I took COM 110 online, and she was very helpful. The class was easy just make the deadline. Final was even online and open book! The class was interesting too. I think this was my favortite and most easy class this semester.

Her online course has assignments due at the end of every week. It's an easy class with a nice and helpful teacher.

Very good instructor

Made interpersonal communication very interesting. Mid-term was not the usual exam but a power point project that was fun and interesting. Had us blog and comment on each other in order to have us interact and communicate. I fell in love with communication after this class. I will be taking more from her. Might even change my major.

took a hybrid class. her class required lots of outside classroom meetings with group members for projects. she grades very generously, but there are 3 peer evaluations done by group members. A textbook from the library is good enough for weekly tests which are done online. Very fun class.

I took an online class of hers and was never lost on what was required of me.

The content is actually quite difficult however the instructor makes you understand it in various formats that relate to realistic situations in your life. This helped me learn concepts and theory do better on exams and want to go to class. Plus I actually knew my classmates. excellent class. I'm taking 110 next semester. I actually learned a lot!

This online Media class was more difficult than my ASU media class. Even so I learned a lot and the assignments were interesting and timely. Study for the assessments! start the paper early!

I though college was kind of a waste of time but she took the time to explain why a degree was important and how to apply each course not only hers to something real in my life. I am terrified of public speaking!!! I dropped this class with other instructors 2x. This prof has you work up to your speeches in a an amazing way. You have to go to class do the work ask for help if you need it. If you have to take public speaking I would take Hebert.

The best Public Speaking teacher on Campus. If you get a bad grade or feel intimated in this course you are not following along. She made it comfortable and easy for me and I have social anxiety. My second course with her. She worked with me outside of class. Loved this professor!!

I really liked the online Com 100 class. It was very well organized and the prof made us communicate online with other students so we actually got to know each other. There is work but its doable if you manage your time. Prof also uses timely examples. Im taking a n in person class in the Spring.

Overall she was a great professor. All I can say is make sure you listen in class, many times she will only say something important once so if you miss it or weren't in class that day you're out of luck. The speeches weren't too hard (three in total). But if you're really afraid of public speaking she's very understanding of that. Would take again.

Cheryl was a great professor. As long as you keep up with the work, its an easy A. There is a lot of reading and assignments but its easy work. She gives great feedback and really engages the class to get to know each other and communicate.

Love this online class. She gives super specific grading rubrics. If you meet the points on the rubric you get 100%. All assignments for modules are due on Sundays so you have to have good time management. She gives good feedback and obviously reads everything we turn in. I enjoy the assignments too.

Dr. Hebert takes time to ensure each and every student is tracking and works with students that might be struggling to stay current on assignments due to sudden life events that can get in the way. She seeks to understand the situation and to find ways to help the student help themselves by finding adaptive solutions to get them back on track.

She is awesome! This online class was very easy, and she is very detailed when giving feedback. There's nothing on there that is impossibly difficult, and she makes the assignments very easy. I loved taking this online class! Every assignment for the week is given on monday and you have until sunday to complete 4-5 assignments for the week. If you meet the criteria, you get 100% and she leaves. nice little notes for you on every assignment.

I took this class as a fast-track summer course. I throughly enjoyed it and it was an easy A. She gives your clear rubrics and almost on every assignment gives you feedback. The only downside is how much textbook reading there is, but she did mention she is going to update the textbook for her next class because ours were pretty out-of date.

There is a public speaking element to this course, that's what really threw me. In an online class that part of it was more difficult than I expected because of the technology side. However, I really liked the the material. Because it was online, the professor was pretty hands off, but she was always accessible through canvas and quick to reply.

I wish more professors were like her! She was quick and responsive to messages, and super helpful. As long as you do the assignments and participate in discussion boards you will do good!

The Group projects were amazing. She switches up the groups three times so you are not stuck with the same people. The skills are all applicable to things you would do in any work situation, and I learned a lot of new technical skills during COVID19. Professor has explicit instructions for all assignments, therefor any confusion or doubt professor is willing to offer help that same day. Professor keeps in touch with his/her students for any occasions of assignments that may have an error or misunderstanding. It does require an app with a purchase over $60.

I believe that the teacher did well in making sure everything has a response to it, although it was my bad for not checking all the responses to certain assignments. I do believe some did need better clarification, but it wasn't too hard to manage. Wish I did a lot better in this class as it was a lot of fun to do.

Her grading criteria is very clear in her rubrics. She gives examples for every assignment, and yes, they are mostly papers/essays. She gives great feedback on every assignment. Her expectations for you are clear on the first day.

I enjoyed learning the entire time, reflecting on myself thoroughly by applying Professor Hebert's teachings to my education, my profession and my personal life.
