He has an accent, but it isn't too bad and he explains very thoroughly. He gives so much extra-credit, it makes it very impossible to fail his class. If you just put in that extra effort it shouldn't be too hard to pass. He very much wants you to, and makes the class easy and lighthearted.

Solid teacher. Very easy to understand, just pay attention and do your homework (even though its not mandatory). He also gives extra credit which i suggest you take advantage of. These class is a breeze if you do whats asked of you.

Attendance is a must. If you can get past his Romanian accent (which isn't bad at all), he's a great teacher. Not only does he do many, many example problems on the board, he's funny. I hate math, he made me like it for this semester anyway lol. Homework a must! He gives extra credit on your exams if you turn in your HW with it :)

He's a great professor. I HATE math. I have NEVER gotten any good grades in math. My average right now is a S (because they don't give letter grades in the class) But I've Aced every test, emaning I'd have an A+ if it were. Not to mention he does not give LAB HOURS! Overall his teaching methods have no flaws what so ever. He provides extra credit ranging from 5 to 20 points. large amount of work but if you pace yourself you wont be overwhelm due to the fact it's due at the end of the semester. provides handout for the test which are similar to the test and is always willing to help. working hard = easy A

I took professor Sabau during fall semester for 16 weeks. 8 weeks Mat 1033(Grade -A+) & 8 weeks Mac 1105(Grade - B).it was very fast paced .But professor Sabau is available for help in the math lab & gives you 10 extra credit points per exam. I really enjoyed his class. he drops the lowest exam grade. PLEASE TAKE HIM!!! but this was not an easy A !

If youre good at math this is an easy A. He gives A LOT of extra credit for every test up to 15 points. He didnt take attendance not once the whole semester. Just do your mylab and extra credit and youll do great in the class.

I wish I was able to take him again for Mac1105 but his class were really full. If you really pay attention you will pass,if not you wull fail. There is a test for each secotion but we had about 4 test.

Prof. Sabau teaches in a way that you understand. I appreciated that he gives MANY extra credit options. Final is even optional and will replace worst quiz grade. I wish he taught other maths that I needed. Available during his office hours and replied to emails fairly quickly. Make sure you study and do the work as it easy to fall behind.

Great Professor ever at Miami Dade. He is so concise on his material and teaches you so well there's no way you'll his class and not understand. Professor Sabau's class was easy. There were five tests, with the final being optional. Also, the five lowest quiz grades were dropped. For each test, there's a review that's graded, and we had the option of doing addional problems for ten extra credit points. His class is simple and would usually end 10-15 minutes early.

This professor is amazing, I never imagined Id be able to understand math before having him teach me. He gives plenty of extra credit and makes sure to explain problems that are similar to homework and test problems. TAke him you wont regret it. 100/100 totally worth taking and passing with an A+

Sabau has a lot of knowledge and explains the context VERY CLEAR, he leaves many tasks on Lab Pearson, but nothing that you can't do if you do it on time. He also gives extra credit and does EVERYTHING through Lab Pearson, which for me was NICE! :)

Professor Sabau was fantastic. He'd come to class early and stay after for anyone who had questions. Class was rarely the full 2 hours. His response time to emails is superb. Taking him again for Statistics. His lessons are clear and if you don't get it, he won't move on until you do. Take him!

Lectures can be confusing (accent), but the homework will help you figure it all out. 5 lowest quiz grades are dropped, while the lowest test grade is also dropped so if you do well, you don't need the final. 10 points extra credit assignment, with every test, that's multiple choice unlimited attempts, so you can keep submitting until you get 100%.

Professor Sabau makes this class super straightforward. Homework is ungraded, but exams have review sessions and extra credit. I found Unstuckstudy really helpful for practice. Definitely a solid option if you need a math credit.

AMAZING professor. Gives 50 points extra credit just for participation. Drops the lowest test grade, and 5 lowest quiz grades. Get A's on the first 3/5 tests and YOU ARE DONE for the semester. He cares so much about students and will regularly check people's grades and help them achieve their desired grade. Take him to have a Prof. on your side.

Taking Professor Sabau was a little too easy for a math class. He gives 4 exams and 1 final the exams are similar to the hw, quizzes, and test reviews. Adds 10 points toward exams if you do the review adds 50 extra points towards test 4 if you participate and drop the lowest 3 quizzes and, One exam score. It's hard to fail by how he grades.

I took his class, and this is one of the best Decision I've ever made he's an amazing professor he uses the homework to teach in class then you redo them at home and score at least 80% so you can take the quizzes and score at least 80% to take the Test (Exam) very easy class nothing is proctored.

This was my second time taking this class he makes it easy to understand and to solve while other professors use the hardest way to teach it. TAKE HIM, I RECOMMEND THIS CLASS!
