I learned so much about how to discern my current goals and make them happen. His personal examples and those of fellow students offered practical tools. It was a joy!

An engaging and well-respected professor who truly cares about students' wellbeing. Each class was a meaningful lecture in environmental filmmaking, as well as on ethics and personal development. He encourages students to openly discuss course concepts and is always available to speak to students about their progress and career opportunities.

By far the best professor I had at AU! In his class you build a sense of community and get to know each and every one of your class mates. His lectures are always interesting and he incorporates videos, guest speakers and class discussions. Very understanding and once you show that you are working hard, and trying your best you will excel.

Professor Palmer is an energetic, engaging presenter, making each lesson interesting for my Producing Environmental Film course. You can tell he cares about the subject he's teaching, by the enthusiasm he brings to every class. In addition, he enhances his lessons with relevant examples from his time working in the Environmental Film Industry.

He's a great professor and makes a block class go by like a breeze! There aren't tests per-say, but there are "journals" that you need to complete every week that require more than a few sentences (if you want to do well in the class). He's very accommodating and wants you to meet with him every two weeks. The more effort you put in, the better!

This professional seminar was a life changing event. I found it true - that the more you put in, the more you get out of it. Mr. Palmer is an energetic, motivated teacher. The classes were on the level of what you see in a TED talk. It was a pleasure and more than worth the time to be there in person. AU is lucky to have Chris on their team.

Chris is an amazingly fun, high energy, incredibly caring, intelligent, experienced, and humble professor who gets to know the names of all the students in class. After the first class, he called all 50 or so students just to check in. Chriss class was life-changing, and Im so grateful to have had the opportunity to be his student!

The Course "Design Your Life for Success" was outstanding. Chris Palmer is an energetic, enthusiastic teacher who inspires his students to have a vision or mission statement for their life, and to develop a plan and a course of action to accomplish it. This class is lecture heavy so get ready to write/type/record. The book is used some but the majority of his test questions come from lecture material
