She has an excellent way of teaching.She is a caring teacher. You have to read to pass her exams and quizzes. She is really cool.

I don't understand how other people complains about her taking out points if you turn in your HW/assigments too close to the due date; it is on her syllabus and her policy. She gives ample enough time for all the works, but some still procrastinate, hence getting a lower grade. I recommend her online class!!! She makes online discussion fun!

TOOK HER FOR SPRING SEMESTER. AT FIRST, IT TAKES TIME TO GET USED TO HER RULES AND WAY OF GRADING. PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT HER BECAUSE THEY THINK ONLINE CLASSES ARE SO MUCH EASIER THAN FACE TO FACE. Took her online. She has a strange grading system that means that even if you get your discussion by the due date, if it is close to the date, you get docked points. Weird. Lots of little assignments, discussions each week. Was an okay class, I would say she is an okay prof.

let's see, turn it in late lose points. Discussions like a classroom. Dr. T is not curt, she is CLEAR. Online, u still hafta WORK! Some people were rude and winey. I got mostly A's on the tests but missed other stuff. Got a B. TAKE her. at least u get what u deserve and u LEARN.

Loved this class. Great teacher. You WILL have to work for the A, but it is worth it. You will learn a lot about yourself during the course of this class. Dr. Trombley is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her class. I took it online.

I have never enjoyed a class as much as I enjoyed this. Dr. T is an amazing and caring prof. You have to work for your grade which is fine because you get to know yourself better. She has a very quick turnaround with grades. As for questions, she is quick to answer and clear in what she expects. GREATEST PROFESSOR!!

She's ok, shes clear on what she wants and how she wants it. I just dont like her grading, since I took this class online, you have to be very careful you submit your work ahead even though she has a due date for each work completed, she can be tough!! Read carefully her syllabus. Her quizzes are ok! Just read. Theres free questions you can get.

Enjoying this class, is time consuming-- TMHW. Do not think it is easier b/c it's online. It's more work & req's too much attn. Found it annoying prof gives partial pts ie: 4.66 out of 5. Also she down grades assignments when submitted on time, however not extra early. Huh? So you will find ya need stress mgmt for Stress Management. lol, gud luk.

This on-line class is counter-productive to what it is teaching/subject. Buyer beware.

Took online class, it was enjoyable and pretty easy. We had one assignment every week, sometimes got to be alot of reading, but test answers were easy to find in book. The only thing to be aware of is she has very few points in grading, you can't miss many assignments or lose too many points because it's graded out of a total of like 345 points.

Expectations are crystal clear and if you do all of the required work, you will succeed and get an A. Tests were a little tricky, often times asking questions on unimportant subject matter. She is a very nice and helpful professor. Take this class!

She is a great instructor. It is a REAL class people not some oh i'll take a stupid class and get an A. SOOOO helpful! Really knows what she is doing instead of teachers who say 'heres a book, read it and i'll test you." People who complain about discussions? That's what you are supposed to do! Stop complaining, do the work if you want to learn!

This class was online and she tells you exactly what she wants before hand. Disscussions where actually fun sometimes and the book is absolutely mandatory and trust me your going to need to read every chapter. True tests are a little tricky, and your not able to review why you got the score you did. Got a C cause I skipped a few assignmnts,but fair

Really clear with assignments. A lot of your grade is on discussions not only tests. That was good for me since I'm a bad test taker. (I got a b) She Answers your questions fast, but doesn't give you a computer tutor that would've helped. Overall fair and I learned a lot in her class.

A normal online class. Really helpful clarifying on what you need to do. She gave me a lot of feedback on what I needed to do. I put in normal work (which is a lot for online) work and got an A and my boyfriend got a B. Her classes fill up quickly, so you should try to get in as soon as possible. I just kept going back every day and finally got in.

This class had a lighter work load than I expected. It's comprised of discussion forums and 4 exams. Log in regularly, read the modules, read the book, and respond to the discussion forums on time and there's no reason you shouldn't get an A. Several of the test questions were the same questions in the textbook and the rest weren't too hard.

Really liked this teacher, learned a lot. Do as she instructs or lose points. Discussions are great, feedbacks. MUST READ book, Fair Tests. DO review your postings because she's serious about grammar and Typos. You'll do great IF YOU KEEP UP with discussions and reading. Test questions are directly from book, she gives very Effective STUDY TIPS.

Excellent class, and a great teacher. Go in expecting to do all of the assignments, and I don't how you could not pass. I got full points for almost all discussions. Exams are not hard, as long as you read the chapter. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. Modules for the online class are very detailed, and gives you all the info you need.

Dr. Trombley is a great instructor. Even though she is a tough grader at times, I really enjoy her classes. I have taken two more of her classes because I enjoy them. She is very organized and clear about her instructions, so you need to pay close attention. I would definitely recommend for anyone to take her.

Professor Trombley is a very good professor. She is very specific in her details. If you do exactly what she says and stats, you will pass the class no problem. Make sure you read the chapters and the modules, if you do that you will have no problems. I had her three times and she is very good at what she does, excellent professor.

Professor Trombley is a great Professor. She knows what she wants and if you do exactly what she says and stats, you will easily pass her class. tests are not easy but not hard. If you read the material and do your part, you will have no problems passing her class. She is very smart and is a very good professor. If you want to learn take her.

Prof. Trombley is a really good prof. She is very specific in her instructions on what she wants. If you do what she asks you will have no problems passing her class. her tests are hard but not that hard. If you put you time in and actually read everything you will pass easily. Her classes are not hard, just she very particular in what she wants.

Dr. Trombley is great! Her instructions are clear and there are no surprises. Her tests are incredibly straight forward and if you do the reading you will do well! She makes learning fun with her discussion too. Definitely take her, I would again!

I took her intro class online and ended up signing up for another one next semester. As far as online classes go, shes a good choice. If you don't get full marks on an assignment she explains why. The course format is consistent throughout the semester. You have to do work to get an A, but its not too hard.

I can't with these people complaining about her. Mrs. Trombley is one of the best teachers in LAVC. She is accessible anytime you need, she's helpful if you have questions. And her classes are very informative. It might seem easy because it's online class, but actually you have to work hard to keep up with the schedule. I might take P66 with her...

Professor Trombley was an awesome teacher and very helpful if you need her assistance! She will make you work for your grade which makes perfect sense!! I would definitely suggest that whomever is reading this, you wont be sorry taking her!

Drops your lowest quiz and all quizzes are easily answerable. The discussions, however, are somehow tough because you have to be detailed by providing examples but not too brief to fit in your own opinion. Overall, a good professor and would take again.

I took her online Abnormal Psychology class in the Spring Semester, and I liked it. The content was really interesting, and theres not too much work. Theres normally a discussion and a fifteen question timed open-note quiz on the chapter each week. Overall, I would definitely take it again.

Professor Trombley lays her class out clearly. She consistently took the content from that week and related it to real life through discussion topics (which have several options to choose from). The weekly quizzes are easy IF you do the readings, practice tests, and read modules. This class is relatively low stress & I learned a lot.

Awesome professor. VERY APPROACHABLE. Her lectures are interesting and fun. Online classes can be boring, but she makes it fun by giving nice videos, good examples, and very interesting articles. I learned a lot in all the classes I've taken with her. A lot of tests, yeah, but they are often easy if you read the book and the modules.

I've taken Intro to Psych., Stress Management Psych., and now Abnormal Psych. with Professor Trombley. She is particular about what she expects from students but it's nothing unreasonable, you simply have to read instructions carefully. I love that she quizzes weekly because I am able to retain more info this way. Take her class, its great.

This has been the easiest class I've taken so far. As long as you read the book you're good. There was no midterm, final or papers, just short weekly quizzes and short discussions. Highly recommend!

Great professor. I would take all her classes if I could. You need to have to expect to do *some* work in college and be able to read and follow instructions. Grading is exactly outlined in all assignments - you need to ensure you read the instructions carefully as attention to detail is a skill set for the real world too.

She has a good grasp on her audience, super helpful with plenty of clear instructions and reminders, I recommend her and her classes. She truly seems to care about her students success not only in her class but in college in general. I hope my next online teachers are as organized as she was.
