She is the hardest professor I've had at this school. I consider myself a pretty good student with good grades, but this class is going to kill my GPA. She knows the material entirely too well. She can explain anything, but she assumes you already know a lot. This is a problem if you are a psych student who doesn't know neuroanatomy/physiology. Class is super informative and I love her teaching style. The reviews are correct-- the class is super lecture + textbook heavy. Attendance isn't mandatory but HIGHLY recommended to pass the tests. Felt more like a biology + anatomy/physio class rather than a psychology class. FYI the first exam is the most difficult (complex concepts). Offers EC

Dr. CCF is genuinely so caring, I saw a couple of negative reviews that made me super scared for this class, but after taking it, it wasn't that bad. 3 tests and a final(cheat sheets allowed)with lots of extra credit opportunities (things like watch a film, create 1 page report on it). NOT AN EASY CLASS THOUGH! MAKE SURE TO STUDY!!!

The content is understandably challenging, but the professor breaks it down in a way that's both fun and engaging for the class. She frequently tells us to eat chocolate because it elevates dopamine, and designs her tests based on lecture (attendance is optional, but still go, trust). If you hear her say "You need to know this", write it down.

This class is full of very complicated content. The class will be difficult no matter who teaches it. CCF is a bit blunt and to the point, but she knows what she is talking about and gives good lectures. You will nlt do well if you do not go to class, but attendance is not mandatory.
