Nice teacher , gives great examples and shows how to do all work.

Very nice lady, took her time in explaining and made herself available whenever a student needed help. I credit her for helping me do better in math. Tests are pretty easy if you understand what she's teaching. I loved her.

She was a wonderful teacher! You dont have to do homework, but I would advise you do it so you know the material better. If you do the Math Lab assignment and understand the material then you should do fine on the tests.

I had her for trig and I got a B in the class. I thought that she gave easy ways to remember formulas and she explained how to use them. I took her twice and I liked her both times

Very easy class, as long as you do your homemwork and mymathlab. She gives review before each test and her tests are very straight forward. So once you do your homework and look over the review questions before each test, you will definitely get an A or pass this class

i can't believe what im reading! heinrich was by far the best teacher ever! everybody in my class agreed with me and i wish i could take her again. bcc kids are just dumb. If you're even remotely intelligent,take her.

Great professor. Very fair in her grading, unlike some of the other professors here at BCC. I got a "B," and although it was my 1st "B," I felt I got the grade I deserved. Just keep up with the homework (I didn't), and you'll be just fine. She's a sweet woman.

Ms. Heinrich is a nice person. She likes and respects students that are dedicated and serious about the class. Don't miss class, do your HW and study. She moves quickly through the material and often surprises you on tests with problems that we lightly covered in class and weren't part of the test review. She is willing to help students.

if you like math and you understand it, take her, because she does go a bit fast, but i got a B on her class, so its not that hard.

I do not enjoy math but I enjoyed her class. She gave part of the tests as a take home assignment and we had one group project which was interesting to do. Go to class, pass attention, do the homework and you will do fine. She was receptive to questions and did a good review before each test.

she's the best teacher ever. she gives handouts, quizzes, and test reviews. she also take her time going what the students don't understand. if you come to class there's no reason not to pass her test. she sometimes gives partial credits if you show your work. she's great I "highly recommend her and i will take her for MAC1105

She is a great teacher i deffinately reccomend her if you pay attention and do your homework and ask questions when you dont understand you will easily pass. She seems intimadating at first but she is a sweet heart! She answers any questions and wants to help you do good!

PAY ATTENTION...thats all i can say. She doesn't take attendence, but if you skip there's NO WAY IN HELL you could recover that day, resulting in you FAILING with like a "G"...and yes it's possible to get below an "F" and if you don't believe me then skip...see what happends.

She is great! She gives a quiz nearly every class, during the first ten minutes of class to ensure attendance. As long as you're in class you should do alright! She goes over everything and doesnt count HW against you. There are online assingments though. The class to me was very easy and she's really the best math teacher I've ever had.

Take her you will not regret it. If you have any questions no matter how silly they may seem "ask any way" if you are shy ask after class. Learning is fun in her classes. Never likes math but now it's great to learn the fundtions of math. You will have FUN, FUN, FUN.

if you have your basics down tight, this class is a breeze. if you took it easy in school and never learnt menial concepts like exponents and roots, this class is not for you. Prof. Heinrich was clear and took time to explain anything (no matter how simple) that students were'nt getting. screw clickers though.

I have only been in this class for a few weeks now, and I can already say that it's a GREAT math class. she doesn't take attendance, but there is no way you can pass a math class without attending. Heinrich is very clear and is a very skilled math teacher. I will definitely take her for higher level math classes!

im currently taking her and i would definately recommend her. she explains the problems with easy examples and then shows the harder ones. do the homework for self practice, dont miss class, and go on time to do her daily quizes, easy ten points a day. the tests arent hard but of course you need to do your part in the class.

Barely Made it with a C thank goodness, but it's my fault anyway for getting lackadaisical toward the end of the semester. She's pretty ok, a little fast though. It probably would have helped if I really put true effort into listening to her more and studying harder for the tests.

I signed to take mat1085 with a math teacher at BC and had to drop because I could not keep up with the teacher(math is not a strong subject for me). The next semester I enrolled in her class for mat1085 and yea it was not fun but she is good at explaining and spares us the BS. I enrolled in her MAC1105 class too, I recommend her to everyone I know

I hated math, and had to start from the beginning, I took her MAC 1105. And I have to say She is a great teacher! you have 5 tests and clicker/quiz questions that give you extra credit points. She explains everything very well. I recommend you do the homework. One of the best math teachers at the school.

Great teacher! Gives you the opportunity to do your best and to earn points in the class. Math is not my strongest, yet I got an A in her class. She doesn't use the text in class but "there is always homework." Her test are not hard, but read the questions carefully, if you show up to every class, and pay attention & participate, you'll get an A.

The class was fearly easy just pay attention and u will get it and dnt miss class cuz u will miss very important info and quizes every day. But over all easy just study or at least review b4 test days and u will be fine i got an A and dis is the 1st time i got higher den a C in a math course. she is also very nice and doesnt mind helping u just ask

I liked Professor Heinrich. She goes fast and doesn't explain much in detail but is still a good teacher. A lot of studying has to be done on your own, and there is also a mathlab due every week. If you stay organized and try hard you should be good in her class.

I took Prof Heinrich for MAC1105, and even though I am now at FAU, I am going to take her for other courses because she's excellent. Keep up with the homework, attend classes, make sure you understand the material and you should be more than fine. Failing her class isn't her fault - it's yours... this isn't high school anymore people!

I find the professor to be a great teacher. She works the class up to harder and harder math problems. She gives quizzes everyday of class. There is alot of dedication to the class. Her grading system is fair, but the quizzes are hard. I only wish that the prof would see how much we are trying and be more lenient with the grades.

Prof. Heinrich is like my favorite teacher at broward. i've taken her for two semesters now- mat1033 and mac1105- and she's a great teacher. she gives homework on mylabsplus every class, no quizzes, so you have no reason to get less than a 100% on that. great at explaining as far as i'm concerned. i'd recommend her!

I'm not good at math AT ALL. This was the first time I actually paid attention and understood concepts. She really does have a great job communicating with her students and even though she makes you work for your grade, it is gratifying at the end of the semester. I recommend taking her only if you are willing to work for your grade!

THE BEST MATH PROFESSOR AT BC! I don't know how the others can say she doesn't explain things. One person wouldn't understand and she'd review it. Very detailed in the explanations. You don't need a book. Show up, do you MyLabs (and reviews) and you'll get an A. Offers extra Credit. Quiz every day but only stuff just taught. A+ professor!

Take this class even if you do not know anything about algebra. She is really helpful, there are quizzes every day which helps you remember the concepts, and many times she will let you do the quiz in groups or even give you an A just for attending, 5 tests + the final, drops the lowest test grade and replaces it with the final. Just do the work.

i had her for MAC1105, she makes math easy. one of the best math teachers. just do the homework (myMathLab) and do the optional test reviews. her reviews are from previous tests she has given out. she gives extra credit homework after every test. its hard not to pass with an A.

Great Instructor! She explains trigonometry well and is very helpful. I tried taking trig online but then withdrew because I didn't understand anything; however, I took her class and passed with an A.

Also, MY LABS will help!! and do it as soon as possible it Will help you. She gives daily pop quizzes as an attendance check and smiles alot. Don't text in her class.

Amazing I never knew a teacher could care so much she tracks all of her students individually. She was worth an 1 hour drive twice weekly.

She would look at you and smile weird but I can honestly say I learned so much from taking her class. Everyday she gives you a quiz but it is there to help you. Great teacher, knows her stuff and puts it across well. Has strict rules (I realized students who act like kids are the reason for those rules). Quiz every class which varies, it may be a group quiz or an individual quiz or you may just full quiz grades for showing up that day. A lot of opportunities to pass this class, just show up and listen!

This professor is great! She really cares about the success of her class. She does not stop until everyone understands and her reviews and tests are consistent with the class work and assignments. She is a keeper, for sure!!!!!!

Great Professor! Took her this semester for mac1147. Must attend all classes! Pop quiz everyday. HW everyday. But you will definitely learn a lot from her! Super nice lady. Her test are a bit challenging but you can make them up with a good grade on midterm and final. I recommend her.

It won't be easy, but you will learn. YES she gives a quiz every day, a few are participation quizzes for showing up to class. YES you will have homework due four days a week. You will also master the skills you need to advance in your math courses. If that is important to you, take her class.

She gives partial credit on almost everything, including tests. The practice tests and preclass quizzes are almost identical to the real test and quiz. If you work hard, and do all of your work, you'll get an A.

I took a 8 week blended course and it was work heavy. 14 pre class quizzes and 14 In class quizzes but she drops 4 of the lowest grades from both categories. There were 3 Tests and a final with a review that is the same as the test. Each test is 25 questions long with 1:30 to complete. I basically thought myself on Aleks and didn't learn from class

I hate math, I literally failed my last math class. The only reason you wont pass this class is if you dont come to class. She is so caring as a teacher and wants to see all her students pass. She drops 3 of the lowest grades in each section which helps alot! I am actually learning in her class. Work load is just as much as other math classes.

She is a good professor in general. You are going to have to work a lot in this class, but every homework that is proposed, has a reason to be. Quizzes every class ( I took the course in 8 weeks) and homework every day. It was worth it!

This was by far the easiest class ever. She clearly outlines how each day of the course will go and how she grades (KEEP YOUR NOTEBOOK NEAT AND YOU'LL GET EXTRA CREDIT). She has quizzes of maybe 10 questions at the beginning of each class as a little review of the homework and last class, three tests and a final. DO ALL HOMEWORK AND ASK QUESTIONS!!

This is a tough math class, but precalc is a tough course. If your degree has any degree of math you want a good foundation and Ms. Heinrich provides that. Attendance is mandatory, if you miss a couple classes you'll fall behind, if you feel like you don't understand something ask her. She does group quizzes and its good because others will help!!

Awesome professor. She understands that students are humans and that things happen. As long as you show up to class and do your homework you will succeed. The test reviews are exactly like the test and there are a few long homework assignments here and there but it isn't impossible to complete.

Professor Heinrich is a great teacher, but you have to make sure that you keep up with the class. There is homework after every class, due before the next class; the homework is on a online website that I found easy to work with. However she is easily available outside of class for any help you need and has many office hours.

I took her class for MAC1105C. To succeed, do HW on time, there are quizzes either before or after lecture, so attendance is mandatory. Make sure to watch videos on the course module, and practice problems. Homework is on an online website. fast-paced very easy to fall behind. I just wish she did not "teach in bulk" or teach "broadly".

I dont know why she has a 52% i feel like shes one of the only teachers who is actually there to help in the beginning of the hear she only had to yell ONCE because some guy was still acting like this is highschool other than that shes chill she the first professor i actually rated on here she actually asks if the class understands before moving on

I had her last semester and I loved her. I loved her teaching style and she always answered any questions I had. If you're not the best in math, I wouldn't recommend this class. If you're good in algebra and want a challenge, take her! She made math fun for me! :)

Professor Christie Heinrich is an excellent educator. Responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive. This class requires real effort and steady engagement. Success depends on practicing regularly and taking the time to understand each concept. Using the tutor is highly recommended. I would be honored to take another course with this professor.
