Cheryl is a very approachable teacher. The assignments are not hard, and there is a lot of extra credit available. For success on tests, memorize her lectures and review figures in text book. Reading chapters is a waste of time because she lectures straight from the text omitting what she feels you don't need to know. I would recommend her!

This was a very smooth BIO class and I highly recommend. There was a pretty significant amount of reading that needed to be done, but you'll find that in any BIO class. Hackworth did a pretty good job of spacing out assignments and midterms too. You get a good grade if you do the work. Pretty straightforward.

uses her delusional authority for personal validation rather than teaching. Her responses to questions are defensive and emotionally reactive, and her noticeable shifts in demeanor reveal her Fragile ego with erratic emotionally charged spikes. Should not be in teaching

Amazing professor! She gives a TON of extra credit. All the test questions come straight from her lectures. Labs were straight forward and easy. She lets you use AI on work as well as long as you cite it. She also provides tons of extra resources to learn and hosts office hours weekly. Overall, her class is very easy BUT very time consuming.

I am the only reason I didn't get an A in this class. She gives SO much extra credit and will check all of your work before it's due to ensure you get the best grade you can. Overall she's pretty laidback and easy going. I've also never seen a professor bring in snacks and coffee for everyone for the final which was super nice.

Definitely a hard class, she came off really scary at first but by the end, I realized she really just wanted everyone to succeed. She offers so so much extra credit and feedback before labs are due. After week 5, exams are every other week so beware of that. As long as you put in the effort you can pass this class.
