Excellent professor. Very fair in grading, maybe too fair. Tests are simple, you just have to take your time and think before you answer.

Easy business class.There are 3 test and he drops the lowest one. The final only covers the last couple chapters. No homework, except for a crossword puzzle before each test.Overall, its a good class and he's a good teacher.

he jams his test together in one lump some... like 3 chapters at a time... and he reads stright from the power point slide... indeed he did know what he was talking about but..... ZzzZzZzZ

He's a wonderful professor! Explains everything clearly and is very honest and fair. The online class was not easy, but I learned soooo much! He also gives enough extra credit to bring you up a full grade for the entire course (B to an A). Take him if you want to learn!

A terriffic teacher; fair but challenging

It's a definate note-taking course and you'll get a decent grade if you show up to class and don't miss out on puzzles and notes

Great teacher who really cares about the students who really try. If you are a flake, you will get out of his class what you put in. Take his class!

This teacher really goes overboard in trying to be fair and helpful. I spent many hours in his office getting tutoring. He did not get paid for it, and I am sure he had other things to do, but he stayed there for me. If you show an interest and try, he will be there for you. Take him!

I took the online business law class, and found it to be fairly difficult. After the midterm, I sat in on several in class sessions and went over quizzes during office hours. He was always available to answer questions. If you show an interest, he will help you succeed in this class. Do the reading, and ask if you need help, then you will do fine.

i took real estate and business 100 with him and he is a great teacher. he really knows his stuff and i really liked his powerpoint lectures-it made note taking really easy. he is also really generous with extra credit points.

One of the best teacher I've ever had.

Attend lecture and pay attention and you shouldn't even have to look in the book. He covers everything he puts on the tests and the tests are easy. Has one extra credit assignment. If he's available for any classes you're interested in, take him. Hamilton FTW.

Talks a mile a minute and doesn't give you enough time to even write down half of the notes he gives. Otherwise a great teacher. Tests require you to study from your notes, but I found after the beginning that buying the book was a waste of money. Good teacher.

Interesting class. Good teacher. Does a good job of explaining concepts. Book is a little lame. Go to class and pay attention. Tests can be tricky. I learned a lot. He made the class very interesting. He can be tough, but he's fair. Big PowerPoint guy.

His lecture is easy to understand. tests are so tricky and hard! I strongly recommend you to read chapters on textbook then fill out things that you don't understand.Tests are primarily based on lectures. If you don't get them in the class, you will find them right on textbook! don't worry! but that's the way I did to get an A in this class.

Take his online course. It is fairly easy and he responds quickly to emails. He is extremely helpful and gives extra credit. Good teacher and willing to say when hes wrong. I definately recomend him

Exams are hard... tricky... do all your extra credit and answer all your answers...

I found that the students who were flaky and didnt want to study found this class hard and didnt like his approach. Those of us who really wanted to learn found him extremely helpful, clear, and actually was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am now in the CSULB MA program, so I have many teachers to compare him with. An A+ teacher

Dr. Hamilton's Online Business Law class is one of the best online classes I have taken. I took the 4 week Winter session class, whic is very fast-paced. His website is easy to navigate. You have to read the assignments to do well, but he is very fair, and responds to emails very quickly.

Sorry, meant to put a 1 for Easiness. I took his summer online course. Take this course ONLY if you need it. Chances are you will not receive an A for this class. I spent hours and hours of studying and only received a B. This course is a very difficult course.

This is the 2nd course I have taken with Dr. Hamilton. This class I took online and I found it very user friendly and fairly easy. There are 4 h.w. assignments (x-word puzzels), 2 minor test, a midterm & final. He also has an extra credit assigment. I would recommend anyone interested in Real Estate to take his courses. He knows his stuff!

He is not easy but extremely smart and teaches well. if you don't want to spend time on studying, it's not for you maybe, but if you do, it is a really helpful class for you. he is my favorite prof!

Easy class and information is straight forward. Exams are easy to understand if you actually read the questions and study. Those who said he is difficult are just simps.

This is a great professor, hes really nice and very straight to the point you study the crosswords and the questions and you will definetly get a B or higher. great teacher.

Very good teacher! His tests are difficult but if you go to lecture and do the hw you should'nt get lower than a C. The way he teaches makes you understand the concept very well, and his examples are interesting and fun. If you have to take any business classes, take him!

Easy class and great professor; no trick questions like Dr. Carmel. If something is not in the book, he will tell you. He will break his own lectures and tell you how things work in the real world or if the book is wrong/dated. Dr. Hamilton teaches 2 days a week; he's an attorney and real estate broker. He KNOWS what he teaches. Cant ask for more.

This class is a breeze. Seriously, it's ALL common sense. If you go to class and actually take notes you'll pass every single test. This teacher is way too fair on his grading- he let us turn in two assignments late because a student told him he had already agreed to move to due date. The tests are straight from the notes. LOGICAL! easy class.

His class was boring a times but its business law. He is very invented with his games and you should do all his extra credit even if you don't think you need it. He is helpful and will repeat only if you ASK him. Over all his class was easier than I thought.

What you find with remote learning classes are that (1) there are glitches in the system,(2) the instructors don't take responsibility and (3) the students suffer as a result. Dr. Hamilton made the adjustments when the system had issues, and even provided his contact information in the event there was a time sensitive issue. High Marks from me!

Easiest class Ive taken & Ive spent a few years in college. Had Prof. Hamilton for several classes. He is straightforward, no trick questions, provides help & also X-word puzzles which are essentially study guides for the T/F & Multiple choice tests. States when something isn't in the book. Impossible not to pass if you just read & do the puzzles.

If you are a take-note-and-listen-to-lecture type of student, this class is the right choice! His notes and lecture are so easy to understand, not much hw, almost no quizzes! It's my 1st semester here and this class makes me feel so relax. Also his puzzle & law review are x-tremely helpful when test come; he spends time to review for the test too.

Dr. Hamilton is fair and is available to review class assignments and talk with students. Tests are tough but not overly, there is a lot of material and few assignments, read text, take notes and do extra credit hmwk it helps you to better understand and keep refreshed for the final.

I took business law online with Professor Hamilton. He's really clear about what you will do in the class. 4 homework assignments, 2 quizzes, midterm, and final. He does offer 1 extra credit assignment, and says 95% of his students complete it. My only complaint is that you have very little time to complete the quizzes and exams.

I took Prof Hamilton for my bus law class, theres a lot of notes that you must take and you have to show up to class, if you read and study hard for all the midterms and final, there is no doubt that you will pass! Just a heads up his exams are tricky! Read every question properly! He helped me a lot during office hours, and he's a good teacher!

One of the best teachers that I have ever had. Makes you work for the grade, but it is worth it. Highly recommended... take him.

I thought the subject material was very interesting and he seemed like a nice enough person, but the tests were SO HARD. Maybe I'm just stupid. I took like over 20 pages of notes for the first test and I STILL FAILED. The tests were insanely hard, and I had to drop with a W. I thought I could handle an accelerated course but I guess not...

I took online Legal Environment of Business with Professor Hamilton. Class is pretty easy and straightforward. Crossword puzzles for homework. Exams questions may be tricky, although quiz questions are much easier. Even if you read the entire book, some questions may catch you off guard because of the tricky nature. I should have gotten A plus

Don't buy the book, I never even used it. His lectures are all PowerPoint and that's what all the exams are based on. Make sure there you do the extra credit, as there are only about 150 points in the class and it can help you go up a whole letter grade. You definitely earn the grade that you deserve- so be prepared to study. I learned a lot.

If you want to learn then take his class. If you want to sluff off don't. He is a great teacher and is available for student questions and exam reviews in his office hours.

Very useful class to take. His class have a clear structure to follow. He will give a lecture, review the crossword puzzle, then law review and test. He will repeat exact same definition and example for student to enforce your memories. However, need to work hard to get a A. I highly recommend to record his lectures so you can listen them again.

Dr. Hamilton has changed his lectures to accommodate note taking and now provides his PowerPoints to his students, which makes his class and lectures interesting and less formal. He is a great teacher, and I recommend him for serious students.

Don't skip the class because you can't understand the powerpoint slides w/o attending class. Do all assignment to get extra credits. His tests are difficult but you'll get used to it as paying attention to his lecture. He always does the review before the test, so take advantage of them. He's willing to answer any problem you have so please takehim

Professor Hamilton was a good man. He inspired me to pursue a future in corporate law and gave me the basics to make sure my business was secure legally. I will forever remember him as one of the most knowledgeable, inspirational professors I have taken. Yes he was difficult, because law is difficult. But he cared, and thats what matters.

I had taken Mr.Hamilton class many.many . Moons ago and he was a tremendous teacher with an amazing upside. He was very detailed in his teachings also ask challenging questions to help you become a better student and have knowledge and understanding business. I have to say thru his teachings it had a profound effect in my past careers .
