Awesome professor! Super helpful and nice. I'd love to have another class with him.
Doesn't seem to know anything not directly in the textbook. Some of what he says is out of date and plain wrong!
A great professor who knows his stuff and is willing to talk with any student about course material or career advice. I would take a class with him again.
He really enjoys teaching; always a plus. Uses lots of examples, sometimes you randomly have to name bacteria on exams. Otherwise exams are very fair. He's helpful, knows his stuff.
Pretty hard class, but his tests were right out of the notes and he was very willing to help when I talked to him out of class.
He's excited about everything he has to teach you, and his lectures are open to questions. He does well to facilitate active participation lectures, his slides are avialble on-line but some of the information is removed so you come to class. He also walks through the lab sections and helps out. Tests are based on slides, yet challenging.
Probably the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life.
His tests are hard, but I have learned a lot in this class. You have to go to class and take notes. Test 2 is hard, but 1 and 3 have been reasonable. Lab is not hard. The lecture is 60% and lab is 40% of your grade. If you attend lecture and study you should be able to get atleast a B. If you need help ask and he is very willing.
Enthusiastic professor who knows his material very well. His tests are mainly fill-in-the-blank and require a large amount of preparation, but are easily manageable if you use notecards to study. His lectures each have an outline that you can print off before class, and all test questions are taken directly from his lecture notes.
A great teacher. Willing to look more into any topic that he doesn't know about. Very friendly and willing to answer questions.
He was an excellent professor. Print out his slide outlines before you come to class! He leaves parts blank so you can fill them in, which was quite helpful for me. I only used the textbook to look up tables and figures, nothing else. I would definitely take one of Mohr's classes again.
Easily my favorite class I've taken. He's extremely enthusiastic and willing to help. The tests are hard but all information is given on his slides so if you study, you will do well. Lab is fun, too.
This class is so interesting! Just print out the notes, you'll be so thankful you did. Doesn't cover anything on tests he did not talk about. Fair grader. A little strange and a little rude when you ask him a question one on one, but otherwise pretty good! One of my favorite classes at the U!
Dr. Mohr is a phenomenal lecturer. He always came to class well-prepared and his enthusiasm for the subject helped spark interest in the material. His exams tested some pretty fine details, but if you take good notes and memorize the powerpoint slides you should not have a problem getting an A.
Professor Mohr is knows how to teach and provoke students into understanding what he is talking about. Also very passionate (with a sense of humor) about his own subject, he makes the material interesting. Not much book use, lab can be a little ambiguous. Great lecture though.
I like him a lot! He is well prepared and definitely knows what he is talking about. I find him very easy to understand and clear about the topic we are discussing. He grades his exams pretty hard, because he is picky. But overall, I think it helps me in the long run. I find this class very easy and helpful in my career. don't take him if ur whiny
Very difficult to keep up with....would never recommend in enrolling in this class during the short summer...his tests were hard...and scoring was very anal and unfair...interesting course by all means but expectations were set very high for being an introduction level course. No curve was applied as well which was ridic. for the difficulty of cour
Take this class if you can. He is one of the best biology teachers out there. He is straight forward, no tricks. He is great at lecturing and crystal clear. The class requires work, but if you work hard you can get the grade you want. Very interesting class too.
His personality is zero and his jokes are lame. However, the tests are all based off his lectures exclusively, unless he mentions a table or figure that you should know. His exams are difficult, because they are extremely detailed oriented! So, either you need good note taking skills or a recorder.....then memorize everything he say's, for an A.
He is very very specific on what questions he asks on the tests. There is no need to buy the textbook because everything comes from his lec notes. But look at tables in the book if he mentions it. He makes dumb jokes and is rude at times. Also, he doesn't curve the class. If you can remember everything from his lecture notes, you'll get an A!
Mohr knows what he is talking about and is very prepared for lectures. His test are very hard, and stress memorization of topics covered in class. The text book is only needed to look at diagrams discussed in lecture. Mohr comes off very rude when answering questions and is a little odd, but you can learn a lot from the course.
Easily the best lecturer I've encountered so far at the U. He keeps the students engaged and is really helpful and friendly when asked questions. His exams are difficult even if you study, but a B is easily manageable and an A is definitely possible provided you put the time in. The lab is a bit ambiguous, but very easy compared to BIOL 2004.
Figure out a good way to memorize and regurgitate the lecture slides on the test and you will get a good grade. No need to read the book other than a few diagrams. If you have taken foundations the lab is a walk through.
This class will suck the life out of you if you want to do well. It's not impossible to get an A, but you have to use your memory skills to the fullest capacity! Don't start studying 2-3 days before the exam and expect to get an A or B, unless you are a genius. This class will take a lot of your time, at least 20 hours per week so plan accordingly
Lab is fun and will boost your grade quite a bit. The lecture exams are really difficult. You really do need to pretty much memorize every word he says. That said, you can do well if you study hard. Mohr himself is a nice guy if you make an effort to talk to him, but he can be a little intimidating and seem unapproachable at first.
Dr. Mohr is a fantastic professor! He is passionate about microbiology and likes to go on tangents. His jokes are corny but funny. He goes into thorough detail that students need to keep up with to do well on the tests. Notecards help, but you need to dig deeper for his tests. Lab is super fun too and a good grade booster! FAVORITE class but hard!
Dr. Mohr is over all a good prof. You can easily get an A in his class if you put in the effort. All you need to do is use his power points to memorize the material. Now to the bad side. He is rather rude and unapproachable if you run into any difficulty in his class. He easily becomes hostile when approached for help. Better ask your TA for help
Dr. Mohr seems like a nice guy, and he's good at lecturing, but his tests are brutal and if you are in the lab section of the class he makes it even worse on you. Considering how hard his tests are and that there is no curve even though you get different quizzes in the lab, I do not recommend this professor. Mohr makes this class unbearable.
Simply stated, he expects you to know everything covered in lecture. Take VERY detailed notes on his slides and memorize your notes. The textbook is not really needed, although I found it helpful in clarifying some of the lectures. I learned a tremendous amount in his class, and I would highly recommend Dr. Mohr.
This class should be called "random facts about bacteria, with a few fungi and protists thrown in there"; his tests involve tiny details and rarely does he do anything involving the big picture of microbiology. His lecturing could be ordered better. Do not take the class if you don't have to!
Terrible experience. I came into this class loving microbiology only to come it hating it. The way that he teaches can only be described as idiotic, completely memorization-based and absolutely nothing that would require thinking. So if you can memorize word-for-word what he says in class, you can pass. But will you learn anything? No, not really.
Everything he tests on he covered in lecture; the hard part is just studying & memorizing all the material. Mohr is very intelligent & passionate about micb. If you want an easy A you will be disappointed. If you truly want to learn a lot, be challenged, & become knowledgeable about microbes and their real world application I highly recommend Mohr.
DON'T SKIP CLASS. Print out the lecture slides, take them to class, and take good notes. Then study those notes for roughly 10-15 hours and memorize everything before each exam. That's what it takes to get at least a B in this class. Dr. Mohr's exams are based exactly off of what he lectures. Very time consuming. MEMORIZE EVERYTHING
simply take another a micro class in another department, do not take him. you need to dedicate all of you time to this class and will still likely not get an A. Unless it's the only class your'e taking, you most likely will not have enough time to study to do as well as you can. material is not hard, just time consuming to MEMORIZE. thats all
He was a great professor. Everything he tests on are from the slides and lectures, so attendance is crucial. It's pretty easy after the first two tests to figure out what he's looking for, so analyze his corrections carefully. Lots of details, but most of the material is really interesting. Very helpful if you need it, but DON'T ask about grades!!!
Dr. Mohr is very knowledgeable about microbio. He loves this class and spends a lot of time preparing for it. However, he is not always the nicest or most understanding person when you talk to him or ask for help. You have to go to class or else you'll miss really important material. His exams are straight from lecture. Tough but enjoyable class.
He is unapproachable and anal about grading, feels like he does not want his student to succeed because of how he grades. Also wants minute and unimportant details to be memorized.
The exams ask for every little details that he talks about in class, making it the worst science class I had ever taken (and I am a Bio major). Also, make sure you got all the pictures/figures/tables and captions memorized (textbooks). The lab is lots of work and boring, 5/30 people in my lab dropped out after a month.
This professor really knows microbiology inside and out, but he is not the nicest. You basically need to memorize every single thing from his lectures in order to get a decent grade. I studied very hard and never missed a lecture and still got a C. I normally get A's. The class was interesting and lab was really fun, but the tests were hard.
The least professional and most abrasive teacher I've had at the U. All smiles while lecturing, but its an act. In person and over email he is rude, priggish, impatient and downright mean. Both TA's and other students all have horror stories about him. Avoid at all costs. For success: memorize every word he says in lecture and dont read the book.
Study everything from the slides and go to class! Textbook is there as a reinforcer, nice to have but not completely necessary. Also, take take the class with the lab. Lecture only course is based strictly on 4 exams and he doesn't curve. I wish I had.
The hardest, challenging, but most interesting class that I have ever taken. Dr. Mohr is crystal clear and engaging. Exams are tough, spelling counts, and no curve. Lab complements lectures. Between the two, there is no break in this class - quiz, exam, or lab report every week. If you put in time, you will learn a lot and an A is doable.
Dr. Mohr is an excellent teacher! He's clear in lecture and on what he expects you to know. Class requires memorization and understanding concepts. Exam format: multiple choices, fill in the blank, drawings and essays. No credit if you can't spell! Pre-requisites not absolutely necessary but helpful. Requires lots of hard work to get an A.
Textbook not 100% needed but it did help clear up and reinforce some key concepts. Memorize the slides you should be fine and be at least getting high B's on his tests. In general, he's all right dude, but can become confrontationalnasty if you ask for a regrade. He almost accused me of changing my answer after the test (I didn't). Still got an A!
Dr. Mohr is a great professor! He is very knowledgeable and definitely has a passion for teaching. He will make you work your hardest for that grade, but he knows who works for it and who slacks. If you show that you're genuinely interested and work hard, you'll be in good shape. Be warned though, you absolutely will not pass if you skip.
Not very approachable but is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the material. Will make you work for your grade!!! Take very detailed notes during his lectures and the book is not required. For exams: requires very detailed answers and labeled diagrams with perfect spelling. Lab goes along with lectures and is a definite grade booster!!!
Really hard professor, it seems like he just bombards you with information. I mean that in the nicest way possible, he is very knowledgeable and willing to help out a student if he sees you're genuinely putting in effort. tl;dr - don't skip class, he doesn't post lecture slides and you'll have to bum them off a friend. Just, don't.
4 test. Mainly fill in the black and written, some multiple choice questions. Tests require a LOT of memorization. Quite picky for answers on written. Tests are lecture based, never skip lecture. He only provides partial complete slides. Lab is fun, but a lot of writing, two 9-page reports, lab notebook. Will require a LOT of work for an A.
Great lecturer and super interesting class, but a super hard A. Tests were extremely tough - basically had to memorize everything on every slide presented. You have to go to class to get the notes, and don't bother reading unless he explicitly says to in class. Lab was a ton of work, but was what helped bring me to an A in the class.
I thoroughly enjoyed having Dr. Mohr as a professor for Microbio. Though his tests are as difficult as everyone says, ie memorize everything on his slides, he is more than fair at grading. Making notecards is a great way to study for his tests. Lab was fun! Lab quizzes require intense studying, don't write them off as a "quiz". Overall good class.
Good teacher who cares about his teaching. However, for people who aren't majoring in micb, the information is incredibly detailed and hard to see much use for. Memorize everything for exams, including bacterium he may only show one picture of and make sure you can spell out every acronym.
Dr. Mohr is a clear lecturer, engaging, and puts outlines of his slides on Moodle so you can follow along. But you can't miss class because his slides are missing information. Tough grader and really tough tests. A lot of work, but it's a 5 credit course with lab included. Available for office hours and help. Don't read the book unless he says so.
I have to say that he is a good professor who has very fun classes, however, the exams are horrible. Note cards will be helpful but to get a better grade you have to remember every word he mentioned in class. If this is an S-N based course I'd happy to take it, but it's relative, not easy to get an A in this class.
very dense lectures and his voice naturally puts you to sleep. but he genuinely cares about the content and about his students. very open to questions, both about lecture and related material
He's engaging and passionate. He is the worst test giver and grader out there. His tests are full of things he barley mentions in lectures. You have to memorize everything he says and MAYBE you'll get a C, which is a good grade in his eyes. To get an A.. well memorize everything even little things he barley talks about. The tests are essay mostly.
He's really nice, and you can tell he enjoys teaching. The class requires a lot of work, but the material isn't difficult to understand. What makes the class difficult is the amount of information you have to know. Memorize the slides and you'll be fine
Not only is this course extremely time consuming, unfortunately this professor does little to help students succeed. In addition, if he decides he doesn't like you he is unwilling to help. I heard him tell a girl in my class that she was a bad student and he told another student that they should consider a career that doesn't involve microbiology.
Seems nice during lecture. Knowledgable, but unapproachable. Tends to be disrespectful 1 on 1. Can be abrasive and demeaning. Memorize every word that comes out of his mouth. Difficult grader. Open ended questions, so he can justify taking away points unequally between students.
Professor Mohr was a very charismatic professor who really enjoyed his lectures and had fun giving them. While his tests and lab course were very challenging, it was a very interesting class that was worth the effort, in my opinion.
Lab is super fun. This class is your typical college course, intense and test heavy. I enjoyed it but if you don't memorize every slide from lectures, you won't do well on the exams. It's engaging material if you have an interest in microbiology. You'll spend a lot of time on this class and for lab, be prepared. Study heavily for the tests
Dr. Mohr is a nice guy, but he's a very tough grader. No curve in this class, and the tests are incredibly detailed. Memorize EVERYTHING on the lecture slides, and if he says to read a specific section in the book, READ IT because it will be on the test. It is possible to get a good grade in this class but be prepared to put in a lot of effort.
Dr. Mohr was probably the best professor I've had at the U. His lectures are easy to follow and test questions are taken directly from them. You have to go to class and you have to know a lot of material for the tests (they're tough), but they're fair to what he teaches in class - no curveballs. He's a funny guy and super passionate about MICB
Class is very heavy on memorization. He is a good lecturer but can be very impersonal. Since he is the only current instructor for MICB 3301 you get him for better or for worse if you have to take the class, but if you are looking to take MICB3301 as an elective I would recommend other classes because the workload is heavy with little payoff.
Dr. Mohr's class was challenging and heavy on memorization for tests, but he is enthusiastic about teaching and his class was very interesting! I didn't care for the textbook, but some liked it.
Mohr is a great professor but a tough grader. You can tell he really likes what he teaches. I wouldn't recommend this class unless you already have an interest in microbio, because it's a lot of work with not a lot of payoff if it's not your thing.
Dr. Mohr was an excellent teacher who was very clear in his expectations, but be sure that you have an interest in microbiology before taking. The material in the class is very engaging, and a lot of times the exams will test you on very minute details. Lab can also be a lot of work: two 9-page lab reports, five lab quizzes, and notebook.
Let's be clear - Microbiology is a tough subject - If you come into this class with the mindset of needing to pass, or needing an extra class to graduate you won't do well. - If you come in understanding that microbiology is complicated, and motivated to learn, you'll do fine. COME TO LECTURE. ASK QUESTIONS. Lab is tough, just put the hours in
Came for the microbes, stayed for the memes.
Not the best class if you are a really busy person. You do need to memorize everything for the exams. Lab is fine besides preparing a lab notebook on the daily. Otherwise, the class is interesting.
Knowledgeable and definitely loves to teach. To do well you have to memorize everything in the notes, but notes are clear and condensed making it clear what you need to know. I honestly learned a lot and got a lot out of the lecture and lab. Not an easy class, but with the appropriate effort you can do well.
Dr. Mohr is one of the best professors Ive had in CBS. Gives very good lectures, and its essential to attend to get the notes. Lab was very interesting. If you have trouble with memorization then I would not recommend this course.
I thought Dr. Mohr's lectures were awesome. He made microbiology interesting to me. However, his exams are entirely based off of memorization from his lectures, so don't skip. Lab can also be a lot of work, but as long as you put enough time into it, you'll be fine.
All based on the lectures but he does reference the textbook a lot and tell you to look things up so textbook is required. His lectures are fill-in-the-blank so attending lecture is a MUST. Memorize all the lecture notes because thats essentially what the exams are.
Mohr is a great guy and a very good professor. Exams are fair based on material presented in lecture. If he cites a textbook page in lecture, you can bet there will be a direct question on the exam based on it. Lab can be a bit tedious- but will often get out well before the posted end time. Do not skip class.
Dr. Mohr is passionate about Microbiology. Dr. Mohr is clearly not passionate about helping his students succeed and clearly takes pride in his C averages. Impossible to know what he wants filled in the blank regardless of how well you know the material, unless you read minds, which I unfortunately do not. Unwilling to provide feedback. Avoid.
Most students either earn a C average or withdraw from the course (from the lecture hall it looked like about half or more withdrew). If you are great at memorization and reciting back explicit knowledge, this is the course for you. If you desire to learn, understand, or apply microbiology, choose a different course.
He is a very nice, but make sure you go to lectures, because he omits stuff from the slides online so you have to come to class to take note of the missing info.
Dr. Mohr was fantastic! He is very passionate about microbes and has an interesting academic pathway (Take him to lunch sometime!) The class is packed with information, and the tests can be fairly detail specific but not impossible. You fill in information on slides during class, so don't skip, but very good introductory class to microbiology!
Dr. Mohr was the best professor ever! He is so clearly passionate about microbiology. I made sure to make a quizlet for basically everything he said in lecture and it helped so much. When he says something might be on the test, he means it! I would take him as a professor for all of my classed if I could.
Best way I can describe this class was "needlessly difficult". The lectures themselves were good, I enjoyed the material and he tied many concepts to real applications. However, tests are so detailed you'll have to practically memorize the entire slides and even that may not get you everything you need. Fine professor, needlessly difficult.
Dr. Mohr protects his intellectual property like the Smithsonian protects the Hope Diamond. He doesnt post lecture slides or exams after they have been taken. You need to watch every lecture and literally memorize everything on every slide if you want to do well. The class is not curved. 75% was the average on the first exam.
Tests are so specific they can basically be considered trivia questions- honestly didn't learn a thing about microbio. Only have exams in the lecture that determine your entire grade. Doesn't curve the class in any way. Long and unengaging lectures. Doesn't accommodate to students very well.
He is a strict grader. His wordings on the exam are really tricky. As an exchange student, I found this class is not hard in critical thinking but rather do you understand the questions he asked. Study everything on the slide, including the images. He also does not do curve so a 90 is A- and 89 is B+. If this class is optional, don't take him
The class is only graded on the 4 exams and the lab (if you take it). The exams require you to memorize literally everything on the slides word for word, picture for picture, and even letter for letter. Making a (over 200 card) quizlet for each exam helped me a lot. He is very knowledgeable about the topic, but bad at helping students succeed.
Extremely passionate and a great lecturer. Can be a bit intimidating but generally charismatic. Follows the guideline "A C grade is an average amount of work done by the average student" -you'll really have to work for an A/B. However, lectures are well-organized and tests pull directly from them. Study by giving his lectures out loud to yourself!
Overall, he is a great professor who is clearly very knowledgeable about what he teaches. His exams are literally just memorizing the lecture slides, simple as that. With this in mind, attending lecture is an absolute must since you need the slide materials to study. Personally, he's not great at emailing and takes awhile to respond to emails.
Dr. Mohr's lectures are pretty interesting and funny. The lecture slides on canvas are fill in the blank, so make sure to go to every class so that you get all the information. Tests are basically just memorizing all the info on the slides, but it's doable if you start studying early!
Dr. Mohr is a very prepared and engaging professor! I LOVED his lectures, and it made me want to learn more about microbiology. His exams are very thorough and extensive, as he gives a lot of information. The textbook is very good supplemental material with the lectures.
Dr. Mohr is an ok professor. Super lecture-heavy and not super engaging. Lectures themselves are helpful but very long and often plain. Exams require no critical thinking whatsoever - solely memorization of the content in the slides. He is very knowledgeable about microbiology, so much so that he has an ego about it, but he does not teach it well.
Dr. Mohr is extremely enthusiastic about Microbiology. His lectures are pretty engaging but have A LOT of information packed into them. You need to goto class since he exclusively provides information in lecture that he doesn't have on his online slides. His exams test ONLY your memorization of the content. KNOW EVERYTHING he has in his slides!!!
Funny, engaging, but very uptight about intellectual material. Race to take notes as full slides from class aren't posted. Miss lecture, you fail. Graded on 4 exams along with lab grade. Exams are 9 pages with mix of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, short answer, and drawing. Grading is fair, but tests are proportionally long to test time
Professor Mohr was very passionate about Microbiology but you have to memorize every thing on each slide or you'll do terrible on the exams. He wouldn't send a classmate the lecture notes when she was sick because "It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the class". If you aren't in lab your grade is based soley on exams.
Dr. Mohr is very passionate about microbiology and lectures were interesting. Your whole grade comes from 4 exams, no curves, exams are purely memorization. He only gives you outlines of his slides, so you NEED to come to class to get all the information for tests. Memorize everything on the slides for the exams! Seriously word for word memorize.
I highly recommend taking microbiology twice. Once to fail and another time to finally understand and memorize the materials. Dr. Mohr was way funnier the second time around. You would also appreciate him more as a professor as you notice how much material he adjusted from one semester to the next, reflecting on feedbacks and time constraints.
This class is entirely memorization. There is no analytical thinking involved at all. I know that he is the only professor that teaches this course, just tough it out through the course and you'll be fine. Make sure you memorize the lab notebook and lectures WORD FOR WORD.
Okay hear me out, this class is a lot of memorization! Make sure you attend every lecture, and you will have to memorize and prep a lot for the tests! (Try a week before, since you will have to make a LOT of flashcards) However, Dr. Mohr is very clear in his explanations and of his expectations of what you need to know. Super interesting class!!
Dr. Mohr is a really strong lecturer and very friendly professor. Just be prepared to attend every single class- you literally cannot miss any or your grade will suffer. Lab is absolutely worthwhile to take.
The class setup is awful. The whole course is graded on 4 exams, with no curves. He feels the need to brag that there was a C average and mention that he "didn't feel like adding a curve". He doesn't post full lectures. He makes rude comments to students who aren't doing well in the course and likes to laugh at the amount of F's on each exam.
This class was really hard, BUT- if you are interested in microbes even a little, it is also so much fun. Lab was 100% the reason my grade ended as high as it did. Just make sure to study early and study in depth. Every single thing you write down during lecture is free game material. He definitely emphasizes important stuff during lecture
lectures were interesting. things i wish i knew prior to the class: whatever is on the lecture notes is fair game and word for word pasted on the exam, so literally just memorize all the slides and youll do good. Hes oddly rude about missing lectures/lab if you are sick and thinks its an inconveinence to him more than you? low-key passive agressive
I took the 8 wk summer course, an exam every other week and a quiz every week, 2 reports, and some hw. Exams are taken directly from slides and quizzes are directly from lab manual. If you got 100% on the lab, u could on avg only miss ~23 points out of 150 on each exam to get a A. I have to retake the class. He's nice but the way he grades is tough
Worst professor I've had in undergrad. He is incredibly passive aggressive when it comes to missing class and thinks his class should be students' number 1 priority even though many of us have a lot going on. He gets upset when grad school interviews overlap with class even though the dates aren't picked by students.
Dr. Mohr is the most passionate and knowledgeable professor I have had in my 4 years in UMN CBS. However, Dr. Mohr expects a LOT from his students... The key to success is 1. Go to every single lecture and memorize EVERY SINGLE thing he says and writes. 2. Accumulate as many points as you can in lab because that helps your grade a lot.
Professor Mohr is nice but very stern. Lecture portion is solely graded on four exams. Exams are mostly fill in the blank. He doesn't post his lecture slides, so you pretty much have to attend lecture. He doesn't provide any resources to help prepare for the exams. The lab portion is easier than the lecture portion, but is very time consuming.
Professor Mohr's lectures make you feel like your money is well spent. He is extremely articulate, professional, and knowledgeable. Yes, everything on the slides is fair game for the test. Yes, it is a lot of content. Turn the slides into flashcards after each lecture, and study study study. Worth the work if you really want to learn something!
Dr Mohr is super passionate about MICB, but his course was formatted so badly. The class was obviously a weed-out class. Lecture 2x a week with lab 2x. Lab quizzes, physical lab notebooks, lab papers, and 7-8 page exams. Exams are mcq, frq, fill-in-the-blank, and draw.... The content was super interesting, but the exams were very dense.
Genuinely might be my favorite professor I've had. He is clearly very passionate about the subject matter and seems so excited just to get to talk about it. He is also very caring and friendly, an incredibly nice person. His tests are difficult and require a lot of studying to do well, but if your schedule isn't crazy then I'd highly recommend.
Had to drop this class. Very hard material, but it could just be me. If you're good at exams, this will be a breeze, but lots of homework and lots of reading and studying. Lab work takes up a good amount of your grade, also, so attendance is mandatory. Exams were hard, but he tries to give partial credit. Exams are 75% FRQ or Fill in the blank...
Great professor! He's super engaged and passionate and the class is incredibly fun! VERY content heavy. Exams include a lot of fill in the blank, so make sure to create Anki decks and review it throughouly. You should be able to explain EVERYTHING verbally. Know why something works, how, front and back. Highly recommend this course!
