Dr. Wu is awesome. Best math professor at stockton. If you have to take any math classes, see if he's teaching it.

I love this guy. He is definately the best professor I ever had. Funny, challenging and caring. He'll do whatever he can to help you out. He has proven this time and time again.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He is funny and reallt knows his stuff. He feels it is very important for students to know the material which is a rare thing. Show up though, he knows when you are absent without even writing it down.

Doctor Wu is awesome. His tests are very hard, but he ends up curving at the end of the semester. As long as you show that you are trying, (trying very hard), you're set. He'll take the time as long as you are willing to put the time in.

great guy, funny as hell. the most helpful teacher ive had. yea exams may be hard, but you have to get used to them, i got 43 on first and above 80 on the others. recommend highly, only wish he was doin calc 2 next semester.

Very helpful. Have to get used to the accents, he pronounces smooth curve as smooch curve. Very funny guy. Out of nowhere he will start talking about taiwan, which provides some entertainment in such an hard class

Without a doubt, Dr. Wu's the best math professor at Stockton. You can tell he honestly cares about his students. Even though his tests are hard, you learn a lot in his classes and if he knows you're trying he'll give you a fair grade.

He is a great professor. I took his math classes back in 1997-99. Outstanding in mathematical knowledge and very helpful. He was willing to stay on off days to assist students with studying. If I were to go back he would be my only math choice.

Best professor in Stockton.I had him for Calc.1 in my fresh. year and I still had an A.Try your best!he will pass you even though you din't do do well in hiss class.Take him for knowledge and passing class.

Dr. Wu is one of the best professors here. He is a very good teacher, cares a lot about his students, and best of all, he is absolutely HILARIOUS. he makes hard material fun to learn, because of his comical genius. he's a great guy, take him if you have a chance.

Dr. Wu isn't the easiest teacher, but he's very fair. Put forth an effort and you'll receive a good grade. He really knows his "stuff". The guy is like a certified genius. NOTE...he most likely will not allow you to use a calculator in his class.

Wu is crazy, but an excellent professor. He is great for extra help and making sure you understand. He is also wonderful to use as a reference for a job.

Dr Wu is really one of the best teachers at Stockton. Don't even dare think about taking anyone else for Calc. Even after I was done with his class he would stop in the halls to talk to me. Hell half the teachers didn't rember peoples names.

I had a man crush on Wu. he is hillarious and freindly. "Is he crazy? Is he High?" He does have a gun and will shoot you if you fail, but iy attned regulary, and go to hie 24/7 stydy sessions at his office, you will pass. He will stay all night and come in on days off to help you. If you fail all the quizzes, but attend and go to the study sessions, you will pass. He is one of the most genuine, freindly people I have ever met.

Wu is my hero!!! He's an excellent teacher and always makes sure you are understanding the material!!

Excellent professor. He will pass you if you are putting forth an honest effort to learn the material. He's an excellent preceptor too if anyone needs to switch.

If you give it a good effort and go to his office hours you should pass. His tone of voice is kind of rude but he is not that bad of a teacher.

I seriously thought I had a D in that class, but ended up with a B-. The material is hard to understand and you most likely will need some outside help, but if he knows you tried you'll do fine. Fairly easy grader, and makes the class fun with his stories and jokes. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Wu is the best!!!! I had him for 6 classes and would have taken every math class with him if it was possible. He will work with you until you understand the material and he genuinely cares about his students. There should be more professors and teachers like him!

i have dr. wu for calc 3 and i honestly believe he is the best professor i have ever met. he is helpful and by far the most caring faculty member. he staid untill 9.30 pm before an exam to help us. his quizez and exams are hard, but he explains everything so well anybody can get it! dr. wu is the best!

He is the nicest professor ever! he understands different situations, and is very easy going. He helps you in class, and never says no when you show up in his office, and explains things until you understand them. Im not a huge fan of math, but i loved his class. Take him for calc!!

he's a very nice and understanding teacher. Very funny throughout the semester; not very easy grader though. Remember: wehen he says "it's EASY" he's basically trying to say that "BE AWARE..." but overall, I'll rate him A+ and highly recommended for future math students [do take foundations with him...'cus proofs are fun!!

Wu is awesome. Take as many of your Math courses as possible with him. Not easy though, but well worth it.

very good teacher but would recommend people that arent amazing at math to take someone else. will work with you as much as you need to but his easy is very hard, so his hard is nearly impossible. def have to work hard, but as long as you try he wont fail you!!! very funny and nice guy

There's nothing to say but take Dr. Wu's classes... You _will_ have to work hard, but you will learn a lot. He's compassionate about his teachings & cares about his students. I (now that I'm an alumni) took many of his courses, they were some of my favorite.

Great class. Hard to understand accent and handwriting. Very interesting and FUNNY teacher. He'll help you with anything. Quiz every week (20%), 3 exams (45%) final (30%), homework (5%) (he doesnt check if you do it). 55% is passing for him. Loads of extra credit. seems hard- everything is curved though. Quizes are usually 2 Q's

very good professor. genious at math. his class is very very hard. you learn a lot tho. very helpful and funny. ended up gettin an A but only cause i visited the tutor center once a week for every quiz and a week straight for the tests and final. try hard and dont miss a class and you can pull off an A

Doc Wu will curse at you if you're lazy. He thinks he's still in the Taiwan army. I have never had a better math teacher. I want to teach someday, and I want to inspire and motivate my students the same as he does. He says he'll fail you, but with a smile.

Dr. Wu will probably be one of the greatest professors youll ever have. He his highly dedicated to helping you learn, but he does expect alot. Homework is assigned every day and you have quizzes every week. He is funny, helpful, and tells great stories. One more word of advice: YOU MUST STUDY FOR THE TESTS AND QUIZZES! I can't stress that enough!

I really enjoyed this class. I feel that there arent many professors out there like him anymore. He truly cares about his students and wants to see them do well. Math is NOT my forte but I did well in this class and I would recommend Dr Wu to anyone taking a math class

One of the hardest professors you will ever have but defintely the best by far. He makes sure that you learn something from all his classes. His class is very fun and defintely not boring. Extremely helpful and wants his students to learn and do well. There are not many like him anymore so if you have the chance to take him defintely take him!

Best professor at Stockon by far! His class is definitely difficult, but he gives you so many opportunities to improve yoru grade. Plus, if you ace the final you ace the course. Go to every class because you'll get extra points on your final and go to his office because he gives you extra tips before tests. Take Wu! It's a ridiculously fun class!

The best math professor I've ever had. He's very thorough and not easy at all; but with jokes and stories to break up the intensity. His grading is very fair and he is always available to help whenever it is needed.

i love dr wu! he is so helpful and wants you to succeed. he makes sure you understand everything. his quizzes/exams are difficult, but if you go to him before hand he'll give you hints. he's understanding, as long as you go to his office hrs. he's the man! he's not easy by ANY means, but means VERY well. his stories will crack you up!

Definitely go to class. And even though homework doesn't "count" do it anyway. He wants you to do well so if you go to him he'll do anything he can to help. GO TO HIS OFFICE. Before any test he will sit down with you and give you problems to do and help you out tremendously. He's the reason I passed the class.

dr wu is def 1 of the best profs at stockton. quizzes&exams are difficult but he gives u every opportunity to bring ur grade up. weekly quizzes. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS it ALWAYS helps u. do NOT drop his class he will always give u chance to pass. show ur putting effort in and he'll help u tremendously.

He is very helpful and he likes to crack jokes. Tests and homework can be tricky but go to office hours and try and you will pass his class.

Dr. Wu is awesome! definitely take his class. if you ever need help on anything make sure you go talk to him and he will definitely help you out on whatever you need. Make sure you attend every class because you get bonus points for it. The only people who don't like his class or give him bad ratings are the ones who are lazy and don't care.

Dr. Wu was an amazing professor. You learn so much by going to his classes and he always makes class interesting by telling jokes and stories. He teaches tough material that require you to do a lot of work, so prepare to study and do HW. Also make sure you have perfect attendance, it really helps your final grade.

Tests were very difficult and there was a lot of homework. However, if you go to his office hours and study with him to the point that he remembers your name, you will get by. Work hard, go to class, do the homework, STUDY, and you should get by with a passing grade. If you want an A, this may have to be your only hard class for the semester.

Easy if you're good at math. Believe in yourself and don't panic when you're taking the tests. The questions can seem impossible at first but if you know the material you should be fine.

Awesome guy. Willing to help. Took as a summer class so alot to take in with only a little time. Take him!

DR. Wu is a very great professor to have. As I said, he is very clear and when he teaches you can tell he is putting years of teaching experience in to what he does. He tries his best to share his knowledge and is generally a very easygoing and funny guy. He grades fairly and you might even find him giving you points.

Dr. Wu is hard to click with at first, but gets WAY easier as the semester continues. He moves fast and expects a lot out of his students, but is a very lenient grader and will help you in any way he can. If you think you're going to fail his class after a week of taking it, don't drop! He will make sure you pass with the grade you need!

Professor Wu is good but his exams and quizzes are extremely hard. If you're not a math major, especially if you struggle with math, or if you already have heavy semester, I wouldn't recommend taking him. Other than that, he's really kind, willing to help, and would try to give you more grades.

Go to his office hours because he will see that you are putting forth the effort. Most exams he allows you to have a cheat sheet. Almost never let the class out early. He doesn't have a thick accent, he likes to make jokes. He really tries to build a relationship with students. Exams are hard but make sure to study! Very understanding.

Dr. Wu is incredibly understanding of personal situations and very willing to slow down lectures to help you pass. Love that man honestly, I came in late and hungover for class and he still gave me a good recommendation for the foundation scholarship because I would answer like 1 question a class, 10/10 guy.

Phenomenal professor. You definitely have to work for your grade but he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is glad to help. Makes jokes during class to keep you focused on the lecture and has open office hours. Tests are difficult but if you do the homework and study the problems and practice tests then you should be fine.

Prof. Wu was by far my favorite professor at Stockton. He is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about his students. He is very clear and descriptive when teaching which makes understanding the material easy. If you go to every lecture and put in the effort, you will get an A.

He gives a quiz every friday and you will have three exams however he allows you to use a flash card as a "cheat sheet". He is so nice and funny but definitely makes you work for your grade. He goes a little fast during his lectures but has a lot of office hours. Great teacher just a little tough!

Passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. Very engaging when he lectures, and goes over a good amount of practice problems during class. Make sure you pay attention, because the tougher subjects at the end of the semester build on what you learn during the "easy" first half of the class. Definitely a fair grader given the content difficulty.

Dr. Wu is a good man. He tries his best to get most of the class to at least pass the course. It is a hard class, and you need to be ready to learn the material, but he is a fair grader on tests and quizzes and will help you outside of class if needed. He would be my preferred teacher if I was taking another math course at Stockton.

Dr. Wu is a great professor. Even with the pandemic limiting student-teacher interactions, he was still able to teach the material well. I will not lie, I have failed pre-calculus twice and withdrew from two other sections. I was a hopeless cause, but Dr. Wu's teaching has enabled me to comfortably pass Calculus. He is tough, but well worth it.

Summer EOF precalc course, btw I took precalc & calc in high school. assigns hw every day, quiz everyday at the evening module, tests about every week. he was kind and tried to ensure every student passed. allowed an index card cheat sheet for quizzes and a page for the final test. he made lectures entertaining and sometimes brings in donuts !!

Outstanding professor! He's hilarious, so class is always fun. Must attend lectures, else you'd be lost. 2 midterms: 1st is hard, 2nd is easy; he drops the lower one. Quizzes every Friday, sometimes with extra credit. Drops lowest 2 quizzes. WebAssign for HW, but it's ez. Final is kinda hard. He will randomly pick on you in class, so be attentive.

Best professor at Stockton. 8:30's 4 times a week and not an ounce of energy was wasted from Wu. Made calc2 come across easier than calc1 and precalc for me. This is a very hard class, the topic is probably some of the hardest you'll come across in your undergrad but he made everything make sense and if he didn't, he'd explain it again.

As far a math teachers go, Wu has to be my favorite one at Stockton. While I'm by no means a mathematician, his patience and consistent yet reasonable workload meant that I could keep my skills sharp enough to get through. He also drops plenty of bad grades. He's pretty funny too. Webassign is the weekly hw, quiz every Friday, 4 total exams.
