Dr. LeGrow was one of the best instructors of my undergraduate career. He was very understanding and helpful and he cared. His class was easy and informative. I recommend him for any class.

i dreaded stats, but once i got in his class i knew there was no reason to fear. the material is not easy, but he presents its in such a way you forget that it isn't. wonderful professor, who knew statistics would be my favorite class of the semester?

He is very interested in the material he teaches and therefore, teaches his class with passion and understanding. I look forward to going to his class and I'm wondering if i should change my major to Psychology!

State universities, especially those football schools with mediocre academic standards like Marshall, never attract professors like LeGrow. Patient, articulate, thorough, and brilliant, LeGrow may be among the most talented teachers of his generation.

I was so nervous to take a stats class, but he made it so simple! I took his class in the summer and had to miss a lot for personal reasons, he was very understanding about letting me make up work. LOVED HIM!:D Would take again at any chance!

He is very helpful and easy to understand! He'll go out of his way to help you with any problems you have, and makes his class VERY interesting! He speaks on your level, and reviews all material more than once to make sure the information is clear.

I had avoided every math class I could until I found out this was required to get into grad school. Luckily, Dr. Legrow was able to easily explain the pesky methods I had hidden from for so long. He is a great person and willing to help anyone.

I always HATED psychology before taking Dr. Legrow. He is AWESOME! He will go out of his way to make sure that you get the best grade possible. There are lots of chances for bonus points and his tests are always from his notes. If you don't cover it in class, it isn't on the test! He's the best!!

If you have to take Psych 201, take LeGrow. He's very easy to understand, the lectures are interesting, and he can make his own tests (as opposed to departmental tests that GA's have to give) which are mainly on his notes. Along with bonus points, it's hard NOT to do well in his class.

This Guy is one of the best professors in marshall.

Very nice and helpful, explains well. Uses class decisions vs. "this is the plan". Review take home exams and ask questions before turning in. TAKE NOTES on the few days he gives them. Tells you what to study before exams. My final grade = A.

Not only a good teacher, but a really nice guy. He doesn't waste your time, and you can learn alot. Be respectful, and always go to class and take notes. I didn't study very much and got an A. He's good about letting people make-up missed assignments also.

Dr. LeGrow has been one of my favorite profs at Marshall. I had him in the summer, and I've never had a professor hold my interest for 3 hours like he did. He gave us weekly quizzes, and that was the bulk of your grade. He was awesome to work with if you had to miss a class. Very intelligent, relates to college kids very well. Highly recommended.

Great professor, you MUST study and keep up on your work, but it's an easy A if you apply yourself a little! He really cares about his students and will help you any way he can! I'd take him for as many classes as possible.

He is so nice and intelligent. This class is not easy; the material can kind of get confusing. However, Chris really makes it interesting and easier to understand.

Professor is intelligent and presents materials in a clear manner. He is very helpful and willing to discuss anything related to psychology. He is also fun. Tests are not easy, unless you have perfect attendance and ask a lot of questions. He is an awesome guy and a great teacher!

If you're looking for a Psych Capstone, take Humor in the Work Place. No exams, excellent class. I can't stress enough to take this as a Capstone. I actually look fwd to attending this class. This is def. NOT a normal Capstone.

Dr. Legrow's Paranormal psych class is awesome. Its really interesting and you can tell he really enjoys teaching it. There are small homework assignments. Theres 50 question exams and at the end of the semester you are assigned to a group and you give a big powerpoint presentation. Legrow will do whatever he can to help you out. Hes the best!

Legrow reminds me of a high school teacher in the way he explains things. He actually teaches you as if you don't know anything about the subject, which is great. Attendance isn't manadatory, but if you want to understand the material then come to class. He is so clear in explaining and gives you enough homework and practice problems to do well.

I had professor Legrow for Psych STATS. He is AMAZING! I am not very good at math and so far I have an A in the course. He gives clear instructions and explanations of everything. He does not move on if someone does not understand the material. He is extremely helpful and always answers emails, even on weekends

I'm terrible at math, and I passed this stats class with an A. you really only need the workbook.He explains things really well and answers every question. He goes over the material again before the tests, and gives you a formula sheet. Some easy homework assignments and give you some extra credit. Overall just pay attention.

PERFECT PROFESSOR. literally have nothing bad to say. he could teach a 5 year old this stuff. Go to class, take notes, do homework, do test reviews, and you will get an A. You can email him and ask if your homework answers are right prior to turning it in. He makes sure there is no excuse to fail, which is amazing!

Took Paranormal Psychology. Second time I have taken a class of his. He is an AWESOME professor. Lots of video references used, handouts, easy assignments, test were somewhat confusing sometimes & group presentation. He gave us class days off to work on presentation too. If you TRY, you will get an "A" (just do assignments!).Funny teacher & HELPFUL

I had him for Stats and he was a lifesaver. I am not a "math person" and he made this class very easy. GO TO CLASS! The only reason why you would need the book would be if you skipped class every day. If you go to class and take notes, do the little homework assignments, you will pass. Dr. LeGrow is the only reason I'm going to graduate. He went out of his way to help me learn statistics, emailed me back promptly, even if I emailed him several times in a row, on a saturday, over a break. I don't know if the class is "easy" or "hard" because all math is hard for me, but Dr. LeGrow will always take time out to help you.

I took him for PSY 223 (Statistics) and he was an awesome teacher. He is always happy and enthusiastic, and makes the class more enjoyable with comical examples. I wish Dr. LeGrow were teaching another class I need to graduate from Marshall, because he is an an awesome teacher and I learned a ton in his class. Don't skip class!!

He makes the class a lot more fun than it would have been otherwise. I learned a lot and would definitely take him again!

He is amazing. Don't worry about not being a math person. He answers every question asked and people aren't intimidated to ask questions even in a class of 80. He simplifies things and will work really hard until you understand. Attendance is not a grade but you def need to go to understand what you're doing, a lot is covered each class.

I put this class on the backburner bc of my harder classes and I regret it because it was my favorite. Make sure you keep up with the assignments; they're small but mighty.

He doesn't have an attendance policy but, DO NOT SKIP CLASS IF YOU CAN HELP IT. If you ever have any questions outside of class, he is very good about emailing you back.

He makes sure everyone understands the material before continuing, and he works with you individually if you need help. He gives formula sheets for his tests and the homework is pretty easy. Extremely organized class. LeGrow teaches in one of the clearest and most effective ways with examples and context for everything. Grades class very fairly making this an excellent class to learn in.

Dr. LeGrow is great. He's very passionate about paranormal phenomena which makes the class entertaining. He spends most classes showing you one side of a paranormal investigation that'll make you believe and then he provides proof that debunks it. Also shares personal stories, pictures, etc. of his ghost adventures. Go to class and you'll be fine.

I had Dr. LeGrow as a stand in professor and he was amazing! Actually cares about students understanding the material, and is a genuinely nice person. He gages how he teaches each class period based on how well or how much trouble his students are having. I will ONLY ever take math again if he is teaching it.

LeGrow is a great professor. He is such an easy grader and is very understanding. I really feel like I learned alot in his class. His lectures may be a little monotone but it's a great class.

This is my fifth time having LeGrow as a professor and I cant say enough good about him. His classes are very lecture heavy, so if youre taking it online, treat it like an in person class and just show up as often as you can. He explains things so well and is extremely understanding. Dr. LeGrow is one of my favorite psych profs ive had at Marshall. He has this casualness about him that makes him seem like a prof in a movie lol. But his class structure is very clear and very simple. The class itself (psych300) is great for anyone who like spooky ghosts or ghouls, its basically if Buzzfeed Unsolved were a class. Super fun time!

This is my second class that I have taken with Prof. Legrow, and again, it was an enjoyable class. PSY 300 is Paranormal Psychology so it is not a difficult course; however, he does make it enjoyable and interesting. As long as you are willing to attend class regularly and submit assignments on time, you will do absolutely fine. 10/10 very nice guy

Dr. Legrow is such a kind person, and is accommodating in this course! You have unit exams that cover around 3 chapters, simple homework assignments with 5-6 points, and a research project due at the end of the semester. If you have questions he is always willing to help, you just need to be willing to put in the effort.

All-around great professor and person. The assignments are straightforward and good preparation for exams. The exam material comes straight from the notes. He explains everything clearly and writes down notes as he's talking which has been more helpful and interesting than just reading off of a PowerPoint. If you can take his classes do it!

I cannot recommend Dr. LeGrow enough. In my experience, he teaches the material in a way that makes it relevant to the student, so you learn and remember much more. The structure of the class is very straightforward; low-stakes assignments and exams are based on posted lectures. I also thought the group project was simple. Take him if you can!

I highly recommend taking this class if you get the chance. Dr. LeGrow has given it such a good structure that it makes learning about parapsychology much more interactive and easier to learn. The exams are lengthy and thorough but as long as you stick to the PowerPoints, you'll do fine. Dr. LeGrow tells some fascinating stories in this class!

The best research professor! If you like group research then this is the class to take. Our class got divided into 2 groups that take on different research topics (ex: true crime & paranormal). He handles most of the heavy work & calculation, so don't worry about not knowing what to do. He one of the most caring & helpful professors I've had!

LOVED Prof LeGrow! He is very sweet, the class is so much fun, it's not a stress at all. The assignments only take ~10 mins, opportunities for extra credit, and the reading is minimal and self-led. As long as you come to class and read about 40 pages a week of the assigned readings you'll do fine on the tests. MUST TAKE CLASS SO FUN

Attendance is not required, however, it is recommended. There are in-class assignments, but he will tell you when they are so you for sure make it. Super easy class, just semi-pay attention and use common sense. End of the semester project is to make 2 research designs and present them. He does not grade harshly at all I'd recommend him 100%

Great at his job, cares about his students and is passionate about his areas of research. Realistic and reasonable expectations; assignments are just fun! You get to write ghost stories and debunk hoaxes. You do need to pay attention and show up, but it's an engaging environment. Exams are important and you need to read the 2 novels.

I have only heard good things about Dr. LeGrow. Lectures were informative. He does give plenty of assignments to earn easy points, so you will need to be present to get them (skipping class is not recommended). His tests are straight from lectures as well. There is a group presentation that does require you to work with others!
