Best teacher here at Dade for Business Stat. He's very helpful, fun and motivated. His second home away from home is the business lab, so if you don't find him in his office- it's guaranteed he's at the lab.

This is one of the best teachers. He gives a lot of extra credit so no matter how you do on the test you can still pass the class. He is helpful and clear. But the class is hard!

I have had this major headache since I took this class. His tests are TOO hard, and you must complete very hard assingments(Learn.Adventures) that take about 2 hours each...and there are about 27 of those. If you work parttime..an F is guaranteed.

Not a bad teacher talks alot and puts you to sleep. But with the homework he gives and the extra credit it is easy to pass his class. But you MUST do the homework.

I think Prof. Rogers is a very well prepared Instructor that knows his material. But in my opinion Prof. Rogers teaches so many classes, that he rushes while explaining the material. therefore,you have to be very good at comprehensing & picking up things quick.Dont take Rogers if you have a F/T Job.

maybe i liked him b/c he was in his principles of business class. all i remember is lectures and like 3 easy tests and a GROUP project really easy. i barely went to class and got an A. he loves to talk. i dont think its only girls, he stares at everyone...maybe hes just one of those types of people.

He is a tough prof. but as long as you go to class do the homework and do some extra credit it is a breeze. He knows what he is doing..

Extra Credit is the most important in the class, do all your extra credits and even if you get a c on all the tests you will get an A. My experience I did a few ec and got better grades that other but this other had an overall 5 to 10 points advantage over me because of extra credit points

Easy class, all you have to do is go over the chapters and some examples in the book, he goes over them and reviews everything that will be on the test. He explains throughly all the problems. Plus there are many extra credit assignments by participating in SIFE. He's a good prof.

he's a really cool teacher he's test are not that hard, the only thing is that you have to do a lot of work other than that the class is ok. REMEMBER to do as much Xcredit to pass the class with a good grade.

Take Rogers! I heard Rubio is good, but given the choice NOW I'd choose Rogers again. The computer assignments (Quants) take a WHILE to do. There is quite a bit of homework involved, but fairly easy to stay on top of. DO EXTRA CREDIT!! You can EASILY bump up your grades with ALL the E.C. he gives!

Rogers is a good teacher,but this class is not one that you can sleep through.As long as you pay attention & do all the hw you should do ok:-)The Hawkes homework takes time and the tests are not easy,just practice!Do all the extra credit & you can get a great grade. Students who want to learn take him, he really has a lot to offer.

DO EXTRA CREDIT! He gives SO MUCH oppurunity for extra credit that even if you do "okay" on the tests, you can still get a B or even an A AS LONG AS YOU DO EXTRA CREDIT! The tests & Quant can be difficult. He reviews before each test. ALOT of work involved, so don't expect to slack off. I got an A in the class; just stay on top of the work & do EC!

knowledgable teacher, i havent got my grade yet, and im happy with him. extra credit a big plus. tests mult. choice and fairly easy. just study a little cuz he reviews EVERYTHING in class!

Do as much extra credit as possible!!I got an A in the class thanks to extra credit. He is such a nice guy but the material tends to be confusing specially towards the end of the semester.The Hawkes is way too much time consuming and there is a lot of work involved.Try to do everything available, and if you dont do Ok on the test still can get an A

tests are not that easy, mc but even if you get all C's in the tests and do ec you will end up with an A. get on his good side...hes a nice guy.

The tests arent as easy but if you do the Hawkes assignments, you'll understand the stuff he lectures in class. He's such a nice professor and knows A LOT! Extra credits are reallllly helpful and he gives out tons of it so theres no excuse to not getting an A in his class...

This teacher is pretty good for statistics. It is a very hard class so take good notes and study from the book too! His tests are kind of hard but he gives out so much Extra Credit so do them if you want a good grade! Hawkes Learnings are very helpful! I ended with a B :)

Excellent Techer! There is alot of work involved but he gives plenty of extra credit to help with your grades.

This prof is super easy. Yes he does take the whole hour to teach the class but he is not at all hard. He gives enough extra credit to pass the class with an A. Of course if you want a free A then this class isn't for you. The tests are easy because he gives reviews for each chapter. You really have to be lazy & stupid not to pass his class with A.

Amazing teacher, alot of extra-credit. Tests are word for word as he tells you. Got 116.4 average at the end of the semester. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

He is one of the few teachers that I would highly recommend. He gives mandatory HW and lots of EC to boost your grade. If you put time and a little bit of effort you can get an A. He informs you several times during the semester of your current grade.

Great teacher. Takes the time to keep you posted on your grades. Is available when needed.Lots of extra credit. If you have problems with the tests, Just practice on the Hawkes program and you will get a better feel. My favorite teacher since I have been in Miami Dade!

VERY GOOD TEACHER! HE GIVES A LOT OF EXTRA CREDIT SO EVEN IF YOUR NOT GOOD IN STATISTICS YOU ARE SURE TO PASS THE CLASS. HOMEWORK IS REQUIRED BUT IT BOOSTS UP YOUR GRADE, AND HE GIVES STUDY GUIDES RIGHT BEFORE THE TEST THAT HE REVIEWS WITH THE ANSWERS. I REALLY RECCOMMEND HIM! A+++

SIMPLY THE BEST PROFFESSOR. HE'S AN EXPERT, SO SMART, FUNNY AND REALLY HELPFUL. DON'T THINK TWICE TO TAKE HIM.

great prof. easy do all work given. he gives tons of extra credit to help you pass the class. do homework, hawks learning system, and the chapter reveiws and you will pass. If you have free time you can join the SIFE club and help whenever its needed and you will get credit. oh and make sure you do your lab hours.

Very nice and helpful teacher. gives lots of extra credit work to help imporve grades. accepts late work. Very understanding. He is such a sweet guy, gotta love him..

This professor is awesome! He helps you so much. He wants all his students to pass and he understands that not everyone does good on tests. He gives you so much extra credit of course if you don't take advantage you may not do so well. I got an A in the class with the help of the extra credit. If you want an A take him.

VERY good professor. He offers an unbelievable amount of extra credit and gives you an opportunity to still get at least a 'B' in the class even if you did bad on your test grades. Highly recommended!

Great teacher. I wish more teachers would follow his steps. Dr. Rogers really knows his stuff great asset for Miami Dade.

The professor is a great guy. The book however needs a lot of work (he is author). Aside from the multiple typos (which should be corrected in the next edition), it read more like an instruction manual than a textbook. Hawks lessons are essential to understand the material...the book and class alone are not enough. He is very helpful, and kind.

This is the professor to take! He teaches in a stress-free environment. He's awesome. Great study guides!

Can you pass this class without doing the Hawkes Assignments?

MAN 3065 Dr. Rogers! Awesome human being, I wish there will be more instructors of his category. He provides all the necessary tools to succeed. Multiple choice questions exams, extra credit (optional) easy and always accessible. Quick grade information

Professor Rogers is excellent and extremely Helpful. I learned a lot. He gave us study guides, and gave us a grade report every time we had a test. Mr. Roger is a real Genleman.

The bachelors program needs more dedicated teachers like him. I admit that his statistics class is overwhelming, but he is a great teacher.

Mr. Miami Dade is a great professor. Do all the work and study the review and you will have an easy A. The business group need more professors like him.

Dr. Rogers is great, wish more professors were like him!!! The case studies are a pain only because there are so many of them, but they are interesting. Tests are great because he gives the best study guides you could ask for. Will take more business classes with him.

His texbook makes Business Stats easy, but his lab assignments do not match the book so they are very difficult!! You should take sta2023 instead...no lab requirements!

Guys, whether you are the hard worker in your group or the slacker - you may get the same grade but you won't get the same education. Rogers knows who works and who doesn't. He doesn't babysit either party but he is still my favorite professor at MDC!

Ive read some of the review n thats not totally truth ppl r just lazy...if he drops the hawkes assigments u r not gonna pass the last two tests thats for sure.....n u dont have to spent that many hrs in lab just if u want to do the ec...he is super helpful n his lectures r the type that u dont wanna miss n he also has funny moments... take him

Simply the best! Very respectful and caring. You will learn and not get stressed.

I was only able to get a 70 on the first test the rest failed and still managed to get an A. With all the extra credit from Hawks and additional extra credit. I do recommend him, do the book hw which you'll see the theory on every test. Test r easy don't freak out with all the stuff thaught in class he is easy on the tests except for the 3rd one.

He's an outgoing person, REALLY nice. It's not your typical kind of math but he makes it easy to understand and is ALWAYS willing to answer questions. Tests are like any math tests, you must know what you're doing, but he gives A LOT of xtra credit which can boost a D to an A, so you have to be dumb in order to fail. Lab is req and HW on each Chap

Very Smart Professor, knows the concept very well, in fact he wrote the text book we used in his class. He will answer all questions one has without a doubt. He is kind, and understanding, he gives extra credit, for additional effort, as long as you do you HW, go to lab, and review the study guides you will pass his class with a decent grade

take this sweetheart. the tests are complicated but possible if you are prepared. no tricks. 5 tests one optional final. bookwork which is mainly covered in class and hawkes hw that should be done in the lab. tons of extra credit. take him, only lazy people tht dont do e.c. do bad in class. he is really funy and nice. take him!

The best professor for stats. He is fair ,sweet and nice. If you want to make sure that you are going to pass the class, do all the extra credit.

If you need statistics, he is the best professor to take!!! He gives alot of extra credit and helps you get the best grade possible. His style of teaching is great and He is very understanding and knows people have other responsibilities besides school. He's funny and makes class interesting with stories! Take him! This professor really cares about his students. I'm not good at math at all and I failed most of his tests and still passed the class with the extra credit I did. I highly recommend taking him.

The course material is not easy but he gives so much extra credit you have to do absolutely nothing to fail this class. Great professor. Highly recommended!

He retired last semester and will truly be missed. Rogers was an amazing professor who would go beyond to help you, which is something not all teachers would do. Wish I could take him again. Thank you for all your help Prof. Rogers! MDC will miss you!

The best professor at Miami dade college. He makes everything easy and actually wants students to not only pass his class but also learn about how the real world is by giving you incentive on tests for putting effort. The hawkes can be long and overwhelming but the ones he doesn't teach will only counts as extra credit for the tests.

best teacher ever! you have no excuse to fail his class. He does not put pressure on students and gives tons and tons of extra credit . Even if you fail his test, you still end up getting an A with all the extra credit. definitely recommend.

I passed this class with an A by doing all the extra credit and I honestly learned more by looking up difficult concepts online and spent my time studying for exams doing the practice one. Spend alot of time on the paper at the end to boost your grade.
