A great history class to take and get that GenEd out of the way. He assigns lots of reading but what most students did was pay attention in class and that still got us good grades. Dr. Davis is a really nice teach and will work with you if you have a problem and actually tries to learn the names of his students. Over all good class and good teacher

He is not the right professor to be teaching a 1500 to present day WORLD HISTORY. As he focused only on AFRICA and extremly recent events. For tests he pulled verbatum quotes that he said. We had lots of readings and quizes in class. 2 main papers that he did offer help on but wanted you to write his opinion and to not stray from that.

Honestly, he is just annoying. He is pretty biased when it comes to politics and view of the world and it sometimes affects the way he teaches. SUPER lecture heavy and no notes are given to you.
