She is a nice, interesting lady, but I do not care for her teaching style. Much of the lecture is spent putting tables up on the board that are already in the table. She gets really frustrated and flustered when people ask questions, and has a very difficult time answering them. It is very hard to know what will be on weekly quizzes.

Oberth's chemistry is extremely challenging. There is no dropped test or quiz, no extra credit, and every page of the text book is not only expected to be read, but memorized. Her quizzes are failed even by A students. I believe the majority of the class will fail or barely pass based on what I've heard.

Prof Oberth says she wants us all to understand and do well but she doesn't actually do anything to help us. Very hard to understand and doesn't like re-explaining things. She put me through hell
