If you have trouble in math this is the teacher to take. He makes sure that you a prepared for each exam. This is a GREAT teacher! If he is available for your math take him.

Easy teacher. As long as you come to class everyday and take notes and do the homework, you'll pass the class. Quizzes and tests, piece of cake. Bonuses & you can do corrections. Also, he's willing to help you, even if you don't have him as a teacher.

He was sooooo easy! He kinda got annoying at times b/c of how he talked and stuff but he's really easy. I didn't even try and I passed w/ an A. He makes you do quizes every day for the "homework grade" but they're easy. I recommend him.

He was a great teacher. If you weren't happy about your test grade (even if it was passing), he'd let you re-do the questions you got wrong and give you half of your points back. There's no way you can fail that test unless you make a 30 or something on the final and didn't even try. He gives you the final exam questions. He's very easy.

Great Teacher made A's in both of his classes, doesnt go easy on you, but can teach you very easily. I was a highschool idiot when it came to algebra and he made me an A student.

BEST PREFESSOR EVER!! I would take a Bullet for this man!! You Can debate your grades, and if in reason, he will let you prove that you deserve the grade you ask for! Chappa should be the mold to EVERY math teacher! HE CAN TEACH YOU ANYTHING! no matter what kind of math student you are. I failed math in highschool, and Chappa made me an A student!

I just want to say that I am in love with this teacher... I'm thinking about taking Algebra all over again (even though I made a B) just to stare at him. Gosh. I failed Math in High School, but he really got me interested in the class. It was amazing!!

mr chappa is a very good math teacher. im terrible at math and even tho i didnt pass his class, i will be taking him again next semester. he is very helpful and grades well. his test are somewhat hard but he is willing to help you in any way that he can. i highly recommend him to everyone.

He is a wonderful teacher! He explains the basic function of the problem and gradually works to more difficult problems. I haven't had any other math teacher work long problems in their head, they have always pulled a problem out of the book. On top of it all he is funny! Mr. Chappa's class is fun!

Mr. Chappa was a fantastic teacher! I failed pre-algebra 3 times before taking his class. He makes it very clear, fun and he's very helpful. He knows common mistakes made and he shows you how to not make them. Very prepared-the key is to do your homework and practice!

He is a very good teacher. He's pretty funny and knows his stuff. If you need help he will help you and send you extra practice test if you want them.

Chappa is pretty much amazing, really connects with the students and makes sure that you understand what hes teaching before he tests you on it. if you fail a class its your own fault because hes told you what you need to know to pass the tests and the class!

This is long overdue. Chappa is an excellent professor that wont move on until everyone in the class understands what he is talking about. He'll reinforce things in a way that will be hard for you to forget, which is great. He did a great job and prepared me for Algebra...which I did good in thanks to him. Great guy making a hard subject easier.

Awesome teacher! You need to go to class to understand the material, but he is very concerned with you learning the material and actually knowing what you're doing. He uses math lab so all homework is online.

Mr Chappa is the most involved professor I have had to date. I'm terrified of math, but he made it fun. He gladly makes himself available for any problems, which I think is extremely rare. I highly recommend him!

Professor Chappa make math fun. He writes in different colors so that you fully understand all the details to solve the equation. He very animated and fun, makes lots of jokes and keeps his class upbeat. Professor Chappa sees the potential in his students, encourages and challenges them. Awesome Professor.

Chappa is the bomb diggidy. He uses awesome visuals to show you how to get it. If you take alot of notes he will write extra "need to know stuff" on the board and works everything out. Loves Starwars and smartpeople stuff. :] Oh yea and did I say that he LOVES math.

This guy has a fun personality, seems really interested in what he does.. Sign up for the mini-mester and get it knocked out quick! I haven't had any math classes since high school which was 8 years ago.. So it was all new to me, but currently have an A in the class ... Just plan on spending quite a few hours on studying, and you will do fine!

I am horrible at math, and have not taken a math class since my junior year in high school. He breaks everything down until you understand it. He will also help you the day before the test. No book necessary.

He is an extremely good teacher! He makes the class surprisingly fun. He has his own techniques for solving math problems that simplifies everything! For the fist time, math actually made sense. Take him if you get the chance.

If you need to take College Algebra u must take Mr. Chappa. He makes everything easy to understand, and wants his students to succeed. I made an A in his class and I dont even care for MATH. Mr. Chappa is a great teacher. He's honest, down-to-earth, kind, patient, and goes out of his way to help. I've always had difficulty with math. Best teacher I've had. He was able to communicate in a way that was best for me & I saw him adjust to other students too. They got it. The classes were fun too. Don't hesitate to take him.

He really cares about his students and wants everyone to 'get it'. He'll go above and beyond for you if he sees that you are trying. This was my third attempt at algebra, and I made a high B in his class, in part due to his willingness to explain things in a way that my brain understood. Would highly recommend him!

He was so clear with the info. He is always telling funny stories and knows how to give the information in a way that everyone can understand. His class is never boring and he will help you as long as you help yourself. But he don't cancel class ever, he says he's there for us.

This is by FAR the best professor I had. I took Chris's class over the summer and WOW! It was a full month of math but he made sure EVERYONE understood the concepts. The homework is just more practice from class, so its not bad at all. Test are problems covered in class, again not bad. I dare say this, but he made math fun? yeah, fun! Must Take

Great professor! Be prepared to write a lot, but he gives you plenty of time to get things down. Will help you in any way and if your struggling offers bonus opportunities. Also opens up all of the homework on math lab so you can bring your grade up. Absolutely loved him and would take him again.

Mr. Chappa is a very good professor. I took him for stats, which is one of my least favorite. To my surprise Mr. Chappa made it very easy to understand. I did have to study at home but who doesn't study for exams? I would take Mr. Chappa again and if you don't pass this class, it's because you didn't try.

Chappa is a fantastic professor. I took him for college algebra and he explains everything so thoroughly but very simplified. He is always open to answer anyone's questions, even if it is way beyond what he is teaching at that very moment. He gives great reviews for exams and he does give quite a bit of homework but with plenty of time to do it.

I highly recommend taking Professor Chappa, I'm terrible at math and had him during the fall of 2018 and made an 83. He's very helpful and provides tutoring in his office for students that really need the extra help. He gives extra credit and also drops 5 of your lowest homework grades and one test.

I took Chappa for Linear Algebra. He is probably one of the best professors I ever had. He is very approachable if you have any questions about anything. He is the reason I love mathematics.

If you are HORRIBLE at math like me, TAKE HIS CLASS PLS. I dropped math for about 3 times and to pass with an A is a MIRACLE. He is very patient and actually cares about you. You can tell he is passionate about teaching and he doesnt reuse his materials, so he def. puts effort into teaching. Great math professor.

I failed math 3 times and was the only credit left in order for me to get my degree. Chappa was always accessible outside the classroom, he worked with me for about an hour over the phone the night before a test that I thought I was going to bomb (which I ended up making a 99 on). He genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed!

Professor Chappa is amazinggg, not only is he a great teacher, but you can really tell that he cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He makes math, a subject that most of us really struggle with, so simple. I cannot say enough good things about him.

I took his college algebra class online, and even though I was worried because I wasn't good at algebra in high school, he helped me earn my A. I would take his class again if I could, or if I needed another math credit. Definitely take this professor for math if you can.

Professor Chappa was literally the only reason why I liked math. He made lectures fun, and was a really funny guy. It's obvious he loves what he does, and all he wants is for you to try your best and succeed. When we struggled in class, he made sure that we got the help that we needed.

I took college algebra as a 5 week online class so it did seem like a lot of homework in a short time but you could retake the assignments to get a 100. He has a YouTube playlist of lectures that were very helpful as well. Tests were open notes, and the professor was always clear with communication and easy to reach. He really wants you to succeed.

His College Algebra class was great! He made math very simple to understand and is willing to help you if you're having trouble. He allows the use of notes on the tests and he gives partial credit for incorrect answers. Please take one of his math classes if you can, he makes it very easy and enjoyable. I would definitely take him again if I could.

I have chosen Professor Chappa for every math credit required for my degree plan. He's very understanding and works with you to ensure that you pass the class. He wants his students to understand and pass the course, unlike some that make it unreasonably hard. If you're looking for an amazing math professor, he's your guy. No way he'll disappoint.

Mr. Chappa is probably the only reason I passed this course. I waited till the end of my degree plan to take this class (online) because Math and I don't get along. But Professor Chappa provided excellent videos of each lesson, he was easily accessible online every day, and thankfully gives credit for showing work, even if you miss a question.

Prof Chappa is the best and most caring teacher Ive ever had, he will make sure you dont fall behind and if you do he will make sure you dont again. Stay on top of your work and you will do awesome.

Professor Chappa is an excellent instructor! His detailed video lectures cover every step for homework and tests. You can use all notes during tests and get quick responses to questions. Homework can be redone for a better grade, and online problems show step-by-step solutions. There's no reason you can't earn an 'A'!

Clearly passionate about math and helping students succeed. He encouraged students to reach out even for minor struggles, and readily offered to arrange meetings whenever students wanted to discuss something in-depth. Any student who wants to succeed will easily pass his classes, shame to hear he'll be retiring after the spring.
