Christian is very knowledgeable and is passionate about teaching his students. His tests are intense and coverage of the material is fair. He could be more organized as far as alerting students to changes of due dates/class structure but first time teaching this specific class. Love that he gauges the class for pace and asks for feedback. Take him!

The sweetest, most awesome person I've interacted with in my 4 years of college. Always taking feedback from students & really trying to make this an enjoyable class for everyone. This is an intense course, but Chris is always available to help with his extensive knowledge! We also opportunity for up to 20 points extra credit (out of 500 total) :)

Took NUTR 203, great professor, slightly Eccentric wich makes him funny. Love the class as a KINE major.

One of my favorite professors ever. He makes me really excited to come to class. He's fun but I still learn a lot and while you still need to study for the exams they are well thought out and the answers come directly from the material. He also cares a lot about class input and will change things the class has a problem with.

Chris is so sweet, funny, caring, intelligent, just take every positive adjective out of the dictionary and it probably applies to him! He's essentially the human embodiment of a golden retriever, just with more intellect :) - He is so passionate and enthusiastic about what he teaches that it really makes class fun!

Chris was one of the best professors that I've had at A&M. His testing and quizzing style is very simple and he's doesn't try to trick you with oddly worded questions. He'll always grade in your favor and he gives out a large amount of bonus points throughout the semester. TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU CAN!!!

I truly enjoyed having Professor Lynch this semester. It was by far my favorite class and I always enjoyed attending the lectures. He cares for his students and is also very passionate about nutrition which made the class fun. I appreciated how he asked for feedback FROM THE STUDENTS which most profs don't do. Best professor, would definitely take another class by him! He's very passionate about what he teaches, which makes lecture super interesting. He's also an amazing person who really cares about his students. There are three projects total, which are not hard or time consuming. As for exams, you do have to study but his goal is not to trick you!

Christian is a very good Professor, very funny and makes class interesting. However attendance isn't "mandatory", but there are like 8 pop quizzes throughout the semester which you can't miss if you want the grade you desire. Overall a really great class!

Please take Professor Lynch for 202!!! There is one project and four tests that make up your grade. He has never assigned homework, but does assign "pop" quizzes. Most of his test content comes straight from the slides which are very straight forward. He continuously asks the class for feedback on how to make the hour as productive as possible.

Yall please take Chris if you need to take nutrition!! He is amazing, and this was one of the only classes I actually looked forward to. There are pop quizzes but nothing hard, mostly taken straight from the slides he taught in classes, same with tests. He is also really good at lectures, remembered everything he said. Easy A!

I love Dr. Lynch. He's an amazing professor and he genuinely cares about your education. Attendance is not mandatory but you have to go to class if you want to do well. He has pop quizzes and sometimes talks about things that aren't on the slide. Grade is 4 exams, pop quizzes, and an a project. I highly recommend this class.

Christian is by far the favorite professor Ive had here! He makes lectures fun and interesting and he is very passionate about what he teaches. The criteria for whats covered on the test is easy to follow so if you study the slides and do well on the quizzes its an easy A.

His class caught me off guard for sure with the pop quizzes. But his lectures are clear and easy to follow along. Christian really cares for his students and is always willing to make time for you. Not many grades and it's important to pay attention, but I was able to finish with an A with his help. Would definitely take again.

Greatest professor I ever had. His lectures were engaging every time. Even though he does not take attendance, he does do pop quizzes and every thing he talks about is free game on quizzes and exams. So I highly recommend going to class. He actually interacts with all of his students and does not make the course boring.

Excellent Prof, his lectures were very engaging and he is a very passionate professor. He does not take attendance however, he gives pop quizzes. These pop quizzes force you to know the content and it forces you to learn. He is also very understanding, and gives many extra credit opportunities.

Christian is the funniest and most caring professor I've ever and will ever have. His humor makes lectures that much more enjoyable and easy to learn. Sometimes will give pop quizzes. No homework, no reading. I seriously learned so much from him and he/his class were highlight of my day and I don't like school.He is just amazing teacher and person!

Dr. Lynch offers many extra credit opportunities throughout the semester and is a very understanding professor. There are pop quizzes throughout the semester that are fairly easy and are based on what you learn from lecture, so I would try to attend class (he does make it worth it)!

Hes very interacting and likes to throw i in jokes to his students. Makes his class interesting. I recommend this professor if you are looking to take a NUTR 202 class.

In regards to the previous comment, Christian gives us two quizzes out of the seven to be dropped. no matter if its because it was missed or you scored low. your friend should be aware of those expectations. Dr.C is amazing just hard on that any material that he verbalizes is free to be tested on

Take Dr. Lynch! He is so funny and truly cares about the students. His tests are based up pretty much entirely of the slides, but there are a few questions about things he mentions in class. Make sure to study a little bit after every class though because there are pop quizzes throughout the semester. Overall, he is prob my favorite prof at A&M!!!!

I absolutely loved Christian and this class, he makes what is expected of you very clear. There are 4 exams worth 400 points, an infographic worth 50 points, and 7 quizzes with 2 dropped (so really 5) worth 50 points. Go to class and you will do fine in this course. The quizzes are pop quizzes but they're fairly easy! TAKE THIS COURSE!!!

Christian was the best professor I have had at A&M. He truly cares and wants you to learn. There is no homework and he drops your lowest quizzes. Also, lots of extra credit. The only hard part was there was a lot of material on the tests, but he made the class very fun! He is the best! I wish I could take him again.

This dude is so funny. If you need an elective or if this class is required, take him. He is the best professor I've ever had, the only thing people get mad about is his pop quizzes. Christian is my favorite professor I have ever had. I had him spring 2023, and man let me tell you. He was amazing!! His lectures are so engaging, easy to follow even when the material can be somewhat dense. He doesn't do homework like at all. I'm currently in A&P 1, and i feel extremely prepared in the nutrition aspect of this class. Def Recommend

Christian is the best professor at Texas A&M. Very informative and practices what he preaches. He was funny and his lectures were entertaining. He also fostered an engaging learning environment and questions/discussion were alway encouraged. He cares more about your learning than your grade. Very quiz heavy and exam heavy. I found it difficult.

Was a great guy and genuinely loves what he lectures about so it makes it really interesting. As long as you show up to class and study the powerpoints, you should be good.

Mr. Lynch is the best professor ever! He is very funny and passionate about what he teaches. This is a relatively easy class if you attend and take notes. There are pop quizzes- drops two of the lowest grades. He also has lots of opportunity for extra credit. Tests are easy if you take good notes and study way beforehand.

I loved Lynch! He makes lecture funny, and clearly explains what will be on each exam. Majority of exams are straight from lecture slides, so just memorize. One project, 7 quizzes but drops 2, and four exams with no final. Make sure you review material after class so that you can do well on quizzes. Overall loved the class and the best prof!

I just took him this fall of 2023 and I really liked his class. He gives good lectures and makes the class interesting. He grades fairly, but you are going to have to memorize a lot of information.

AMAZING prof, he teaches so well and I actually retain the info! There's pop quizzes and he says important info during lecture so it's important to show up. He gives a lot of extra credit randomly though. Exams are straightforward, just study the slides+extra info he verbally expressed. He cares about his students and their education a lot.

Genuinely an amazing professor. He's super passionate about what he teaches and makes it entertaining along the way. Pop-quizzes every few Fridays but they keep you accountable for the class. Exams are 80% so make sure you're prepared. Not extremely difficult but you have to know the information to get by. Offers a lot of extra credit so be there!

Christian is by far the nicest prof I've had at A&M. Cares very much about students learning all will take time to meet with you 1 on 1 during office hours.

Your grade is pretty much just made up of exams and pop quizzes (in class). You have to put in the effort to get a good grade but his class is entertaining. He curved my 74 to a B at the end without me even asking! I found the exams to be difficult as there is no study guide or assignments to help you learn the material.

Kind of an interesting dude, his lectures are relatively entertaining and tests are really easy if you take good notes in lecture. Some of his test questions are based off of things that he verbally says rather than lists on slides. He also has a habit of using pop quizzes based and sometimes takes attendance for bonus points.

Dr. Lynch is definitely the best prof ive ever had. he was so funny and engaging during his lectures and I always looked forward to his class. Definitely go to class since there are pop quizzes (5 q's) and bonus point opportunities. All quizzes and tests are lockdown browser in class and he is very strict on cheating. other than that amazing guy!!!

HYSTERICAL guy. Stole a students sparkling water on the first day of class and acted like nothing happened. The Pop quizzes do suck tho bc they'll come up randomly and sometimes happen twice in a week. Tests aren't bad, just make sure you know the stuff to a tee bc just having a surface idea of the content will only get you a C on the exams.

Lynch was awesome, had good but ranty lectures. He emphasizes in class what slides and information you need to know for the test. Pop quizzes that are a bit hard but not terrible, extra credit, 4 tests, and one infographic assignment. Not a blow-off class, but if you put the effort in you'll get an A.

Christian was an awesome professor and made lectures entertaining while prioritizing the students learning. He was super easy to talk to and made sure that I was in a position to succeed whenever I was struggling in his class. I bet you that I giggled at least once each class at something he said. I loved this class with Lynch. He was so engaging and the material itself was so interesting. I'd take this class again just for the fun of it. Yes you do have to study to do good, but Lynch gives you everything you need in order to be successful.

I loved Christian, he made an early morning class worth getting up for. Your grade is based on your tests for the most part, and there is one project. Attendance is not mandatory but GO TO HIS CLASS bc he outlines everything you need to know for the tests! There are no test reviews and he has pop quizzes but they are all easy if you pay attention.

I found this class pretty manageable since it's graded by 4 tests (none cumulative) and 7 pop quizzes (he drops the lowest 2). Show up to class since he gives extra credit! I would recommend studying for pop-quizzes since they can affect your grade if you do poorly. All questions are very surface level and study what he places emphasis on!

Took him for an online course over summer while taking BICH 411.I was worried about taking 2 summer courses at the same time, but his lectures were awesome base material that helped me along in BICH 411! It's self-paced, I took exams with similar material around the same time. Pre-recorded lectures, fair quizzes + tests. 30 bonus pts. Closed note!

He offers extra credit for attending class, and his lessons go beyond nutrition, providing valuable real-world health info. He's approachable, fair, and genuinely cares about his students.

I thought this was a fine class. Pay attention and you'll do very well. He does pop quizzes, so try and make it to every class you can. He tends to go off on tangents from time to time but mostly draws his question directly from the slides.

If you want to laugh the entire class this is the one to take because he's seriously hilarious and makes class so enjoyable. Awesome Prof., If you go to class and take good notes you will get an A. We had like 10 random pop quizzes and the 2 lowest get dropped, questions are pretty straight forward and simple. No homework, just quiz and test, also one project that takes like an hour to do.

AMAZINGGG prof y'all. My grade isn't great because I was learning study habits and am not the best at memorization, but if you come to class, take good notes, and study well, you will do just fine. I enjoy his class so much. It is so clear he wants students to do well and cares about their learning. Wish I could've chosen more of the positive tags!

VERY little to be graded on. One project, 4 tests (in person, on computer), pop quizzes, no final. States what should be highlighted for the test in the lectures. Hilarious, but can be mean if you're interrupting class. After 4 test, class is over, don't have to go back. Gives extra credit, but you have to go to class to get it. Worth it.

really nice guy, can tell he's passionate, but his makeup exam is cumulative, so don't get sick, and he claims everything on the exams is on the slides, but it is not, so if you don't take notes on something he says during a lecture, there is a really good chance it will randomly pop up again on the exam. def not easy, but manageable

The class was very simple: 4 exams (no final), 7 pop quizzes (but he drops the 2 lowest scores), and one super easy infographic assignment. He gives out around 25 bonus points a semester for just going to class, so I recommend attending. His tests are pretty straightforward as long as you know the material and lectures.

Exam heavy, find good ways to study. Just writing notes won't help unless it's directly off of the slides, or you have an amazing memory. Try to combine all your notes or organize them into a series of quizlets. Professor is funny and caring, but take him seriously.

However YOU MUST GO TO CLASS, a lot of what is on the exams are said in class and he has pop quizzes so if you don't go you're cooked.
