she's alright, but don't be late or she'll hold a grudge against you the whole semester.

Shes a tough grader, but it's what shes trained for- critical reading. She really wants to make you a more critical thinker and a better writer by the end of the semester. I recommend her, you just need to put in the time and ask for help/clarity when needed!

She is a good teacher. She is extremely helpful and defiantely wants to help you. If you can go see her with whatever issues you have on ANYTHING! She is the type that will notice when your trying and want to help you no matter what. You will need the book a lot and bring it every day except test days and paper review days.

I took this women a while back, and found that her class had very vague and obscure class discussions. She was a nice lady some weeks and completely opposite others. I do enjoy english, but I did not enjoy Prof. bisirri's class at all. I would advise those who are considering to register for her class to look at other options.

Ms. Bisirri is a really fun, helpful teacher. She is extremely easy if you do the writting assignments she gives you. If you do not do the in class writtings and home assignments you will not do well in this class. Ms. Bisirri goes above and beyond with helping you recieve a good great for major papers. A+++ teacher!

She is an excellent teacher. SHe is the best English teacher I've ever had. I was not sure of this class when i started off, cause i am not that great in my writing but she changed my way of writing and ended up getting an A in this class. She is different, extremely helpful, and very professional. Three best qualities that make a wonderful prof.

Prof. Bisirri was a wonderful teacher. She was very helpful and interesting. Yes, you have to do the work. And you actually learn something. I know that I'm paying for school so I can really learn something. I would def. take her again.

I had her my first semester in college. She gives alot of work which is mandatory for this gordan rule class. The good thing is if you do the work you will get a good grade in the class. Also she helps you revise and get better grades on your papers. Nice and Helpful teacher!

She appears to be a very nice lady. English isn't my "favorite" subject, but I can still write pretty decent. I received a low A. She may grade pretty tough, but if you follow all the MLA rules and take notes, you'll be fine.

Prof. Bisirri's class is not an easy A, BUT she is an excellent teacher! She gives such great constructive criticism and shows you what you're doing wrong with essays. Any English I class will be full of essays, but she helps you! I am taking her for english II so I can get more help writing essays so I can be amazing at a University!

She is a very good teacher, but most definitely plays favorites! I was one of the lucky few who she liked so i got out with an easy A but expect to work very hard if you make a bad first impression. Just show up to class and make sure you know everything there is to know about MLA and documentation! That's pretty much the whole class.

LOVE HER! Even though English is not my fav. subject, but she wasn't bad. Sometimes she would make fun of the students who asks questions she just answered, but besides that she is very nice. She helps you with everything and it's hard to get a bad grade in her class. Like 1 test and no vocab!!

If you don't do the papers and writing assignments, you won't do well. Professor Bisirri goes above and beyond with helping you receive a good grade, but you have to work for it.

Professor Bisirri is a tough grader, requires a lot of reading and is very strict on MLA rules. Overall she is fair, she gives plenty of warning for test and the test aren't that hard. If your not afraid of hard work then this class is ok. If you want an A, know in advance you will work hard and still no guarantee.

Not as bad as others believe she is. Very flexible, has helped me with deadlines many times. While not the most entertaining class, she gets the point across well and is understandable by most students. Yes a lot work is required, but much of it is not hard work at all. Not too hard of a class to take.

Tough Grader! Nit Picky and Strict. One on One she is a totally different person, understanding and sympathetic. Loves to give pop quizzes from readings. Religious about Works Cited & grammatical rules. Won't really obtain any new knowledge. Do what you are told exactly, she is very particular. She will help you A LOT if asked.

she LOVES to talk. can get boring often, cuz she basically just reads the assigned stories to you. a very fair class. shes very organized so you know everything thats expected of you from the very beginning. shes very big on mla so make sure you use it correctly on your papers and you should be fine. occasional pop quizzes so read the stories!

Just do each assignment and you will easily pass. If you want an A, go above and beyond the requirements. If you have any problems or misunderstandings, talk to her and she will work with you no problem.

Professor Bissri was a very good professor I really learned a lot in her class. As long as you come to class and participate you will get a good grade. You must do the readings . The readings go along with her pop quizzes.

Solid teacher. She has a strict guideline for all of her assignments, but if you follow them you're guaranteed an A. Take her class!

She is a very tough teacher, but seemed passionate about the subject to me. You get to class on time, do the work, and participate. Its not that hard. She was only upset when no one participated in class. Just throw out what you think is the right answer. She would focus on the part you said that was right and she always was available to talk to.

Overall she is a very passionate teacher. Professor Bisirri is very clear on what she expects from you and gives you multiple chances on perfect your essay and plenty of time. As long as you attend class regularly and ask her questions for clarity, you'll do fine! I would definitely take her again.

She is a very passionate teacher, and sometimes she does tend to talk a lot, but she definitely accepts your questions and gives through answers. She will not tolerate disrespect, and she expects you to work hard and follow instruction. However, this means that a good grade form her is worth a lot, and you feel like you really learned something.

Excellent Class structure. Plenty of materials to help one review forgotten material from ENC 1101. Come to class everyday, read in class stories before getting to class, start projects on time and don't procrastinate. I learned a couple of these the hard way.

Class isn't difficult at all. She explains things well, you can schedule appointments to meet with her if you're in need of extra help, and she's passionate about the class. Homework consists of models on Sakai, reading, and a few writing assignments. Attendance is a must and late work doesn't fly with her. Books are a must have as well.

Professor Bisirri was very helpful and gave reasonable feedback. She does use online a lot that is where most assignments are submitted and returned.

If you do all the online work you should be able to pass (its worth a lot of points). Essay's are tedious, but she is specific and basically tells you how to write it. She notices and grades on every single detail so that is really important. Follow directions! But overall she is a good professor!

Professor Bisirri is very nice. She is very clear, and her instructions are very detailed, just make sure you read them. I would certainly take one of her classes again, as I appreciate having to work for my grade.

Responded in a prompt amount of time. She does a live chat before papers are due which helps tremendously. Do labs, weekly quizzes and discussion boards since they help on the papers and final exam. 1 proctored timed writing, 1 core paper, 1 annotated bibliography and a final research paper. Make sure you buy the books. Be prepared to do work.

Very clear expectations. Gives thorough feedback with grades including comments, noted essays, and rubrics. Quick to grade and quick to respond to emails. Very actively involved in the class with how modules are set up. Wants and encourages students to succeed. 10/10 would take again.

I actually had to take ENC1101 twice because of an incident and I took her both times because I was already familiar with her. Honestly, the work is not unbearable and neither are her lectures (which she usually posts on Canvas). Very easy to work with and understands when things go wrong. Do the work, show up, PARTICIPATE and you will pass.

Honestly, she's not a bad Professor. I enjoyed taking her online class. If you do the work and use her feedback you should pass. She gives extra credit and if you don't understand something she'll help you. This is not an easy A you do have to work for it.

Excellent professor. Took the program on-line and I am happy to report that she was very active and present in the course. Online discussion groups were set up to mimic the feel of a "real" classroom. Excellent detailed feedback and quick responses to correspondence.

I got an A in this class and it really was not very hard. She is very helpful and replies to emails and writes out the instructions for all students. The downside is that she will seem to pick at every little thing. She does want everyone to get an A, and as long as you do not make the same writing mistake over and over again, you should get an A.

I took her class online and there was a lot of readings and it was pretty time consuming. She is very accessible outside class and she will give you good feedback. She's not that difficult as long as you take your time to follow her instruction, complete all the readings and participate in discussion. She's a sweet person and I like her overall.

I took her twice for ENC1101 and 1102 and passed both classes with an A, she Might be A little heavy with grading but gives you feed back before its due, enough time to change and correct anything, always a happy teacher and uses different ways to make the lesson stick. If I could I would take her again.

Professor Bisirri was an amazing professor as long as you stay on track with your work. She did lectures twice a week but I wouldn't say they were mandatory to attend as long as you do the readings and all of your other work.

She was very informative and always gave attention to areas that she previously had students struggle. Do not be afraid to reach out to her for help if you need it. Very organized. Respectful and very stern with instructions.

I took this class online but Professor Bisirri was usually pretty helpful, graded assignments in a timely manner and gave specific feedback for improvement. She was also very consistent. Each assignment was due on either Monday or Thursday during the week which made it easy to plan and schedule my time to submit assignments on time.
