Took this class online. Great and easy course. Just follow the course schedule and do the reading. Teacher drops the lowest score of three tests. I did fairly on the tests but did all the work and still got an A.

Took on-line for Winter semester 2007/08. Read chapters, do homework, do discussion and you'll do fine. Some test questions were rather subjective & did not like that. She drops your lowest exam grade of the three. She is fair, helpful, answers e-mails swiftly, and enjoyed the course. The textbook is way over-priced, but that is not her fault.

Great teacher knows the field in which she studies.She's very helpful, give study guide for exams. I taken Fall/2007.

easy class, need to attend to get notes. Gives a study guide to help with test. She is very understanding and is a wonderful person. Final project is with groups and is easy and fun.

She is so awesome! She demands respect, so if you don't compose yourself like an adult, she has no problem putting you in your place. She WANTS you to get an A. She's quick to respond to emails. You must study for the tests. LOTS of group projects, so make sure you get with a good group. VERY STRICT ON ATTENDANCE AND PROMPTNESS. DON'T BE LATE!

I took a couple of online classes (which were challenging)with Professor Ishihara last spring and am currently taking an online class with her. She is an excellent professor. Professor Ishihara provides an opportunity for extra credit and she promptly answers my emails. Her syllabus is clear and there are a reasonable amount of assignments.

Excellent teacher. Just read the book and write some notes. Gives study guides for the tests. Tests are easy. Fun class.

She went off track way too much during class. She"s a great Professor, and very helpful, but was easily side tracked by students.

I took Bus 10, 40, 43(online) at the same time, and I got all A for those classes. First of all, she always teaches based on her past experiences. What I like best about her is her attitude that try to help her students. Fun classes, good grade!

She is an engaging and knowledgeable professor. She used to be in business and understands the field well. The work load isn't bad nor is it tough and there's plenty of extra credit. Her tests are ok- not easy but not hard. She covers the material quickly but you can always ask for help. The final project is a business plan which is very helpful.

She uses powerpoint lectures during nearly every class. The most helpful thing for me was her use of study guides for all of her tests. It made studying a breeze. She also offers extra credit.

I highly recommend her for this class. She teaches from the book and from her past experiences in the Business world. You can easily pass her tests if you read the chapters and go over the study guides. The study guides are very helpful. She is strict on attendance and phone use though.

I have had the pleasure of taking many courses from Ishihara. She is diciplined and so should you be. She is a pro and has worked for many notable corporations. She knows what she is talking about - so listen to her and learn. If you respect her, she will work with you - disrespect is not tolerated. Be on time and be prepared, this is business.

Class was full of information. If you learn anything, it will be from the work shops and in-class excercises. The book is easy but you learn way more from being in class. Recommend her if you really want to be a business professional someday!

She's very knowledgeable and very nice but what irritated me the most is that she talks a lot about her personal experiences and doesn't always finish her lectures, but she does give study guides and that makes it very easy. She have a lot of real world experience and if you're a business major she's good and very helpful

Online course.She is very fair and very helpful.Always gives feedback on your assignments.Do her work on time as well as term paper and you will do just fine.Her class outline is very easy to follow. stay on top and you wont fall behind(no makeups)

Ms. Ishihara was a excellent teacher! Outline of class clear, extra credit offered, drops lowest quiz and hands out study guides. Highly reccomend, put in effort you will get an A!

hybrid BUS -22: Professor is a great teacher. Learnt so much from the workshop. She definitely knows how to teach. Very kind to her students. Gives extra credit and drops lowest exam score. Even though the class was only 5 weeks long, I was able to take in so much information. Highly recommend her!

Clear & concise

I took buss-22 winter term; she taught it well and gave many practical tips. She draws from her own work experience which enhances the material. Instructor is also polite-it's a great class.

I came into RCC as a new small business owner. Ms. Ishihara opened my eyes, mind and future for my company with all the information she had to offer. She brings her real life business experience to the table in every one of her classes. She demands respect, (as she should.) Do all the work, extra credit and you will get an A. No late work!

Took the hybred Advertising class. She deserves the respect she asks for. Excellant , fair, helpful, teaches from experiance, everyting is laid out from the start,so you know what is expected. The exams done in critical thinking manner, so READ the chaptes. 3 exam, but drops lowest grade. Apply yoursfdou will rock he class. I totally recommend her!

Ms. Ishihara, is a very disciplined Professor, who teaches precisely what any student will need to him or her achieve goals in life. She teaches from experience and guides you in everything you want to do with your life. You need to really read and understand the textbook for her courses and complete all assignment in time and you will pass.

She is such a great teacher! I would recommend anyone who is willing to work hard to take her.. she really cares about her students and what she does. Also the fact that she has personal experience (tons) helps too. The class is fun.. take her.

Cool teacher. kinda strict with tardies and absence. All the work is easy my advice for BUS10 students are to make friends early in the class because this prof. has a big group project that you have to present in front of the class at the end of semester. Id recommend

Most of her classes our hybrids. She is an awesome professor that is truly knowledgeable and experienced in her field. Her lectures are fun and you can learn a lot from her business and life experiences. Definitely recommend take her if you're a business major and even if you are not one as well.

Very enjoyable class, can tell professor loves the subject and wants students to succeed. Have to study for tests on your own but have study guides given to you. Don't be lazy with the assignments and show up to class. Overall very fun class, awesome professor, and not hard at all. Would recommend to anyone who's interested in advertising. :)

I enjoyed Professor Ishihara's class although at times I found assignment instructions a bit confusing. When I approached her for help, she was always willing to spend personal time with me and explain what the assignment required. Professor Ishihara genuinely cares about her students and wants them to complete the class having learned something.

Nice teacher. Not an easy "A", but if you do the work you should have no problem passing the class. The tests are a little harder, an online textbook would be a better option to assist in test taking. Hoping to make it into a class of hers Spring 2015. I am determined to do better and get an "A" from her.

She follows her syllabus and she never missed a day or comes to class late.

I absolutely LOVED taking this class! This professor is AWESOME and is always willing to help you. She really cares about the students, is super friendly and wants all of her students to learn. Its not all about the books (even though you have to do quite a bit of reading). She shares life lessons in business to open your mind and get you thinking

Honestly, the BEST professor at RCC ! American students have NO IDEA how remarkable ad agencies she has worked for. She is very friendly, clear, so helpful, give very useful advice (invest good amount of money on two suits) and opening your eyes to the world of marketing. Do yourself a favor and PLEASE take this class. She is simply AMAZING !

Ishihara is one of the best teachers I've ever had at RCC! She's super nice and respects her students, teaches and understands the material well and gives great feedback. I enjoyed my time in the class, take her if you can!

Professor Ishihara was a great choice. I took the class during the summer term and she allowed us to take test online and we had great lectures in class regarding the chapters. The book was not needed in my opinion but i bought it (cheap) in order to learn more about Marketing. TAKE HER!

This professor was AWESOME!!! She put's a little spin on her teaching that includes real life lessons which helps quite a bit. I totally recommend her!

Really enjoy group case studies.

Her Bus 22 Mgmt. Comm. is great class to take over winter or summer break. You can cover the material easily in 6 weeks. Her in class assignments really help you write a better job resume and her job interview workshop really helps prepare you for a job interview. She also has good advise because she was an actual international business women.

One of the best professors I've had in college by FAR. If you study, you can easily pass this class; just put in the work (yes, you need to read the book/study her PowerPoints) She is knowledgeable, and legitimately wants the best for you! She helped me decide my major and didn't even realize it :)

A big assignment due every week that takes about an hour or two to write. you definitely need the book, a couple discussion questions and 4 tests and extra credit is offered. All in all the class is by no means easy but if you do all the work an A is attainable.

She is very experienced and connects her lectures to real life. The tests (one of which is dropped) are just like the study guides. Please plan the group project(a business plan) carefully! It is worth 40% of the grade. Also you need the book for the homework.

This was my 1st time taking this prof.'s online class, and I had the accelerated version over the summer semester. It's not so bad, most everything was based on writing assignments about Shark Tank episodes. Lots of small assignments, with no large papers and the quizzes and tests were all multiple choice & textbook based I'd take this prof. again

Professor Chie is one of the most inspirational Professors at RCC. She's has tons of experience and a great background. There are group in-class assignments and workshops. I learned a lot from both. None of her work is extremely easy, however, you gain more than just a grade from her class. This class is not one to miss.

She can't go a class without mentioning Japan. She's a great lecturer and well spoken.

I took Ishihara for my bus. com. class and it was fun as can be. This class is straightforward and easy enough, just make sure to show up every class period. She only gave us class projects for homework assignments that cannot be made up outside of class. I took her 8 week course and passed every with 100% but I missed 1 day giving me a low A.

Mrs. Chie is a heaven sent Professor. Her professional way of teaching made a big impact on me. She make sure all her students have understanding of the work. She's very knowledgeable about Business. Because she's so open minded it's easy to talk to her. Although I only had her for six week I got attached to learn more from her. I give her a A+++++

One of the best business professors out there. This is my 2nd class with her. She incorporates real world experience and knowledge. Way more useful then just regurgitating text and examples from a book.

She is a very good professor and gives out effective and useful lectures and assignments. The work load was distributed very well and I felt stress free throughout the semester.

Cares about her students,and she makes it clear what she is looking for in her grading (i.e. specifics). Fun and informational teacher.

Professor Ishihara is very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to business. Sometimes she gets off topic by telling personal stories but it kept the class interesting. Prompts for assignments are clear. Study guides are given far in advance that truly help on tests (take advantage). She assigns few assignments and one huge final project.

She has a very specific rubric so I would stick to it. But overall if you do the work you can pass.

Ishihara Is an amazing teacher she can be very strict but she is training you for the real world. She is willing to work with you to help you excel In the course if you are willing to communicate otherwise youre in a way youre own. She is very knowledgeable about the industry and gives real world examples throughout the course.

Ishihara knows the industry. I took this class in the past before with a different teacher and didnt pass. But I decided to give it a second ago and knew the teacher I wanted to take. She gave lots of opportunities for extra credit and if you communicate with her you will excel. I recommend taking her 100% . All you have to do is do the work.

Amazing teacher; I really enjoyed her class & learned many hands on business skills, how what we were learning applied to real life situations. Make sure you follow the study guide while in lecture bc that helps SOMUCH on the tests. With the study guide make flashcards, you will secure that A. There is one group project but not bad, intersting!

I enjoyed my class with Mrs. Ishihara so much that I took 3 classes with her last semester! I love her teaching style and I felt like a got a true sense of what it is to work in marketing. She has so much experience in the industry and she shares her knowledge so passionately. You can tell that she loves what she does and it is truly inspiring.

There's a ton of homework, but the grading criteria is very clear and she gives a lot of examples. I didn't find the class to be too difficult, just time consuming. She's nice, but her lectures can be a little boring. All around, not a bad teacher. Don't be scared to choose her and hope for an A.

Prof. Ishihara is a wonderful teacher! I took her for MKT-20 while taking BUS-10 with Prof. Wilcoxson, they go hand and hand. Loved the class, loved the teacher. You have to work for your grade though, and it is a challenge but she makes the homework fun and you learn a lot. She responds to emails through outlook very fast & is always available.

Knowledgable, interesting and pleasant. Uses real world examples and illustrations. Picks class materials that wont send students to the poor house.

Gives great project assignments that teach the subject almost better than the book. She designs her class better than most so no effort is wasted and it all works together to teach you the topic

Tough in terms of strict expectations for tardiness and absences (so be ware), but her job is to prepare people for the business field (which she does). Four in-class group assignments, 1 mock interview in front of class, 1 resume submission, 1 60 second self-sell in front of class, weekly online quiz through cengage. 8 weeks was just enough.

Straight foward teaching loved the class

There is an online/interactive textbook required for this class(Cengage). Overall the course is pretty straightforward. You're guaranteed a passing grade if you do all your work(discussions, homework, tests). Course can get hectic if you're taking a lot of classes, or are working a job.

Professor Chie's class is pretty straightforward. Stay on top of the online textbook and assignments, and you'll likely secure a solid grade. The lectures can get a bit dry, but using tools like Unstuck study alongside the study guide really helps prep for the tests.

She's actually a really funny teacher also she talks a lot like will put her own life stories into her lectures (which is fun cause she has a lot of stories). Also she's very lenient, I had made a stupid mistake and I talked to her and she really came down to my level and understood.
