This Prof is absolutely terrible. When asking a question he'd usually be rude and make you feel as though you're asking the silliesty question ever. When doing the final, we all discovered he hadn't actually taught us half of what the other classes knew
It's stats so it's hard. So suck it up, he' s not that bad.
Chris Fisher is pure genius and an amazing professor. Anyone with half a brain who puts in an effort to pay attention to him will see this. The rest of you can go back to Admin.

Chris Fisher is hilarious. His outfits are worth coming to class for. He explains everything very well and lets you know exactly what he wants on his tests. The best part is that he uses interesting examples to make stats fun! Don't hesitate to take the class. It's easy!

A totally respectable prof - knew his stuff, was very clear (both in terms of teaching and expectations), and tried to keep things light with intereting examples. i.e. blood alcohol content prediction intervals - very relevant for university students.
wont take his class again ,even he had his PHD in 1970's but the he is not a good insructor ,too stict when he gives marks even pay lots of attention on english handwriting.however,his handwriting is hard to understand.
i rather hang myself than take this class again, however i do have to take the class again, NOT GOOD, i would use more vulgar english, but that would not be proper, he sucks, as does the text O'neil, both should be taken off the face of the earth.
No good. All stats finals were uniform except for Fisher's class. Out of all the stats prof's that semester, the students taking Fisher's class did the worst. Doesn't help when you smell like a brewery for the final and forget a calculator.
take his class is big mistake,he didn't teacher math in almost 10years you can get 1997's passpaper from him .Ask him question by email ,he didn't response.really sucks

He is very hard to follow, he is all over the place with his examples. I dont know if I would want him for a calculus class. This stats wasnt too hard so it wasnt bad. Quizzes where short and to the point, final wasnt too bad, but the questions on the final were a bit different than I was use to.

When I took the class there was a 60% failure rate. His tests are impossible and he just doesnt get it. He thinks every class is very dumb and he is very very smart.

Welcome to University where your hand is no longer held. The Prof and student services both offer tutoring. What is ridiculous is the amount of students who don't take class seriously and waste everyone elses time by being there.
This prof is someone you should never take from. He screws up in class constantly and mixes up questions. His exams are ridiculously hard - he says the questions are from the textbook but they're not. If people want to leave his class, they basically can't, because he points them out and makes them feel stupid. His retirement is way overdue.
Everyone seems to hate Chris Fisher,I don't know why though.Sure sometimes he isn't too clear but it's funny when he messes up. He fixes himself,or the students do.Sure the tests are kinda tough, but he really isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be.I think everyone who is ****ing about him had there hand held a little to much in high school.

Go to class and do your work and you'll do fine. I don't know what you people expect from your profs, but he is going above and beyond. Maybe you wouldn't get such****ty marks if you went to the tutorial.
Honest to God, do not take a class from Fisher. He is terrible! I got a tutor for this class to help me understand, and by the end of the class even she hated him. He seems to know what he's talking about, but he's the only one. Confusing and scatter-brained, he is not the prof to take math with if you value your sanity.

NEVER TAKE A CLASS FROM HIM! Classes should be taught, he doesn't teach. Not well at least. The point of a prog is guidance and instruction. He has neither. He also has a profound lack of respect for people and has a slight social retardation. Go to MacKnight if you can. She is amazing.
If you don't come to class you're screwed! He is a type of prof that is all over the place. His teaching skills arn't the best, so be sure to pay attention in class. And DON'T LEAVE THE CLASSROOM while he's lecturing because he'll go into a rant about you. Very approachable and helpful outside of class so be sure to take full advantage of that.

Absolutely terrible, can't get a point across to save his life. Pretty much bad news all around.
He's really not so bad. It's an easy class if you've taken high school calculus. The assignments aren't too hard. Quizzes can sometimes be tricky. Final exam isn't hard and is very short. LOVED his socks and sandals. He's kinda funny in his own way.
hes not even a math 103 teacher he mainly teaches geometry and he is soo confusing and not fair he marks his own work wrong!
Dr. Fisher is by far the best prof I've ever had! He's so helpful!!! His class is so interesting and he is hilarious! He has really helped me prepare to teach high school geometry. (And his class is not that bad if you do the work and always show up to class)

Terrible prof. He once created overheads of a bunch of assignments that were handed in and he berated the people who submitted them in front of the entire class...basically calling them stupid and wasting his time. hum, students pay for these class 'professor'...they don't pay for your bad attitude.
What you don't get or can't follow means alot ... keep up, catch up or get out sorry but ...
