Very nice teacher. I took eco 1001 with her and now taking 1002. Very concerned with students. She even thaught the recitations since the T.A. was really bad.

She seemed strict the first day but then she softened up. Her tests are pretty easy so far, but the way she explains isn't the best.If you go by the book and do the problems that she posts on Blackboard then you are up for a good grade.

Her class and exams (all multiple-choice) is extremely easy. She gives a lot of examples and explains every concept until everybody gets it. For me she was going over the material very slowly and she did not cover third of the chapters. My advice is if yo

She is awesome and really knows what she is doing in class. The best part is that whatever is on the review is on the exam too.

Very good professor. Prepared us for the final with EXTRA review session. Explains everything very clearly, actually knows what she's talking about. Read the text, take really good notes (especially graphs), and study from her review quizzes, I got an A!

She is plain awesome and is always available for her students. If you don't care about getting grades, it is your problem, but if you want to learn something she'll be there always willing to help. The discussion boards she sets up are pretty awesome.

Prof. Agioutanti teaches very well and the work isn't as hard as it appears once you read the book but some of the test questions are a bit difficult to understand precisely and the class is graded strictly on the exam scores so there is little room for errors. These ratings are so inaccurate. She's a great professor who tries very hard. All of you who rated her low either 1) are idiots or 2) don't bother showing up for class since attendance is optional. She comes to class early and stays late to answer any questions that students might have. Her tests are fair and she curves them by a few points.

she's great. very clear. very fair. any comments about her attitude...yes, I can relate to b.c. she does express her annoyance when students flood her with questions that have already been clearly stated in the syllabus, otherwise she is quite willing to help. If you go to class, the exams are quite clear and straightforward.

Here's the deal: she's a really nice person who wants students to do well. She spends time before and after class answering questions as long as they aren't something silly. Here tests are very fair, but her final was a rather difficult. I got an A, and I thought I would do worse. As long as you try, you should do well. I recommend her.

The people who rated her low are either lazy or don't care! This Prof. is very nice and cares. She is funny and tries to use creative examples. The lessons were clear and exams were fair. She gave reviews before each tests and the recitation was always available at your disposal. Children, its time to grow up and take responsibility!

shes a good professors,her tests are from her notes, her review b4 the exam is also good, she threw the attendance policy out when sum students said they couldnt see in the back. i got a b+, you can read outa the book, its the same as her classes, and the book helps. Take her shes better than the rest of the eco profs, excep joyce, hes good too.

Extremely clear and helpful professor. I feel like I learned a lot about economic principles from her. At first is a bit intimidating but then becomes nice, a little bit sarcastic and funny. Overall, great experience.

Give me a break, Prof. was very easy. The easiest A I have gotten ever. 2 hours study before the test is more than enough. She pretty much tells you what's on the test the class before.

Read the notes and make sure that you do not miss classes. If you miss a class take notes from someone else. Exams are from the notes.

I can't remember the code, but I took her for Micro in the summer. Easy-going, two tests, MANDATORY attendance, reviews what's on the test. Not bad, but you really have to attend class and take notes - that's where her test comes from.

This class is pretty easy if you make the effort to come to class and pay attention in class. 95% of whats on the exam is directly from the notes in class and the in-class examples. Just pay attention in class and be careful not to make stupid mistakes on the tests, and you'll do fine. 2 tests, multiple choice only.

Love her. Really good class. B4 I take her, I just felt nervous, but I learned a lot from her class. 2midterms, 1 final. miderterms r easy, i almost got 100, but final is really really hard. Take good notes in the class and you are good to get an A. Read the text carefully to be able to answer some intricate ques in the test.Mid-terms are easy but final is hard. Try to score maximum on class assignments and mid-terms.

She is very attuned to the fact that most MPA majors struggle with economics, and therefore, she teaches the material very slowly in the beginning. She tends to accelerate a little bit toward the end, but not much. She has 4 assignment, which are very easy, and a mid-term and final, which aren't too difficult either.

Having no prior experience with economics this was a very difficult class. She tries very hard to get you to understand the material and gives fair exams. The second half was much harder than the first. I took this over summer and wonder how I would have done if I had time over the whole semester.

The professor is a little hard to get use to, but all in all it wasn't too bad. Yeah econ is a hard topic and she actually forces you to learn. Tests are easy enough, just multiple choice. She grades tough on the homeworks though.

The professor has a weird sense of humor but one you can easily get used to. She has a tough attitude so make sure you display interest in the topic. I had no prior experience in Economics and was getting A's in all my assignments and a B+ in midterm. I was very challenged by the class but the professor was good at explaining if you asked her to.

I loved her class. Awesome professor! The textbook costs a lot, but she finds a way to make you spend as less as possible. However, you do have to read her slides and powerpoints in order to do well. I didn't buy the book but got an A just from those. Make sure you follow what she says from the first day and you will be fine. I miss her.

Professor Agioutanti was an amazing teacher. Grading was Fair, she's actually funny without knowing. This was a summer course so i thought I'd be hard but she made it very easy on us. Her test is the exact questions from her review sheet. If you study her review sheet, You shouldn't fail here class. But she does take the attendance serious.

Only 3 exams and 1 final, she took an average of 4 grades. No HW! TAKE her if you need this class, the exam review would be the same as the exam, she took 20 questions out of 30 questions, if you do the review, you would get an easy A!!!!
