EXCELLENT TEACHER. political science is already a hard class but she makes things easier and understandable. there are three take home exams that determine your final grade and nothing else besides that. she's funny and knows that is not the quantity of stuff covered in the book, is the quality that matters.

Took this class as a summer mini-mester, best decision ever. No papers were assigned, no book was needed, and extra credit was basically handed to us on a silver platter. However, you need to show up everyday, and stay the entire class or you will fail- which is very hard to do. Tests online @ home with two attempts each. Super laid back!

Twitchell is THE BEST HIST/GOVT PROF at lonestar! I took her for HIST 1302, GOVT 2305, and 2306! Her classes fill up so quick so make sure to get her when registration opens. I never liked history until I had her. Her notes are the answers on the test! THEY'RE OPEN BOOK! She informs all her students about what's really happening in America.

I took her online, and my 1 gripe is that she treats her students like babies instead of independently letting us work. I get a text, email, or notification from her multiple times a week, and it's not about pertinent info. It's always her griping about people not spending enough time online or logged into videos. It's like I'm back in highschool.

We required to take note all the time in class with her. It is good because you need to focus all the time to get those notes. However, her class is fun, so keeping focus is not a difficult thing.

Professor Twitchell is the best Professor who is very hilarious and friendly. I am taking her GOVT 2305. There are just 2 tests for the whole semester. She always gives her students many opportunities to get extra credit by KP. I love the way she teaches her lectures in which you feel easier. Take her class and you will not regret.

If you do what is asked of you, you will make an A in this class. Professor Twitchell gives ample amount of opportunity for extra credit and there is plenty of time do do all of the required work. There are 2 major tests and a major project (power point). She is reachable by text and will work with you as long as you are putting in the effort!

I have taken two classes with Professor Twitchell and she is amazing!! Hands down the best History/Gov teacher I have ever had. Her lectures are very informative and interesting. She uses many examples relating to issues occurring in the present time. If you show up every day you will get an A and you will most definitely learn a lot.

She's really GREAT PROFESSOR! She inspires us to study government with hilarious lectures. Caring for student and reviewing before the test. It's very useful to remember what we studied. Posting records of every lecture helps students catch knowledge better. Giving students incentive words to go ahead &amp; helping them to catch their goals. I love her

AMAZINGGGGGG PROFESSOR, I highly recommend ! Shes very understanding, and communicates well so you know whats expected to pass. She will send reminders and make announcements on d2l NOT to be annoying but to make sure her students are updated every message is class related or due dates so you stay prepared for the next class.

I've never had a teacher that made me feel more inspired and cared for. The class is easy, as long as you pay attention and do your assignments, but other than that, it's simple. She's amazing, caring, and you'll never feel like &quot;just a student.&quot; Her humor makes even the most boring parts of government bearable and you might even love it.

I never felt overwhelmed in this class because she always explained topics and assignments clearly. Professor Twitchell kept an open line of communication and was always there to help even with personal problems. Do the assignments with detail as they help on exams . Terrific class!!

My Gosh professor Twitchell is hilarious, she very straight forward but super cool. She lets you know from day 1 what to expect and if you dont come to class you will not pass. I enjoyed lectures especially because she would crack a joke every now and then but I mostly Ive learned so much that I did not know pertaining to History.

She is amazing. Hybrid class was the right fit for me. Easy A. Do homework and she will be happy.

Great Hybrid Class, did learn a Ton! I would definitely recommend her, she is Hilarious! Keep in mind she does her twitchcast with that being said pay close attention to them they are the key to getting good grades for vocab. And you also learn. Also, go to class you will not regret it!

This was one of the best classes that I have ever taken. I took this class on Saturdays and I drove over an hour to get there from Conroe, TX. Professor T made the class very interesting. She is a very caring person. I truly learned a lot in this class. The course load is manageable for those with busy schedules. Do the work and you will pass.

Such an eye opening professor. She was VERY passionate about what she was teaching and made lectures something to enjoy. Tests are over the material covered in the lectures so if you miss, it's up to you to watch her presentations to get the info. Very fun and I would 10/10 take this class again!

Her class was very easy for me. She was super funny in her lectures and her class if definitely an easy A if you just do the assignments. Its basic vocabulary you must get from her videos. Each vocab ws took me about 1.5 hrs so prepare. She is a great choice for online though!

Only graded by vocab (really long and confusing), 2 tests (midterm and final which are cumulative from each section up to each exam) and a PowerPoint which was 20% of the grade. She is a hard professor. I would not recommend this teacher for anyone due to her workload. Switched to a different professor and got an actual grade with different things

I will make this simple for you: if you want to take either hist 1301/1302 or govt 2305, THIS IS YOUR BEST CHOICE. Mrs. Twitchell is such a sweet, compassionate &amp; comprehensive professor that wants you to learn interesting things and pass. We did not have any tests and had to do a vocab once a week where she would post videos talking about them.

I LOVE TWITCHELL!! She was the best history professor I have ever had. She takes her time to record lectures for her online students and actually teach unlike most professors in an online class. The grades were very easy but somewhat a lot of work. You will be prepared for the 2 exams with the vocab assignments. She is awesome! Take her!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best teacher I have ever taken at lone star! She really cares about her students and you can tell in her lectures. After every assignment she gives feedback on what you need to improve on or if you did really good. She is really funny and makes the class enjoyable. I will definitely take her for all of my future history classes!

I took the 6-week summer course, 2 tests which are the midterm, and the final exam and about 5 or 6 assignments. Her class is very easy, you can use your guided vocabs on the tests and most of the material comes from her videos, some you do have to use the provided websites. Highly recommend.

I cannot tell you how awesome Prof. Twitchell is!! I took this class based on the good ratings and was not sure if she was going to live up to them. My first assignment was a mess and she pointed out my mistakes (and gave me another chance). After that, I just followed instructions and learned the material (she makes it easy). Highly recommend!!

Easiest government class I've ever taken. She made it easy to understand and had a low amount of projects for us. She was also very understanding if we were not able to attend so long as you told her in advance.

Professor C, is so caring for her class. Her lectures are interesting and her assignments are easy. She is one of those professors that does not have her class buy any textbooks because she understands her students may not be able to, especially with times right now. You can tell she loves teaching. I definitely recommend for everyone to take her!

I love her. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. I had 50 extra credit points and I did not do all of the extra credit work. Shes amazing! Shes very flexible and truly cares for her students. She is one of the few professors who actually knows how to teach!

I love this professor, she teaches the material very well and her class is always enjoyable. Go to class, take notes, and complete the work before the due date. Early is always better! Extra credit is easy to earn and is understanding about everything really. Put in some effort and you will pass!

This one is good! As long as you aren't slacking and aren't not paying attention you will definitely get an A. There are many opportunities for extra credit, and if you just talk to her about any problem she will work through whatever it is needs fixing. I Would take this professor again most definitely!

She is a very caring and understanding professor. Her lessons are detailed for you to complete your weekly assignments and she provides a textbook online you can use for the assignments too. She is not a tough grader and provides ALOT of feedback on incorrect answers. Shes very good and recommend you take her class!

Professor T was such an awesome professor! In my 8 week course, there were 13 study guides, one midterm, and one final. Everything is super easy if you read the material. The midterm was open notes, and the final was a powerpoint report of the people that represent you. Mine ended up being 93 slides. She wants you to succeed. Take Professor T!

Easy class, easy teacher. All you have to do is watch her videos explaining the lecture and answer the questions for each topic. The only problem was that sometimes she doesn&#39;t talk about a certain topic, but then she asks many questions about this, and she doesn&#39;t allow us to use outside sources except for her videos, which confused me.

Professor Twitchell is an amazing professor and I will be choosing to have her as my teacher for US history 2. I have always been very bad at history, and actually hated history, but with her twitchcasts (lectures) she not only gives you the exact answers you will need for your test but she teaches you in a way that you will enjoy learning.

this professor is so bad at grading, she does not give you the grade you deserve. when you email her about a problem she responds weeks later and not worth it anymore.

Professor Twitchell has been my absolute favorite teacher. She is very kind and also very funny! She always makes the lectures interesting and makes learning history very easy. She only has a mid-term and a final which are very easy if you pay attention in lectures. There are no essays in this class. I wish I can have her as a professor forever.

She WANTS you to succeed. She grades on just notes, midterm, and final. I used to get really bad grades on the notes but she graded them and showed where I went wrong and let me correct 4 of them which boosted my grade up to a 98. Our class didn't even get a final since we were doing so well. She's a great professor I definitely recommend her.

Her lectures are solely based on the videos she provides and you have to take notes on them. She doesnt give enough information to fill out the outlines and expects you to basically write 3-5 sentences per each question. VERY UNORGANIZED CLASSED!!! Please dont take her!!I'm an all A student and this class sooo was so horrible.

I took her due to other reviews and I honestly enjoyed her class. She mainly taught based off of her "twitch" youtube videos, which were very informative and went along with 95% of her assignments. The best way to achieve an easy A is to just do her assignments and communicate with her is any trouble comes up. If you don't, you will fall behind.

I took her during a summer session and online so maybe it is different in person but the differences shouldn't be this pronounced. The lecture videos that go with our assignments barely cover half of the questions and she ONLY wants your answers to be from the videos she provides. very hard to get a response from her and if you do she is rude.

Twitchell made learning history enjoyable and I really enjoyed her lectures. She has a lot of personality and her workload is not too overwhelming. She was also funny and very sweet. I would definitely recommend her!

Prof. T was AMAZING!! Every assignment was based on her tcasts, which were very informative. Every question can be answered using her videos. She also gives a lot of extra credit if you do very well on the assignments! However, the assignments are fairly long but nonetheless easy. My class did so well she didnt even give us a final! Def take her :)

Professor Twitchell was literally awesome!! Her content is always easy to understand and requirements are clear. She gives plenty of opportunity for success as long as you apply yourself. Even a late grade isn't that big of a deal. She's a hoot to listen to in her lectures.

This is the best professor I think I've ever had... she knows what she's talking about and if you just take good notes and actually watch her videos you should receive an A no problem. Also, she hands out extra credit like candy if you're doing the work. Very kind and understanding, take her class if you can! She will take late work too.

Seems nice, talks slow, grades really specific to her words, rambles, says unnecessary and time-consuming things a lot. Other reviews say shes easy on late grades, but not anymore, she does not take them at all unless you have an excuse up to her standards. (This does not include overbearing workload.) I want to like her so much but I can't.

Very heavy course load. She essentially grades your notetaking but this notetaking must match the info from her own lecture videos. Some answers are not in the provided materials.

Really class to take you do all the work. The homework is basically your note taking. Be aware that the homeeork she gives has many parts in it but she gives you a lot of time to finish them. Overall, if you do all the work there should be no problems. She really knows her history. Quick grader, great feedback.

Take this professor! Her twitchcasts are great and funny, I wish she taught all my other classes. She was straightforward from the beginning, if you received a bad grade it was because you did not follow directions. She literally tells you what she expects from you with examples and the assignments are easy if you watch her casts.
