He is funny! He knows more than just accounting, he will teach you how to make money in the business world. Homework are easy, the answers are all online. 3 tests and final. He drops the lowest test. 1st test is easy, but the other 2 are hard. Study!

His class was fun. Great teacher and also remember to read the book and do the homework. Other than that...powerpoint presentations on lecture days and goes over homework on homework due days. Funny guy. He'll sing for you if u ask him. :-)

class is okay-- mostly boring. you NEED to read the book to understand and doing the homework SO helps. . he grades on a curve which is great. too bad there's a really smart chick in my class.

Do hmwk and read the book, you'll do well. Midterms are graded on a curve. Final is comprehensive and very hard. He's handicaped and sat on a wheel-chair, a note for those procrastinators who like to sit on the highest level.

He's not a hard teacher as long as you read the book and do the hw. The quizzes were fun because you work with a group and the tests/final were MC. He knows what he's talking about and the lecture can be boring at times. I do recommend this teacher.

bus 20/21 is a hard class, but he makes it easier by going through it thoroughly. his midterms tends to be hard, but if you go to class, do the reading, and HW, then you'll be fine. and hes not boring

Good sense of humor,speaks fast,follows a set routine,needs to go through more calculations.Use of wheelchair prevents demonstration of calculations on whiteboard.Speeds through overheads,be certain to use PPT slides. Talk to him about any concerns.

This guy knows his stuff. The class is kind of difficult, but if you go to class, do homework, and ask a lot of questions then you do well. He's a funny guy and he is there for you if you are having problems with the class.

Compared to the previous Bus20 teacher I had, Chi is the easiest teacher at SJSU! Fun lectures, moderately difficult hw, hard exams, but still a nice class. His method for taking adds at the beginning (throws markers on desk, then picks color) is wild.

This is a must take teacher for bus 20...he knows his stuff.. makes class fun to go to.. has a good sense of humor.. tests are really hard even though they are multiple choice they are really challenging, so you better study!

It's the funnest bus20 class at SJSU, but the exams WILL stress you out. He himself tells you it's not going to be an easy ride, and he's right - though the homework and in-class group quizzes help a bit. Hope the curve is BIG!!!

He makes the lectures pretty interesting, easy hw cause he puts the answer online, very hard tests. Just go to class, do the work, and study and you should be able to get a B. Funny teacher.

He is easy and very friendly. Definitely an excellent accounting teacher. I used to hate accounting, but after taking his class, I loved it.

He's now teaching at SF State. Easily one of the best teachers SJSU ever had. Two difficult midterms, but the entertaining lecture and careful review of homework balanced that out. If you ever see Chi's name on a list of accounting classes, sign up ASAP

This class is pretty tuff, but Chi makes it a good time w/ his sense of humor. The material and the exams are as hard as they come, even tho they're multiple choice, so u gotta try and keep up and study a lot if u wanna do well.

purty good. He makes tests tricky which i dont like. You can know a certain bit of info on test. But he'll try to trick you.

He curves the exams if students don't perform that well so you're all hooked up. Pop quizzes every now and then. On comprehensive final, he allows a sheet (one-side) of notes. Managed a C+ with my lazy no studying-ass.

This is a great teacher and everyone needs to have a one like him at least once. He really knows how to teach as his lectures are extremely informative and sometimes also entertaining. His tests are hard, but the subject is too. He's awesome.

Mr. Chang is great he's very helpful and funny. He is more than willing to help anyone who asks for it. He will sit w/you until you understand his material. He actually makes acct seem fun, and he has clever ways of teaching it w/funny games in class. If you do your work u will pass & learn! :O)

Chi is the kind of professor that enjoys teaching and is always willing to help if you ask. He likes telling stories and random jokes. The class isn't that tough - just pay attention in class and do some reading on your own and you'll be fine. Plus, he offers "extra" credit and he curves a lot, so it helps. I recommend him.

I was scared to take this class but he was very helpful. He'll do whatever he can for you to pass the class. He also curves and all his tests are same format, multiple choice. I got a B in this class. He is also very funny and keeps the class interesting. I recommend him.

Great teacher! The class is not much fun, but he makes it bearable. He's very funny and really wants people to pass accounting. Chi has real-life experience and is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this professor!

The class was ok. Doze off a couple of times. 3 midterms (30 questions)and 1 hard ass final (60 questions, 150% of your grade). Good thing is that he super curves. My final percentage was 69.83 and he gave me "B-" I'm happy...

As long as you stay on top of the books, and slides, hw, etc. you'll be fine. I recommend the study guide. It summarizes the chapters. Sometimes it's hard to understand what he says, but it's not that bad.

You will never get bore in Chi's class. He always has tons of jokes to tell. However, his tests are kinda hard; most people didn't do well on his exams. But he will drop the lowest one and curved it. According to what he told us at the end of this semester, his classes will be more challanging, and I think he will have different grading policy.

HE'S THE CHINESE DAVE CHAPPEL! Chi is very encouraging teacher. If you take his class, which is highly recommended, youll know why.it will inspire you to learn accounting step by step and stay awake with all his funny jokes. If you go to class everyday, read the chapter before coming to class & listen to the hints for the tests youll do OK!

Prof. Chang is a good teacher, even though I repeated his course and I had learned a lot from him. Those of you who are finance major; he is a must teacher to take because you will be ready for Bus 170 class! He is funny at times and he may be picking on you in class. If you don't read the book and do the homework forget about the tests. 3 midterms and drops lowest score. Offers extra credit during class for pop quizzes and participation but it doesn't matter if you don't read the text. All classes are by powerpoint that you can download from his website. HW solutions on website also. Comprehensive final!!!!

Not an easy class, unless you are a Accounting major. Professor Chang is really loud, he speaks really loud in class just b/c he wants to get your attention. I didnt do so good in his class but he curved the grades tho. 3 Midterms drops 1 and free points sometimes plus turn in hw at least try doing them.

I think he's a really good professor if you really want to learn something. He's very intelligent and tries to make the class fun. 3 midterms and a 1 final. He drops the lowest score. Don't try to breeze through class without studying cause it won't happen. Read chapters before class to understand better. Do ALL hmwk assignments to get extra points

It doesn't get much easier than this. If you have to take and accounting class, take him. If you try a little bit, you'll get a B at the worst. If you really try, you'll get an A. People who failed this class never even tried anything. The teacher's funny and keeps you awake. EC points for attendance. Also, show him that you're interested.

Chi's class made me become even more interested in accounting than I previously was. His class was challenging but I learned so incredibly much from it. There are times when the semester can get rough, tedious, and even a bit dreadful, but Chi helps you work through it in class. Just make sure to read or look at the lectures.

Awesome professor. Makes many jokes during class. Very helpful when you do ask him questions. Very Clear and concise. Just be aware that the material itself is very simple, but there's a lot of it. Master Chi is a * thumbs up*. interesting and helpful when he teaches. An inside jokester, makes accouting as interesting as it can possibly be. If you dont know 1+1 " go head and jumb out da ween-dow" ( if you took chi's class youll understand)

He sure knows what he is talking about in class and he makes sure the students knows what he is talking about too! His exams are not too bad. You just have to go over his notes and the book. The book is really good too. He actually made accounting seem fun!

This class is not easy, but professor Chi does his best to help you get through the material. He wants you to past the class. You still have to read the chapters and do the hw to understand the material. Professor. You will definitely need the book in this class or you can just study the PowerPoint slides which are the same material on the book.

He's pretty easy. Grades on a curve,so easy to pass class. 3 midterms and a final, drops your lowest midterm grade. He's funny and shows a video of him doing karaoke at the end of sem. Take him if you can.

Chi is a fun teacher. His humor makes class much more easier to bear. This class is pretty challenging. You really have to read the book, study his notes and handouts, & go to class! He lets you drop your lowest midterm (which helps alot). I thought I was failing but he gave so many points that I managed to get a B! TAKE HIM.

Chi is a very funny professor. He is sometimes hard to understand with his accent but makes class interesting. I loved when he called people out for missing easy questions it was so funny. Fair grading and willing to help outside of class.

He actually replied to emails within 24 hours, normally in a few hours! That's very impressive!! Some professors don't even bother to reply your emails. So this is one great instructor!

This teacher was hard. I pulled all-nighters, studied 2-3 weeks in advance, and had tutoring and the test was still hard. The exam questions were pretty tricky, and a lot of people in the class were doing bad. Perhaps it was just a hard subject. The teacher is hilarious and cool. He tries really hard to make sure we understand the material.

A little hard to understand. Subject matter is really hard. You don't NEED your book...just go over slides. Failed ALL my midterms...got a 52% on my final...came to class everyday...he makes you sign in everyday...as long as he sees that your trying...he'll pass you. Sometimes he collects homework just to see if you did it. Really nice teacher.

Chi is a great teacher. I was dreading taking accounting (not knowing what to expect) and came out of it with a a real interest. His BUS 20 class is VERY difficult, however. If you take him, be prepared to do the work. I got an A, but it took a lot of time. Chi was right there to help and was excellent at explaining concepts. He's funny too.

Great professor. Has a real interest in the subject and cares about his students. Knows how to make class entertaining and fun-great personality and always in a good mood! Class is a must. He tells you what will be on the midterms...final is based off midterms. Subject is hard and I studied a ton...but he curves the final grade. I would recommend!

Overall, EZ class. I am one of those students who can never seem to go to every single class but when I did, Chi never made it personal and treated me like everyone else. I think many teachers can learn a thing or two from his teaching style. He made an accounting class enjoyable. A feat in itself. I would take him again if given a chance. Respect.

Master Chi is the best ever. His class was easy and based on a huge curve. He is very funny and keeps the energy up in class. I really enjoyed this class and totally recommend Master Chi! I had to retake this class after failing it with a DIFFERENT profe, but came out with an A with Chi. TAKE THIS CLASS NOW -- even if you don't need it :P

Excellent teacher. Although I am still not fully understanding accounting, Master Chi did his best to make it comprehensible. Master Chi is hilarious and I recommend everybody to take him.

I hate math with a passion. Master Chi made it awesome though! I skip a lot of class but I still was able to keep up and his tests are easy since they are multiple choice. The class is also on a curve so that helps. He is SO nice and fun to have as a teacher. I would recommend this class over all other accounting classes available.

Prof Chang has an effective and engaging teaching style - his lectures really help you understand accounting concepts. Be prepared to study after every class if you are doing winter session. Also, do the hw assignments and go to all lectures! If you don't do well on exams, he has a big curve. I definitely recommend him for BUS20.

Teacher is great. Knowledgeable, funny, smart, and a great resource for recommendations if you want it. His class is very fast paced, too fast for me. Had a huge curve, as 60% of his students were failing.

Prof Chi gave out very straightforward study guides for the midterms and final. I recommend copying his powerpoint slides onto a word doc and printing them out as notes during lecture. Then adding his extra comments on the margins. Saved me from reading the book. Overall easy class if you do the reading.

Master Chi is AMAZING! He is the best teacher you can get for bus 20. He created a book/manual that is extremely helpful you can not pass this class without it. The way he break information down is fantastic anyone could get it. This subject is super hard. But with a professor that cares so much about his student he makes the subject passable

Master Chi is awesome! Attendance is mandatory to help you understand the material. He gives you a study guide for every exam. Cheat sheet for the final. There's homework every week but you can turn it in late. His exams are hard so study alot for them especially from the practice midterms.

MASTER CHI IS AWESOME TAKE HIM! I took Master Chi in the Winter session and he is a great teacher. The subject of accounting is hard, but Master Chi makes the subject that much easier, which is very hard to do. SO GREAT TEACHER TAKE HIM IDGAF what the negatives are.

From all classes taken, hands down Master Chi was the all time enthusiastic, animated, and entertaining professor. Accounting is a complex subject, but with Chi the lessons are broken down into parts and related to our lives. I was present in every class because it is the most exciting class I had ever experienced.

Difficult class, but Master Chi helps you survive it. One hw assignment each week, but he gives you the solutions so you can work through it. Two midterms and a final, with thorough study guides. He let us have a reference sheet on the final which saved my life. Do the practice midterms, they will really help you on the tests!

Accounting is not my forte, but Master Chi tried his best to clarify things for me. 3 midterms,and the final is not cumulative.He provides a study guide for all the exams. He grades on a curve, so that's a plus. Attendance is mandatory because he moves pretty quickly, and you don't want to fall behind. He was also an entertaining professor.

Master Chi is hands down the most caring, unique, charismatic prof I've had! Yes the material is hard but I enjoyed the class very much. He's always enthusiastic about answering questions and he tells great stories. He provides us not only with coursework help, but advice on life too. This professor really cares about how you are doing in the class! He knew there were no accounting majors in the class so made the exams easier and let us use notes on one exam and cancelled the final so we only had 3 exams. There's weekly HWs which are easy. He's the best at SJSU hands down! && He's hella funny!

This professor was very insightful because not only does he teach you the class but how he has applied it successfully in the real world. He really cares about his students and he also wants them to work very hard. He definitely doesn't give up on anyone. He is also really inspirational, which is pretty rare for an SJSU professor.

If your looking for a good accounting professor definitely take this one. Chi makes you work for your grade and everything in his class is very fair for grading. Honestly if you study for his exams you should pass easily also he grades on a huge curve.

Amazing professor! You can tell Master Chi comes to SJSU simply because he wants to teach and help others out. Replies to emails fast, available in office hours, and gives good, detailed lectures. Loved his stories and how he had real life examples to match the material being taught.

This guys is such a heart. Not normal for a guy to talk like this but I must say I had a great time in his class. He made accounting so easy. There are times where you will laugh. I am not an accounting major but his class really made my semester. I really wish he taught accounting 21 too. He even offered help in my language. Take him and be happy.
