class, and her tests were very easy with clear study materials.
Dr. Adams is so nice! Attendance isnt required & tests were easy if you studied her powerpoints. Only 4 tests all semester. No homework/extra assignments or anything. Very straight forward and interesting. She knows what shes talking about!
She was great! Very considerate and gave a lot of extra credit for showing up to class! Tests were not that difficult and there was no homework. If you pay attention you should have no problem with her!
Charlye's lectures are very dense with material and examples, so as long as you take good, quick notes to study, you will do well. Gives extra credit for attendance sometimes. She is very intelligent and has tons of expirence, she is a great contact to have if you want to get into legal studies and she is always willing to help. Fantastic professor
A fantastic lecturer! She keeps things moving and gives really good examples to help get the points across. Her exams were all lecture-based, multiple-choice and open-note. There was no homework, and she almost always let the class out early. Plus there was random extra credit just for showing up. Loved her class, and you will too.
Adams is a great lecturer who really knows her stuff. Brought up many examples from her own law experience which helped me understand concepts. Talks pretty fast but posts notes online before class. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives extra credit if you go. Tests are online and not in person. Class got out early every day. 100% recommend.
Amazing professor. No homework, only grades are tests which she does a review for and tells you everything you need to know. Tests are online. Lectures are interesting and she gives extra credit for coming to class. Wants her students to succeed and I would definitely recommend taking her class.
Prof Adams is one of my favorite people at UA. She is hilarious and will go out of her way to help students. Attendance isnt mandatory, but she gives extra credit for showing up to class. Her exams were online, and open note. There was not one single homework assignment all semester. As long as you listen and read over the slides, youre fine.
I love Charlye! She is the best professor I have had on this campus and she actually makes the topic interesting. Class usually ran under time, and although attendance isn't mandatory she gives occasional extra credit for those who go! If you're in the honors college, take her for LGS!
Professor Adams gives great lectures. Gives extra credit for attendance sometimes which is nice and doesnt give homework.
I LOVE PROF ADAMS! You get bonus if you go to class and all of the test questions are on quizlet. She also is very entertaining so the lectures are not boring if you go. She gives no homework, so your grade is based entirely off of the four exams. Overall, a great and non stressful class. Definitely take her if you can.
Best professor ever. She made the material so interesting with her personal law experience. Very likable and conversational, beloved by all her students. No homework, just exams you have to study hard for. Not bad at all if you go to class and take thorough notes. Extra credit if you go! Only negative is that she talks ridiculously fast!
her lectures were so good. they were relevant to her tests, and she would tell you what you should study for the tests. she's not a hard grader, just make sure you know your stuff for the test. i absolutely adored her!
I love Charlye! She is very educated in what she's teaching and very clear in her lectures. Fast talker though. The only grades in her class are 4 tests and some bonus for coming to class. Her reviews give you exactly what you need to know for the tests.
Charlye Adams is amazing!!!!! Attendance is not mandatory, but I would attend class because she gives answers to the tests, tells you exactly what is going to be on the test, and gives extra credit sometimes for coming! She knows what she is talking about and is very passionate about her lectures. I would not want to go against her in court.
Professor Adams is a great professor who is straightforward with her class work. Graded by solely the tests given, but she prepares you if you attend lecture. She gives random extra credit throughout year for attending class and is always quick to respond to emails.
The BEST professor ever. I had her for 8 am lectures and she made it worth going to. Not mandatory but worth going because you learn great things.
I would not recommend Professor Adams. She wouldn't add extra credit to my grade THAT I EARNED and therefore I made a B+ and not an A-. She was very rude over email and acted like she didn't care, I went to her multiple times for help and got none. I always went to class and apparently that meant nothing to her. TAKE A DIFFERENT PROFESSOR.
One of the best professors I've had. Business law is hard but she makes it so easy. No attendance or quiz grades, just exams. But, she goes through each test question and tells us what it's about so we know what to study. She is so nice and funny. Her exams are super easy and straightforward.
Tests were pretty easy. She will say what will be on the exam, and everything she says will in fact be on it. Overall great teacher
Great professor. Would take her again. Go to her review days before the exam and she will tell you exactly what is on the exam. Her lectures are engaging and worth going to as well. Overall one of the most enjoyable professors I've had.
Take her!! Only grades are exams and a business module quiz but if you come to the exam review day, she tells you exactly what is going to be on the exam so you know what to study. Attendance is not required but she gives out extra credit sometimes for people who come to class.
She is a very easy grader. She's also a rocket
TAKE HER CLASS. I was in the honors version and it was very easy and clear cut. Go to class and get extra credit, unlike me haha. She is awesome and if you're in the honors college this is a great way to get an honors credit.
She the goat fr
love her!!!! super interesting lectures with lots of funny real-world examples. she talks pretty fast so i recommend typing your notes, but if you take notes and look at the slides, you won't need the textbook. no homework, grade is only based on tests which aren't hard because she tells you exactly what you need to know for the test in the review.
Very funny teacher with amazing lectures with real world examples. Talks really fast so I would voice memo her lectures in case I missed something because she would talk about test examples and then on review day tell us we should know so-and-so examples. If youre in honors college take 201 with adams.
TAKE HER. Professor Adams is not only funny and kind, but she is also super knowledgable. She knows what she's talking about but she makes it all easy to understand. I can't recommend her enough.
Prof. Adams is awesome. This class could have been a lot harder, but she works with you and offers a ton of extra credit if you go to class. She makes the material interesting even though it really isn't. Take this class for an easy A and some cool lectures.
She is great. Class consisted of lectures, tests, and one other assignment that you had the entire semester to complete. Tests are online so they're super easy, and she reviews with you everything that is on the test exactly how it's asked. Attendance is not mandatory but she only teaches in lectures, so you should go to class if you want to learn.
TAKE HER HONORS LGS COURSE!!! So easy, attendance is extra credit. All tests are online and not proctored. She goes really fast, so good luck writing notes, i didnt really learn anything. She gives great examples and it is always a fast class. She is so sweet too!!!!
She is great. The class is all lectures, but attendance isn't mandatory. The tests are all taken online, and one other assignment that you had the entire semester to complete. She does give out extra credit if you go to class.
Charlye is a great professor and she was a lawyer before, so she has lots of interesting examples of the content. She is knowledgable about what she is teaching but goes very fast. She also gives some extra credit randomly for going to class. The test are online but count for 90% of the grade so you have to do good on them. Take her if you can.
This class shouldn't be easy but it is. Her goal is to give you the material and make the tests as easy as possible. She talks for the entire lecture at a fast rate so don't even try to take notes, you won't need them anyways. The exams are open note with a lockdown browser and each question is straight from the lecture slides she gives you.
You literally get to take your tests at home and she randomly gives out extra credit for just being in class. My queen fr fr
Attendance is not mandatory, but she does give out extra credit. Class is graded all on tests and one short assignment, so the course load is extremely light. Definitely the easiest professor you can take.
I really love Dr. Adams! Attendance isn't mandatory, but extra credit opportunities if you do go. Tests are all online at home, she gives great reviews for tests. Definitely take her class!!! Interesting lectures, and very straightforward.
Very easy class, it's all lectures but you don't have to go. 4 tests that can be taken online, usually you have a week to do them, that count for 90% of your grade. The other 10% is one assignment that you have the entire semester to complete. Random extra credit like twice a month just for going to class.
Very easy class, definitely recommend her if you are in the real estate minor and need the elective credit. Her lectures were always pretty good and she is very personable. Willing to write recommendations for grad school and jobs if you ask. Definitely a good experience in this course.
The class is made super easy. The tests are on lockdown browser, and you get a week to take them (do what you will with that info). Extra credit is given randomly in class, so show up cause it helps.
Very amicable and tests are easy. She does exam reviews where she goes through the content of each test question. She also helped me out with my home life issues so she's very kind.
PLS TAKE HER SHES AMAZING!! no homework only test and they are take home and open for a week. can easily pass without going to lecture but she is an amazing teacher who gives good lectures and truly wants you to succeed in life and college. highly highly recommend any class with her
SO EASY AND NICE. Your grade is based on 4 tests, that's it. The tests are online, you have a week to complete them, and 98% of the answers are on Quizlet. I never went to class and I'm ending the class with an A+. If you go to class, she will randomly give you extra credit somedays. Definitely reccomend.
Probably the easiest class at Alabama. Extra credit some days for showing up and un-proctored tests online. Do not take this class with any of the other professors. I have friends in the other sections and they had a bad time!
Very easy class and she is a very good professor! She gives extra credit for attending class and tests are only on locked down browsers but you don't have class the week of the test exams. No other extra work!
The only grades are 4 tests and a final which are all taken online and you have a week to take them. No homework. Attendance isn't mandatory but she gives extra credit random days for going. Her lectures are interesting and she always let class out early. TAKE HER CLASS!!!!
SO EASY AND SO NICE!! If you need to take LGS 200 take her!!!!
She is an amazing professor. She is super passionate about the subject and gives amazing lectures. Your only grades are four test that she reviews before they open. You can take the test online where ever and have a week to complete them. She will also randomly give out extra credit based off attendance, so go to class it's easy.
The best professor you can take for this class. She had real insight in to law and that makes her lectures interesting to listen to. Everyone I know that took it with other professors had frequent quizzes and tests in class. You might be scared by the idea of your grade only being 4 tests, but it's so easy to pass. Best class I've taken.
By far the best LGS teacher at UA. Haven't gone to a single class since the first day and finished with an A. All tests are online and unproctored. No homework
Easiest class ever. All tests are online and not required to be taken in class, even the final. Easiest A.
She is amazing! Keeps lectures engaging and brings in real-world experience from her career in law. Gives extra credit for attendance sometimes and all tests are open for a week and takin virtually. Highly recommend!
She is an amazing Professor! Really cares about her students and is open to any question especially about law school. She uses real life examples from her as a lawyer. Attendance was optional and counted as extra credit. She had no homework and the only grades came from tests, including the final, all of which could be taken online.
Professor Adams was very nice and her lectures are very interesting. Attendance is not mandatory and there were several days where only 25/200 people showed up. There are only four tests that comprise your overall grade. All tests are online, open note, and open for a week. She would typically cancel all classes the week of a test.
By far the easiest professor for LGS 200/201. Her class is a free A+
Easy A+ with minimal effort. Tests are open-book, and there's often extra credit just for showing up. The lectures are worth attending, and using Unstuckstudy alongside the free textbook helps make this a breeze.
She is very chill, and her lectures are pretty interesting because she talks about cases she has personally had. Tests were online, no homework or classwork. Overall a easy good class
She's awesome! She makes it super easy to have a good grade if you just show up and pay attention in lectures, which are never longer than 50 minutes even on TR. Attendance is extra credit so I would recommend going to class because there's never homework so it is the bare minimum. Would 1000% recommend for LGS over the other professors!
Mrs Adam's wow where do I start she is an absolute scholar of the game. I mean it doesn't get much better than this. By far favorite professor (I wish the pepper scale was still on here)
Very lecture-heavy, and the material was fairly dense at times. However, Prof. Adams made this navigable. 4 online multiple-choice tests at home, 100% of the grade. Go to class, as she will occasionally give out extra credit (especially if the class is empty, which it often was for my 8am).
Attendance isn't mandatory but she does give extra credit if you attend, and her slides are very detailed so you don't need the textbook at all. Her exams are online so the class isn't difficult either
She is the goat. All online tests but her lectures are awesome. Can't recommend her more.
Professor Adams is probably one of the best professors I have had so far. She is very caring and nice towards her students. She has heavy lectures, but no homework and all her exams are online. Would take her again if I could.
Prof Adams was great, you could tell she loved her subject. Attendance was not mandatory (I took advantage), but when I did show up she would often give extra credit. Only exams are counted towards the final grade, but they are all online and the tests are very reflective of the lectures/powerpoints.
Great teacher attendance isn't mandatory.
The class is super easy because the exams are all online, attendance is bonus, and there is no HW. She's easy to get in touch with, and you have basically a week to do the exams. TAKE HER!!
She is such a good teacher!!! SH really love her job and wants what is best for her students. You get extra credit for going to class and tests are online and not proctored.
She makes the class very easy. All exams were online, attendance was extra credit, and we had a drop exam. She was super cool and I learned a lot from her class.
Professor Adams is awesome. She gives extra credit towards exams each time you show up to class. She gets straight to the point and lectures straight from the book. She's super engaging and she explains things interestingly enough to where you like going to class and pay attention. Exams are online, no camera, and very easy.
This professor is a lawyer. She had a ton of real life examples. She used powerpoints. Tests were online. I really enjoyed the material!
She never wasted any time. She had all the slides posted before the first class which made it really handy to follow along during her lectures. She clearly explained concepts and always gave examples of laws and statutes. We got out 30-45 mins early every class. Tests aren't that hard if you follow the study guides she gives in class.
If you have to take LGS 201, take it with Professor Adams!! She's the absolute best. There are two exams during the semester and a final. She does not assign any homework, so this class is a breath of fresh air with a heavy courseload. She's also very available to talk to after class; I can't recommend her more.
Absolutely amazing class, if you have the chance to take her please do. Attendance is extra credit and all the exams are online. even if you have her as an 8am take her, it will save your gpa. Seriously couldn't recommend her enough
She's great!! Moves fast and only 4 tests to get graded on. Go to class the day before exams and she will walk you through what is on the test.
She is an amazing lecture. She is super knowledgable, gives real world examples, and has test review days. She goes fast and sometimes ends class early. Grade is based on four online tests over lectures and slides. Attendance is not mandatory, but you get extra credit for attending class.
TAKE IF YOU CAN. switch around your entrie schedule to take her if she has an open seat
