If you want to learn something in a fun environment, Dr. Hardigree is the professor to take. Be warned - you will not skate this class, but if you have a positive attitude and a willingness to keep up with class materials, the class is fantastic!
If you want to learn something for what you paid for, you definately want to take her class. Law itself is hard material, but she makes it very interesting and fun. And she's very helpful. She's even willing to meet with her students during weekends to help them. I really enjoyed her class.
Be prepared to learn. Ms Hardigree is very knowledgeable, and willing to share with everyone. She is in the real and it shows in her teaching. I received a passing grade, but will be retaking the class because Ms. Hardigree has encouraged me to learn rather than just get a diploma.
I thought it was big mistake to take this class when I heard the phrase "No degree with Hardigree" in the first day of the class. You have to read, and work hard to understand the materials. But you'll find Ms. Hardigree is very supportive and I promise you'll have a lot of fun in the class.
I too was slightly nervous when hearing the horror stories about "No Degree from Hardigree." I was pleasantly surprised though as the semester began and Hardigree began teaching. She is highly intelligent, and very interesting. The materials we covered were tough, I won't lie, and there was a lot
She was my favorite professor this semester. She is very tough but fair and enjoyable. Will take her again next semester for Employment Law!
She gives you all the material you will need for the tests. If you study the worksheets she provides you and read a bit you will do well. She is entertaining and very helpful.
Prof. Hardigree is one of the most dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed professors at UNLV. The course content is very hard; however, she explains every concept in great detail. She'll work with each student one-on-one, whatever it takes for the student to achieve understanding -take her class!
This is not an easy class but, when you finish you course, you will be amzed to find out what you acheived. One may be impressed by the way she motivate the student to stay on the track and to study hard. She takes care of and guides each student in her class. She has enthusiam for teaching student.
My first day in this class and I was ready to quit, but I stayed in there and found out that Hardigree is tough but she will inspire you to learn and get good grades. Don't be intimidated, she is a great professor and you will have no regrets
Professor Hardigree is without a doubt one of the best things UNLV has going for it. She is engaging, inspiring, fair, and consistent. She brings the subject matter to life. For those of you out there crying about how hard Hardigree is...please, go back to pre-school. Rock on Hardigree!
Hardigree, as a teacher, is very well versed in law and up to date on current events in legal matters in the area. This does bring the class to life. The material is not difficult but it is imperative to master the details ans nuances in order to pass the class.
Prof. Hardigree has been a huge help and motivation this semester. Of all the classes taken at UNLV, I haven learned the most from this one. They all say "Hardigree, no degree," but it's all in how much effort you put in. SHe does everything to help us better understand the course material.
well. it's so true that her class is tough. but guys! when you miss classes and not read class materials any class is hard. Don't blame on her, when you put your best efforts it will pay off. I loved class and even tested my ability.
Its a hard class, but Hardigree is an amazing professor and she really motivates you to do well.
Professor Hardigree is an incredible teacher. She makes each lecture fun and interesting. You will learn an amazing amount in her class. I would recommend her classes to anybody. Thanks, Professor Hardigree, for making the material innovative and keeping us laughing during the lectures..hehe!
She's Hard..don't take more then four classes when you take her or you won't pass! If you go to her office hours she will take alot of time with you to help you understand. Despite the rumors she wants you to pass, but you have to put ALOT of time in!!!
she is an incredible teacher although the class is one of the hardest. since she makes a lot of way to think and lead our decision. so, sure that her rumors is not fair. take the class, and challenge it!!
Excellent Teacher, a little tough, but she is a REAL college prof.
I took Dr. Hardigree's grad level Hotel Law and was completely blown away by her knowledge in the area. I loved that she challenged my mind and asked that I think of all possible ways to argue a case.
She is a wonderful teacher who ensure you learn!
AMAZING teacher---such a vast knowledge and grasp of subject--very approachable and INTERESTING lectures!
Love her she's great...But she's tuff...Thats why Alias is Hardigree NO DEGREE
She is wonderful. Her bark is worse than her bite, so don't get scared off. She's very funny, and makes the class interesting.
She is difficult because I don't think that she reads over her tests. Some of her questions can be interpreted in different ways so it is wise to question the questions and figure out what she wants you to learn.
No way, dont do it, take her class if u transfered from Harvard, if not u will loose all your hair studying for her test
Buckle up, this will be your hardest teacher ever; don't expect to be graded on effort either, she's ruthless.
She was the best professor by far in my undergrad experience. She knows her stuff and makes class interesting. It will not be an easy class, but will know the stuff when you are done. She is the reason I'm in law school now!
REALLY TOUGH!!! But by far the best prof at UNLV
UNLV is easy but this prof changes that. Hardigree is tough but MORE THAN FAIR. Study hard because the material is hard. She always their to help. Your grade reflects your effort. As a teacher CH is kind and thoughful toward her students. She doesnt take any**** and you shouldnt give her any because you are there to learn you dont know it all yet.
She is pretty hard, but as long as you do your work, you will pass the course. She is extremely funny and witty. By far the best professor ever!
She IS the best teacher in the department. Her class is very tough but she is always there to help you.Her class is worth taking but you have to study really hard. I mean that. You have to read the material everyday and show up every class. You'll learn a lot from her.
I don't know why students are so impressed that Hardigree makes this class hard. HELLO this is undergrad NOT law school. If you want to be a manager and not a lawyer take this class from another professor. You'll learn much more about the real world and less about what it feels like to be stuck in law school with a teacher on a power trip!
I think Prof. Hardigree is the coolest, smartest, and most interesting professor I have ever had. She is the first professor in four years of college that has challenged me. If anyone has any negative comments to make about her or her class has not put enough effort or is simply intimidated by doing college level work.
She's a difficult teacher but you will learn so much. You HAVE to do the reading everyday. You HAVE to study but I haven't learned this much before at this school as I did in this class. She is always willing to help to though!
Best professor in the Hotel College!! Very hard but fair. Extremely hard but I learned a lot!! She tells you what is on the test just make sure you know it inside and out. If you want an easy class go somewhere else.
she is the one of the hardest teacher i had before. But she is pretty smart. If you don't read the book, if you don't prepare for the next class, you don't understand. Very difficult to pass!
Hardigree is an awesome professor! first professor i've had that actually teaches and takes her job seriously. Yes, her class may be difficult and involves more "work", but if you do your reading everyday, review the notes online, and ATTEND her class, then it's really not that bad!
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Extremely hard - without the EC, I wouldn't have gotten an A. However, if you put in the effort, she is going to give you an understanding of law that that will help you not only in your hospitality career, but your personal life as well. Highly recommended.
Hardigree is tough, but awesome. You don't really need Blacks Law Dict., just use law websites. You have to go to class to learn, and you have to do the reading. She makes you learn the stuff, but she's cool to listen to, she is helpful and she knows her stuff. Make flashcards! Take the practice tests!
Hardigree is cool, she is really nice and she knows how to teach. You will have to work hard in this class and invest a lot of time studying, but YOU WILL LEARN. She knows exactly what she is talking about. Make flash cards and take the bonus quizzes and do all the online stuff and you'll do good. this will be the hardest class you'll ever take
Hardigree is tough, but the best prof I've ever had in UNLV!! she knows how teach, and she'll help u as much as she could, but it's u who has to ask for help. she's very fair too. if she sees u trying, she'll count that as well for ur grade. At first, it's a pain in the ass to do her assignments, but u'll get used to it, and it guarantees a B.
This class requires ALOT of reading. As long as you do the readings and write your briefs on cases you will be fine. In preperation for tests i recommend doing hardigrees reviews and practice tests then review your own printed and written notes. She is an amazing teacher and it would be silly for you to not take her.
I had Lady Hardigree for HMD401/402... all things considered - by far, the BEST professor I've had at UNLV (feels like Palm Beach). If you're lazy and/or other things I can't say, do yourself a favor and don't enroll in her class. Never had a class before that made me realize how little I know - refreshing... see you in Beverly Hills ;-)
This is the second class I have taken with Hardigree. This is her first time teaching an online course and she is doing amazingly. However I have two recommendations: 1) Take Hospitality Law before taking Employment law 2) Take her in person! She is far too funny to not have her in person. If you need the convience of online, its hard but good.
She is very hard, her tests are lengthly and she tricks you. There are True/False paragraphs and there is one word that is wrong. This is not law school. But she does know her stuff. She really does care about the students. Fun class.... if I wasn't getting graded.
Very hard class, and even worse if you get on her bad side!!! Reading and keeping up with the class is a must and the exam are impossible. Learn a ton, but your grade will be terrible. Take this with someone easier unless you dont care about getting a bad grade.
She dedicates so much time to her students. Ask her for help, she is more than happy to help you. Yes, it's a difficult course. It's a 400 level HMD Law course. I learned more than I ever have in any other class. The tests are rough, but she is not a 'straight to the numbers' person and will work with you based on your efforts and improvement
If you're lazy and just looking for an A, choose someone else. However, if you want to learn something out of your UNLV experience, take her. Definitely the best teacher at UNLV... and be ready to work.
I'm graduating in December and have BSd my way through college... If you've done the same, please note that you CANNOT do that with Professor Hardigree! I worked harder on this one class then all of my other classes combined but it is worth it. Her teachings can be applied to everything you ever do if you pay attention. Do the work and you'll pass.
only grades by test
Fair. Hard, but fair. She expects 10 hours of work a week and she's not joking. Its alot of work
Having trouble losing weight?! Finding yourself getting too much sleep?!! Well this is the PERFECT CLASS for you!! Lose up to 15 pounds in 3 weeks, GUARANTEED!! Sleep only 4 hours a day for 2 hours at a time throwing your whole biological clock out of whack!! All this can be yours if you sign up now!! And the best part is you can repeat the class!!
Suicidal class, especially if you take it in summer. But it is the BEST class I ever taken in UNLV, it totally change my perspective of the school, extremely knowledgeable teacher. VERY HARD and VERY FAIR. Don't ever think about cheating of BSing, it would just be a waste of your time. I got an A in this class, it is POSSIBLE to do well.
Amazing teacher! You will have to work to EARN your grade she will not just fork it over. Sure shes tuff but shes fair. Be prepared to stuy, work hard, ask questions and READ THE BOOK! Also use webcampus its there as a tool her notes are amazing and make law seem possible to understand. I give her ***** 5 stars! Take law with Professor Hardigree!
Amazing professor. Yes, she's tough. But she is incredibly helpful and so full of knowlege it's unbelievable. The stories she has are extremely interesting and industry-related. Plus, she's absolutely hilarious! Take this class with Hardigree!!!!!!
I hightly recommend her if you really want to learn. She is awsome!!Her major strenght is knowledge. She really cares that the students learn. A lot of reading but very fair tests. The class is not boring at all.. Best professor at UNLV!!
This is by far the best professor at UNLV. For the first time in my college career, I was challenged. Professor Hardigree is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and has unmeasurable industry-related experience. I can also guarantee you will never get bored in the class. Remember though, STUDY!!! I took 5 other classes same semester and still achieved an A.
Professor Hardigree finally did something that so many professors at UNLV couldn't do: challenge me! I learned and retained more in the course of 3 weeks than I have in all my other hospitality classes combined! She is tough but most importantly she is fair. Best advice: read, ask questions, study, take notes, and listen. Great class!!!
This was by far my most difficult class at UNLV, but by far the BEST!! She does a a great job at challenging students. I barely passed the class, but have never learned so much in my life. thank you!!
Hottest Professor I've Ever Had! I Wish I Knew Her In The 80'S!
Hands down the best teacher I've had at UNLV, and Top 5 in my life. Hardigree is not for slackers or GPA junkies. She will work you hard and and without too much compassion (she does give bonus points on the exams though). She is a true professional at what she does and her passion for her career and teaching will be reflected in lecture. Do it
Hardigree is def one of the best prof I have ever had!!!! Yes the MATERIAL can be difficult at times but she is always willing to help and give plenty of examples so that everyone understands. As long as you keep up with the reading and make flash cards you should be fine. It wasnt always easy but I still got an A! TAKE HER!! SHES THE BEST!!!
Professor Harddigree is one of best professor I have ever had. Although it was not easy at all, but i had learned alot from her. Her test is fair, she did discussed all the material before test. So i won't compalin at all even i can't get a good grade. Great teacher!
SHE IS A VERY GOOD PROFESSOR WHICH CLARIFY THE PROBLEMS THAT STUDENTS HAVE VERY WELL.SHE HELPS ME UNDERSTAND LAWS MORE AND MAKE IT FUN.SHE IS JUST AWESOME ^^
she is a very goood teacher. BUT...student have to work hard on this class....otherwise u will fail..btw, u can learn a lot on this class..
Her reputation of "No Degree, Hardigree" is false only if you don't care about your education. You get what you put into it and she rewards you accordingly. She is a wealth of knowledge and makes law fun and interesting....by far better than Braunlich! She is one of the best teachers I have had at this University by far, Honestly.
She is a really great professor that made the dry material become so much more interesting and clear with her explanation. To say the truth, I enjoy her lectures a lot and she makes a big effort to explain the otherwise confusing terms. She is great to learn from, but you really have to work hard for the grade!
She is so knowledgeable, whether the questions are within the class scope or outside of the range, she can answer all of them completely and clearly. It is the material that is hard, not she! However, she gives us very clear instruction on each of the concepts. Once you follow the syllabus and read through completely, you should get an A.
The best professor! The no degree Hardigree rumor, all false. This is not an easy class but as long as you read for each class and prepared you will come out w/ a good grade. I would take Hardigree again without any hesitation.
At first, I was not looking forward to this class but Hardigree makes this dry material seem interesting. She is very insightful and will tell you stories about hotels that you wont find in the newspaper. If you do not keep up with the reading or attend class, you will fail. If this class is madatory to take, take it with Hardigree.
Hardigree no Degree, so the rumor goes...! Hardigree exudes an extremely the epitome of resourcefulness, knowledge and expertise in her field as she make dry material palatable and comprehensible. She makes herself accessible to ALL students in or out of class who wish to gain a better understanding of the materials and what is expected of them.
Hardigree is definitely the professor to consider if you are serious about your education. You should expect to do some real college level work to complete her course successfully. She has no sympathy for students who are looking for an easy way out. However, if you show your interest and make your best effort to comprehend the material she will he
Hardigree is one of the best professors in UNLV. It is a law class, so it is not a eassy class at all. However,if you read all the material she assign, u will be fine. By taking her class, u will learn alot knowledge..
I think she is one of the best professor in teaching hotel law at the UNLV because what you learn in her class is practical in the hotel field. In her tests, she gives us a lot of applicable situations in hospitality industry that we are going to use in the real world. This is very important for all of us to know because it is a part of requirement
good professor., not an easy class but its a fun class. Read your syllabus carefully. overall, it's a great class.
If you're lacking in motivation, go back to high school. If you're willing to put in time and effort as a college student should, you'll get a lot out of this class for your personal and professional future. Professor Hardigree's interesting, witty lectures make the dry textbook reading worthwhile.
Hardigree is a beautiful woman, super smart, and cool. She knows her material extremely well , however, she is quite tough, and even if this is college, she sometimes goes a bit too far IMO.
Dr. Hardigree is by far one of the best professors in UNLV. Her class while not easy, is by far the most exciting, engaging class that I have ever taken at UNLV. She is very, very smart and knows her stuff. If you do not take her, you will probably regret it in the future. Very smart, competent, engaging, far above average professor. Take her!!!!!
She is the best professor ever! She is extremely helpful and really smart. You can really trust her and she will be there when you need help. She gives you the tools and you just have to put some effort. If you want to learn and earn your degree take her!
One of the best professors if not the best professor at UNLV! She is challenging dont get me wrong but if you study and come to class prepared you will do just fine.
No Degree "Hardigree". do not take her. she has this attitude and she thinks shez the best law class professor. take Cotham!
She did not respond quickly when I e-mailed her. The worst professor I've ever had.
Dr. Hardigree has successfully delivered me the hardest class I?ve taken in 4 years at UNLV. I will admit that the first three weeks of the semester I did not put in the effort in studying that I should have, but after that, I dedicated myself to this class. She treats this class like it is in law school not undergrad. Avoid her at all costs!
By far the most difficult class I have ever taken, the most studying I've had to do..IN YEARS. However, I did learn a lot in this class and Mrs. Hardigree is quite an entertaining professor, she is also very fair.
TAKE this professor! You won't regret it. She is intelligent, funny, and engaging. Does she expect a lot? Most definitely. But you will want to succeed for her! This was the most challenging class I've taken at UNLV, and I learned more than most of my other classes combined. She makes you want to sit up and pay attention.
By far the best college class I have taken! I have never been so excited about passing a class!! She is truly the best at what she does, she will keep you interested every class so even though mandatory attendance is not required, GO!! She's willing to help you on whatever way she can! Take Christian Hardigree!!
The name speaks itself. Dr. Hardigree is for sure tough teacher. She wants you to be a descent student who knows much stuff. I barely passed her class last semester, and actually sent her a thanking note. Hard professor, but nice person.
Of course the class is tough, but if you're willing to put in the effort, she is willing to help you. I wouldn't take anyone else for law, I felt like I learned so much, and her classes are by no means boring. Its a lot of information, be prepared to do the work, but she is fair when it comes to grading and everything
One of the best professors I've had at UNLV. The course is hard, no doubt but she will guide you. Listen to every word she says in class because nothing she says is not important. She uses real life examples from recent events as well as real cases from the past to help students understand the legal elements being discussed. Take her, no regrets!
THIS TEACHER IS VERY FAIR IN HER GRADING. ATTEND CLASS AND YOU WILL PASS. CLASS IS VERY INTERESTING. THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU SHOULDN'T PASS THE CLASS AND LEARN A LOT!!!!
Great teacher if you are trying to pass the bar. However if your major is not law. Do not take if you want to pass the first time. Great expierence stories and she's a nice lady. She belongs teaching law in a law school. not to non related majors.
