Nice guy, but you end up turining in 36 papers. whole lotta work, and rarely givs A's.

Ross Gellar look-a-like, he is incredibly easy. He grades your papers easy and as long as you do the work you'll get an a. But his lectures tend to be boring

Professor Kreiser is a funny guy and the class is so fun and easy! You write alot of journals, but they're VERY EASY and he grades REALLY easy!!! There's no final and Kreiser may ramble sometimes, but the class is just plain easy!

Very easy course!! Take this professor! You don't even really need to turn in work on time as long as it eventually gets turned in! Easy going. Lots of fun! Tell him you like the Browns and you are good to go

Very fun guy in class. Class consists of one page journal entries and 2 page papers. 6 papers a semester.

The class is sooo easy! there are alot of journals to write, but they take no time at all and he grades so easily! I don't mind going to this class and Kreiser lets u out early alot too! he's a cool guy and while he may have favorites the class is easy no matter what.

Easiest prof. He's very helpful and is willing to help you anytime you are available. You talk about sports for the first 20 minutes of class which isn't so bad. Definatly take him if you have the chance.

Dr.Kreiser is an awesome professor, he does all he can to explain and help me and my class out. Mr.Crum is cool too.

Kreiser is probley the best teacher on campus. He is so easy and if you get a bad grade on a paper he lets you rewrite it and he'll help you rewrite it. Very nice prof. Should take!

Very good professor. Class is kind of easy but you have to be willing to work for your grade. He talks a lot but is not boring. Makes class interesting as well as educational. He is more than willing to help students out with anything and loves participation. Definitely take Kreiser for a class...one of the best in the English department.

Great professor, talks a lot about funny movies and is never too serious. Really knows all there is to know about rhetoric. This class will help you become a better writer and thinker, definitely take it.

in his defense, like most classes that attempt to codify what you already do everyday, it's boring. he tries to make it interesting, but he teaches like students are all morons (a week or more on a simple concept). he's also fairly patronizing, but if you don't mind not learning much and daddy's paying for an easy grade, go for it.

Keep up with the binder and the writing groups and you'll be golden. He offers rewrites on three out of four of the papers you write. You are basically given an A in his course!!

Very nice professor!! His class really interesting and makes you think a lot. It's pretty easy, but be sure to go to class b.c. the presentations and talks will help you understand the material better.

Great guy. He teaches very well. You can be the worst writer and still get an A. You have to just follow the format and give him what he's looking for, none of which has to do with whether or not he agrees with you(contrary to other reviews). You may want to avoid him, although an easy teacher, as he gives a lot more work than other CW classes.

He's one of the most interesting teachers on campus. Though the work is time comsuming, it's all worth it. Plus it helps you to be orgainized with the binder. He's a cool teacher and person. Honored to have been taught by him.

Very helpful teacher. If you have any problems with any of the assignmenets he will explain in great detail what he wants. He ALLOWS rewrites! Very nice guy, the best professor I have had so far. If you see an opening for his class, sign up. They fill fast.

People who complain about him not directing you don't realize that he's primarily a Platonist: he wants people to find their own style. EXTREMELY helpful and kind; if you don't understand something, he's more than willing to explain it. Points ARE scarce, but work is easy and graded fairly. Learned a lot; gave a glowing review on his evaluation!

Awesome guy, but is pretty inconsistent with how he grades. But if you do get a low grade he takes a time slot from his office hours for you to explain how to improve the paper, and then lets you rewrite it.

Professor Kreiser is great! Work involved, but its worth your time. English majors, I would highly recommend him! Keep up with the binder and you'll get the points. If you mess up on a paper you get the chance to rewrite if you meet with him! Def there to see you pass!

Keep up with your binder, and make sure to come to class every day! But overall, he is extremely helpful and his grading isn't super hard. If you don't do good, you're just lazy. He also is very picky about MLA.. but you get the hang of it. I'd take him again.

Make sure you keep up with your binder!!!! Thats very important! Do all your work a head of time, dont wait to the last minute. Overall, its a all rite class. He loves to interact with the class, so be prepared to be called on. No,tests. Jus be sure to notice the color of his shirt when you take the surprise quiz!!

An absolutely adorable man who is very intelligent and easy to approach. The class is difficult, but it IS a 400 level, and he's more than willing to help you. I paid attention, took good notes, and actually tried, and got all perfect scores. Lots of written work, but if you keep up with it and maintain your binder, it's not so bad. Recommended!

Kreiser was SUCH an awesome teacher!! He really helped with anything you needed even if it wasn't in his class. I also had him for FYRST.. he is such a cool guy you just have to get used to him saying "all of ya'll"! He always does rewrites for you to get 100% and all you have to do is keep up with your binder. I would DEFINENTLY take him again!

I left this class loving the course content. Kreiser taught an interesting, relevant, and informed class. He was well prepared and I thoroughly enjoyed our class meetings. One of the best professors in the department! Very committed to his students' success.

He's a good teacher, but there are soooo many assignments. You have to write a billion drafts, memos, keep your binder perfect, and he always assigns readings. All the assignments seemed so pointless.. it would be easier if he graded just the actual paper rather than a thousand drafts for each one. if you wana be busy all semester.. take him...

He is a cool guy. He has a lot of assignments. There is a good amount of reading so you will need the book. Keep your binder perfect and follow the syllabus. Make sure your MLA format is right or he wont accept your paper. You definately will be spending a lot of time on journal entries.

Dr. K is a really relaxed, nice person and his earnest wish for his students to do well translates to the classroom easily. Since college writing is a mandatory class, I would definitely recommend having it with him. Just keep up with your binder and the long-term tasks and it's not difficult to get an A or B.

He is a good teacher, really helpful with writing and how to improve your writing. However, 30% of the class is based on how you keep your binder. If you are a neat and organized person take him...if you are like me stay far far far far away.

You either love him or you hate him. I had him for college writing and I loved him but that's because I did my work. His class is very easy and it's all about the students. He's helpful and he loves what he's doing.

It's a lot of work, but easy if you keep up on it and pay attention.

I LOVE HIM! He is my favorite professor. I also had him for college writing! He does require you to put in a lot of effort into the class with his "Binder Checks", BUT it is not difficult at all. If you just take a small amount of time out of your day and do a "journal entry" you'll pass the class EASILY with an A. He is very helpful. TAKE HIM!

I love Prof. Krieser! He is very understanding, very clear, and such a sweet guy. There are only two tests the entire semester and no final exam. He does 2 Binder Checks with journals, but if you keep up with the readings and the journals, this class is a breeze. He doesn't grade them very hard either! Easy class and you learn a lot.

I absolutely loved him! I took him for college writing and what he wanted was very clear. He does a binder check twice a semester but other than that there's no tests or quizzes. The papers are easy and if you have them checked by him before handing them in you will get an A with his help. Definitely recommend!!

I thought I was a good writer, but I think he's picky in some areas. He's very comfortable to be around and is helpful. But do be prepared to write a lot. He occasionally let's us out early and cancels class.

I really liked taking Dr. Kreiser. We wrote a lot of papers in this class, and the whole class was out of 100 points. He makes you keep a binder which is a tad tedious, but he definitely cares about his students. He wants to see that you care, so go see him in his office and he will be super helpful. I would definitely take him again!

Mr. Kreiser was a fantastic professor, super nice guy overall. The only major project in the class is that you have to keep up with a binder, it can be annoying and you have to keep it organized but its not hard. Highly recommend Mr. Kreiser, he's a funny guy and he's super understanding.

Improv definitely threw me for a loop. Lots of embarrassing public speaking. Dr. Kreiser was a great prof for this course. His intentions were very clear, and he is very supportive and uplifting. We did four 10 minute improv shows throughout the semester, all in groups. You just have to make the most of this class and roll with it.

One of my favorite professors on campus. Hes funny, straight to the point, and gives you plenty of time to get your work done. Attendance is necessary, but the classes are dreadful. Great guy

I took his university seminar class and at first I wasnt a fan, but I gave it a chance and ended up loving it. This guy truly cares about his students and wants to see you succeed. His laugh literally killed me. I will be taking him for critical writing and reading. Overall, 11/10. Take this prof you wont regret it!!!

Easily one of the best English professors at S.R.U. Do the discussion posts and come to class if you want to receive a perfect on your papers. He's funny, engaging, and really caring. Would recommend.

I highly recommend Dr. Kreiser for Critical Writing. You have weekly discussion posts which are not bad at all and 2 papers, plus an annotated bibliography. You play games sometimes too! However, you work on these throughout the entirety of the semester and Dr. Kresier gives you all the tools and resources you need to be successful. He is awesome!!

I took comp and rhet because I had him for ENGL102 and it was one of my favorite classes that I had that semester. Comp and rhet is hard, but the way he teaches it makes a lot of sense and there is not a lot of homework. He goes over the papers in detail and wants every student to succeed.

Dr. Kreiser truly cares for his students and the grades that they will receive. He is always willing to help and has extremely helpful feedback regarding the questions asked. I would recommend Dr. Kreiser to absolutely anyone

Dr. Kreiser was a fantastic professor. He's super chill and always willing to help if you need it. The class itself is super easy; just make sure you do the homework/writing and you'll probably get a good grade. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kreisler is an amazing professor and he wants you to get your work done and get a good grade on the assignment as well. You have a weekly discussion due every Sunday and have 2 papers due and an annotation due throughout the semester. He cancels class quite often and has a good chunk of “online classes” but you just work on your papers.

Overall Dr. Kreiser is a very caring and fair professor, he is the virtue for those who need to take these General Ed English courses. The criteria he gives is very clear, you follow it, and you practically get a flawless grade.

I loved his class. He taught me so many things, and he was very personable. He related the course material to the real world, and he made jokes that were actually funny. I 100% recommend him for any English course that you take. He says that attendance is mandatory, but I found that if you never missed class, he just gave you a bonus.

I took him for ENGL 101 and 102, he is a great professor and explains everything well. I feel like I learned a lot from his courses. I didn't feel scared to ask questions in class.

He is a very great professor for critical writing, very down to earth, and was my favorite professor in my first semester. If you miss, he has extra credit to cover 3 absences, and his assignments aren't useless; they make sense. Nothing feels like busy work; everything has meaning and connects.

Dr. Kreiser was an excellent teacher who gave a lot of inspiration to students. He made many good points and offered helpful ways to improve our writing. However, I felt that when I tried to go to his office hours for help, he often didn't seem to be there.
