This teacher is aswome!!! Just pay attention in class and you will get a good grade! For people who are scared of public speaking she really makes you feel comforatable! She also gives plenty of time for extra credit! She really tryies to be on the same level as her class She was great!!! wish i could take her every monday, makes mondays better!

Fun teacher, nice person, very animated! She likes what she does and cares about her students. Teaches lessons that could be applied to everyday life. Easy class even if you are afraid of public speaking.

Easy class. If you are ok with speaking in front of people then you are fine. She likes to talk alot about dating but seems to tie it into the topic. Very animated and enthusiastic. Do the outlines and speeches and your good.

Charmin is very cool and lively. The class is easy if you know how to speak and are open to her suggestions you will do well. She became upset a couple times but that's only because people are idiots so it's completely understandable. :)

This class was a lot of fun. Maybe it was because all the people in the class (only had about 20 students) were really fun and entertaining. overall the class was the only class i actually never skipped. HAHA but ya it was good times.

Lindholm is very nice and funny. You have to keep up with the work, and stick to her plan, but it's all good if you do. I totally was dreading public speaking, but with her, it's not as hard as I thought it would be. There are 3 major speeches and a lot of impromptu's. Plus you have to do a few outlines. You watch some videos. Overall great teacher

Lindholm's personal issues overshadows any good. I learned ABOUT communicating, but the experience was NOT positive. Her "plan" is textbook definitions made into power points & 11pg speech preparations. She openly makes fun of students, & shares too much personal info. There is definite favoritism in her class - DO WITHOUT, there are better options

Charmin is a great teacher. She is very straight forward and expects nothing less than effort from all of her students. The assignments are fun and very useful. This class was fun to go to and she shows a lot of videos that apply to what we learn. I would take one of her classes again!

Charmin has a great personality and is outgoing, she makes it clear what she expects. The assignments are not hard but some take time and effort. This class requires effort and partisipation. Would reccomend it!

Instructor who inspires you to work. Participation is a must. Don't waste your time if your going to waste hers. 10 writing assignments, 3 papers, 3 exams, group presentation for final. GL

Professor Lindholm is very animated and engaging. The class was very fun and entertaining and the discussions were great too. She is very knowledgeable about what she teaches. Her tests are easy and you really only need the book to study. She is very helpfull and clear about what she expects from you on assignments. Take her class!!

Love this class!! She definitely kept your interest every class! Over all an easy class as long as you follow her direction. All her work was straight forward and simple. There will be no surprises. recommend her for any class!

Interesting, engaging and fun! Read the syllabus, follow the calendar, FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, participate, be there and be on time. If you do these things you will love this class! You will know in advance all that is expected of you.

Lindholm is a very interesting professor who is passionate about her job. She makes the material relate to your life and you can actually learn some helpful skills for life. Attendance is mandatory and she stresses that you follow instructions. The work isnt very hard, just follow her specific directions, show up to class and you will do fine.

She is a great teacher!! Very passionate about her subject, and she keeps the class engaged. Fair grader, easy assignments, and a fun class if you participate. I recommend her!

She expects a lot of each student in order to become better communicators. Definitely not easy but will be very clear on expectations. For those that think she isn't approachable, its just that she wants us to think for ourselves before coming to her, but very helpful if needed. I've learned so much and look at everything in a new light now.

She is a super nice person. However, she made her class a lot more difficult from previous semesters. She grades speeches fair/well (never got below a B). however, we have outlines that she grades SUPER hard. She is so helpful in office hours though and loves when you go, definitely paid off in my grade. She is the hard public speaking teacher.

I HIGHLY reccommend this professor! She is very nice, as well as clear and organized with lessons and assignments. Speaking in front of the class isn't something everyone is comfortble with, and she knows that! There are chapter readings, and 2 major speechs (with other minor speeches as well).I'm not a great public speaker, but I loved this class!

I enjoyed the class overall, you have to follow all directions or you will not receive a good grade. She is willing to work with you if you show some effort. She will come off very sassy and strong minded but she is a good teacher and wants to make everyone a better public speaker.

Do the work and you will get the grade. Homework due every class via blackboard. NOT an easy A - I worked hard for the C received. She honestly tries to improve your skills and knowledge, and cares about your success. If you're taking many units, reconsider this class, because you'll be working HARD.

This teacher is definitely a tough grader, but very helpful. I personally though it was a tough class, but I'm very grateful that I took it because I learned a lot. If you are not willing to work hard to get a good grade, don't waste your time taking this class. Great teacher. She expects a lot from her students because she wants them to succeed.

Professor Lindholm wants you to do well. She is very thorough and very clear about what she expects from her students. Her goal is to make a public speaker out of you! Do your best, do the assignments, and take the class seriously. I had to work for my A in this class; it wasn't easy. Put in the effort, and you'll do great!

Professor Lindholm is very entertaining and makes the class fun. She does tell you from the beginning how to pass the class "follow the plan". If you follow it, you will pass. If you do not follow the plan, you will not pass. Great lectures, lots of group projects and she gives you outlines for everything so follow them.

Super fun, energetic, and hilarious. Tough and honest but definitely fair. Lots of homework and very specific how she wants it done, but never changes her standards and rules are easy to follow. Expects her students to show up and join in discussions. Work hard and she will do all she can to help you do well in and out of class.

Lindholms class is not for people who are going to slack off. She has an agenda from being to end if you follow format, turn in work , and participate you will pass.

Shes funny, gives great examples to apply in personal life in order to understand material ! The class is easy if you do all the work, a lot of hw but you get the hang of it & its pretty easy. Yes you need your book & she takes attendance as well. I would definitely take her again !!

Loved this course! Professor Lindholm basically lays everything out on a platter for you to understand how to do the homework and the mini speeches. There is some busy work but she sends an announcement of what needs to be done after every class for clarity & there is outlines of every assignment for you to look at. Its an easy A if you do the work

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Professor Lindholm is so enthusiastic and passionate about all the topics discussed in the class, which makes learning a lot more fun! She's very organized, so expect to do all that's listed on the syllabus. She's not a very hard grader, but that doesn't mean she tolerates slacking off.

I am from Nepal and this was my first class in the USA. Though english being my second language, this class was great with great professor. I felt very comfortable in the class. Ms. Lindholm is organized, very supportive, good lecture and loved the way the course had great guidelines and templates. It was a win for me.

Great teacher. There is a lot of homework and reading each week so if you don't like reading, this is not your class. Attendance is mandatory for credit of being there but if you do miss class, you are not going to be missing out on information. Tests are relatively easy and presentations are not too bas either.

In the beginning of the course, she will tell you if you follow the plan, you will pass. If you do everything, this class is an easy A. There is a lot of homework, but as time goes on it becomes easier. A detailed summary and 1 page journal entry due each week. E-exams are easy, 5 small speeches, and templates for everything. Follow the templates.

Assigns lots of homework, there are a few speeches and there are journals assigned after each chapter. It may seem like a lot but the class is worth taking and I definitely recommend taking her.

Very thorough on what's expected of you, extremely helpful in explaining assignments, some assignments came out of nowhere but were do-able in the matter of time.

I took this class in person for the spring semester of 2022. If you are dedicated to your studies, can focus on reading and assignments, and practice for speeches, you will do great. The class is formulaic to the point that it reminds me of high school(easy). Show up to class because participation is 10% of your grade. It will matter in the end!

This was my favorite professor and favorite class of this fall semester. I was overwhelmed with this class at first but as long as you clarify with her about assignments you will be fine. Make a group chat with your class. Super easy once you get the hang of things. Lots of homework but it will help with speeches. She deserves a better rating!

Lots of home work but very straight forward and repetitive once you get it. Good lectures and straight to the point.

I hate public speaking, it has been a fear of mine, but after completing this class I feel so much more confident. Her class is not difficult, she gives you everything, even example templates to help you succeed. As long as you do the work (which is not difficult), there is no reason to do poorly and on top this class will help you in daily life.

Class was amazing and a lot of fun! I was always terrified of public speaking but as long as you do your homework and prepare for your speech and follow the outline she gives you you are good ! the rest of the class comes easy. She is very organized, helpful, understanding professor who actually love her job. Public speaking was so fun with her.

She was great the class I chose was long but usually got out early the topics were covered clearly tests made sense and where easy and the discussions were fun. get ready to talk though because the majority of class time was discussions.

Weekly routine/pace is the same structure: read chapter, do summary template, take quiz/exam, plan a 2-3min speech on chapter topic (from your experience), & complete journal on a chapter topic--no surprises! She provides templates for everything. Beyond a class; you'll learn valuable life skills. Participation is a must.

There are a lot of assignments, but it felt packed because I was taking the 6-week summer classes. The modules were also locked sometimes, but if you shoot the professor, she will fix it. When I emailed her, she is so kind and understanding. She gives good feedback, and it's a really useful class. She gives reminders, and you can redo work.

I don't understand why she has a 3.1 when she's been the easiest class of college so far. Her due dates are very consistent always the night before class, extremely straightforward with grading etc. Always looked forward to her class, the only reason I got a B was because I kept forgetting to turn in quizzes. It was very easy, loved this class.

As an introvert, her class was extremely straightforward and didn't stress me out. She posts clear rubrics and templates for every assignment, is a fast grader, and tells you anything important in advance. There's a lot of homework, but it isn't time-consuming at all. She genuinely wants you to succeed, and I definitely recommend her!
