Magalis is very passionate and cares a lot about his students. He will work with you and do what he can to help you succeed. I love him, but fair warning that he may be a bit much for some people. He does lecture during the whole class period, but it's important to show up. If you just go to class you'll know what you're doing and you'll do well.

Professor Magalis is an amazing professor who you can always tell is passionate about what he teaches, and he always gives good feedback if you need a paper review. Also just someone fun to talk to! Only thing keeping him from a perfect 5/5 is his tendency to lose track of class time, but other than that, he is awesome!

I needed some accommodation which didn't allow me to attend his course in person, so before the course even began I emailed him twice but he didn't answer. When the course began, I emailed him two more times and he ignored me again.

His class material was very hard for me, but he is an amazing professor. He is very passionate and seems to really care. Honestly one of the best professors I ever had.

Highly caring & wants his students to succeed. He is very passionate about stats so he does tend to lecture for a long duration; sometimes you have to remind him of the time. BUT he adds points for a curve which is super nice. Answers your questions w/ patience & sensitivity. He is a down-to-earth prof. BUT you have to do YOUR part, too, and WORK.

He truly wants his students to do the best they can and he makes sure they do. He gives us extremely clear criteria in our assignments from the lectures and the syllabus. You will not fail this class if you actually care about the psych major. He is THE best professor to take research methods with.

His lectures are painfully boring, he often gets sidetracked and talks about the same thing for over half the class. A girl asked a definition, HE SPENT THE ENTIRE 3 HR CLASS RAMBLING AB IT. He is very kind and caring but also very nitpicky. You will pass prob not with an A. I saw the grades for my class papers it seemed nobody got an A just B/C
