Awesome Teacher, he knows his stuff, and makes sure you know it to. So, you might have to work hard but you get a lot out of it.

he has a ton of great hilarious stories. he really knows his stuff and is willing to work with you. your final doesn't count against you. if you get a higher grade on it than any of your tests, the exam replaces all of the lower grades!!!

His on line classes are harder then in person but you need to ask if you get behind. I would not take him again to hard.

He is a great teacher who makes learning fun. His was the best class I have ever taken. He is very down to earth and doesn't put on airs.

I took his Abnormal Psych online course. It was clear-cut. You knew exactly what was expected. He even had all dates on a calendar! His tests were difficult, some essay questions, but I still got an A. I would take him again without a doubt.

Chris is a great teacher. He gives many good examples, and really knows what hes talking about. Tests are based upon notes and book. he also gives everyone a chance to do easy extra credit to bring your grade up. I would take him again.

Great prof! Chris makes sure you understand the material. The only homework are papers. Tests are easy if you actually study. Knows his material, and LOVES psychology! Very Funny, and very personable.

The best teacher for psychology is Curtis. He makes the class really easy, and the class was really enoyable. He knows alot about psychology. If you're not taking Curtis, you're not taking a good instructor.

DO NOT TAKE HIS INTERNET CLASS!!! His tests are extremely hard, they are like final exams. You have to go to the testing center to take your tests, and they are HARD! There are always like 4 or 5 essays that are hard. I wouldn't take him on the internet.

His online class is well organized. He really likes teaching psychology!

The class is a lot of work for the summer, but the requirements are easy to find. Keep up with the work. Email him and he'll answer your questions - fast! Nice guy.

The paper's were simple writing assignments and the tests were definately not hard as long as you read the text book, payed attention in class and studied. Chris made the class interesting with his enthusiasm for neuroscience!

I can not say enough good things about this professor. His lectures are both informative and entertaining. There is a lot of writing assignments - so be prepared for that, but it helps bolster your grade. He offers extra credit regularly. This is not an easy class, but you can learn SO much from Chris. Highly recommened.

I disagree with the person who said Chris isn't helpful. I stopped by his office hours and he was very helpful. I take my papers there all the time.

Chris is an overall great teacher, he gives great examples, and has a good way of explaining difficult concepts. I would recommend him to anyone taking a psych class.

Wonderful teacher. I cannot recommend him enough for his online classes. Clear, answers every question asked in a timely manner. You walk away from the class feeling like you have learned so much.

If you are really pressed for time DO NOT take this class online!! It is so hard to keep up with. Every week you have a quiz (which you have to get at least 9/10 on or you get a 0/10), a 2-3 page paper, and 3 discussion board posts due. It is very hard to keep up and read everything. Tests are all essay. NO FINAL! Great teacher take in classroom

Really good teacher, keeps the class listening with his good analogies and descriptions. You get a few absenses, but it's good to be in class so you don't miss anything. Every other week 30 question test online and 2 question essay test in class, can not mess around with these... you don't do a paper or screw off on a test and your grade will show.

Good Instructor. but man you really gotta read the crap he assigns. Hes very nice and helpful. Very up to date on grades. not hard to pass. i think i missed like 4 classes and i was still okay.

Chris is still the best online professor there is in my opinion. This was the second online class I have had with him (took him for General and Abnormal psych.) I don't know why people are complaining about the amount of work in the class... it is a 200 level isn't it? Besides, they were really easy for the most part.

I have Chris for my general psychology class online this semester and plan to take him again for abnormal psychology next semester. He puts a lot of effort into what he does and is very enthusiastic. Amazing professor.

Very good teacher! Keeps class fun and interesting. Homework is not overwhelming, but is kind of hard. I felt it was necessary to read the textbook. Mr. Curtis is very helpful if there is anything you do not understand.

Honestly one of the best and most entertaining teachers I have ever had the privilege to learn under. He is fun and uses examples that make sense. He rarely if ever jumps on a topic. If you've never taken psychology, be warned he may make you want to make it your major. lol

He is one of my favorite teachers hes very easy going and doesnt put you to sleep. He does everything possible to get you the grade you want and if u need any help hes always willing to take time for you. He loves what he does and hes good at it. very good proffesor :)

Professor Curtis is an extremely knowledgable teacher. I liked his class very much. I had Psychology in my first semester, and the reading at first seemed overwhelming. After I got in a routine, it was better. He brought the difficult topics down to life, and used many family examples. I loved the class. He's the best.

Chris Curtis is a great teacher! He is very helpful and knows his stuff. The quizzes and tests are sometimes hard, but you just have to study. Pay attention and do your homework, and you will do fine.

I took my abnormal psy online and was very worried about such an intense subject with no face to face time. Chris took the time to meet both by phone and in person when needed. Communicated by email very often and replied rather quickly to everything! Grades very fair. Easy A if you do your part of writing and interacting with discussion boards.

I took this class online and ended with a B. The exams were hard for me because I can't remember 4-5 chapters and write 4-5 essays. If I forgot what one thing was I usually couldn't get an A on the exam. I should've studied more but I didn't have time. Seems like a very nice guy though.

Amazing Prof! Simply loves his job. Enthusiastic, good humor. He will make you like Psychology, HOWEVER, all you need to do on your end is complete all work and attend class regularly.

Chris Curtis is one of the easiest teachers I have ever had. He makes great clarification, gives out extra credit, tests are easy, homework is easy, easy to understand.

He is a great professor, would totally take him again. He has two parts to his test: multiple choice and essay. Multiple choice is online, gives you a week to do it, and you can take it as many times as you want. Essay is taken during the first half of class. A paper due every other week, but pretty straight forward. Just make sure you read.

Chris is a great guy. Funny, helpful, easy to listen to. He also shows lots of videos and tries to keep the course generally interesting. He also very much promotes Delta College, which is a refreshing quality.

The work load was outrageous. Every Thursday night work was due; 3 discussion board posts, quiz submitted, writing assignment and option extra credit. Each chapter was around 75+ power-point slides not including book information needed for quizzes. TESTS are RIDICOULOUS . 4 or 5 essays per test which would take HOURS. Would not recommend!

I took Mr. Curtis again after PSY 211. Class is organized in the syllabus and instructions so I knew what to do. Always replies to email questions.

So much energy; Chris really comes to life in class. He's super approachable, and always willing to help.

Prof. Curtis gave a lot of work. Each week we had to write 3 discussion board posts, take a quiz, and do a writing assignment (usually a page or two long). If you read the textbook and take good notes, you'll most likely get a good grade. Exam questions are all essays.

Pretty easy class. Online class so it is a lot of reading. Always answers questions.

I had a different prof for this before, and dropped. His classes are organized and it made it easier to understand the material.

Professor Curtis is great, this is no easy class. You basically cover one chapter each week. With that chapter you have 1 writing assignment, 1 short quiz, 1 extra credit assignment and 3-4 discussion board postings. So multiply that by 14 weeks plus 3 tests at the testing center and thats the whole semester. He is friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed his lectures. Theres a lot of material, in general, so he hits main points in class which means you have to do some reading outside in order to pass the tests. Hes not a tough grader but he definitely is nit-picky. He made classes enjoyable, showed multiple videos through the semester and provided examples. Would recommend.

This online course was clearly outlined and responses and feedback were timely. Every week you need to complete a discussion post with 2 replies, do a writing assignment and take a quiz. There are four exams at the testing center that are essays, but he gives a study guide prior to tests. Pretty solid instructor and average amount of work.

Professor Curtis is amazing! I throughly enjoyed taking his course even though Psychology doesn't or didn't interest me. The subjects were all focused on each and every chapter in our book. He did a great job explaining things and I could always shoot him an email if I didn't understand. I do recommend getting the book and reading it carefully.

Chris was by far the best professor I've had at Delta. I am not interested in Psychology in the slightest, but he was incredibly lively when it came to lectures and make it super interesting. He is also an incredibly kind man and wants all of his students to pass, you can tell that he really cares. Tests and writing assignments are pretty easy!

I regret not taking this class online because going to this class is almost pointless. I have to read the textbook anyway because he doesnt cover all of the info in class that will appear on tests. I love him and hes so passionate about psychology but reading the textbook is a lot of work and he has very high expectations.

Great professor. Super nice and down to earth. He is a lot of lecture but doesn't really help when taking the multiple choice test. If you don't read the chapters in the book you will fail guaranteed. The tests are very hard. The material is hidden in the chapters. No heads up to what is on the essay part of the test either.

Take this course online!! Tests/quizzes are all about the reading so there wasnt really a point going to class. You HAVE to read the textbook chapters

I didn't really have problems with Prof. Curtis himself, but this class was kind of a lot of work. A paper, quiz, and 3 discussion boards a week! Plus reading the chapters, which are each around 30 pages. Answers to lots of the questions can be found on Quizlet, though. He also offers an extra credit assignment every week.

Took intro to psych. online with prof. Curtis. He makes his grading criteria very clear. He always sent out an update each week and made sure to tell us if due dates changed. I got into a good routine for completing his class work each week. We wrote a small paper each week responding to a prompt. Online textbook is very helpful for this class.

I didn't think I would be a psychology major. After I took Prof Curtis's class I am now majoring and part of the Psychology Club. Great class!

Professor Curtis is very kind and respectful. He has a set calendar and schedule for the semester and is very consistent. As long as you are attending class and following along with the lectures, you should do fine on the tests and papers. He is very passionate about psychology and you could see it in the way he taught.
