This guy is a genius. He also happens to make math somewhat interesting. He has an accent but explains things clearer than any other prof I've had. If you have to take math, take it with Dr. Lo.

This is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He also explains math as though you know nothing about the subject, so that even if you did, it still helps, cause you can learn it all the correct way.

He is so funny and likes to make some fun analogies.

Funny guy. You'll learn alot with Lo. He got tougher this semester however. A and B students will be challenged. Rarely goes over test answers, so make sure you get the correct answers somehow so you can review for final

If you are worried about taking statistics, this is the class for you. Dr. Lo will work with you as much as you need to make sure you understand. Great sense of humor and extremely fair in the grading process.

He is a AWSOME teacher!

I loved that as he was teaching, he won't EVERYTHING on the board, it made it much more clear to see rather than just explaining it from the book. If you are someone who has a hard time with math, i wouldn't suggest him because of his accent. But an easy math credit for those good at math.

Lo is, in short, a great professor. He's funny in a quirky way, but it makes math bearable. He has excellent notes, and teaches with passion (good for the student). I'd definately take him again!

Excellent teacher. Very nice and funny man. Great test reviews. I don't even like Statistics - but he made as easy as possible to get through. Just make sure you do the homework and you won't have any problems in his class. I would definitely take him again!

I thought I was going to die in this class but he helped me thru it. Just take it one day at a time and ask questions and you'll be ok. He really cares. He is very funny in class. Don't try to learn it in class - use the tutors in the library! I recommend this teacher! The first 5 questions on his tests are all the same.

He was a great teacher and always willing to help you if you didn't understand it. Funny kind of humor too!! His tests aren't that bad if you do your homework. Do all your homework too because he gives you extra credit.

this teacher is very understanding to students needs. you have a total of 4 tests and he gives you the reviews and go over it in class. the homework is always extra credit and he is very knowledgable. i took him for statistics and am going to take him for calculus hes great!

I thought this class was an easy A. THe first question on his tests is the same every time(10pts)and you can get 10 points of extra credit for doing the homework. He gives practice tests before each test that mirror the actual problems on the real test. If take him, I recommend just studying the practice test. I quite recommend this professor!

Dr Lo is a great teacher. He's funny at times. He gives you 10 pts extra credit added on to your test grade if you do your homework. He gives a practice test prior to each test. There very helpful! Tests 1 and 2 were very easy the rest not so. He's very helpful and strives to make sure each student knows the material. I high recommend him.

Really cares whether students understand the material. Wants us to ask questions if we don't get it. Makes the material much simpler than the book. Gives many examples and lots of chances to raise your grade. Really nice guy.

Dr. Lo knows what he's talking about. I took Statistics during the summer (which has to go really fast) and he timed it really well. He gives lots of extra credit for notes and homework. He is very patient and will meet during office hours to explain everything. He really cares about his students. If you work, he's a great teacher.

Do the work and you'll pass. You need to know the stuff if you're going to pass and he makes sure you know it. He doesn't just give you a passing grade. Tough, fair and excellent teacher. Homework and reviews are extremely important--do them and ask questions if you have any. *Hint* make lots of notes on formula sheet for tests. It helps A LOT.

He really cares for his students and will go out of his way to help out with homework or any test problem. He leaves plenty of extra credit opportunities and prepares you for the tests with a practice study guide. I'd def. reccommend him for any math class! I hated statistics but he made it easier.

Dr. Lo is awesome! HE is a teacher that realizes that math is a stepping stone to your career. He will help you through it to the very end. Very funny want you to pass. Gives extra credit to help you through. I am taking him next semester for stats.

Gives extra credit on every test and on final. There is nothing required other than test, homework is the extra credit! He is VERY clear about what is needed and explains it all..

Great teacher, i did not like math classes at all and had trouble with them before taking these classes. Now i actually like doing math, he is great and does not talk down to students. Very funny guy also.

i had a hard time with math before taking this class. he is just a good teacher. he really wants you to do well, and i did. i will take him for all of my math classes from now on.

This class was hard but if you study the practice test's you should do well on the test. The test's are not easy I took my practice test to tutoring and they where very helpful. Dr. lo is a good teacher who wants you to do well and gives extra credit and lets you drop your lowest test score.

I took Dr. Lo for calculus. This is not a class that I like but I enjoyed him. He is a great teacher and he truly cares. He wants you to do well and gives every chance he can to you. I really liked him and I will tell others about him!

Best math teacher one could ask for. He has a positive attitude and works with you so you can do your best. You must do your homework!!! He will notice when you are giving it your all!!!

Dr. Lo is very clear and helpful. Trig and precalc and stats are challenging topics, but we need to study the problems, no matter who the professors are and what their accents are like, to understand.. Dr. Lo is a great professor. I feel lucky to have been in his class and I would definitely take any class taught by him again.

great teacher. sure he moves fast through the material but in mat0024 you have too. i tool and failed 2 other 0024 classes and they all move at this pace. he was very helpful and i passed. im finding mat1033 easy because he drilled the materiel in so well.

Those bad reviews from 10/2010 are suspect and bogus. Dr. Lo is a nice funny guy & his accent is NOT bad, I dont even notice it anymore. He moves fast but will slow down if you remind him. His class is only hard if you don't do the extra credit homework. He's a lot better than most teachers at SPC. Always available for office hours help.

Dr. Lo is by far the best teacher I have had with Math. I refuse to take any other professor for a math course that is not Dr. Lo. Have had him for 3 semesters now. He really knows his stuff and wants everyone to do well.He gives you all the material you need to get nothing less than an A on all his tests. Would STRONGLY recommend him !

Excellent teacher, understanding, gives you an awesome exam review evertime. Makes it somewhat fun..keeps the class laughing. One of the best math teachers out there..makes a hard class very do-able.

Dr. lo's class was very interesting, and he was very funny. he gives out 4 tests throughout the semester. His practice tests are just like the original tests with the numbers be changed.

Professor Lo reads from the book but gives shortcuts and alternate ways of doing the problems while explaining them in their entirety. The final was just problems out of the tests, and the tests were just problems out of the practice tests, and the practice tests were just problems out of the homework. SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK! A funny, good teacher.

Dr. Lo was awesome. If you don't understand something just go to him and he will help you. He makes has a way of taking the dullness out of math which is great!

He is very nice, but I do not like his teaching style. At times very hard to understand and is constantly in the way of the board. I feel like he goes very fast and hates teaching this class because it's not an advanced math. Like I said...he's very nice but I would not recommend him.

Chi-Chang Lo is very helpful and light hearted. He will always work out problems for you. You have to work for an A; always do your homework and attend class. He grades very fairly. I recommend seeking help in the Learning Support Commons math tutoring center if you are still struggling; it is a wonderful supplemental.

He is a really easy teacher, at times hes hard to understand but he always goes over hw when you have questions. Theres a lot of hw but its handed in with the tests as EC. make sure you do the study guide because tests are what makes your grade.

He was a good teacher, this was my first College class and he taught very well and clear and made the harder stuff, easy.

For me the subject matter was a little difficult, but he really did help me to understand the material. If you work hard and show that you are really trying, he is more willing to work with you. He is always willing to help you understand and work out problems that you have trouble with.

Dr. Lo is AMAZING. If you are looking for a good professor, take this class. He will make sure you learn the material and that you are ready for the test. He is the best math teacher at SPC!

I took this class my first semester of college so I wasn't sure what to expect, but from my perspective Chi-Chang is a great teacher. Of course you do have to show up to class to understand, but he isn't strict on attendance. Also, he gives TONS of extra credit making it nearly impossible to fail tests. I would definitely take him again.

He is a great teacher. Many people give him bad reviews, but as long as you show up to his class and participate it comes much easier to learn. I would definitely take him again!

The best math teacher I've ever taken. Everyone gives him bad rating because his accent but its easy to understand. He is very lenient on his tests. Love him!
