I have a 4.0 GPA, and I must say I hate this teacher. She is easy, but she makes you read boring damn stories out of the book to write essays. At the end of the semester, you must write an eight page research paper; she is also boring. I must say, this class just got in the way of all my other classes. I just really hate this teacher.

Clark is a fantastic professor she is very passionate when it comes to the subject. The class consists of 5 in-class essays 1 mid-term exam,1 final and a research paper that is it. Just make sure you read the assigned stories and poems+ essays and you'll get an "A"

Amazing! I had so much fun in my first English class with her, that I took her two more times for my LIT classes. She knows what she's doing, and you'll be able to see it. She's also extremely kind, and actually gives a damn about her students. Don't BS her though. Take advantage and you WILL flunk! Essays are her bread-and-butter, but she'll help.

she is very flexible with students and tries to help them.doesnt just point out what we need to work on but also what we do great on the paper. We had to do a research paper and she was very open to any topic we want. if you do the work its very easy. its usually read a story and then she will discuss it on class nd do an essay.

Words cannot explain how much I enjoyed Dr. Clark's class. She is a wonderful woman and she really knows what she is teaching. Great to speak with and great for help. She helped me understand writers that I thought were just too complicated. She is probably the best Literature teacher at MDC. Take her and do not be afraid of all of the readings.

Dr. Clark is FANTASTIC! She's fun, super understanding, but mostly she is super passionate about what she does. I absolutely love her classes so much that I'll be following her through LIT2480 and LIT2120! The best part about her is: NO TESTS! Just essays, all of them are in class! And if you can't make it she gives you a week to make them up.

She is truly passionate about what she is teaching. She keeps you interested very energetic. There are not tests in the class. There are 4 essays and one final term paper, which you pick what you want to write about and thats about it. Her class is super great and the essays are quite easy. Just do not miss her classes it does get to her.

This is my second class with Dr. Clark, and as before, I love her. She makes her expectations clear and realistic, and is really understanding if you have extenuating circumstances. She doesn't believe in tests, there are 5 essays in this class, the final essay being 5-7 pages on anything to do with literature and culture. Highly recommended!

Dr. Clark doesnt teach from a textbook but she does require you to buy " the language equation" a book of reading passages. when she teaches and explains things she does it very enthusiastically keeping the class entertaining. she is not a difficult grader but she does grade fairly

This professor is a little crazy, but keeps you interested in class, her class is easy to miss but try not to since she gets really picky about that and her assignments. Her assignments are really easy, you can easily pass her class it is not hard just be creative in your writing assignments. The book was a complete waste of money as it was no need

Great professor, always helpful whenever you have a question. She is pretty lenient when it comes to grading, but you do have to do all the work seeing as she doesn't give that much. Just one research paper and a few in class writing assignments.

Very enthusiastic and laid back! Loves wat she does and it shows by the knowledge and enthusiasm used. She explains EVERYTHING in class down to the "T" so the essay assignments r super easy. there's only 3 short essays and one 7-10pg research paper based on WATEVER u want.... HIGHLY recommend!

I don't know why I'm writing all of this because to put it simply, this lady is AWESOME. No homework, no studying, no final. Just a few essays throughout the semester and a research paper in the end. You get less than an A, then you really didn't deserve it. There is no way not to get it.

Easy A,save your money on the 'language Equation book' and copy the pages, grades accuratly and fair, she walks you threw a research paper witch acounts for 70% of your grade -- LIsten carfully... follow her councle on time managment. Prepare to feel like you're back in High school. She'll baby you and walk you through the research paper for her class. She makes you buy this expensive book she edited for a few of the stories, just find the stories you need online to save the money.

Funny professor, very talkative but she's cool. About 5 essays that she basically walks you through, she gives topics so you can plan at home. She always gives students feedback and want to help you if needed. Book really isn't necessary because the storiespoems are on the web. Took her for 1101&1102, two easy A's.

Here's the deal. She's a very good English professor. I took her for Enc1101 and Enc1102. She's very different in Enc1102 from Enc1101. Since there's a mandatory research paper, she helps by guiding you. But, she tends to be picky of what she wants from the research paper. Overall she's good. Just really get into her brain and figure what she wants

Her grades are based on the papers and the papers only, so if you don't like writing papers, I don't suggest her. She's a bit quirky, but super nice, she's an easy grader as long as your papers make sense. Attendance isn't mandatory, you just have to be there to turn in your work.

Professor Clark - treats students like people, not numbers; goes beyond their call of duty in terms of helping students and holding office hours; she not only knows her material, but as well know how to teach it well. Professor Clark understands the student and concerns the class may have. She is a complete sweetheart, very caring and empathetic!

Shes an amazing professor that actually cares for her students. NO HOMEWORK & NO TEST! The only thing that you are graded on are 5 essays and a midterm and final essay and also a research project that you basically have the whole semester to do. Easy grader, and she lets you take the essay home if you're not done with it in class.

The 6-week course in an easy A. She is very caring, sweet, and understanding. However, do not take advantage of her. Her class lectures consisted of talking about the final research report (worth 40% of grade) and discussing assigned stories for in class essays. We wrote an essay almost every week. Do the work and try, you're sure to get an A.

Dr. Clark is fantastic. She is not a typical language teacher, as in she doesn't get disillusioned by the writing. Rather, she is very aware of what she is talking about, and is very engaged with it.
