Professor Weilburg is an excellent instructor. I look forward to her class sessions because she always covers something interesting and useful to us. Unlike other professors I have had, she actually teaches you and wants you to learn. You will get a great education. Her lectures are also very clear and easy to follow. I would take her class again.
Ms. Weilburg is a BOSS! She's nice and funny and makes class interesting. Tests are kinda hard but class is fun.
Very nice teacher! No need for side notes because her lectures are copies of the test. I've been getting As on the test so far. Tries to keep the class involved. Gives tons of extra credit opportunities. As long as you put in good effort, you can get an A :)
This professor is great. Relates what we go over in class to everyday life. This makes it easier to learn. Includes lots of in class activities that really get you thinking. She prints the lectures for us and gives study guides. She also has extra credit that goes towards exams. I recommend taking her for psychology.
Professor Weilburg is wonderful. She's so nice and down to earth. Her class can be challenging at times, but I am surprised at how well I'm doing not knowing anything about psychology. She keeps class interesting and wants us all to learn the concepts. I love this course and teacher. Take her class! You won't regret it.
By far one of my favorite professors at Delta. She is so smart and knows the material well. Class is always interesting and there is good student participation. Everyone loves her and I think is happy they got her this semester. I wish she taught more psych courses I'd love to take her again.
The best teacher I've ever had and the funnest class you will ever take at Delta. I love psychology now because she made it so interesting and easy to understand. She's very nice and fair and has a great sense of humor. Recommend completely!
Fun class! The professor is very sweet and flexible. Just don't come late or leave early. Final is hard and covers all chapters but she offers bonus questions for extra credit. If you attend, you can easily pass.
She is one of the nicest instructors and willing to work with you! I learned a lot in that class not just about Psychology but about myself and others. Her lectures were very easy to understand. Tests are all from the lectures so no curve balls. It was a very informative course. I loved it!
Such a great professor! I really enjoyed her way of teaching. If you pay attention to the lecture, you never have to read the book.
Her class was my favorite class last semester. She's very understanding, helpful, and caring. She's younger and has a great sense of humor, but she also won't take any BS, and for that I was grateful. Honest, fair, and very intelligent. I am taking her lifespan class this semester and I can't wait
Really easygoing and nice teacher. Class is fun and tests aren't very hard. Responds to emails quickly. You don't need the textbook too much, tests are based off her lectures. Just go to class and do and all your work and she gives you some leeway. One of the few classes I enjoyed at Delta.
Really nice and gives allot of extra credit.
She is freaking awesome, if u do ur 2ork pay attention and put a little effort in ur good to go.
She is AWESOME! If you need help she is willing to help and clarify exactly what it is needed. This is my first semester for college and by far I love this class. Her teaching is based off of the lectures and so are the exams. If you pay attention you will pass. She also offers a lot of extra credit!!!
Great teacher. Very passionate about psychology. Loves her students and is always willing to help or explain. She is very young, but highly intelligent and knowledgeable. The assignments we do in class are very interactive and helpful with understanding the material. The online portion is just ok, but going to class is where I learned best.
I've had a lot of psych professors at Delta and Prof Weilburg is the best one yet! She is extremely helpful, and knows a ton about the subject. Im going to miss her class!
Fun class. Learned a lot. Teacher is great.
I had her for Psych6 and I loved her. Her class taught me so much about myself and she made everything apply to us. Great prof and you should take your psych with her!
This class was so much better than I thought it would be. I haven't been to school in a long time and I was scared to take a class I never took before. Her classroom was very inviting and she was so encoraging. Im so glad I decided to go back to school and I'm glad I took her class. Great teacher
This teacher is really good. Had her for a 3 hour night class once a week and time flys when your in class. Not a boring class. We did lots of activities and class discussions. There are two papers you have to do which aren't too bad. She offers extra credit too. I would recommend her.
My fav professor at Delta because of her character and the way she taught. She explains everything smoothly and is always down to help students as long as you come to class. During lectures it felt like she really enjoyed teaching us to where we really understood the material rather than just straight up lecturing out of the book. She's super cool.
Great professor. Very clear with what is expected, and is more than happy to explain anything that you need help with. Tests are on the difficult side, but as long as you attend class you'll do just fine.
This teacher is the BOMB!she makes the lectures relate to your own life.I took her class in the summer very fast Pace. She kind, sweet, very intelligent.she takes time out of her busy day to help you with assignments that you don't understand or just need help with APA format.great teacher for dsps students to take.I would take her again!!
Miss Weilburg was a very passionate and informative professor! If you attend class and review the notes you care easily going to obtain an A. In class discussions were my favorite! Highly recommend
I highly recommend taking her class. You don't need the book because tests are based solely off of lectures. She makes the class really fun and interesting which will make you WANT to learn the material. She also offers extra credit assignments and the points go towards your test. I'll be taking more of her classes for sure!
Took her over the summer so it was pretty fast paced. Not too hard so long as you take notes during the lecture and then go back and study them with the study guide she passes out. She can be a bit harsh sometimes when students are talking but over all she is a pretty nice and fun instructor.
Professor Weilburg is an amazing young woman. Her class is tough. You HAVE to read to your text, you have to study for the exams, and there is an APA article review. However, she is with you every step of the way. She even offers study sessions out of her own time. If you are motivated, she will make your success a priority. Loved this class!
I had class once a week. We would go through a powerpoint and be assigned homework, then we would be tested on the chapters from the powerpoints. She always gave study guides so you know what will be on the test. We also had to do weekly online assignments for the online textbook. One paper for the class, an article review. Easy if you do your work
I enjoyed this class much more than I expected. Ms Weilburg is very friendly and approachable. Her lectures are clear and informative. I learned a lot from the class discussions. Her best quality is that she will work with you until you understand as long as you ask for help. She tutored students after class who needed extra help. Highly recommend.
This class was really interesting. Mrs Weilburg gives good lectures & had us do some really fun assignments in class. She's young but knows what she's talking about. She's understanding, but if you miss class a lot she notices. Some online reading assignments are required & an article review. Not too bad. I'm an APA expert now. You'll learn a lot.
This class was fun for being one night a week and 3 hours long. The teacher is good and helpful. The text book is pricey since there is an online part. Test are tough so use your study guide. There is a paper due at the end but she breaks it up which makes it less stressful. Would recommend.
Ms. Weilburg is the best in her department. I took another psych 1 professor but had to drop his class halfway through because I could tell he was new. Prof Weilburg gives the best lectures because the material she covers is interesting and she has a good sense of humor and makes learning fun. Class is not hard if you attend and listen. I loved her
Great lectures, easy to understand and remember, offers extra credit and it overal an excellent teacher!
Professor Weilburg is great. When I started this class, I thought that I was just taking it for my pre-reqs, but she makes class so fun. She gives a lot of extra credit, but her homework isn't even hard enough to need it. She's hilarious, at least to me, and super interesting. I'd take any class that she taught. :)
Professor Weilberg was awesome. She's pretty laid back and funny during lectures, but will set you straight if you are talking or being disrespectful. She includes a lot of hands on activities in class that helps keep you alert during the long evening class. Her lectures are clear and easy to understand. She always offers Her help. Highly Recommend
Professor Weilburg saved my life.
She's an amazing teacher, and don't worry about your grade as long as you put in the easy effort that it takes. She gives so many opportunities for extra credit and the final exam is a compilation of questions from your other exams which she gives you a review sheet for just like the other tests. Take her and you wont be stressed or disappointed.
I'm so glad I chose this class with her she gives a lot of extra credit she explains everything clearly she also does study sessions before exams , very helpful teacher I passed with an A
I just finished this class as a 6 week summer course and it was pretty fast paced. The prof is knowledgeable and very helpful. There seemed to be a lot of exams, but she allowed us a 3x5 card. My cousin took her last fall and wasn't allowed a 3x5 card so I think her regular semester classes are a little different. Would take again.
Really liked this class. It was tough becUse it was so short, but the professor is really nice and approachable. Lots of reading and lots of homework and there's no way around it, but she's super helpful and responds to emails fast. Taking her again.
Professor Weilburg is an absolutely amazing professor. Her exams are all based on her lectures. She is funny and outgoing and really makes class fun. She makes the information very easy to understand and she explains everything very well. You do get homework on a regular basis but as long as you take notes during lectures you won't have a problem!
Amazing Psychology professor! She is very passionate about teaching and it shows in how she lectures and teaches. She makes her power points informative and still very fun and enjoyable to sit through. Her tests are medium level of toughness , as long as you study and do the work you will be fine! she's also a very fair grader and understanding
Taking this class was a special experience for me. I needed it for the nursing program, so I took it just because I had to. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved psychology and I know it's because of professor Weilburg. She's warm and has a very intriguing way of lecturing. I learned so much that I honestly see the world differently now.
I take all my classes online and this was one of the best. The class is very organized and assignments, deadlines, grading is clearly outlined. There is an exam, assignment, and discussion board each week. She assigns a preperatory quiz for each chapter that you can take as many times as you want and it helps you with the exams. Would take again!
Very straight forward class. Teacher is very helpful and friendly. She always responded to my emails (I emailed her a lot) within 24 hrs. The exams are a little tough, but you get practice quizzes. The article review was a breeze and really helped me learn how to use apa format. I plan on taking her again.
This class was better than I expected but also harder than I expected. Took it over summer so was very fast paced (3 chptrs a week). Expectations are clear and the instructor is helpful and easy going. Pros- 1 papper. Cons- devoting all the time it took as you can't do well by doing the bare minimum (grades tough on weekly discussions). Recommend!
Professor Weilburg's class is very organized, clear, and friendly. There is a lot of work, but if you complete all of them you should pass. There is a discussion, assignment, and small test every week with only one essay at the end. Overall, it is an easy class and you learn a lot.
She amazing I loved her. She is very understanding and just the best teacher ever. She believe that not everyone is good at test she believes work is just as important as test. I would take her again if I could wish she taught all classes :)
This teacher focused more on English and grammar versus teaching the course of psychology. She took points off of discussion post for bogus grammatical errors and was not clear as to how long she wanted the initial post to be. She was not good with grading work on time during the semester and waited until the very last day to give grades at the end
I wish this teacher taught more psych classes. I've taken psych 1 online with two diff prof at delta and this was the best. Very clear what the expectations are from the get go. She will also edit your paper for you before you turn it in. If you study the lectures, you will pass the exams.
Easy online class if you're used to taking online classes. Prof is strict on discussions and assignments (not difficult if you have a brain). Exams are easy if you read the lectures and sit with text book. Paper is easy but APA could be challenging for some. She edited my paper about 3 times and I got a perfect score. Hope she teaches psych 30!
Took intro psy w her online. It was a lot of work and a lot of reading. She checks EVERYTHING (spelling, grammar, plagiarism). But gives you lots of chances to correct. Now in a new psych class w a diff prof online (psy 30) and they are awful, unclear & disorganized. Really appreciating prof weilburg now and wish she was teaching my current class!
Chelsea Weilburg was my first college prof and my first online experience. Psych 001 was my first of many upcoming psych classes. Prof Weilburg was clear, caring, and supportive during my maiden voyage. She assisted me in learning the "do's and don'ts" of online procedures and was instrumental in my learning how to write an APA Article Review.
I am very glad I decided to take her for psy 1 in the summer. She was a fair grader and all of her expectations and guidelines were clear, so this class was easy to prepare and be organized for. I wish she taught more at delta because i would take all of my classes with her! It was a great experience
Doesn't put much effort into her instructing. Would not recommend to anyone.
Took psych 1 with her in person a year ago but had to drop because I moved. It was a great class with awesome class discussions. Took it again online with her and shes still as charming /helpful as she was the first time. Wont lie, the online class is pretty demanding but if you have self discipline youll do just fine. Fascinating class!
Young professor, but dont let that fool you. Shes super smart and funny. Class lectures are very interesting/meaningful followed by a slightly controversial class debate or a fun activity. Shes very kind and approachable so I never felt uncomfortable asking questions or getting help. Kind of a lot of work, but nothing too bad. Loved her!
as an adult learner who has just finished my first semester of college all I can say thank god for this teacher. Im not academically gifted and always struggled in school. Was terrified to go back but ms weilburg pushed me though. Shes been more helpful then anyone at the college. sh takes as much time as you need to help you learn. Will miss her.
took this class online. all you do is read the assigned chapters, take the weekly exam, and participate in the weekly class discussion. very straight forward and easy if you stay on track. the entire course is open the whole semester so you can work ahead. one apa paper is required, but she will edit it for you if you send it to her ahead of time.
Professor Weilburg is amazing! By far my favorite class Ive taken so far! Even changed my major to psych because I enjoyed it so much. Dont miss class and you will be fine. Shes super funny and will help you with anything you need. Taking her class was a great experience.
Super hard for a basic psych class! Best advice is to stay on top of reading and due dates!
Very straight forward online class. Professor is very organized and accessible. She has all the modules open the entire semester so you can work at your own pace and it makes everything really convenient. I was surprised to learn as much as I did from an online class. Would recommend.
Miss Weilburg is by far the best teacher Ive had at delta. Im a student with learning disability and she reached out to me before class started to let me know she was aware of my accommodations. She checked in with my throughout the whole semester and went above and beyond to help me understand everything. Ive never had such a caring teacher.
I loved taking professor Weilburg's class. She was very informative, she have us handouts for our notes and made class fun and interesting. I would highly recommend taking her class.
Perfect online class if you have a busy schedule. All that is required are chapter quizzes, a few assignments, and weekly discussions. Best part is that quizzes and assignments arent due till the last day of class so basically this class is self-paced. Just stay on top of discussions that are due each week, Thursdays and Sundays. Would reccommend
There is a lot of work in this class, BUT its basically self-paced so I was able to work ahead or slack a little depending on my schedule. The only thing due every week are the class discussions which were my favorite part of class and very interesting. Highly recommend for the flexibility!! Shes very friendly and funny if you need help!
Perfect online class if your busy!! Ms. Weilburg is very kind woman and intelligent. She will help you if you ask. Very interesting topics every week.
There are interesting topics for the weekly discussions and two responses that are due weekly. Every thing else is due at end of semester and it is easy to find answers. She gives good grades as long as you do requirements. The hardest part was the short APA essay due at the end of semester She also quickly responded to questions I had.
All of the 32 quizzes and chapter assignments are due on the last day of the semester, the only thing due weekly is the discussion. You need to cite the textbook every week for full credit. I had a 35% 2 days before the end of the semester and I was able to bring it up to an 80%. I missed some discussions and assignments, its an easy A if you dont.
Easy going, lectures are easy to follow, simple but informative. As long as you read the lectures / watch the YouTube videos easy to class to pass, and actually fun / interesting. Shes on top of her students, and wants them to succeed, gives actual feedback instead of just entering points. She also uses memes in her lectures -keeps it light!
She went above and beyond to make sure her students were in the right mental state due to the pandemic but she was very caring before that. Would love to have her again.
Took this class over summer as an online class. Professor Weilburg is a great teacher. The workload was not to heavy. There are weekly chapter quizzes. They are easy as long as you watch the powerpoints that she gives for the chapter. As long as you do the work you will pass!!!
(took the summer class) She's nice and easy to reach out to, for questions. I really appreciated that she cared about the mental health of students during the pandemic. Her examples (funny) made it easier to understand the more complex psych terms. The assignments were actually interesting and light. The workload's light just a quiz and discussion.
Great professor! Workload was light and easy (weekly quiz and discussion, multiple-choice midterm/final, and 1 paper). Lectures were very helpful and funny. She gives great feedback on discussion posts. She's also very helpful if you have questions and replies quickly. I highly recommend her!
I took her Social Psychology class at MJC. She was so fun and caring, she always checked up on our mental health, shared music, or fun Internet finds with us. And her feedback on EVERYTHING was well appreciated, you can tell she actually read every single response. There are 2 writing assignments per semester so beware, those dates come up quick!
Easy class to keep track of each week. 1-2 chapters per week with a quiz and discussion. Great choice for psych 1.
Overall, Professor Weilburg was a great professor. Her lectures were informational and easy to follow. The class was enjoyable and easy to follow because you are given a week to complete the assignments within each module. Her feedback could've been more helpful but she's straightforward with what she expects. Easy grade if you can keep up.
Loved this psychology professor. She is really sweet and straightforward when it comes to the grading criteria. Discussion, assignment, and quiz are due every Sunday, so just dont procrastinate and you will be fine. Assignments were interesting and overall a great experience! Take this professor!
Best professor I have had at Delta. She is extremely nice and gives great feedback. She is one of those professors that you know actually enjoy teaching and getting to know her students. She is an easy grader if you do the work. Also she gives extra credit as well. I would definitely recommend taking her class!
I took PSYCH 1 in the spring of 2022 while in High School with Professor Weilburg. I liked that she had a list of questions for the disscusion and I would just have to answer them instead of putting them in a paragraph. Pretty easy class it was just a discussion and a 20-question quiz every week. She does give extra credit at the end of the sem.
Professor Weilburg's class was super easy. It was organized, clear, and her instructions were very easy to understand. Her lectures and chapters that she assigned were also very interesting, as well as the assignments that she assigned. 10/10 would take again, I'm sad she's not the professor for my other classes.
This was one of the best Professor I have taken at Delta College. Professor Weilburg cared for each of her students and gave out fun assignments that helped me learn much of the material. Her class is easygoing as long as you follow along and keep up with weekly participation/assignments. If she taught other classes for PSYCH I would choose her!
Quite literally one of the easiest classes I've every taken. Professor Weilburg is well organized and super nice with amazing feedback. The class is super easy with 1 discussion, 1-2 assignments, and a 20 question quiz every week. As long as you turn in everything on time you'll pass the class with an A.
Prof Weilburg took the time to create well-crafted videos that summarized the textbook chapter every week! Graded well and focused on group discussions with intricate questions that really had you think. Great class!
Much like the other reviews on Professor Weilburg, she was a wonderful professor. Clear cut criteria on grading, easily accessible, and is very respectful. Although I know most people despise discussion posts, Professor Weilburg was able to make them education, relatable, and in a welcoming environment. Complete assignments on time, and you're good
She's an amazing teacher, you just have to stay on top of work. Lots of class discussions I did not do which is why I did not pass (worth a majority of your grade). Other than that, the assignments are pretty easy.
Aside from being super beautiful, she was a super cool professor who deeply cares about her students I have taken two of her courses and passed all easily. Quizzes might be hard since you need to remember small details. But just do your reading and you will be good. Sadly I won't have her since I completed the course. Love you, Chelsea.
Prof. Weilburg was really caring and gave really great feedback on all the assignments. The schedule of assignments was the same every week: discussion post with two responses, an assignment related to the chapter, and a test with two tries. The final was a paper on any topic that related to psychology and it was due at the end of the semester.
Pretty easy class if you just follow along and do the quizzes. The course outline is very straightforward and provides you with information and what to expect. Just pay attention and do the work and you will pass.
Gave her a 4 'cause she had docked me on things, & I emailed her & she never replied. However, I later found out she was pregnant during class, so I get she was busy, but still feel she had the time. Her class is easy to pass. Just discussions & quizzes (found on quizlet). She has a bunch of EC, so I didn't do the final and still ended w/ an A.
Nice Prof, she took awhile 2 respond due 2 her having a baby & technical issues Thursday is 1 response, 2 reply for a discussion. Sunday 1 assignment, usually a filling out an online quiz or sometimes taking typing a normal assignment. Sunday also has a chapter quiz. APA essay at end of semester, gives 3 examples 2 follow. Optional 50 extra points.
This was by far the best professor I have taken. Make sure to prep yourself for the amount of reading anywhere from 30-90 pages a week. She was so nice and caring when it came to assignments. She made sure to provide help and resources. A very easy comprehensive final and a final project about presenting a topic of your choice. 1000% recommend.
Really sweet & helpful. Takes about 2 days to respond (she has several classes & a baby at home) but she does get to you. I fell behind on a few assignments due to an emergency which I was able to show proof for & she allowed me to catch up last minute due to my circumstances. She was very understanding. Tests were challenging but Quizlet helped ;)
Class was easy but be prepared for lots of reading.
Very clear grading criteria, good feedback, and multiple extra credit opportunities. Responsive with emails as well.
She's a great professor her assignments were always very clear
Prof. Weilburg's PSYCH1 class is straightforward and manageable. The weekly work, including discussions, assignments, and quizzes, is structured well. Using Unstuck ai alongside the textbook can make studying a breeze.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Assignments are straightforward (posted every week, plenty of time given), canvas is easy to navigate, participation is necessary. Make sure to show up and try to complete assignments! Very easy to get in touch with, asking questions, and gives feedback on discussion boards. Randomly gave me EC when I had a B+. 10/10 professor
This Professor was by far the absolute best. She was VERY informative, clear and presicse. I recommend her 100%
Very comprehendible work; if you're good with writing. Lots of homework/quizzes, about 5-7 to do a week. Can be hard to get ahold of. But it's okay. Make sure you make time of the day to read the material.
