Ms. Wood is great! She cares about her students and how they do. She is very helpful. I think it helps to have some computer knowledge for the class. If you don't have any now, you will by the end of the semester. I recommend taking her if you can.

Genuninely cares about her students and there success, will go out of her way to help you if you need any (although you probably won't, the class is extremely easy). No final. Is boring, but only because I knew what was going on and had to listen to little freshman **** and complain about not understanding. Blah...blah...blah! That had to be the worst part about the class, the students. Teacher is great and lets you work in class on projects. But is extremly easy if you know your way around a computer!!!

easy class, a lot of easy homeworks and working together in class on assignments. 1 group project and a research report. No tests, quizes or final. useful class because she shows you how to use the towson library database which is good for looking up articles and books. Very sweet lady, extremlely helpful, wants her students to do well.

By no means is this class easy, there is quite a bit of work due all at the same time; however, Mrs Wood is very helpful and is always there. There's no textbook which is nice but it makes attendance pretty mandatory. My roommate takes the same class with a different teacher and she only has to go to class 3 times the whole semester! But overall ok

By far NOT AN EASY A!! Ms Wood is an extremely helpful professor, however, it is an overload of work given all at the same time. All assignments overload, and many assigments are time consuming and are pointless.

Easy A. For all those people who said that it was an overload of work, obviously waited until the very last minute to complete all the "pointless" assignments. Mrs. Wood is so extremely nice and helpful that many people unfortunatley take advantage of. A few assignments about researching, a simple group project and an easy research paper.I reccomme

Ms. Wood is fun and funny! She relates everything to a joke and makes the class very personalized. Other than the research paper, the work was very easy and even somewhat fun.

Very nice and sweet as a person, but I do not think she is a good teacher. She threw a lot of work at us the last month of the semester. If you work hard and turn your assignments in on time you will get an A. If you wait until the last minutes to do things you'll have difficulty.

Wah, wah, wah. . . some people complain too much about work. What did you come to college for anyway? This is an easy class if you keep up with the work and don't miss too many classes. Can't get more helpful teachers than Ms. Wood.

Mrs. Wood is a great teacher. You do one big research paper at the end of the semester and she is VERY helpful in helping you find information. I'm not sure I learned anything, but the class is very easy. She doesn't like students with attitudes, so don't give her one. No need to buy the book, doesn't use it. Kinda confusing on when things are due.

Mrs. Wood is great. There are a lot of little assignments here and there that aren't difficult at all. Make sure you check blackboard DAILY to make sure that she didn't put one up that's due in the next couple of days. The research paper isn't bad at all. She is SO approachable with it. Get help if you need it! She has a good sense of humor.

Well, duh, people. Of course if you wait until the last minute to do a bunch of work it'll be difficult. This class is no more challenging than a high school class. Ms. Wood is extremely helpful and very thorough with every aspect of the research paper. She gives you an entire semester to work on it. Welcome to college, folks. There's work here!

I don't know what you're all talking about. None of the assignments are given at once. There's a calendar over the entire semester that outlines the work for the research paper. The assignments are NOT pointless. Almost every one pertains to the final paper. No midterm, no final, no textbook. About as easy as you can get for a research paper class.

Very small workload for towson seminar. very strict on apa formatting and boring in lectures, but I think the small workload makes up for it. Easy B, and with a little extra effort an A is certainly reachable.

This class could have been taken entirely online, but it is not her fault. The assignments are not hard, but a little time consuming. She is a fairly easy grader; however, she tends to take off points for dumb reasons. You have a few short writing assignments, but nothing too big. Just stay on top of all the assignments and you'll be fine!

Class is very simple lectures generally. If you actually put effort into all the assignments according to her very specific criteria then the class is very easy. Explains her expectations well and assigns work that helps you write the final research paper. Willing to help with everything and understanding.

Professor Wood by far is one of the nicest and down to earth professors I have ever had. She was so sweet and always wanted to talk. Her class wasn't the most engaging, but it was an easy A. Just do your assignments (which aren't very hard) and you will get an A. Participate it makes the class go by faster.

She is a very nice lady but I felt as if I learned nothing. We got many classes off which was nice. The one thing that I liked is how much help she provides when completing the final paper. The final paper, and the preparation for it, are all that you do in this class.

One of the sweetest professors I've had. Prepares you for the research paper that is about 12 pages long and is always there if you need help. Class is boring most of the time and she grades tough but it's only to help with your research paper. She lets you out early most classes. Definitely would recommend her!

Prof. Wood is a really nice lady. She is very disorganized though. Her criteria is often unclear and she takes a long time to respond to emails. She tends to ramble in class, but does take the time to show you many different technologies you can use in the classroom. Do your work on time, with good effort and actually go to class and you'll pass.

Professor wood is by far my favorite professor I had this semester. She really helps prepare you for the research paper. Very easy A in my opinion. Do well on your research evaluations, and when it comes time to write the paper, it basically writes itself. TAKE HER!

Wasn't excited to take TSEM, but Professor Wood was great. It isn't too hard to get an A, just participate in class, and listen to her feedback. It helped me become A LOT better with APA format, and I felt that as long as I tried my best there was no way I wouldn't get an A. Highly recommend taking her class, very helpful and nice.

Great, caring, and positive woman. she is probably the most down to earth woman i have met at Towson. That being said the paper is 10 to 15 pages in her class, which is easy to do good on. Other TSEM classes are around 5 to 7 pages. Really good professor but if your looking to not put the time in id look at a different professor for a smaller final

Professor Wood cares about the grades she gives you and is willing to help you if you ask. The main thing is a 12 page paper and the whole class is leading up to that and she teaches you how to do it in depth. She will help you in depth if you are struggling to find research for your topic. Definitely recommend her even though class can be boring.

I will warn you! Class will be boring but you will have a computer in front of you so it won't be that bad. The class does not have an heavy coursework. The main focus of the class is to write a 12+ page research paper in which you basically complete in parts within the class. Her grading criteria were clear. Take her!

She talks a lot and really cares about her students. No tests or quizzes, only a 14 page research paper, which is not difficult at all. She gives extra credit on your paper if you go to the writing center and she also allows for you to play a computer programming game for 10 extra points as well. She's a tough grader but she's worth it.

Sweetest woman ever, she just wants everyone to do well. Some days in class just for showing up she gives extra credit. hella extra credit online too. Theres a 15 pg research paper due at the end but dont let that scare you, its honestly so slight. The way she sets it up it writes itself, If you go to writing center she gives 10 extra points!

I loved having her as my TSEM teacher. She actually cares about her students and wanted us to do well on our paper. The paper was most of our grade so I would work hard to do well on it. Lots of help was given through blackboard and in class to guide us when writing the paper and extra credit was given.

Professor Wood is amazing. She really cares about her students. The class is based around one huge research paper. If you show that you at least tried on the paper and you actually did try, you will get a high grade. Take all the assignments seriously and you will pass the class. Im terrible at essays, yet got an A plus in this class.

She has a conference with you where she will read and give you feedback on your research paper, which is very beneficial. She is somewhat of a hard grader but it is easy to do well in her class

Prof Wood is a really caring person!! I got bronchitis during the semester and every time after that when I came to class, she made it a point to ask how I was doing. She likes to get to know students. Do the work for the class, actually show up and you'll get an A, the final paper isn't that hard, just learn how to research and it writes itself.

Professor Wood was one of my favorite professors during my freshman year. Her TSEM class is very easy if you pay attention. She gives good feedback and you can go to her about anything. She is very sweet and caring for her students, you can tell she wants everyone to succeed.

That doesn't mean she is lenient with deadlines, but she provides great feedback on assignments, and there's really only a weekly online thread and a paper on a topic of your choice. Lectures are basically her talking about relatable events.

If you show up (she ends face-to-face classes about a month before the final paper is due), you will pass! Just talk to her, she'll listen! Take her class if you want to learn!!!

I enjoyed this professor a lot if you don't like to write then you will not like this class. Classes were always fun because we would have conversations on different topics. She does sometimes go off topic but tells interesting stories. Not too much homework very chill but you will write a 12-14 page paper at the end so prepare early.

I actually really enjoyed her as a professor as she is very caring and understanding. There are not really any assignments in this class besides the big research paper at the end that will be from 12-16 pages long. As it is long you build up slowly to writing that paper. She gives random very easy extra credit points. No quizzes/tests. Easy A.

Very nice sweet lady. There is a big paper due at the end of the semester but you work on it throughout the whole semester so its really not that bad and she's pretty easy doesn't give a lot of work. Would definitely take her again and I am not that good of a writer she makes a hard class a lot easier.

This class was supposed to be in-person but she ended up making it hybrid. We met on Tuesday and then didn't have class on Thursday to do the assignment that we discussed the previous day. Assignments were so easy. Had great discussions in class. Would always post the assignments so not really necessary to show up to class. Great professor.

TAKE HER FOR TSEM. She is kind, sweet, funny and assignments are easy. Do all work leading up to the research paper and you will be great. Final is not during finals week and is just a reflection of the course. She answers emails quick, and is the professor everyone would want. She cares for students deeply. Highly recommend!

Professor Wood is the sweetest professor ever. If you think you can pass easily just because its a 102 class, its your own fault don't blame the professor. There is a huge 16-20 page research paper due by the end of the semester, but she gradually builds it up in class so its doable really.

Obviously, there is a paper, she used to make it 12-14 pages but for this year dropped it to 8 pages excluding resources, cover, etc. She's very kind lectures are boring but go and smile you'll do fine. The paper does "write itself" but her grading is extremely specific, ask to resubmit she'll likely say yes.

Professor Wood is a sweet lady and genuinely seems to be interested in teaching TSEM. She is very knowledgeable about the topic and was clearly very passionate about teaching. One thing I will say, she is very boring. She just kind of gets on small tangents to herself and goes on and on. Overall, great teacher and a very fair grader.
