She's someone I will remember for the rest of my life. Joey cares about her students as well as people who aren't her students. She's done alot for me on a personal scale: helping with concerns and even with getting into a university. There aren't quizzes but the exams are easy. No notes need to be taked-I actually remember everything she says.

i wasnt sure to take speech class. before i took dis class i looked at dis site and it said this is an easy class ever so i took it. well, it is all true. everything is so easy and u will not fail dis class.there r only 2 tests and they are easy. i think everybody got all A's in class. do whatever it takes to take this class and wont be regreted.

If you want easy A take this class. Not much to learn in this class but fun to sit around and check out the girls. Most high school new students like her cuz she talks and curses just like them lol. I personally think over 50% of her personal stories are fake or exaggerate anyways.

I took 100 & 155 and she was the best teacher that I have met in my college life.You learn a lot in the class based on her experience.I had never been bored..she makes you wanna go to class every time.Take her, you wont regret!100=couple of tests 155=2 essays i guess..

Pretty much impossible to not do well in this class. She's hilarious, fun and super smart, and the class is pretty much hanging out chatting for 3 hours a week. You learn a lot from her experiences, but almost nothing that has to do with the subject matter. She's really opinionated, so try not to get offended easily and everything will be dandy.

At first, I thought Joey was a little loud and slightly obnoxious. But, after the first class, it was pretty obvious that, not only does she know exactly what she's talking about, but she truly has a heart of gold. We had to write one paper. The whole class is just talking about life experiences. Attendance was not mandatory, but she said that that is not typical.

Spring 2022 school season I took the class Emma La Mer, the professor gave very good lectures and the classes were very comfortable, the professor shared his thoughts and always helped you speak your mind, leading to a good solution best. You should study Professor if you need to take the class CMST A100 - CMST A155.

Extremely easy class and thoughtful teacher. No homework, only several quizzes which are open-note and true or false. I took this course during intersession and if you are considering taking a class during that time, this is definitely the class to take.

I love Professor Joey, she helped me a lot during my struggle time. The last time memory that I remember about her was she hugged me when I got my good news. Unfortunately, she passed away today. Rest in peace Ms. Joey.

Ms.Joey one of the most energetic professor at OCC. Always so kind and told the most hilarious jokes that some what humorous although her jokes is a bit of a hit or miss to the class. NEVER have she complained about her job kind lady love her job. Also love her student, I wish could say one last goodbye maybe another timeThe story she told live on!

This professor was wonderful kindhearted person I know not also I consider her has my best friend too. I love her teaching skills to all the students. Overall, I consider her my favorite professor from OCC.

Joey was such a kind and heartwarming person who felt like a friend rather than a professor. Her class was very welcoming which made it easy for students to feel comfortable with her. It is unfortunate that I only knew her for half the semester but the impact that she left on people will always be remembered
