Very easy going, and cares about the students.
She is a first time professor. At first, she was a little scatter brained, but ultimately was very helpful and fair. she will make sure you know your material. her exam reviews may not have all of the questions that are on the exam, so read through the chapter a little. good professor though, but a little challenging.
Dr. C... is an easy way out professor! You will not learn and the exams are administered by other professors so therefore, you are on your own if you dnt study everything!! Also, she teaches the class like a lecture not a lab.. NO HANDS ON!! An easy A but you will regret it in the long run.

She is an okay teacher but tries really hard. Her class was SO easy. She really works with the students and gives a word bank to study before the exam which is so helpful. Her reviews are very helpful. You cannot be late or you get points off your grade. If anatomy is not your thing, take her. You will do well.

Not very clear. Very hispanic pronunciations of latin words. I only learned the material because I studied hard outside of the class. Lab? No. Just additional, long lectures with "dissections" of the brain and eye, which left much to be desired. Kind enough, and she does give extra credit for homework and attendance.
She has a teaching style that is great for this class... most of it is simple memorization and she helps a lot. Good class. If you have the option, definitely get in her class.

Yes she does teach well and goes to each table to make sure we understand but her MID TERM Practical and FINAL Practical has some things she does not even cover and are EXTREMELY difficult!! She also has a smart mouth which makes you not even want to ask her anything!! Goodluck...
Attendance is a big grade factor. She verbally pop quizes everyone individually almost every class so you stay on top of your work. Easy homework but every assignment must be completed to get the percentage for your grade. If you are a good student who takes notes and pays attendance this will be a very easy A for you. She makes class interesting!
Very good professor. She is very friendly and if you ever have a question she is there to answer it for you. She cares about her students and it shows. Show up, do the easy homeworks, and the online practice tests, and you will be fine! Definitely take her.

AP1 Lab. You have to take her. She is awesome. Funny, young, and the way she teaches the material you WILL learn. Creates a very comforting environment, reviews constantly and uses analogy after analogy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

If you don't like hw, don't take her because you will fail. The presentations, videos, chapters outlines, simplification of hard to understand concepts greatly made me enjoy this class. She is VERY fun and keep the class going. I did enjoy her class and would love to take another class with her. Attendance is mandatory.
If you do not like hw or attending class DO NOT choose this teacher. She is extremely strict on attendance and it gets frustrating bcause she doesnt learn everyones name and marks you absent even when you are there! She will fail you if you miss her class which is a bit outrageous because she only reads off the powerpoint. Good Luck
Great teacher! She is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is very consistant with reviewing every day on material and has a lot of homework assignments. She is super nice and helpful. She gives a lot of extra credit and has her students interests in mind. highly recommend.

She is probably the best teacher I've had. She constantly reviews over the material throughout the lecture which helps a lot! However, she is strict on attendance, and homework assignments are long but it's very easy + tests are online. Definitely recommend!

So easy, community college students may complain about the amount to study in this class, but for a student that attends a rigorous university this is a cake- walk. Trust take her online or in class does not matter. Lecture and Lab is really easy to get an A in. Plus you do learn a lot of information. If you actually pay attention.
Took this class online and it's honestly hard not to pass this class. Grades get posted almost immediately. Just make sure you complete the connect assignments to 100% for the section to get credit for it. Loved this class!

By Far the easiest class i took this semester!! Should be absolutely no reason not to pass this class with an A! just make sure you do your online assignments which are due every Monday at 11:59 and participate in class. she is by far the easiest anatomy teacher and very nice as well. print out power points and don't even bother on buying the book!
I think its harder to not pass this class with an A then to actually pass with an A. Do all the assignments and decent on the test and you pretty much walk away with an A. She is unorganized with her class however !
Took her A&P1 hybrid class, extremely easy assignments that are online & due Monday nights before midnight. However, if you chose to take her hybrid course you'll regret it. Reads off PP, only allowed 1 absence per semester & gives pop quizzes if she feels that not enough students are "participating." Just take the course online & save your time.
Take her online. I did the hybrid class and it wasn't even useful. I ended up with an A but online is much better!!!

The test are kind of hard. She gives extra credit. If you complete all assignment you will get a 100. I have not done great on the test and I have an A in the class and term is just about over. Just get 100 on your assignments and you will pass.
She is a nice teacher, and by now I have an A; even though, I've failed first test because of computer problems. No makeup in that case, by the way. Now I have final coming, hope it won't be too difficult. As she said it's 50 questions and 400 points. Participation matters in her class, and you better be on time.
This professor is VERY rude. She talks down to you and is of no help. I was .75 points away from a B and she would not even budge. If you are having technical errors she doesn't care. Avoid her if you can!!!!

This professor DOES NOT give study guides. She sets you up for FAILURE!! After taking tests she does not go over them so you can see what you got wrong or right for that matter. I would think that a biology professor would want all of her studes to be successful in her class. By doing so giving her class study guides!! This will be ESSENTIAL!!

She really is no help at all. I bombed the first test and i went up asked her what i did wrong and what i can do to raise my grade and she basically just said study more... not much help. On the final final practical exam she put questions that were only discussed very briefly during lab and never brought up again. Not a very good professor.
To make a long story short, just avoid her. She does give extra credit but takes points away from not being in class or late. SPELLING counts!!! The grade you earn is the grade you get. Doesnt budge with bumping up your grade.

Great teacher. If you need help she will answer emails even on the weekends. You have to buy the Connect access code buy the one that has the ebook, it's so much cheaper then the hard cover. She gives extra credit. Do your work on time and you should be fine.
She is a good teacher. She answers her own questions which is annoying. She has four test all online and all out of 100 points. If you do all your test and hw assignments and dont miss a class there should be no problem to get at least a high B or A in the class. Just do the work and dont miss a class. 10 points for not missing a class.
The largest of her faults is the online assignments do not sync with her tests at all. You will spend a few hours answering up to 225 questions online. She takes her test questions from a test bank that has no overlap with the online assignments. Tests are very, very difficult.
This professor was ok. I was .25 points away from an A and she will not budge to raise it. 4 test online a lot of hw assignments which are all online and the final which is in class which you want to study for bc it is not easy.

Easy class, she's a good professor. You cannot show up late to class because she will take points off, but gives 10 points extra credit if you there on time. I will take her class again. 4 exams are online and the final in class. If you go to the review for the final you will do good in this test.

Professor Christensen was awesome for Both A&P 1 and 2. The toughest part of this class is the online tests. Though some students were able to pass them with no problem. She is HILARIOUS! I promise. She really knows her stuff and keeps going over the material until you get it. Participation and attendance are a HUGE MUST! I definitely recommend her
Don't take this class is horrible . 165 questions of home work for each chapter and not test reviews . Get ready for O, trust me . I made a bad choice , she don't know how to teach . 100% bad .

Do all the assignments! A lot of homework and each is worth 100 pts. I took Anatomy I in the summer and it was hectic w/hw (100-220 questions). Homework is easy, but can be tedious. Also, it doesn't really reflect tests. There's no midterm, just a final exam (mandatory). No reviews either-only 30 pg notes per chapter. Failed all tests but passed.
Please do not take her class she does not know how to lecture and she gives us a final exam at the end of the course that is worth 400 points so if you fail the final exam then you fail the class basically. She also, gives a lot of homework 100-300 questions and it could take up at least 2 days of completing the homework. DO NOT TAKE HER TRUST ME!
I took the online course and only received an A because she had to give out so much extra credit. All of the test questions were completely different then what was presented on the mastering assignments/homework. I would may be take her again but not online.
Would not recommend this professor to anyone. I took the online course and the information covered in the assignments was not the same material on the test. The final exam is worth a lot of points so if you fail the exam, you will fail the class.
Not lenient. Takes off points off your grade if you are late/absent. Threatens to withdraw u if u are absent more than twice. I do not like the way class participation is graded, you get a point each time you answer a question in class & she adds up all the points at the end. total points 150, but the thing is, she doesn't even ask 70 questions.
Very easy class, requires a lot of reading but everything on the quizzes and exam is on her notes and PowerPoint. She offers a lot of extra credit. Only thing was at first she took along time to reply to her emails or discussion questions other than that its an easy A. Just read her notes and complete the labs online and you will pass!
Online course. 2000 points: 14-100 point assignments due weekly, 4-100 point exams, 1-200 point final, 2 extra credit assignments totaling 150 points. You can feasibly finish the course in one month. Between assignments and extra credit you'll get a C. Final is mandatory, but all tests are easy if you at minimum reach the outlines. Easy A.
Had this professor for BSC2085 Lab and she held students to a very high standard of only one absence per semester before youre dropped and Failed in the class. She herself missed a total of 3 classes during the semester which was very unprofessional. Test did not match the study material at all and she was very stingy about extra credit. 0/5
Strongly advised against taking her advance course. You will not have time to study for the lab (which is a very unforgiving course). 4 chapters/week and at least 100 questions/chapter. And that's if you get the questions right the first round. In order to get credit for the questions, you must answer them all, so you either get 100 or 0.
They homework is a lot of questions, especially when it is the express class. The tests are fairly simple if you read the textbook and her resources; she even offers extra credit. The only grades are the homework (easy A if you just finish it) and tests, so it isn't that hard like everyone is saying. You will be fine in this class if you just try.
Her online BSC2085L course was so simple! Do about 15 (easy) quizzes and 9 (also easy) assignments relating to the quiz. Very straightforward and not difficult at all! I also found her to be very nice when responding to my emails. Just be kind to her and she will return the favor. Would totally recommend this course to anyone! :)
I have taken many science classes and at first I thought I was missing something. I thought this couldn't possibly be this easy. I promise you it is. Don't over think it. I took it online and completed the entire lab in a week. You honestly probably won't learn ANYTHING but if you like getting A's for doing almost nothing, she is perfect. I promise
There is so much material its hard to know what you need to know for the test. SO MUCH MATERIAL. I hear all the homework assignments help with your final grade. Home work consist of 100 questions for EACH CHAPTER.

Professor does not wok with you at all! My computer was giving me a lot of trouble and I missed the deadline for one homework and as I emailed her the situation she basically told me "sorry not sorry". She doesn't work with you at all! Homework and tests are easy as long as you read/study. On the plus side she does respond to emails.

I took her online class- getting an A is easy if you do all her assignments. She offers extra credit too. If you want a professor to engage with this is not the class for you. If you're taking this class so that you can apply it to nursing or such, you have to be very disciplined to teach it to yourself. This professor does minimal teaching.
If you fail her online class you seriously need to reevaluate your life, I don't know what to tell you. If you take her for BSC2085, you can use the same Online Book for BSC2086, so you can save money that way.
Ive taken her class for & with a grade of BSC2085-B+, BSC2085L-B+, BSC2010-A+, &MCB2010L-C+. Lecture class is a lot of work 100Q. Even though her lect Is a lot, there is no way you can fail her class. You can miss 2-3 lect & still receive a good grade. She gives 100points Extra credit Or more. A few on labs. Great Professor. Stay on point.
Dr. Christensen was for all intents and purposes a fine professor. She mostly reads off of the slides. She'll do mini-reviews mid-lecture. If that's your learning style, great. After lecture, she quizzes each group on the corresponding anatomical model. We had 4 grades for the entire semester. There were a couple of opportunities for extra credit.
I had her in a hybrid class and worked at my own pace, I felt she explains things pretty well. Getting a good grade is not out of reach by any means. She does give points for in class participation.
Take this class online, yes you have to put in the work to pass. If you do you will get an A. Must have first grade in on time, all class work is open and go at your own pace. Be careful must score 100% on certain modules. If you don't you get a zero. Super easy to talk to, sends response to emails within 24hrs. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR TAKE HER CLASS!!
This class was very organized. All of the assignments are open, so you're able to get ahead. You get unlimited attempts for the assignments, but you have to get a 100% or you receive no credit at all. The quizzes weren't too hard & they're not timed. There are two exams, that consisted of 50 questions in 50 minutes. I highly recommend this class.
She is argumentative and difficult to deal with and her grading method is odd. You get a 100, or you get a 0. I got 100s on everything but 1 thing and it brought my grade down to a B. If you need help with something, she is rude and condescending. I never complain about profs but she was frustrating and I had to contact my advisor several times.
Be very careful because she grades everything 100 or nothing. The labs online are tideous. She is a little slow to respond to email, but she is caring. You will learn a lot and earn your grade.
Ehhh. This class was alright in my opinion ONLY because I took it online and it was quite easy to pass. The homework for most chapters were SO tedious and lengthy. I did not like her all or nothing method but she provided so much extra credit (150 points). I got 0s on two sections and still ended up with a 97 thanks to her extra credit. Easy A.
Easiest A I've experienced as a student anywhere. You must get 100% on each assignment (online through the textbook publisher), but this is easy because you have multiple attempts and you have the option to see if your answer is correct (literal "check my answer" button). Quiz questions come straight from this. I wanted an easy A and I got one.
If you are a self-motivated student and able to teach yourself new material with minimal input from a professor, then this is the class for you. Every Monday, there was a 100pt assignment due (14 TOTAL). Each assignment has 90-120 questions and you either get 100% or a 0%. There are 4 exams + the final(400pts). She gives 160pts extra credit.
I did not pick this teacher originally she was given to my class cause the one I picked did not show. I only got a C in the class cause i was not clear on the instruction with the only test and you only got two attempts and i opened and closed it and forgot about it so that was a 0 and my second attempt was not all that good.
Professor Christensen was an easy A, you can't fail because you must get 100% on every assignment. You get multiple attempts, and can't finish unless you get 100%. Must meet deadlines but, if you don't contact her and she will open up assignment and let you resubmit with 100%. Do yourself a favor take her online class SOOOO EASY! Taking her again!
Anyone who doesn't pass the online class, isn't doing it correctly. There is 1 assignment/chpt per week and 1 quiz every 3 chpts. You have all week to read the chpt and complete the assignment with a 100 (just answering questions). 1 Final. It's not a hard class, she doesn't bother you with random work. Clear-cut. Happily, taking her again.
I took this class as a hybrid and honestly it could've been completed all online. She's very nice and won't pick on you if you don't raise your hand. The class is homework heavy and she assigns about 100 questions a week for you to complete and get a 100% on. If you don't get the 100% you get a 0%. But you makeup the questions you miss.
I enjoyed texting her class she really breaks down information so you can understand it. She has hw and exams online as long as you manage your time correctly you can pass
This class is literally so easy that if you fail you are the problem. You just do the assignment to 100% and all the answers are on google. Tip: download Socratic and take a picture of the question which makes it so much easier.
This class was through a simulator online and was really easy. the information was tough but the online program explained it and Professor Chistensen posted extra notes. My only issue is that sometimes the connect online simulator has malfunctions. If yours does email her early so she knows and she will work with you about the grade. She's so nice!
This class is easy. You can finish the class as fast as you want online because the professor leaves all assignments open. You have to score 100% on all assignments. If I can do it you can. I would advise to work ahead. Assignments are easy if you read instructions you can get stuck but if you ask the professor for guidance she will help.

I took her for BSC2085 and BSC2085Lab. There's a lot of assignments that you have to complete to 100, which I appreciated bc that automatically gives you a pretty good grade, and I never got less than an A on the tests. The lab class was so easy. Easy lab sims, quizzes, and exams in lab. Responds to emails quickly. Will take again for MCB2010.
I only took her for lab, the class is easy A. Do the virtual lab online pay attention to deadline on assignments and you will be fine. Shes easy to reach via email.
she uses connect for all her assignments. The amount of work for each chapter will take more than 8 hours to complete unless you're a genus. I wouldn't take her class again. If you do take her class get ready for a lot of homework and be ready to put in the work. She gives an assignment as extra credit, but grade heavily. good luck!
This is a learn it yourself class, whenever I asked questions about anything she kept referring to the text (which didn't help me in the first place). When I asked about study guides for exams she recommended doing prac test because tests come from book. Brightside is, tests can be open book. Also, no late hw/quiz/exams accepted, automatic zero.
This is such an easy class if you don't get an A you have to have problems. All the assignments are open so that you can work ahead with the hw. You get 4 tests and the final. This is such an easy class OMG. I'm taking her again for the lab.
This class is so easy, she gives tons of extra credit, I took her for A&P I and got an easy A then I took her again for A&P II cuz I didn't have to buy the access code again and this one is even easier cuz u do less work. I'm taking her again for Bio lab. If you need an A in Anatomy this is the class for u believe me.

Took her bio1 online class. Super straightforward, 4 exams, 15 ch hws, & final. Quick to reply to emails for any questions. All the answers can be found online. Just make sure you get 100% on the hws. eBook is required for the hw but never used the textbook for anything. Would recommend for easy A
took her for bsc2085 online and received an A in the class. it is an online class so there were connect assignments, don't wait until last minute to do them because it will take a while. offers extra credit! taking her again for a&p2 lecture.
The class was easy, unless you make any sort of tiny mistake with the technology. She has no empathy with anyone. I would not recommend.
1 assignment a week on McGraw. it's extremely easy, people who complain didn't manage time well. Each assignment took anywhere between 2-4 hours to complete but you could pick at it throughout the week. The homework is EASY. you can get the questions wrong 1,000 times and still receive full credit once correct. if you miss the due date it's a 0.

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS! You will end up teaching yourself EVERYTHING! Her only job is to answer her emails and yet she doesn't do it unless you nag her 100 times. Took her weeks to answer me. Super unorganized so I missed a few assignments. Technical problems with the grade book and she couldnt care to help me. Had to call technical support for hours
does not care, the course has emails from 2016.. this is my 2nd time taking this course with this teacher because even though I had an A the entire course and got an A on all the exams I turned in my final late and ultimately got an automatic F & SHE FAILED ME. The class has 750 pts total,exams alone 650 pts. nothing matters except the exams. (0/5)
This class was extremely easy. Spots fill up fast for a reason. The work was long Connect assignments and you must complete to 100% but come on, you would rather do those than what youd do in class. Turn in your work on time, do the timed test, no lockdown and pass. Simple. People only fail because they wait till last min to do Connect.
This was the easiest hybrid class I have ever taken. The homework was very long but manageable. I had a 99 in the class at the end, but was blind-sided with an F on a policy that was never mentioned in class. I reached out trying to see what happened, she gave me a very condescending and what seemed like an automated response. Do not recommend.
She piles the chapters together into multiple 200 question tests and times them so you cant take any breaks. Thats quite literally 3 hours and 20 minutes of staring at a computer screen and its really mentally exhausting. She only gives you 1 min per question. Lectures are also boring. She brags about how long the tests are on the first day too.
I taught myself the entire semester. I did not hear from this prof at any point during the semester. If you do not have the time to dedicate to teaching yourself and reading chapters of the text, I would not recommend this prof. However, if that is something you're okay with, it is a decent class.
This teacher DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. This teacher emailed me asking why I missed the first assignment and I told her, and she did not care at all and dropped me from her class. If she was planning to drop me either way, why couldn't she inform me I would get dropped so I had time to register for a different biology class? RIDICULOUS.
Lectures are terrible so be prepared to teach yourself all of the material. If you try to email her she gives you a condescending response, very unhelpful and not caring. If you do good on all the labs you can end the class with a decent grade. Quizzes are proctored just make sure to be aware of due dates of assignments.
Fully online, 13 labs, about 7 assignments (easy to finish and complete quickly, also all due on the same day as quiz) + Quiz each lab, quizzes are with webcam (different system from lockdown browser), course evaluation is extra credit, enough space between each lab to complete and not feel overwhelmed. I do recommend her class.
She gives a lot of extra credit, the assignments are sooo easy. I definitely recommend this teacher.
This professor is terrible, she has no will to see her students succeed and essentially sets you up for failure. I would have an A in her class if she weren't so lazy as to actually go into pearson and GRADE homework. You can get 11/12 parts of a question wrong on a homework assignment with only 4 questions and still get a 75 on the HW. BEWARE
Sarcastic, rude, does not care about student success & a smart aleck. Throws postit's to everyone to label muscles/ bones all semester and then "quizzes" for no credit at end of class. ZERO extra credit. Tests worth 70 percent of final grade. Did not show up for final review. Rude, again. Entire class received a D or F, except 2-5 people.
