Kauhn was really great. He hands out a course packet and everything on it is on the exams paired with the Netter book. He goes through everything with extreme detail and explains everything perfectly. This class is insanely difficult so studying and attending open labs are important. The TAs are ridiculously helpful and have great mnemonic devices.

Great professor to take the anatomy lab with! He gives you all the information you need for the exams in class from the course packet and will answer questions not covered in it. Exams are very straight forward as long as you put in the studying time. This class is tough, I honestly study more for this one credit lab then the actual 4 credit class.

If showing slides of Netter pictures constitutes "teaching", I want my tuition money back. The guy lectured for about a half hour and left the 3 hour lab, while the undergrad TAs taught. I did well in lab, but it was literally because of the TAs and not Chris.

Great Professor and helpful TA's. The class is so interesting and working with cadavers was a great opportunity. Tests were timed per question so I felt rushed especially with the muscle exam and you are only able to see the cadavers once a week in class so becoming familiar with them for the labeling part of exam was hard. Study powerpoints well.

The subject by definition requires to study hard. I took the lecture and lab at the same time with Prof Kauhn and it really helped me to understand the subjects. There is no book required, the material shared by Prof Kauhn is excellent. Lastly he has genuine interest on helping his students to learn and achieve the best grades.

Kauhn is the best anatomy prof at OU easily. Graded by only 4 exams, but they aren't particularly difficult. Half of class he spends lecturing, other half the TAs actually show you with models and cadavers what you are learning. Take lecture at the same time you take lab, makes it easier to comprehend. Curves average to 75% too, E.C. on all tests.

The literal greatest. I found this class harder than my organic chemistry class to get high scores in because Kauhn will put every once of information from the powerpoints onto the lecture exams, which leads to a completely holistic, rewarding, and comprehensive anatomy experience. If you want an easy A, fade Kauhn; if you want mastery, take him.

Lab was far easier than lecture because there was generally less material at more superficial face value. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH LECTURE (2100)! If you take them separate, best of luck balancing this workload with your other classes, whereas if you take them together, you can get away with studying predominantly lecture and be fine for both.

One of CK's TAs here. When you take Kauhn you're signing yourself up for a challenging, material-heavy class that will be as rewarding as you want it to be. I'm close with many OU professors, and none care nearly as much for their students as Kauhn does; however, you should not expect anything to come easily. Take lecture (2100) and lab together.

personally think he's overrated. He's funny, enjoyable lecture, definitely knowledgeable. However, very lecture heavy. it's doable, but time consuming. 96% is an A. He's not easy, can't study 2 days before for an exam. Will curve if average is below 75%. 4 EC on all lab exams. Nothing special though. Great guy, rigorous lecture. But, it's college.

Nice guy, little weird. Gives PLENTY of time on exams, but those are your entire grade. He curves them sometimes if the average is extremely low. He offers some extra credit on exams.
