She is a cool teacher!

Christie's class was truly fun and informing. She is freindly and approachable, making time for her students comments and questions. She is always praising her students and offers quality constructive critiscm.

Very clear in explaining what it is that the students have to do. As long as the people who are in that class try to do well, they will pass.

She was a very good teacher. As long as you show up to class, and do what is assigned you will get a good grade. Summer is easiest, you dont do many assignment.

She is the nicest teacher at this school. Very easy to pass the class but it is a little harder to get an A. She is very very passionate about her work and defiently a feminist. If you take her class, make sure your pro-womens movement. Other then that, she is a really good and nice teacher.

She is a good professor.Her methods are questionnable and she gives a lot of essay assignments but in the end it is positive because you practice your critical writing and thinking.I have learned a lot with her.And even if english is not my first language I got an A in her class.She is very helpful!

i cant argue her other courses but this one i think deals a little more with her direct interests so she probably teaches it better. Its easy and more of a creative course.

She was a very good teacher. If you actually want to improve your writing skills take her. If you don't, try someone else. Learn to kiss ass and pay attention in class. You HAVE to be pro feminists in your class. I know personally my writing got a lot better after taking her.

IF you talk to her, she's really helpful and takes the time to explain everything! she could be labeled as a pro feminists but she's just really passionate about what she beileves in. I learned a lot and learned to write better at the same time! Great Teacher!

I have taken Ms. Diep for 3 classes and she is great. She cares about all people and not just women and she is clear and helpful. I learned more form her than from many of my other teachers. Her teaching helped me do better in my other classes. Her 102 is awesome! I actually like poetry now!

Ms. Diep is so cool. She's really opened my eyes to think more about womens status in the world. Her essay assignments are on pop culture so it's something we can all relate to and enjoy. I highly recommend this teacher!

this is the coolest class! no boring readings, everythings related to daily life. the essay assignments are even fun! ms. diep is way cool.

The class overall was not easy- it's project after project. but most of them are fun and none of them are too difficult. you only have to read 2 childrens novels for the midterm & final and she's very down to earth and one of the easiest teachers to get along with. one of my favorite teachers at cypress! :D

She made a point to explain the relativity of each assignment, in regards to teaching since most of the students were planning on becoming one. This made the workload bearable. There was a ton of work, but each assignment was worth it. By her challenging approach to teaching future teachers, she has done our children a huge favor. Awesome!!

She is a great teacher. she made me think about things i had never really thought about. There are a few essays that were a bit challenging for me but i tried my best and got good grades on all of them. Overall take this class but be prepared to think and write essays.

The class is pretty easy as long as one keeps up with the reading. Diep is understanding if you cannot get something done because of sickness. Just make sure you just come to class and tell her.

I've taken 2 of her classes already. She is very compassionate and understanding. She gives out a lot of homework but they are easy and tests are a breeze, just make sure you read the tests. I recommed her to anyone who needs to take an english class.

Good teacher! Not very understanding about things that may come up outside of school. So make sure you go to class. Lots of pop quizzes. Doing the reading is a must. She is passionate about the work and overall she's pretty nice.

This teacher is great! She is very passionate about her work and gives great amount of help as long as you ask for it. She was absent a couple times this semester due to her illness, but she sure makes up for it when she returns. Make sure you read all your material and attend class as often as possible.

This professor is very openminded and helpful. Her discussion are mostly concerned about the minority rights and our freedom. This class is easy as long as you read the assigned reading. There are two novels you have to read and there will be a quiz. She was sick this semester and few class meetings are cancelled. But attendance is critical.

I took her class online. She is organized and very helpful. She writes back to your emails right away. There were quizes almost every week. 2 Exams(not including the Final, and 3 essays (not including the Final). The final is a timed essay you must write in 2 hours, but its not bad. She is a little picky but not terrible. I would recommend her :)

Read assigned readings and take down notes.I studied a night before every exam and still got A’s on everyone of them.Exams consist of knowing full name of authors & works, recognizing passages from works,explain the passages, and one short essay(1 intro, 1 body, 1 concl. paragr).There are 4 or 5 papers,but each are not more than 5 pages.I got an A.

I love Ms. Diep!!! She is such an amazing teacher who truly wants her students to succeed. As long as you put effort into it you will do fine. Attendence isn't mandatory but there are unannounced quizzes. If you like British Lit you will love this class. If not you will struggle through the Moderns.

Ms. Diep is an amazing teacher. I had her for Engl 100 H. I learned so much more than how to write an essay. She is a really smart woman who will make you think about things you never thought about before. Lots of discusions, 3 essays and a research paper is all the class really is. Don't go through the honors program with out taking this teacher!

Awesome professor.English was the subject I hate the most. To be honest, when I first sign up for her Eng 100 class, I wasn't sure if I'm going to be able to pass the class. However, professor Diep taught me a lot in her class and I end up getting an A at the end of the semester.

She is supper good. She always answered my emails quickly and any questions that I had. This class is interesting and i really liked all of the readings. The class is easy to understand and i liked the way that Professor Diep conducted it. the work is easy to do if you keep up with it. This class made me think about alot of new things.

took eng 104 online, awesome class. she made the theme of the class horror books from the Victorian era like Frankenstein and Dracula. books were all really good and interesting which made the class easy. if you read the books and her notes youll be fine in class. i did minimal effort and passed.

After taking 1 class, I came back for more because I loved Ms. Diep's classes; she is very interesting, inspiring, very enthusiastic about the material. Doesn't settle for mediocre, but pushes you to do your best work, which is fantastic. If you want to learn, & learn how to think, take her class.

This class was the most interesting class I've taken this semester. Anyone who criticizes her teaching must have gotten a D in her class. Though it was a challenging class, I learned a lot. I suggest ALL the classes Professor Diep teaches. She's extremely inspirational.

Ms. Diep is a great teacher. She cares about literature and she wants the students to see things on their own. she doesn't tell anyone what to think and she made me feel that I had important things to say. I think that she helped me to think better because she challenged me. The material is hard and some people whine about it.

Started this class at fullerton had to drop. Prof. Diep is cool. Lots of reading. Discussions can be boring cause people don't read the stuff. I'm not an english major but lots of them in the class. They're lazy. Good class though.

I took Professor Diep's online ENG102 class. Signing up into the class was a for me to fulfill a requirement for transferring. I was never good at English so I was scared. To my surprise, I actually loved the class and even earned an A. She has high standards, but they are doable.

Took the online class... easy! took the 8 week course.. a lot of writing since it is english. I thought this class was going to another boring english class but the stories she assigned was actually fun to read and analyze

I took her literature class online and found it very engaging as far as onine classes go. She gave you all you needed to succeed and was there if you had any questions or issues. Very involved in the subject. Just an FYI: take up all the time on the timed essays. She'll mark you down if you don't. Other then that...she was great.

Prof. Diep is a very nice and helpful teacher. I had the 8am class hard but youll get use to it. she gives 2 mid-terms, 1 final (she goes over that day b4 test), 2 essays, a couple quizes (not hard mult. choice), and 1 group work she started with us. also just show up to class for credit too. Recommand her!!

Took Prof. Diep for Summer 10'. Consists a lot of work but overall is an easy class. 4 Essays, Quizzes, Short Essays, Discussion Boards. Take her class if you want an A but you must be well-disciplined esp. for an online class.

I took her 2010 summer online course. I agree that you must stay focus on the weekly tasks as you would for any summer course. Other than that, I enjoyed this english course essay topics and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Took her English 239 online class she gives you a week to do your homework,quizzes and essays. She is really easy and she gets back to emails pretty quick and cares for her students:)

She makes you write on topics that she is very passionate about so best thing to do is to agree with her for sake of your grade. She man bashes and felt like I was in a women's suffrage class sometimes. But easy class and essays. Didnt use the book a lot and she let's you out early almost all the time. Take her unless you're very opinionated and like debating.

Professor Diep is an wonderful teache!She cares about her students and will always help them out. you can tell she loves what she does becuase she does it so wonderfully & is very passionate about it. assigned readings are always interseting & actually teach you something. any student should feel lucky to learn from her.

Very easy teacher! She lets you out really early. She tends to go off topic but she is very opinionated and passionate about what she does. She is a womanist! Sorry guys you will get picked on very often. Overall very easy class to pass. Easy A! Essay topics were easy and she doesnt grade hard.

Professor Diep is awesome. She can be a bit sassy at times, but it's all good... just try not to get offended. Only problem is it takes her a while to grade assignments. Other than that, I really enjoyed her class!

Prof Diep is a very intelligent woman who is passionate about literature. You WILL learn from her. That being said, she is a feminist who doesn't like it when you disagree with her views. You have to be very diplomatic with her if you don't want to be singled out. 1 paper, 3 exams, 1 group presentation, and small weekly hw essays.

If there's one professor u must take, it's her. She needs to teach EVERY class on campus, not just english lol. She is very smart and extremely kind. Our class took literature to a whole upper level, if only she could teach at whatever college I transfer to. I finished that class being a much more intelligent individual, thank you prof. diep!

Took her online class. This class isn't hard as long as you don't leave your writing assignments/essays til the last minute. Only thing bad I would say is the grading takes more than a week which drove me crazy especially because it was a summer class.

professor Diep is honestly the best ever. if you are able to take her class, DO IT! you will leave the class a better person. she teaches things that actally apply to today. so happy I had the privilege of taking her! oh and class is easy. just do the homework. she tells you exactly what are on the midterm and final word for word. easy A.

I took her as a fast track course and she is very laid back, the topics for essays have to do with womans rights, civil rights, and gender, sterotyping, discrimination etc. She gave hand outs but u might need to get a book. VERY EASY! she doesnt back to u quick on ur essays though..

Love this teachers class. Took her online class her tests are mostly T/F and easy. Enjoyed the reading selection and the course overall. Take her class you will not regret it.

The assignments are laid out well throughout the semester. However, she is absolutely terrible at responding to e-mails. I've even showed up to her office hours a few times only to find she wasn't there. She also takes FOREVER to grade the essays. The actual course itself is pretty easy though.

Love her teaching. Learned a lot about a lot of different important issues.

Professor Diep, actually failed me the semester prior, due to frequent absence; but she told me to "take her summer online english class", that it was straight to the point and simple. I did just that, and received and A in her class. Super easy and straight to the point. She takes a little to return emails, but you don't need to email her much.

Professor Diep is an amazing teacher. She is super helpful and no email goes unanswered. lots of reading, and quiz each week on reading. as long as you make the time to read or even find readings online... it was an EASY A!!! She made english FUN!

A lot of work, enjoy her lectures. It helps me prepare myself as an English Major. She knows so much and I hope I can absorb as much knowledge from her as I can.

She's a great teacher and I feel like has prepared me a lot for my major. She really prepares you for higher education. She's can come off as harsh during the first week. I've got a lot of out of her class that I will take on to my other classes. She's really into feminism but her message makes you think. It's interesting.

The first half of the semester I absolutely did not enjoy her class, then about three quarters of the way though I stopped being stubborn and listened to what she was trying to teach and I really came around, I feel her class was very beneficial. It's a thought provoking class that on the surface seems lame, but deep down is a necessity. Loved it.

I took Professor Diep's ENG102 Summer online class. Must be well-disciplined and prepared for a lot of work and writing such as Essays, Quizzes, Short Essays, Discussion Boards since it is English online class. I actually enjoyed what I had learned and would highly recommend the class to other.

Good professor, personally enjoyed her class. Only had 3 essays throughout the year barely no homework. Midterm and Final are a breeze. Easy grader. Makes you buy her textbook when you don't really need it/use it.

English 208 was so amazing. I am so thankful Prof. Diep teaches this class. Awesome experience. Will take more of her classes. Help me learn about myself and the world around.

Took this summer class online. Pay attention to the grading of assignments/essays and you should be fine. Discussion board, short essay, 3 page essay, true/false quizzes every week. There is a final research paper (8 pages) with clear grading criteria. Followed all directions, submitted everything on time and got a 96% in the class.

I took her online class and it was pretty easy. You are learning from the textbook essentially, so beware of A LOT of reading. Other than that, the discussion boards and mini essays are pieces of cake. I would email her if something was off and she would fix it immediately. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Totally undermined Professor Diep and boy was I amazed in the long run. She knows her stuff and will do her best for you to understand what is being read.

I took her Children's Literature class that was fast paced. It was around two months and her schedule was on point. Just follow the instructions and you're good to go!

I took the short term session. It was not easy but as long as you complete the assignments and do the work, Prof Diep is really fair with grading. She's organized and always on schedule. My only downside was that she was a little bit confusing on giving instructions sometimes, but she responses through email for further questions. I recommend her!

Took this course for Eng 100 and Eng 102, both online. Quizzes are super easy if you READ everything. I usually finished under several minutes (thats being diligent). Essays are hard depending on your writing skills. If you follow her guidelines, I think you will receive a fair grade. Lots of reading, discussions, and short essays/quizzes. Easy A

This professor has been one of my favorites, where the lectures we had in class really carry onto one's life. There is depth to the discussions, and the literature makes one reflect upon that. She is one of the few professors I have had that really cares about your success, not just in passing the class, but growing as a person.

I took her online for English 100. Her class was so easy. There is an essay every week. All homework, quizzes, and essays are due Monday at midnight. The only complaint I have about this professor is the fact that she never once replied to my emails. Overall, I would take this class again. Very easy! Just do your work.

Professor Diep really makes you work for your grade. I disliked her lack of response when it came to emailing her. You will need the textbook. Do the weekly assignments and you will pass.

It was an easy course, she teaches you a lot on how to improve your papers with peers. Just do her suggestions in her feedback and you will pass. Participation equals extra points.

Many discussion posts and journals, which are basically small essay analysis'. She also has quizzes almost every week for each assigned reading, which is easy. Three major essays, but based off of assigned reading from earlier weeks. All of this looks daunting, but she gives you assignments week by week, which really helped manage my work load.

Professor Dieps class was great! If you follow all of her grading criteria, you should be able to keep your A throughout the entire semester. Discussions and quizzes are entirely online, and we mostly just worked on our essays in class. Midterm and final were super easy. TAKE HER!

This is the third english class I have taken of this professor. Each time has been a pure delight and positive experience. 10/10 recommend her. Im an english major, have had some pretty bad professors here. She is one of the best at this campus. You wont regret taking her.

All u have to do is the hw and you're solid & follow the essay prompts. The readings can be long and grueling but u can find yourself away around it. U have to buy 3 txtbooks which are annoying. Considering this is an online course I expected better comm through emails. She was also forgetful in posting our hw every Monday. Besides that, easy A.

Took her class for a summer course. It was super easy and laid back. Basically had two short essays, one - two quizzes, and three large essays due for the whole course. Easy grader and basically as long as you put the effort in you'll pass.

She is the easiest teacher I have ever seen. Her online class does not require a lot of work. In total, we have 2 essays, 1 research paper, 1 final. She does not respond to her emails so it is hard to reach out to her when you need helps. Overall, this is just like a high school class in college and you can get an easy A in this class.

Ive taken Diep before, and to me she seems like a very easy English professor. Shes nothing special tbh, but I know when I take her, Ill get an A. She grades very easy, but her flaw is she grades VERY SLOW. Our class ended over a month and a half ago & she still hasnt finished our final essay. I still recommend tho bc shes so EASY.

Professor Diep really understood my difficulties because of COVID and she cared enough to give me extra help I needed. These posts from students who are critical of slow grading must not have had any life problems during this pandemic like a lot of us did. I would take Professor Diep again because her class is good and she is kind.

I learned a lot. The class is easy to understand and no surprises. I could easily plan my schedule with the assignments and I learned more than I expected. I'm so happy I found Ms. Diep during the bad time of COVID and she helped me to have confidence in my writing.

Love her such a great professor by far! Assignments are super easy the book really helps for the quizzes. Not a lot of reading as long as you meet the writing requirements you will get full credit. If you hate English take this course with her trust me easy A.

Professor Diep understands her students. Took the accelerated class and passed with a really high grade. There are about 5 reading sections per week and each ranges from 2-13 pages. A quiz or two per week, weekly discussion board, short essay sometimes, and one exam for finals. She moves the due date by a week if you ask. Easy class.

Professor Diep is an incredible Professor. Very easy-going and responds to emails. Willing to help with questions asked and very understanding of part-time students with full-time jobs. Quite a few discussion post assignments require participation, but the papers were straightforward.

Took Professor Diep for my first class to get my degree. I took her for my written communication credit. There was a lot of reading and papers involved, but it definitely gets you ready for MLA format and writing papers for other classes. She was very lenient and understanding of any issues and gave great feedback. Would take her classes again.

I had Professor Diep for an accelerated 8-week course so the pace was fast, but the class was straight-forward with papers assigned with plenty of lead time. The assignments were clear and the textbook was used regularly for reading assignments and response prompts. She was very accommodating and gracious when I reached out to her for assistance.

She's not a tough grader. As long as you follow the instructions, it's an easy A. The only bad thing is that she grades quite slowly, but that never was really an inconvenience to me, nor was it bothering. I took an 8-week course that was fast-paced but surprisingly manageable. 

very manageable for an English course. The essays are fairly easy along with the discussions. You must do the work other wise you won't pass. She was able to guide me to how can I improve my grade. This class is very achievable and you should not fail. (Don' forget to do a an essay because it will hurt your grade). I'd do this class again.

I took this class online in summer and I'm glad I chose professor Diep! She is nice, caring and understanding. Since it's a six week class it was fast paced but still manageable. I had a great experience and enjoyed taking this class.
